So how can I get it back to where there is a seperate visual thumbnail page of tabs. This new tabs on the top is a big mistake in my opinion. Many times while on a website I have accidentally hit one of the other tabs at the top of the screen and all the sudden I am on a page that was previously open. This new tabs at the top also made the menu bar deeper to accomodate everything that should be on a seperate page like it used to be. It was really great, and not something that had to be improved upon. So is there a way to get the tabs back to where they should be?

My daughter & I share same iCloud acct for my ipad & her iPhone. She set up a new iCloud acct for her new ipad but my iCloud acct still shows on her iPhone. If we delete, will it remove all her pictures etc(they are backed up to my iCloud)
Welcome to the Apple Community.
If she deletes your account, any photos in your photostream album will be removed from her device, her own photos in camera roll or other albums will not. If there are any photos in your photostream album she wants, there are 2 options available to her:
Copy those photos to her camera roll before deleting your account.
Create a shared photostream album yourself and share it with her. -
Ive purchased ringtones from Itunes. They were working before I did the recent update. I cannot find them on the iPhone and they are no longer assigned - I had five. I have synced several times and does anyone know where they are or how to assign them again?
On your iPhone tap Settings > Store
Make sure Music is switched on.
Now reset your iPhone.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. -
Photo stream not showing up on iPhone after upgrade and ical not updating calendar on Mac
I just cross upgraded from 4 to 4s. I have 1000 photos in photo stream from old phone and on Mac - after restoring from backup (done right before the phone switch), I only have 161 photos - its not increasing over time....
Is there any way to push this to the phone?
Also, my calendar is not updating in the cloud with items on the phone.i have also upgraded my phone to a 4S and have an ipad. I will not upgrade to Lion until the primary software i use is made compatable. just spent 30 min with tech support to learn that because of the icloud, i can no longer upload my photos. i can not turn icloud on my mobile devices without losing totally the syncing of my calendar, contacts, mail to my computer running 10.6.8!! If i do turn the feature on, I must create a new identiy on the mobile devices, that identity would take over my calendar, contacts, mail etc, and not sync with my office computer. i asked multiple times if the new identity could be separate from my primary information and was told multiple times no.
unbelievable!!
i suffered all the growing pains (syn) of mobile me and feel now back in the worst days of Apple with some pretty new hardware

quicken should work with lion.
Quicken Essentials will work with Lion. Most people that have used Quicken for a while (i.e. Quicken 2007) have found that Quicken Essentials isn't much better than a basic spreadsheet. It is a significant step down from previous versions and does not offer many of the features previously offered. Right now, it seems like the two most common options are iBank and MoneyDance.
Frankly... this is a major opportunity for these companies. The largest commercial distributor of this type of product has been Intuit (Quicken). That makes it hard for any other company to get any of that market as so many people were already using Quicken and may have had years of data stored in it. Now, with Quicken effectively out of the picture, it's a great chance for another company. Just imagine if iPhones were suddenly off the market. That would give other manufacturers a tremendous opportunity since they wouldn't have to fight an up hill battle against a market giant. -
I just upgraded to Lion and switched my web page from MobileMe to Godaddy. But since upgrading to Lion a video I placed on my web page no longer shows up. instead I get "plug-in failure". That didn't happen until the Lion Upgrade what do I do?
What's the format of your video? That will give you a hint as to what plugin is failing (or missing).

I can't find them on FB. I found "password plus" and found they have a very similar problem they are working on in case anyone is looking into that, they'll have a new upgrade soon. BUT "password +" I can't find the developer website or the FB acct suggested above. If anyone can give me a link, I'd appreciate it. AND I'm stuck I have to get this to work to retrieve my data and THEN I can shop for a better app....... -
i've downloaded some free games for my iphone4 but they are using my internet because they have ads. does anyone know if there are any games that don't have these ads and don't require internet AT ALL?and if i disable my internet connexion, does it help?

I'm currently signed onto my home network and want to go on with another computer but don't remember my password for my network. Does anyone know where to find this? It's a password that I set myself, not the one that came with my router.
It's in your Keychain on the computer you usually use to connect to your network - the "kind" will be "AirPort Network Password".
Your Keychain can be opened by using the Keychain Access program. It is in your Utilities Folder.
Open Keychain Access, and type airport in the search field. You will see a number of entries. Choose the one with the name of your wireless network, open it, and check the box next to "show password". Before it reveals itself you will be asked for your login password - the one you use to log in to your MacBook.
The network password will appear in the box.
Quit Keychain Access. -

I pod touch 5th generation was working fine (Not sure what the last ios i downloaded was it should be ios 8 or higher). The battery died so i charged it. Now that it is charged when i hold the power button the screen turns dark blue as if it's powering on and the apple logo is about to appear but it never does nor do any other type of images on the screen. If i hold the home button Siri will say "Siri is not available please connect to internet" but there is still no image on the screen. I've tried holding down the home and power button it restart it but doing this just gave me the same results. How do i fix this problem? What's wrong with my i pod?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I updated my iphone to OS 5.0.1 and i can not add events to my iphone calendar- does anyone know how to fix this issue?
I updated today to the 5.0.1 and now when I try to sync to ITunes, it doesn't recognize my phone and an error message comes up saying that "This iPhone cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device service is not started.' What does this mean? Never mind - I found an article in the Support about this very thing! Thanks!

Why can't I get the tools in the upper left of the Organizer Screen...Elements 9?
Perhaps the page is too large and the tools are above my screen. I can't access them, can't "Import" any of my pictures. I've been in "Edit" and done work there. But this is the first time I've tried to use the Organizer. Help!
