SMQ2 Error SYSFAIL
Hello experts
I have moved all the XI developments into Production and wanted to test one of the scenario , when i sent an IDOC to XU production
In SXMB_MONI i get a green flag , but has error in queue , when i checked SMQ2 it has SYSFAIL error .
The excat ERROR is "prefix number: entry missing for system XIP client 200."
It is a new XI installation , Is there any thing missing ?

a) qRFC Errors
Often in asynchronous scenarios where inbound queues are used, the queues are set to SYSFAIL status and all the messages in the inbound queue are stuck (not processed). Depending on the status of XI processing queues, we can reset a queueu2019s status and trigger processing of messages.
Manual Resend of messages: Use transaction SMQR or SMQ2 to reset the status of queues. As you can see in the following figure, the queue has been marked with a status sysfail.
b) tRFC Errors
Like qRFC errors one can either manually or automatically initiated processing of messages hanged tRFC calls.
Manual Resend of messages: Use transaction SM58 and check through the list. If necessary, start hanging tRFC calls
under the Edit menu by choosing Execute LUWs.
For automatic tRfC failure recover, schedule the report RSARFCEX for periodic execution.
c) Other Errors
All the errors generated and captured in Integration engine can be viewed using transaction SXMB_MONI. Message that were sent asynchronously and had failed due transient system/configuration failures can be manually restarted in SXMB_MONI.

Please check whether the RFC Connections are defined properly and make sure that the 'Remote Logon' is working properly. I think this should resolve your problem.

BPM SMQ2 in sysfail Access using a 'ZERO' object reference is not possible

I am working on a IDOC to SOAP synchronous scenario
So I am using a BPM....
I have written a operation mapping outside BPM
1) Request MM creates the SOAP rquest
2) Response is a ABAP mapping where i am checking the response from webserice and then generating an email using ABAP code.
now when i am running this scneario works fine and the mail gets generated...
however i get a green flag in moni and in SMQ2 in sysfail Access using a 'ZERO' object reference is not possible
PS : Also the response coming from the webserice has a custom header which does not match with the response ABAP mapping source MT
however if I work on the same thing using Proxy to SOAP sync there is no sysfail message and it works fine
Is this a bug in the system ...i am using PI 7.1Hi,

When i m maintaining a relationship to BP . system is throwing the below error :
In SMQ1 , I m getting error " SYSFAIL " .When i double click on that it is giving description as ' Incorrect parameter with CALL FUNCTION "
In SMW01 , it is showing BDOC error as SEE_TABLE_SMW3_BDOCQ .
I have checked the short dump error in target system and it is showing error description as CALL_FUNCTION_PARM_MISSING .
Could any one suggest me what could be the cause of error .

SMQ2 Error: Delivery has not yet been put away / picked (completely) in ECC
Hi All,
I am processing an Outbound Scenario..everything is fine until SMQ2 shows an error in ECC system. SMQ2 shows me the following error:
Delivery has not yet been put away / picked (completely)
Message no. VL609
My outbound delivery which was distributed to EWM system has overall picking status as blank (Not relevant for picking).
Our system is recently upgraded to EhP6, since then we are seeing this issue. Interestingly VL01NO (Delivery without reference to Order) works properly.
Other ECC-EWM integration settings are fine. Delivery Type and Item Category also look good.
I could not be able to find any OSS Note relevant to this situation.
Could you anyone help me.

Mahesh.Further what I see in this Outbound Scenario in EWM is when I am creating Outbound Delivery meant for EWM system with ref. to Sales Order, "Picking" tab shows EWM WHN but also shows Overall WM status as "Transfer Order Required" which is not correct.
If I remove Storage Location and re-enter then Over all WM status and Over all Picking status fields come as blank. But after all EWM processing, SMQ2 queue (FM: BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CONFIRM_DEC) fails with error
Delivery has not yet been put away / picked (completely)
Message no. VL609.
Any thoughts?

Hi
I have a WM system with stocks inclusing of HUs because one of my WM managed storage location is also HU managed.
Now, I have converted WM storage locations to EWM and removed HU management indicators were earlier HU managed and completed all necessary configurations and system is working smoothly (i.e. any inbound/outbound deliveries created in WM managed storage locations are now being distributed to EWM and vice versa along with HUs created either in ECC or EWM systems)
I have uploaded the stocks to EWM system using transaction /SCWM/ISU without an update to ECC system. The stocks uploaded are inclusive of HUs existing in ECC stocks.
When I am trying to issue the HU stocks (which are newly uploaded to EWM) against any customer outbound deliveries using pick WT and do PGI in EWM system, I am seeing the an error (HUSELECT005) in SMQ2 of ECC system for the outbound delivery.
HUs I have chosen for picking are existing in WM system as SUs (in LQUA table) and also in EWM system (uploaded using ISU transaction.
Am I wrong anywhere here.
Depleting the stocks from WM system and then connecting that storage location to EWM system and then uploading hte stocks again into EWM system might work for me but SAP has already provided direct stock upload using ISU transaction without disturbing the ECC stocks.
I have following this direct stock upload to EWM system.
Would you please help me in resolving this issue.

