SOA 11g and JMS cannot write to queue

I have a process which will read from a queue (works fine), but trying to write to a queue never posta a record. I am using the JMS adapter. The write operation in the console shows it was successful . I am using a non-XA data source. the xa worked, but I have my own error handling which the XA does not work with.
Maybe the non-xa is not doing a commit on wirte?

You have to configure a transport header action with "pass all headers through pipeline" option to make this work.
Configuring Transport Headers in Message Flows
The transport header action is a communication type action, and it is available in pipeline stages and error handler stages.
Configuring Global Pass Through and Header-Specific Copy Options for Transport Headers
The following options are available when you configure a transport headers action:
> * The Pass all Headers through Pipeline option specifies that at run time, the transport headers action passes all headers through from the inbound message to >the outbound message or vice versa. Every header in the source set of headers is copied to the target header set, overwriting any existing values in the target >header set.

  • SOA OSB and JMS issues

    Hi guys,
    We are trying to achieve synchronous communication using JMS. The client in Weblogic Domain 1 creates a JMS Message , and sets the JMSReplyTo attribute as queue ‘Reply’ where it waits on for a reply. It waits for a message having correlation id = to the messageid of the message it sent on the ‘reply’ queue. An OSB proxy service picks the message and puts it on a queue on Weblogic Domain 2. A MDB listening to this queue on domain 2, picks the message and creates a reply message with the correlation id of reply as message id of incoming message. At this point when we inspect the JMSReplyTo header value of the request message, it appears as null. Is the JMSReplyTo attribute not retained across Weblogic domains? Or is the proxy service not copying it over.
    Our basic aim is to get the request message from a queue on one domain to another domain, and get the reply back on the right queue that the client is pinning on.
    Is using OSB not the right approach or we are not configuring it right? Will using Weblogic SAF capability help us?

    I was running an example of message bean driven and it worked.
    I am on Windows XP, j2sdk 1.4.1_02, and jonas 3.1 and eclipse 2.1. all my classpath seem to be set correctly.
    I use a ant script to compile it but when I run on the concole this is the same error.
    But today nothing works when I am compiling the code I 've got the following error:

  • AQ (PL/SQL) and JMS access to same queue?

    Hello,
    I have a queue of type JMS-MapMessage for which I want to enqueue messages with the
    AQ PL/SQL API. How would I define it's
    payload since apparently the message content
    cannot be displayed by sqlplus? Alternatively, how can I set my own properties for a JMS-type queue in PL/SQL?
    I'd be glad if I could get to see an example
    of a PL/SQL-ENQUEUE to a JMS-type queue!
    Thanks,
    Karin

    I am using PL/SQL directly to send JMS text messages. Works fine. Here is example:
    DECLARE
    Enqueue_options DBMS_AQ.enqueue_options_t;
    Message_properties DBMS_AQ.message_properties_t;
    Message_handle RAW(16);
    User_prop_array SYS.AQ$_JMS_USERPROPARRAY;
    Agent SYS.AQ$_AGENT;
    Header SYS.AQ$_JMS_HEADER;
    Message SYS.AQ$_JMS_TEXT_MESSAGE;
    Message_text VARCHAR2(100);
    BEGIN
    Agent := SYS.AQ$_AGENT('',NULL,0);
    User_prop_array := SYS.AQ$_JMS_USERPROPARRAY();
    Header := SYS.AQ$_JMS_HEADER( Agent, '', 'aq1', '', '', '', User_prop_array);
    Message_text := 'Message 1 from PL/SQL';
    Message := SYS.AQ$_JMS_TEXT_MESSAGE(Header, LENGTH(Message_text), Message_text, NULL);
    DBMS_AQ.ENQUEUE(queue_name => 'aq1.webapp_queue',
    Enqueue_options => enqueue_options,
    Message_properties => message_properties,
    Payload => message,
    Msgid => message_handle);
    COMMIT;

    I have developed a set of extension functions,
    in design time for the previous version, I can put the deployment file (jar file) that contains the extension functions in the %JDEV_HOME%\jdev\lib\ext directory and jdeveloper recognizes the set of extension functions if previously i have defined an xml descriptor with every one of the functions i need to include in the panel.
    Now, with the jdeveloper 11g i have tried the same, and jdev recognizes the functions, but when I am going to test one transformation that includes the extension function, the parser is not founding the jar file; the error (in spanish) is:

    my dude is:
    + at design time, where can I put the jars with extension functions to make one transformation function used in a mediator component can works fine?
    + at runtime, where can I put those libraries? (in the previous version, we can put this libraries in the %APP_SERVER%\j2ee\home\applib, or create one shared library and reference it in the oracle.bpel.common shared library declaration of the server.xml configuration file).

