Sms and modem MC-35i

Hi all
I have the modem MC-35i.
I created the message and wanted to send this SMS via this modem.
At first I sent this SMS via Hyper Terminal.
The massage was dellivered to my telephone.
Then I sent this message via LabView but the message wasn't delivered to my telephone.
I have the same setting com port for Hyper Terminal and LV.
Where is my erreor?

Hello Iskander,
I looked at your code and I have a few questions. Is there a reason you are concatenating single strings on the first two VISA Writes? Is there a reason you set the Send End Enable property to false in the third VISA Write? I don't see any other possible issues, but you might want to put down some more indicators to see what is happening at each step, this will help you narrow down which step is causing your application to fail.

I'm a newbie at wireless Java, but I am interested to know how can I implement a gateway application/server that works both as an SMS and WAP gateway.
I've read some documents on Kannel(open source WAP gateway), but I am interested to know if there are any resources available that would be of help to implement one in Java (API for SMS, WAP etc).
The second question I have is:
Where do CIMD2, SMPP, UCP etc. come into Messaging picture ? Do they complement WAP for sending/receving SMS ?(pls excuse me, if I sound weird, I am trying to make sense of things :p )
I appreciate any help or suggestions to resources.

An SMS Gateway needs to communicate with the SMSC using some way or another. You have many options:
1- Connect a simple GSM phone to the serial port of your pc and use it to send and receive messages.
2- A GSM modem (like Nokia Premicell, Siemens M20..)
3- Connect directly to the SMSC.
If you choose the third option, then there must be a specific protocol to use to talk to the SMSC. Your SMSC might support one or more of these protocols:
1- SMPP (The good java api for this protocol is available http://opensmpp.logica.com)
2- UCP (see: http://www.cmg.com)
3- CIMD2 (see: http://www.nokia.com)

Sorry, My English is not perfect. I am looking for an idea that would allow me to send an sms and those who receive it have to simply press the "call" button to make the phone calls a number of 25 characters.
I thought to send a sms by changing the senderID, it works, but the maximum length is 16 characters. And I need 25.
Any idea ?

well how we will read this particular "new msg" from modem Simply read the bytes from the SerialPort's InputStream; check the API docs.
and where it will store in SIM memory or modem memoryBeats me; all I do with my cellular is charge the damned thing's
batteries because those are dead after a few phone calls already.
I never send/receive SMS messages.

I recieve SMS and i hear established melody and I do't hear the person on all over SMS. How to solve this problem?

Problem with an incoming message. For example, during my conversation the second line receives a call, I hear the sound in dynamics such as "piiiip piiiip," but when in this situation I recieve SMS and i hear established melody and I do't hear the person on all over SMS. Is there an outage in the Cleveland, Ohio area (zip codes 44129, 44134, 44137) or anything else I can do to resolve this issue?

Not that I'm a Verizon employee, but I have experience in the field. An LTE tower will only extend up to, on a perfect day, with no elevation, 6-7 miles. On a typical day, you will be lucky at four (4) miles. The three ZIP codes you've given are all within about a 12 mile radius. That would mean that 2-3 towers are currently down at the same time, and Verizon would know about it within the hour. Being it's Cleveland, I'm sure they would receive numerous calls regarding an outage of that size.
My point is that if you're having issues in all three ZIP codes, chances are it's a phone issue. If you're handset is simply not receiving LTE, but still receiving 3G, that would signify a SIM card issue. You need to get your SIM card replaced.

If you are updating from iOS 6, you won't lose data. However, you must make an iTunes or iCloud backup before updating in case the update fails and you have to restore the iPhone

If I turn off iMessages on my iphone 5 and only use SMS, I am hoping this will this stop ALL my messages going to partners ipad? I only want 2 use SMS and not have any of my messages go to partners ipad so dont want to alter ipad settings.

My situtation is this, my soon to be ex previously set up an ipad with both our numbers and we share a linked itunes/icloud account so if my phone is off he gets all my messages via his ipad that I DO NOT have access to his ipad at ALL. I can't set up my own itunes account (not yet until I leave him) otherwise he will know I am leaving him and it will cause major problems. Is this correct? Its just a temporary solution I am hoping. I have searched for days and hours and I just cant find this answer anywhere....
Do I HAVE to turn off my phone number off or delete it on his ipad? I am really hoping I can just do this at my own end and not touch his ipad in anyway or have to change my itunes id YET. Once I leave him shortly, I will create a whole new ID etc. I just wanna know if I can do this myself on my iphone only. Please any experienced help would be greatly appreciated. SMS messages will not go to the iPad Mini. It's not capable of receving them. If you have access and can do it without it causing a problem, remove your iPhone from the Apple ID Support profile:
Go to: https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do
Log in if not already logged in.
Click on "Edit Products"
Click on the "X" to the right of the product.
Click "Unregister"
If anyone in your family uses iMessage, they will go to both you and your boyfriend unless you do that.
To be completely safe, you may want to simply use an alternate message app such as Skype, Viber, Whatsapp (assuming everyone has a smartphone) until the issue is resolved. Google Voice will also allow you to send and receive texts to another number on your phone.

Desktop SMS and Windows Mail don't work properly together

thought I would post there here as been having some issues with my Windows Mail but my desktop computer doesn't suffer same issues and on a Vista forum where I posted my problem a couple of very helpful told me who to try solving the issues.
One of them suddenly realised I'd said my laptop was a Toshiba and apparently the Desktop SMS and Windows Mail just don't work properly together so the person suggested unless I use it to uninstall it apparently amongst the technically trained its known that these two programs don't like each other and would explain why my desktop doesn't have the issue but laptop does.
After resetting the Windows Mail (tutorial on a vista site http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/) Touch wood don't be put off by vistax64 as site does both 32 and 64 and followed Brink's excellent resetting Windows Mail (didn't restore any mail) and then uninstalled Desktop SMS and touch wood no more mail issues as has been giving me problems virtually daily with marking draft emails as read/sent.
So had to click on forward then delete those bits and finish email to send it and touch wood since doing these two things as soon as send an email to draft or outbox get the number of emails in the brackets whereas before this wouldn't happen unless I closed the program then reopened it.
Hoping these solutions have fixed my problem and wanted to share it with anybody else who wants to read this thread and would recommend the Vista 64 site as they're all really helpful over there and speak in non technical terms for those of us not technically trained.

I have marked this as answered as it was more a post to help others who may have experienced the same problem I did and didn't get a reply or just didn't know that this program could be the reason their Windows Mail has issues that can't seem to be resolved any other way apart from ignore them and hope they don't get worse.

The data isn't actually stored in iTunes. iTunes is like a card catalog that allows you to access information from the various places that it's stored on the computer. SMS and contact info will be viewable in whatever program you sync contact information. The backup actually keeps the files, but doesn't make them viewable, I'm pretty sure. You can only see the info you've actually synced.
