M working on smartforms......but will i create table ......and clicked on table pattern.......no list is coming......is it deactive or wat??
Please help me in this....its vry urgent

Internal table Issue ( very urgent)

Hi,
 There are two internal tables A and B.
 Product is one of the fields of both A and B and is the key.
 A has say say 10 products and B has 4 products.
 I want to delete those products from A which are not there in B.
( It is somewhat like using 'FOR ALL ENTERIES IN ' with Select Statement)
Is this possible in internal tables without 'Loop at'. The actual table would have over 1 million records and and looping is a major concern.
 I am new to abap and any help from you guys would be appreciated.....

I think you will need atleast one loop. This loop can be on the table B.
If product is the left most field of table B try this:
The last field for table A must be a flag for don't delete
SORT IT_B by product.
LOOP AT IT_B INTO WA_B.
AT NEW product.
WA_A-dont_delete = 'X'.
MODIFY IT_A FROM WA_A TRANSPORTING dont_delete WHERE product = wa_b-product.
ENDAT.
ENDLOOP.
DELETE IT_A WHERE dont_delete <> 'X'.

Smartforms table border lines not printing (URGENT)

HI,
I am trying to print samrtform table border lines on Epson dot matrix printer, in print preview it showing table borders as thick black lines, while printing it not printing lines. It is printing data correctly. Can any one suggest the soution, it is very urgent.

Can you try to print in a different printer, if the error persists then the problem is in the smartform, otherwise raise a note to SAP regarding this. I think that there is problem is with the page format in which u are taking the printout.
OR
Can you check if you have selected the framed border in the table border select pattern.

SMARTFORMS - Thickness of Table Patterns

Good Morning,
I've created a table node in a SMARTFORM, i've defined my Table Pattern (in order to see my cells with borders) with size 1,00 MM.
After testing the SMARTFORM i saw that the borders of the table where very huge (more than 1,00 MM). Since the borders cut part of the text inside the cells, i've done what is obvious and changed my Table Pattern Line Width to 0,05 MM but the borders are with the same size and they look very huge.
I've tried several sizes and the smallest in can get printed is 4,0 MM.
Can someone help me to solve this?

Hi Sid,
I've done what you've told me and still have the problem.
When i'm testing the function generated (in my case is /1BCDWB/SF00000008) i receive a OK Message saying:
"The test framework for /1BCDWB/SF00000008 has been regenerated but errors ocurred".
This only happens when i regenerate the function. Could this be related to the problem i'm having? How and where can i see any kind of log of the regeneration in order to try to see what's wrong?

i am in graet trouble now.i am searching for the fields like
1)country of origin where the finished good is created.
2) customer sales order number
3)customer sales order line number
i am writing a report for delivery order.in this report i have to refer customer PO & customer SO .
i mean, my company has a customer ( seagate) & seagate has a customer (let maxtor).initially maxtor will give a PO to seagate then seagate will raise a SO againest maxtor.
Then seagate will send PO number(of maxtor), PO line number,SO number(seagate), SO line number(seagate) to our company.
Then i have to write a report for sales order & delivery order.in these reports i have to refer seagate PO number & seagate SO number for reference.
i got PO number as vbkd-bstkd but not getting any field for reference Sales order.plz advice me on this. it is very very urgent.

Very Urgent Table Column Design

Hi,
This is what i have done, I am having a table with 2 columns.One is Text view and the other is Link to Action. I set the Table row count as 10. Table design is standard and all columns design is standard. Now The first text view column appears blue in colour and the second Link to action appears in White. To make both to have same white colour i made the table as Read only now both columns appear as white. If the table have more than 10 records it works fine. But if it is less say 4 records then first four records are in white remaining are in light blue. I want to make every thing to appear same white or same blue color. How to do this .
Kindly Help this is very Urgent

          consider your are having 4 records but the line count is 10 in the table.
          insert 6 empty records into the table.

Hi ,
1.)You must have to create a EO based on custom table and then VO based on this EO eventually to save the values in DB
2.) the row.setNewRowState(Row.STATUS_INITIALIZED); is used to set the the status of row as inialized ,this is must required.
3.) When u will create the VO based on EO the viewattributes will be created in VO which will be assigned to the fields to take care the db handling .
You must go thtough the lab excercise shipped with you Jdeveloper ,there is a example of Create Employee page ,that will solve your number of doubts.

I am making a report in which i have to make relation of 2 fields BKPF-AWKEY and MKPF-MBLNR . but the problem is i am not to reterive data from it as i have to make inner join among these fields so data can be reterived fmo these tables.

Splitter operator doesnt use multi table inserts in OWB...very very urgent

Hi,
I am using OWB 9i to carry out tranformations. I want to copy the same seuence numbers to the two target tables.
Scenario:
I have a source table source_table, which is connected to a splitter and the splitter is used to dump the records in two target tables namely target1_table and target2_table. I have a sequence which is also an input to the splitter, so that I can have the same sequence number in the the two output groups of he splitter. I then map the sequence number from the two output groups to the two target tables expecting to have the same sequence number in the target tables. But when I see the generated code it creates two procedures and effectively inserts sequencing numbers in the target tables which are not consistent. Please help me so that I have the same sequencing numbers in the target tables which are consistent.
Well the above example works in row based operating mode but not in set based mode. Please give me a valid explanation.
OWB pdf says that splitter uses multi table inserts for multiple targets. After seeing the generated code for set based operations I dont agree to this.
Its very urgent.

I have three tables T1,T2 and T3.
T1 is the source table and the remaining two tables T2 and T3 are target tables.
Following are the contents of table T1 -
SQl>select * from T1;
DEPTNAME LOCATIO?N
COMP PUNE
MECH BOMBAY
ELEC A.P
Now I want to populate the two destination tables T2 and T3 with the records in T1.
For this I am using splitter operator in OWB which is suppose to generate multi table inserts, but unfortunately its not doing so when I generate the SQL. There si no "insert all" command in the sql it generates.
What I want is, when I populate T2 and T3 I use a sequence generator and I want the same sequences for T2 and T3 eg.
SQl>select * from T2;
NEXT_VAL DEPTNAME LOCATIO?N
1 COMP PUNE
2 MECH BOMBAY
3 ELEC A.P
SQl>select * from T3;
NEXT_VAL DEPTNAME LOCATIO?N
1 COMP PUNE
2 MECH BOMBAY
3 ELEC A.P
I am able to achieve this when I set the operating mode to ROW BASED. I am not geting the same result when I set the operating mode to SET BASED.

Stale Date Error in Advance Table...Its Very Urgent

Hi All,
I am getting stale data in Advance Table Regions. I am having to buttons, if I selected button1 it shows one advance table region (with show All and Hide All options) it is showing correct data in the details view.
If I select button2 and new advance table will be shown (with show All and Hide All options) and here if I select show all then I am getting stale data. For both advance tables I am using same two VO's (HeaderVO & DetailVO) but the Viewlinks are different.
For your reference below is the error.
Cause:
The number of displayed records, 8, exceeds the actual number of records, 1, in view object NetAppsProjCreationAM.ProjectLinesVO1_ProjectErrorVL_ProjectLinesVO. Some of the displayed records may have been deleted.
Please any one of you guys help me out in this issue, this is very urgent!!

Then it should work, can you check by putting debugging messages that your VO query is fetching rows properly?Also make sure that all transient columns attributes in VO wizard are not marked selected in query!