  • SOA 11g and OSB

    Hi Guru's
    is there any way where SOA 11ga nd OSB can share same Weblogic install or we need to install them seperately
    Regards
    Sahil

    Hi Sahil,
    You have to upgarde your SOA suite 11g to PS2 (11.1.1.3), to extend it's domain for accomodating Oracle Service Bus. You can extend any of the following existing domains:
    Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.3 domain
    Oracle SOA Suite 11.1.1.3.0 domain
    Oracle Service Bus 11.1.1.3.0 domain
    More information, regarding installation is here -

    Hi Gurus,
    I have recently started working on SOA 11g and I tried to install it in my machine.. Everything got installed fine without an error.

  • Deployment Queries related to Quartz Scheduler for SOA 11g???

    Dear All,
    We are using Quartz Scheduler for SOA 11g and have queries on its testing:
    1. Can we change the cron expression(say, previously cron expression was with the interval of 15 minutes every hour and we are changing it to 5 minutes every hour) in the scheduler table after we deployed the scheduler application? Should this require redeployment of Scheduler Application or the scheduler java class needs to be be run again to trigger the newly updated cron expression. Or, Will commiting the scheduler details table alone update the application to schedule for every 5 minutes in an hour?
    2. Also, if we are trying to schedule a new application(say, previously only 2 of our applications are scheduled and trying to add newly built application in the Scheduler table), will commiting the table alone will schedule the new application or require redeployment of Scheduler Application or the scheduler java class needs to be be run again?
    Please share your thoughts!
    Thanks in advance

    Were you able to control the frequency from the table. Can you please share the detials..

  • Cannot write reply email: help!

    When I click on "Reply" to a message, the content is blank and I cannot write in it whereas I could see the original message. This has happened the past couple of days.
    Also, when I tab from 'To:' to the message, the tab ends at the 'Signature' drop-down then nothing. I cannot write a reply not see the original message.
    Also, recently, I have been getting a message while viewing some emails that "the message has not been downloaded from the server. Take it online" when it is online. I have to create a new mailbox then drag all emails into it, deleting the old mailbox. Then I rebuild and can see the messages and function as normal.
    Please help and thanks.

    The main problem you mention is probably caused by some Launch Services cache or preferences corruption, but it looks like you could have some filesystem corruption as well, so be sure to verify/repair the disk with Disk Utility first (not just permissions), as described in the second article below.
    The following article describes how to manually reset Launch Services -- the notes at the bottom of the article also provide information about the side effects of deleting each of the files involved:
    Resetting Launch Services
    If you prefer using a cache cleaning utility instead of following the manual procedure described in the previous article, this other article provides links to some utilities that can be used for troubleshooting and cache cleaning:
    Resolving Disk, Permission, and Cache Corruption
    It seems that the most appropriate utility for solving this particular problem is Tiger Cache Cleaner, but you may also want to consider other utilities, such as OnyX, or Cache Out X, which are free. Whatever utility you choose, be sure to read this first:
    Side effects of System cache cleaning
    As an example, this is how you should proceed with OnyX:
    1. Quit all applications.
    2. Launch OnyX and enter your administrator password.
    3. Click Maintenance. In the Reset section, check LaunchServices database.
    4. You may uncheck any other pre-checked options if you wish.
    5. Click the Execute button.
    6. Restart the computer.

  • Cannot write review of purchased app

    When I click on the "write your review" on the AppStore page, it briefly shows turning circle and than reopens the original app page. It is pity I cannot write reviews, I thought this is the main help for other potential customers.

    Thanks for help, but unfortunately none of this worked. BTW : not sure if it is obvious from my original post, but I'm trying to write the review on my iPad. I tried several other apps I have and I cannot write review for any of them. Seems to be some bigger issue.

  • How to create JMS Queue in soa 11g?do we need to create jmsuser user in db

    Hi All,
    We r using SOA 11.1.1.3 version do we get jmsuser user while installing itself. we r unable to see this user. Can anyone suggest how to create a JMS queue in soa 11g.
    Thanks,
    RR

    Hi,
    Oracle SOA runs over weblogic application server 10.3.3
    If you want to create a JMS queue, then you have to create it on weblogic server. For creating a JMS queue, first of all create a JMS server on weblogic admin console (by default http://localhost:7001/console) (Services --> Messaging --> JMS Servers) and target it to a server/cluster as desired. Now create a JMS module (Services --> Messaging --> JMS Modules) and target it to same server/cluster.
    Now create a sub-deployment in JMS Module (Services --> Messaging --> JMS Modules --> Your JMS Module --> Subdeployments tab) and select the JMS server you created initially as a target of this subdeployment.
    Now create a connection factory in that JMS module and in advanced targetting select the subdeployment you created. Now create a JMS queue in the same JMS module and in subdeployment select the subdeployment you created.
    If you want to access this queue from an application then JMS URL should be like -
    jms://hostname:port/connFactoryJNDIName/QueueJNDIName
