SOAP error message

Hi everybody,
I am facing a problem I am a little overstrained with. I made a web service for read only access of sales order data. After some struggle with the authorization, I now get a SOAP error message as response.
<CX_SOAP_CORE>
<E_LOCATION>
  <CLASS>CL_SRT_WSP_RT_CONFIG</CLASS>
  <METHOD>DETERMINE_OPERATION_NAME</METHOD>
  <ID>1</ID>
</E_LOCATION>
<E_TEXT>&lt;no error message available>: ("Message "SalesOrderViewNameReadByIDQuery_sync{http://sap.com/xi/SAPGlobal20/Global}" nicht unterstützt (Interface: "ZZBY002657_SALESORDER" Binding-Schl.: "0000000000011EE0B69046BD753F85D3")")</E_TEXT>
<E_ID>1033</E_ID>
<E_FAULT_LOCATION>1</E_FAULT_LOCATION>
<E_AREA>OTHERS</E_AREA>
<E_HOST>0</E_HOST>
<E_PROCESS_CONTROL></E_PROCESS_CONTROL>
</CX_SOAP_CORE>
I am not sure if the sales order Interface in general is not supported yet or just a missing query. I built the web service via wizard so in my opinion I donu2019t have to create a special query. Well, I hope so.
If somebody  can figure out the reason of the error. Please inform me.
Best Regards
Jochen

Hi,
so  here is a part of my WSDL:
Link: [https://gist.github.com/ea93c556a769639faaa9]
And the request:
<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope" xmlns:glob="http://sap.com/xi/SAPGlobal20/Global">
   <soap:Header/>
   <soap:Body>

         </SalesOrder>
      </glob:SalesOrderViewNameReadByIDQuery_sync>
   </soap:Body>
</soap:Envelope>
Thanks a lot. Best regards,

  • How can I get a SOAP Error message in ABAP ?

    Dear all.
    I'm trying to get SOAP Error message during XI Interface.
    I've got an Error ( T-code : sxi_monitor ) and I need to get the Error message and write to screen.
    I used
    CATCH CX_AI_APPLICATION_FAULT.
    CATCH CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT.
    but couldn't get the error message.
    The Error occured as below.

    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
      This is an application fault,
      error log clearly saying that''ORDER' does not exist in table 'ZTSD0030'.
      these are specific to interfaces, in order to handle those
    u need to configure apllication log at 'SLG1' t.code.
    i mean, u have to use following function moules to handle application log in ABAP Proxy .
    i.e
    APPL_LOG_WRITE_HEADER
    APPL_LOG_WRITE_MESSAGES
    APPL_LOG_WRITE_DB.
    warm regards
    mahesh.

  • How to XI error message will mapped to the SOAP faul message-SOAP(Axis)

    Hi,
      Receiver end I am using SOAP (Axis) adapter and I am getting the system error and I am not getting the payload in SXMB_MONI.
    What ever the error message how do MAP as a SOAP Fault message in SXMB_MONI.
    I found the Solution from OSS note 1039369 but did not explain where to set what parameter and what modules...
    SOAP Fault code
    If parameter Category is XIAdaptger, Area SOAP, Code FAULT
    In this case, parameters P1 and P2 may be set to the fault namespace and fault name. If these parameters are set, the SOAP fault code is set to namespace P1 and name P2. Otherwise, it is set as in other cases.
    For all other cases
    In this case, the SOAP fault code is set to namespace "http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" and name category.area.code, where category, area, code represent the XI error category, area, and code values, respectively.
    SOAP detail
    If parameter ApplicationFault is set
    The SOAP detail child is set to the XI application payload. If, however, the payload extraction mode is set to Envelope, the application payload is taken as the SOAP envelope and the SOAP detail content is set to its body content. Similarly, if the extraction mode is set to Body, the application payload is taken as the SOAP body and the SOAP detail content is set to its content.
    Otherwise
    No SOAP detail content is set in this case.
    Examples
      XI error element

  • SAAJ0537: Invalid Content-Type. Could be an error message instead of a SOAP

    Hi,
    At present i am using JCAPS version 5.1.1
    com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.SOAPExceptionImpl: Invalid Content-
    Type:text/html. Is this an error message instead of a SOAP response?
    I got above error message while invoking the webservice.
    My intention is to get HttpRequest from user and based on the input from user, a web service should be invoked. For this i am using BusinessProcess[einsight]
    In my BusinessProcess, i have HttpServer processRequest service,
    to receive HTTP requests and then i am passing the value of parameter received from http[As String] to next partner which is responsible for invoking a webservice.[Used a wsdl in client mode]
    I am able to get http request successfully , but i got error while invoking web service.
    Please let me know, what to do for rectifying error.

