SMSs not notified nor shown in SMS folder

Hi!
Q10 is my first BB and this issue is driving me crazy.
When I receive a new SMS I don't get any notifications (popup, led or sound). Furthermore new SMSs are shown in Hub but not in SMS folder.
I've tried soft and hard reset (i.e. removing battery), what else can I do?

    Hi buddy, I figured out what is wrong with that. I had the very same issue, while sending an sms via iMessage on Mountain Lion. I called the Apple guy at the Apple care support but without any luck.
    At the end--at least in my case, but it could also be yours--I think I have understood what was going on. This happens when you have your Apple ID registered on more than one device. In my case, we have two iPhones--one for me and one for my wife--but with the same App Store account. So, when I sent an sms via iMessage for the Mac, the receiver was shown my wife's iPhone number.
    I hope I have been clear enough, you know, explaining this in a foreing language is always painful...

    Something really odd is going on. In your first screen shot, I noticed that the Applications folder does not have the proper icon displayed in the side bar. Also, in the title bar it lists it as Applications 08-59-29-909.
    Not sure where it's picking up that odd name, unless it's because it's still truly within the Trash folder.
    Try this. In the Finder > Preferences > General > turn on "Always open folders in a new window". (I have a feeling you have the default setting with this off).
    Now, in Finder > Go > move down and open the Applications Folder from there. Now open the folder where you see all your applications that you show in your screen shot, select all, and move them to this true appliactions folder.
    This is what you should properly seeing (but with different apps listed):
    See how the Applications folder has the icon of the letter A shaped with a pencil, ruler & pen.

  • Voice dial does not confirm nor allow cancel

    When I use voice dial (usually via bluetooth headset on iPhone 3GS), if the iPhone decides it has found an exact match, it will notify me of the match and then start dialing.  It does not confirm the match with me, and when it starts dialing, the "Cancel" keyword does not work - nor does pressing the call button on my headset do anything.
    Instead, I have to frantically dig my phone out of my pocket and scramble to the phone interface and presss "End Call" before the accidental international call goes through.
    Is there a way to allow either or both actions in iOS?  Or is there a way to submit an enhancement request?

    You should not have to uninstall Premiere Elements 12/12.1 in order to install and run Premiere Elements 13 on the same computer unless your computer is overloaded and the computer resources are compromised. Just use one program at a time.
    Can you still use 12/12.1 on this same computer that will not let you use 13?
    What specific Window operating system are you using?
    Let us go through the usual drill...
    1. Does the problem exist with and without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
    2. Are you using a pen and tablet device instead of a mouse?
    3. Did you install the program with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
    4. Disable the SLCache Folder found in Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit
    Local Disk C
    Program Files (x86)
    Common Files
    Adobe
    and in the Adobe Folder should be the SL Cache Folder that you delete or disable by renaming the Folder
    from SLCache to SLCacheOLD.
    5. Are you running the program as Administrator and is the latest version of QuickTime installed on the same
    computer as Premiere Elements 13?

  • Ical 5.0.3 on 10.7.5 - how to delete invites and NOT notify sender??

    I have a lot of calendar invites that come in via email regularly and I want to delete or decline them but I do NOT want to notify the sender. For example, I may have received a calendar invite from someone months ago that has recently left an organization. If i hit 'decline' ical sends an email messgae that the invite was declined - I do not want to send that email.
    Have to believe I can set a flag for 'do not notify' - somewhere.
    Is there a file I can edit if this version of ical doesn't make that available in preferences (I can't find it). Thanks in advance.
    This is a huge problem as I receive invites from several hundred people monthly and I need too clear all this stuff out but don't icall to automatically want to send emails.

    Solved:
    1. Type  chflags nohidden ~/Library/ in a Terminal window.
    2. Click on the hard drive icon located on the desktop.
    3. Go to Users > [username] > Library > Safari folder.
    4. Delete all files except “Bookmarks.plist”.
    5. Then go to Users > [username] > Library > Preferences.
    6. Find com.apple.Safari.plist, com.apple.internetconfigpriv.plist, and com.apple.internetconfig.plist and delete them (ignore any file you can’t find).

  • Change listener not notified when tree item is deselected

    I'm attaching a listener to the selected index property of the tree view selection model to detect when a user selects or deselects on or more nodes in a tree, but it appears that the listener is not notified when a user deselects a node. So if a user selects two nodes and then while holding down the Ctrl key deselects one of the selected nodes the tree view control deselects the node, but the change listener is not notified. Is this is a bug or am I doing something wrong?
    I’m using the GA version of JavaFX 2.1 on Windows 7.

    The selected index value does not change in those cases as it reflects the last selected index (useful for single selection). It does act wierd at is possible to have a selected index that is not actually selected (you can report a bug for that I think).
    However, if you want to track the full selection, try adding a ListChangeListener to the selectedIndices of the selection model. This one does fire a change every time.

