Soa suite 11.1.1.4 & Grid 12C

Periodically in Grid 12C and Grid 11 we have got database soainfra workload and we have find it that this is becouse of very strange select SELECT COUNT(*) FROM CUBE_INSTANCE ci WHERE ci.COMPONENTTYPE = :1 AND ci.STATE IN (6, 10) and we receive about 20 selects like this in 1 minute. Had anyone this situation?

Hello Anuj,
Thanks for replay.
This is request from soainfra (JDBC Thin Client).

  • Service Registry 11g with SOA Suite 12c?

    Hello,
    I'm currently working on a project which requires SOA Suite and BPM 12.1.3 and databases 12c.
    Question 1 : I didn't find a Service Registry 12c release, is it included in another 12c middleware product or do I have to work with Oracle Service Registry 11gR1 PS 5 (11.1.1.6.0) and associated WLS 10.3.6?
    Question 2 : If I have to install OSR 11g, I noticed "Database Selection" screen only suggests Oracle 10g or 11g, is it possible to work with a 12c database and bypass a possible warning?
    Thank's
    Daniel

    Hi
    You still need to install the uddi seperate.
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/soa/uddi/index.html
    After installing it you will get a few urls where you can manage all your services.

  • Does OEM 12c supports for performing administration tasks on Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.5 environment ??

    Hello Everyone,
    I would like to start a discussion on the OEM 12c see if anyone has used for SOA Suite 10g. We are currently running on Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.5 we want to make use of OEM 12c for monitoring and perform administration activities. I have gone through some Oracle documents for OEM 12c,I found it's supported up to 10.1.3.4.However I am not so sure so I just wanted to clarify on this.
    Can we install the client in  Oracle Application Server/SOA OC4J  container to perform any administration task,purging,patching,monitor interfaces etc.
    I look forward to your valuable input and feedback on the discussion.
    Best Regards,

    Hi,
    The zip p6511843_101330_Generic.zip contains a README.txt which explains the steps to be followed to apply this patch.
    In the README.txt
    Refer to Section2 point No.1.
    Get the latest Opatch from metalink for bug 2617419.[this zip will contain a Opatch Directory].Extract this zip into your Oracle SOA home.[ex: C:/product/101.3.1/OracleAS_1]
    Also make sure that the Opatch directory in set in the path.
    Since we are running this Opatch on a Basic SOA installtion , you don't have to execute the changeNamesWindows.pl script[make sure that you have installed Basic version of SOA and not the Advanced].
    This patch will not work on Advanced Install.
    You can directly excute
    opatch apply.
    Follow the remaining steps mentioned in README.txt.
    Thanks

  • Soa suite 12c fault policy invokeWS action enqueue action resolveAndrecover: error in fault resolution:java.lang.NullPointerException

    Hi,
    I'm trying to use the new fault actions in Oracle SOA Suite 12c (12.1.3.0) invokeWS and enqueue.
    I've done the following:
    fault-policies.xml
    <faultName name="custom:MyFault" xmlns:custom="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Application1/Dummy/WebServiceB"
               path="SOA\WSDLs\dummybpelprocess_client_ep.wsdl">
        <condition>
            <action ref="default-enqueue"/>
        </condition>
    </faultName>
    <Action id="default-ws">
        <invokeWS uri="http://host:7003/soa-infra/services/default/WebServiceHandler/webservicehandlerbpel_client_ep?WSDL|webservicehandlerbpel_client_ep|WebServiceHandlerBPEL_pt"/>
        <!-- format - <Absolute wsdl path>|service name|port name -->
    </Action>
    <Action id="default-enqueue">
        <!-- enqueue uri="eis/aq/aqjmsuserDataSource"/ -->
        <enqueue uri="jdbc:oracle:thin:@host:1521:orcl#user/userpassword#USERQUEUE" />
        <!-- QueueURI format  - jdbc:oracle:thin:@<host>:<port>:<sid>#<un>/<pw>#queue -->
    </Action>
    Webservice Handler (which is the webservice to be invoked by the faultpolicy) is constructed 1-way pattern, 1 operation, 1 port and using the following schema:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <schema xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
            targetNamespace="http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/errorHandling"
            xmlns:tns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/errorHandling"
            elementFormDefault="qualified">
      <element name="RejectedMessage" type="tns:RejectedMessageType"/>
        <complexType name="RejectedMessageType">
            <sequence>
           <!-- base64 encoded strings" -->
              <element name="MessageHeader" type="string"/>
              <element name="MessagePayload" type="string"/>
              <element name="RejectionReason" type="string"/>
            </sequence>
          <attribute name="RejectionId" type="string"/>
        </complexType>
    </schema>
    The scenario is the following:
    Webservice A invokes WebService B
    Webservice B has defined a BusinessFault
    Webservice A has defined faultbindings using the faulpolicies from the previous snippet, for the reference of WebserviceB
    The BusinessFault is thrown by WebServiceB
    The fault policy is not able to neither enque or call the webservce to handle the businessexception
    A NullPointerException is shown in the logs
    The error is also present if enqueue os invokeWS are used in retryFailureAction of a retry action
    The error is only present for enqueue or invokeWS actions (I didn't try fileAction)
    Traditional actions (such as retry, humanintervention, temrinate) are working properly for businessfaults
    The error in logs is the following:

  • Is Oracle JDeveloper 12c Studio is an all-encompassing SOA suite?