The note is meant for CRM 4.0, we are using CRM 5.0. Also i checked the note, which is usefull for CSA* queue, which handles the Order replication. My issue is with R3AD_BUPA, where BP gets replciated from R/3. Any other pointer.

Error 'sysfail' in outbound que of SRM :Initial download - DNL_CUST_BASIS3
Dear Consultants,
We are trying to replicate the product categories and material master from ECC system to SRM system for the first time.
Performed all the middleware settings as per note 720819. When running the initial load - DNL_CUST_BASIS3 the prog keeps on running. We are getting a entry in SRM outbound que - Sysfail - trigerred a dump in the source system. When we get into ST22 in ECC system we see there is a dump. While analysing the dump in st22 we get that table CRMATAB is empty, the same issue we get when we debug the que in outbound que in SRM.
We are planning to apply note 1501685 to address the issue. But there are some entries which are there in Inbound que of SRM system. All have the status of sysfail. Some refer to analyse the error in SMW01 and some say refer note 490748. In the Note 490748 all entries are maintained . Other entries says the category for material group xxx does not exist - import the Customizing object DNL_CUST_PROD1.
I am a bit confused now, will the application of the Note will solve the issue or is there something else that may need to be done.
Any specific inputs will be valuable for me.

LUW data for smq2--Error During Delivery: Ibound processing locked
Hi all,
There are lot of messages(more than 7000) stucked in d Inbound queues, as viewed by SMQ2, and are in the retry mode for long.
In the LUW data the status of the queue is showing error during delivery and the error text is <b>Inbound Processing Locked for example Deadline Processing </b>
can anyone please suggest what this problem is about and suggstions for removing this problem will be really appreciated.
This is urgent as the problem is in production.

Hi experts, we're facing a weird situation in our system. There is a standard interface which uses Post Processing Desktop and it's showing on SMQ2 that the queue is stopped, but we cannot find the error message.
Normally, when we have this situation and click in the first message, we are able to see the error message. But in this case, we can only see the scheduled one. It seems like the error message was already discarded by the user (we are not sure) but the queue still in error status.
I've also searched using SXI_MONITOR for the messages in the queue but I've found just those 3 listed.
Does anybody has faced this kind of issue before?

In the normal scenario, we can found the erroneous message on sxmb_moni, and then discard or try to reprocess the message on Post Processing Desktop. There is no action on sxbm_moni for those kind of messages. They are sent to external application. See below the normal scenario found which its easy to handle once we can see the erroneous message and it can be handled on the Post Processing Desktop:
Our issue, which I've described on the start of the thread, is because we cannot find the previous error message. Seems that error message, which is blocking the queue sequence, was deleted or something. And the application is blocking the next message. I've tried to search on ST22 for some error, but none was found.
Does any one has faced any situation like that involving Post Processing Desktop?

This error may occur if
- You address a typed field symbol before it has been set with
ASSIGN
- You address a field symbol that pointed to the line of an
internal table that was deleted
- You address a field symbol that was previously reset using
UNASSIGN or that pointed to a local field that no
longer exists
- You address a global function interface, although the
respective function module is not active - that is, is
not in the list of active calls. The list of active calls
can be taken from this short dump.

In our scenario Accounts Receivable and FSCM(Financial Supply Chain management ) based on the ECC system are exchanging messages through PI,the standard document for Configuration (SAP Credit Management Configuration Guide ) has been followed.But we find that few messages are getting stuck , whenever the message size is large it gets stuck , messages of size between 1MB to % MB are getting stuck, is it due to the large size ? What can be a possible solution for the problem? Do we have to split the messages to reduce size or can the messages be routed through queues that can handle large sized data.Should we try distributing the load?I have heard of tunnelling being used or a file port solution being used but never worked on them.
Please help on the above.

Hello Experts,
My Interface JDBC -->PROXY messages are succesfull in PI .In inbound queue of ECC 6.0,with status text "ThiSend:bad tm type /connection closed (no data)".
I came to know the message scheduled due to function
module sxms_async_exec
and raising an exception as ThiSend:bad tm type/
connection closed (no data).
This problem is happening only some times .Please throw some light on the issue .
Any help is highly appreciated.

PraveenI had a similar issue in the past. This was due to the incomming data into ECC, and can be resolved by Debbuging the active call.
Please use the following steps to debug an active session.
1. Assuming you have a Service user making calls from PI to ECC. Convert this user to a System user.
2. Set up External break-points in ECC for the service user.
3. Push the errored message again from PI to ECC
This would open up a debugging window for the active session. Once done, you would be able to trap the error.
Once this error is trapped, catch the exception and generate an error log, do not throw out an exception to end processing.