  • Iphoto will not save photo in most recent folder

    I have having trouble with the new iPhoto 9.3   When I import a photo, it will not go to my most recent folder.   It only goes to the library section.   I have called Apple support twice and have gone through the lengthy steps of dumping iPhoto files from my library, and then rebuilding everything.   It takes the 4th option, rebuild data base to make it work again.   However, that only lasts for one day.   The next time I open iPhote, it is back to the same way.   I spent an hour on the phone last night, I certainly do know how to do it now, but what is the point, when it will just happen again?   Is anyone else having this problem with the new update.   It is driving me crazy.   I am not going to bother fixilng it again if it just lasts one day.   I want a permanent fix.   Help

    I mean in my folder that says last 18 months--under the Recent heading.   In the library section the photos are shown in both photos and events.   The dates on my camera are correct.   I have called Apple care and we have repaired this twice.   First I have to find my library (hidden under the GO heading.) Then go to library, dump the cache and everything with iphoto in the title.   Close iPhoto.   Then hold option and command at the same time and click on iPhoto.  It will open with a box with 4 things that can be done to rebuild or restore.   The 4th one is the one that works--do not rebuild the snapshots--that takes forever!!   Anyway, this works --for about 24 hours, then it reverts back.   This all started with the update to 9.3.   Two other problems.   If I send a photo through iPhoto, and I type anything with it, the typing shows up on the photo and is almost impossible to read.   Got that info back from the person I wrote to.   And my photos that I put in the photo stream have disappeared, all but 3.   They still are in the photo stream on my iPad and my husband's computer (not with updated iPhoto--I said do not do this.)   So, I could fix this again, but what is the point?   It takes forever and does not last.   I think we need a software correction of some kind for iPhoto 9.3.   Is anyone else having this problem?

    Just wanted to know how to back-up my sms folder and its contents in that folder using Nokia PC suite.
    I am worried that while taking a back-up only the inbox,outbox and drafts gets backed up?
    Again I would like to transfer these msgs to another E 52 mobile.
    Please do advise me how to proceed with it.

    Like many others I share the frustrations of Nokia PC Suite not enabling me to transfer SMS messages from 'My Folders' (in my case a Nokia 6310i and PC Suite 4.8x).

  • My iPhone does not notify me when a text message comes in.

    My iPhone has been acting really strange since the last update. I am now using iOS 7.1.1, iPhone 4 but the phone is not letting me know when I have messages come in. For example... my sms will not notify me when it is on locked screen... I have tried many, many different things that I have seen suggested on here but nothing is working.
    Not only is it from my messages, but I have been missing calls as well because it is not ringing through.
    Could you please tell me how I can get this fixed.

    Nope, text messages are set to alert style, none of these settings has changed. Like I said, it's only an intermittent problem that happens while I am using another app or mail or Safari or whatever. Strangely enough, when I am using a music app (Pandora, etc.) that does not require me to actively use it (for example, I am listening to music but the lock screen is on, and when I unlock I'm just on my home screen... I do get text alerts. This is so weird and such a pain!

    You would need to make sure you're accessing the Computers icon. If you are under the Music icon, that will be accessing the cloud and only show iTunes purchases (unless you subscribe to iTunes Match)

     I am working in a sharepoint migration project. We have migrated one SharePoint project from moss2007 to sp2013. Issue is when we are clicking on Popularity trend > usage report,  it is throwing an error.
    Issue: The data was not being processed to EVENT STORE folder which was present under the

    I have verified few things in server which are mentioned below
    Two timer jobs (Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Usage Data Processing, Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Usage Data Import) are running fine.
    APPFabric Caching service has been started.
    Analytics_GUID folder has been
    shared with
    WSS_ADMIN_WPG and WSS_WPG and Read/Write access was granted
    .usage files are getting created and also the temporary(.tmp) file has been created.
    uasage  logging database for uasage data being transported. The data is available.
    Please provide pointers on what needs to be done.

    According to your description, my understanding is that you could not use popularity trend after you migrated SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2013.

    First it told me to uninstall itunes and install a windows 64 bit version which I did, the phone still won't sync
    At the same time the itunes won't access the store
    I've never accessed the store before or synced the phone
    I live in a country without apple stores and geniuses so this is really the only way someone can help me

  • Not Authorized to write to this folder - error msg.

    I have been trying to install updates for my Canon Dig Camera software [Applications/Canon Utilities - Canon Utilities is the folder I created during the initial install], it appears to go fine for the first few updates (image browser, Camera Window) and then suddenly stops and throws the error 'Not Authorized to Write to this Folder' and quits. Any suggestions?

    Owner: system (locked)
    Access: R & W
    Group: Admin
    Access: R&W
    Others: Read Only