    Hello,
    Need some clarification on this whole SOA puzzle.   Turns out there are more than one "current" version of Jdevelopers.
    Oracle SOA's latest release is 11g.   Jdeveloper Suite latest release is 12c.    When you download SOA Suite from OTN, you get 11g not 12c.
    So the question is, in order to learn latest of SOA suite and FMW,  which one should be downloaded?
    If 12c is not SOA suite than, is it supported when used with SOA suite 11g.
    Please advise.
    Darsh

    Hi Darsh,
    Oracle recommends you use the version of JDeveloper which correlates with the version of SOA Suite you are using. So if you just want to "learn the latest of SOA suite and FMW" I suggest downloading the 11.1.1.7 version of JDeveloper and SOA Suite.
    Event though there are later versions of JDeveloper they don't have the necessary SOA add ons required.
    Regards
    Riaan

  • Do we need both management Pack and ADP  for monitoring SOA suite 11g

    Hi,
    Do we need to Both management pack and ADP (OCAMM) Application Dependancy and Performance for monitoring SOA Suite 11g.
    I was creating a monitoring template for SOA Composite and SOA Infrastructure and wanted to know if I need to install additional ( management packs, ADP and Middleware Plugins ) packs to get an effective template.

    A management pack generally refers to the set of pages in EM Grid/Cloud Control which provide functionality for a given set of target types. Since EM Grid Control 11g, the ADP functionality has been part of the Grid Control release and the pages licensed via the Management Pack Plus for SOA or the SOA Management Pack EE.
    To populate the ADP pages with data, additional steps must be performed in order to deploy an ADP manager and ADP agents. Doing this is optional, depending on whether or not you require the additional capability that those pages provide.
    ADP data, however, are collected and stored separately from the core GC/CC metrics and are not related to the monitoring template functionality.

  • JDeveloper and SOA Suite Integration

    I have downloaded and installed two versions of JDeveloper 12c and 11.1.2.4.0 on my MacBook. Aim is to start developing applications for SOA Suite 11g, however I am unable to add support for SCA/SOA Suite via JDeveloper Updates.
    No options are displayed in the menu. Downloaded an offline ZIP file as well. It does not works.
    Is something wrong with Oracle ?
    Looking forward to a support on this.

    Hi,
    At current SOA Development is available only in JDeveloper R1, However in Future Oracle Will add this functionality to Oracle JDeveloper 12C. So to Develop SOA Based Applications use

    SOA Grid based XTP applications can be built today using what Oracle has already in shipping products. Oracle Coherence coupled with Oracle SOA Suite deliver the industry's first grid-enabled SOA platform for Extreme Transaction Processing.
    I couldn't find any documentation on actually hooking the two up, though. Does someone have a pointer to relevant info ?
    Thanks and Cheers, Christian.

    Hi,
    There are multiple options that you may consider:
    1. Expose your Java class as a WebService and invoke the WS from with BPEL
    2. Make your BPEL server part of the Coherence cluster (storage-disabled) and invoke the Java class from within Java Embedded activity or using ora:custom. Remember Java class will reside on the SOA Server.
    Hope this helps!
    Cheers,
    NJ

  • Error message deploying a composite in SOA Suite 11g

    Hello,
    We are attempting to deploy a composite to SOA Suite 11g (11.1.1.3). We're getting an 'Unable to register service' error message. When I inspect the log files I see the following entry as the first error:
    Failed to retrieve policy[[
    oracle.wsm.policyaccess.PolicyAccessException: WSM-06146 : Error deleting the attachment entries.
    Anybody have any experience with this error? The error message reference has the following listed:
    WSM-06146: Error deleting the attachment entries.
    Cause: Failure occurred while deleting the attachment entries.
    Action: Ensure that a valid list of policy subjects for deactivated lifecycle type is passed
    Level: 32
    Type: INCIDENT_ERROR
    Impact: Configuration
    I don't know how to "ensure that a valid list of policy subjects for deactivated lifecycle type is passed". Please help!!!!
    Thanks,
    jh

    This is what we have done :
    1.Created the JDBC data source & connection pool as below :
    data source name : B2BAQ , JNDI name : jdbc/B2BAQ
    Connection Pool :
    URL : taken from the tns entries of the instance
    Driver Class Name : oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver
    Tested this connection ..it works fine from the Admin Console
    2.Then go to Deployments --> AqAdapter -> Configuration tab --> Outbound Connection Pool Group -->
    Create a new connection pool instance -- General tab
    connection interface factory : javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory
    JNDI Name : eis/AQ/B2BAQ
    Then in Properties tab : Enter the Data Source Name : jdbc/B2BAQ
    Then we try to Start the AqAdapter from the Admin Console..it goes into Prepared status.
    The error message which comes is mentioned above.
    Is there any way we could resolve this ..that would be very helpful
