So many GB for so little.
I run FCP HD on my stock, 12" PowerBook G4 (Yes my desk and lap both have holes burnt through them). I have a ten minute short that I filmed, captured, edited, and then exported into a few different size Quicktime files.
Spanning across the Audio Render Files, Capture Scratch, Film Files, and Render files, it's taking up about 12 GB on my disk.
This seems like a lot to me.
If it is a lot, is there anything I could do? Render less, export differently, something?

Seriously, video takes up a lot of space. But once you've finished editing and you've exported to the format(s) of your delivery/viewing choice, you can delete the original captures and the render files. If you captured properly and the need to re-edit ever comes up, you can always recapture from the original tapes and re-render any effects.

you can activate on 1 mac and 1 pc, or 2 pc's, or 2 mac's, concurrently.
i have cc installed on 2 pcs and 1 mac. i can only activate 2 at any one time which works well for me because my pcs are at home and my office and i use them most of the time.
but when i travel i take my macbook so i just deactivate one or both of my pcs (uninstalling is not needed) and sign in to my macs cc app. -

I had a 640GB HDD in my Early 2008 Macbook and it was just too much it would always freeze up the computer a bit for only a few seconds but ya. Then I realized that it was the size of the HDD that was causing it since the Early 2008 Macbook models can only handle a MAX od 500GB while the Early 2008 Macbook Pros could have a MAX of 640GB (Lucked out there!) lol But ya the Early 2008 Mocbooks can only handle a MAX HDD size of 500GB and that's it!! lol

I have had my IPhone 4S for a little over a week now. My battery life was at 90% It Died, Dead, Does not work at all. Can someone tell me what in the heck is going on here. I am having 2 reports one is for subquery which returns inputs to Main report. Actually the report was working fine in 10g. But in 11g we are gettting following error:

Normally the IN clause has restriction of 10000 values in general sql/plsql we will go with inline queries i think model your rpd to generate inner queries
select * from emp where dept_id in (Select distinct dept_id from dept);
or have a condition/filter on sub report and make one more inner report with sub-filter but definitely it will cause performance issues.

Too many lines for CO-PA assessment postings in KSB1

I created an assessment cycle in KEU1, with one segment, using an PA transfer structure (several cost elements to several value fields), and I´m using one single secondary cost element (category 42) to credit the cost centers.
When I execute the assessment via KEU5, the credits in the cost centers for the cost element category 42 generates too many lines (for example, I had 3 postings to 3 primary cost elements and in KSB1 I have 9 lines of "credits" - operation KSPA.):
Primary Cost Elements:
4110201004 ==> 3.000,00
4110209009 ==> 2.000,00
4110209013 ==> 1.000,00
Secondary cost element (after settlement through KEU5):

Mayumithe number of line item crediting the cost centre, shall be the same of the line item required in the COPA posting. So the more receiver you have in COPA , the more line item are created.

My Acrobat 8 Pro is failing to print to a pdf from multiple software. I get an error message that a repair fixes but only for a little while. Pretty soon the trial version of 9 that I installed pops up telling me it has expired but it would take me to a way to buy a valid serial number and then 8 stops working again. I’d be happy if the 8 I paid for worked right or I could get 9 for a small cost but I cannot afford $450 or $20/month. I need a permanent solution that I should be already paid for with 8 pro.
After multiple repair procedures with reboot in AA8 I was eventually able to restore the printing to pdf function from various software. However I have again lost my Acrobat tab in Outlook 2007. I need that back, but today an even bigger problem arose. AA8 has stopped printing to fax. It faxes a blank page. The only fax printing option is “Microsoft Shared Fax Driver”. My fax software is “Windows Fax and Scan” and it was working fine just a couple weeks ago. My OS is Windows 7 Professional.
I have tried doing the updates you referred to but I get error messages like these:

A year or so ago I had turned on a toolbar that sat at the top with the other toolbar, and had many tools for development and checking of websites. You could turn Java on/off, javascript on/off, turn on source view, and many other things. Now I cant find that toolbar. All that I can find now turns on a panel in the lower half of the window that probably does all the same stuff, but it takes up much more room. Where did that toolbar go? or was it an add-on or plug-in?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes) in the search box. Note the timestamps of those log messages, which refer to the times when the system was booted. Now clear the search box and scroll back in the log to the last boot time when you had the problem. Select the messages logged after the boot, during the time something abnormal was happening. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
For example, if the problem is a slow startup taking three minutes, post the messages timestamped within three minutes after the boot time, not before. Please include the BOOT_TIME message at the beginning of the log extract.
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

Still in Console, look under System Diagnostic Reports for crash or panic logs, and post the entire contents of the most recent one, if any. In the interest of privacy, I suggest you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if present (it may not be.) Please don’t post shutdownStall, spin, or hang logs — they're very long and not helpful. -

Well if you got the Phone Pggray43 at a Local Corporate store in your Area) you should be able to return it as long as you have all the contents.! Phone, Charger and any other accessories that came with it the Box of Course.. As long as you have not went past the 14 Day return.. the store can go over what you used as in Air Time and Data..
Now if you've went past the 14 Day return you be Liable to pay a E.T.F = Early Termination Fee the fee for this is around $300 so hopefully you have not went past the 14 Day return window the Manager if Available is the one I would talk to tell them your on Social Security and you just can't afford a phone as this I'm sure they'll work with you to get something solved..

Hi Terrence, this is what happens, all too often when I click on something, sometimes it takes me 5 more clicks on the mouse while moving the cursor around to get rid of it. The one below popped up as I clicked on my junk mail.
The next one popped up when I was trying to get on to a site. This happens all the time. Don't know why it is happening. It happens on iPhoto, Aperture, everywhere I go, FaceBook...everywhere and at any time. So frustrating. I don't know if this is normal, but this was happening just before my last mac died a year ago.