    Although this is an aged topic, this is plaguing our development efforts currently. I have successfully created a webservice that can be executed externally using the generated wsdl but I am unable to get a JCD to execute the WS without getting the following error:

    Is anybody else having this same error and how was it resolved? Both my client and server settings seems to be in sync. My only iffy piece is the servlet context. For both client and server external components, host, port, servlet context match. What am I missing??

    Hi All,
        We have a scenario of FTP-->PI---> Webservice.  While triggering the data in the FTP, it is failing in the PI with the below error
    SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/PARSING/ADAPTER.SOAP_EXCEPTION - soap fault: Server was unable to read request. ---> There is an error in XML document (1, 447). ---> Input string was not in a correct format.
    Can you please help?

    Hi Raja- It seems to be a data quality issue.
    Check for the value @ 1447 position in the xml message that you are trying to send to web service..
    may be a date filed/decimal value which is not in expected format.

    //oServerProdJob.setErrorMsg(sErrorMsg);
    } catch(Exception e) {
    sError += e.getMessage() + "\n";
    bOK = false;
    --- SNIP END -----
    The problem is that we don't get the error code and/or the error message from the Javascript in oIndsgnSrvRes. The error code is always 0 if I set an Integer value as return in the Javascript. If I set a String, there is an Exception in the Java application.
    Here is the Java script we use:
    --- SNIP BEGIN ---
    main();
    main()
    var sError = "";
    var sXMLInput = "";
    var sLayoutPath = "";
    // get the SDKCodeSnippetRunner object
    var cbpAdapter = app.cbpCbpadapterObject
    if (cbpAdapter) {
    sXMLInput=app.scriptArgs.get("xml-input");
    sLayoutOutputFile=app.scriptArgs.get("output-file");
    sError = cbpAdapter.doProcess(sXMLInput, sLayoutOutputFile);
    return sError; // This give an Exception; if I return an Integer the ScriptResult is always 0
    --- SNIP END -----
    If I try this with the test application from Adobe I get the error code correctly. But in the Java application, using SOAP, I can't get the error code.
    What could be wrong?
    Any ideas?
    Thanks a lot for the support.
    Kind regards
    Hans

  • SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/HTTP/ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPT

    Hi there,
    I am trying to publish a file from SAP as web service using XI and SOAP Adapter.
    I am using ABAP proxy to get the data into XI.
    Designing and Configuration in XI has no problems because when i use File adapter the data is trasmitted to FTP server.
    But when I used SOAP Reciever adapter I am getting following error in RWB
    Delivery of the message to the application using connection SOAP_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/HTTP/ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPTION - HTTP 500 Error during parsing of SOAP header.
    <b>Scenario</b>: SAP ABAP Proxy -> XI -> WebService. Asynchronous.

    Do not use SOAP Envelop is checked.
    <b>SOAP Action</b> http://sap.com/xi/WebService/soap1.1
    What i am missing here? How should I solve this problem?
    Any help is appreciated,
    Thx,
    Yogi

    Say there's a bapi/rfc that you want to call on an R/3 backend (e.g. 4.6c).  On it's own, the R/3 system cannot expose the rfc/bapi as a web service, but XI can.  So in this case, the scenario would be:
    WS client -> XI -> R/3
    When XI "exposes" a web service, it is exposing a service for a receiving system (in the above example, the R/3 system).  XI itself does not provide or contain the service implementation.  When XI exposes a web service, it is always done via the <b>sender</b> soap adapter (i.e. if soap adapter is used).   Receiver soap adapter is used to call or consume an actual web service from an external application.

  • SOAP : response message contains an error Application/UNKNOWN/APPLICATION_E

    Hi All,
    I am working in a Proxy to SOAP synchronous scenario. Message is processing successfully through IE but i am getting the below error in receiver (SOAP) communication channel.
    SOAP : response message contains an error Application/UNKNOWN/APPLICATION_ERROR.
    Please suggest what will be possible way out to resolve this issue.

    Dear Priya
    Have you configured Fault Message for this scenario.
    This kind of error is generally thrown by the end target system where the message is not processed succesfully due to some error in there system.

    Hi Raja- It seems to be a data quality issue.
    Check for the value @ 1447 position in the xml message that you are trying to send to web service..
    may be a date filed/decimal value which is not in expected format.

    When I send the same message using the WebServiceNavigator everything is working fine.
    The WSDL that I have imported into PI is the same that is available that I use calling by the WSNavigator.
    Anyone an Idea?
    Thanks Ron

    HI
    WSDL is having some problem
    When you imported this wsdl how many messages does it show. Check weather it is having SETCOMPANYFIELDVALUE request and response. you can check the messages carried in a wsdl using the messages tab in external definition.
    Thanks

  • A sample web service to return SOAP fault message for application error

    Hi,
    I need to test behavior of XI, in case of application error (using <detail> tag in soap:fault) from web service in nosoap mode.
    If any one is aware of a free web service, which can raise application soap fault message, Kindly provide the details.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Rahul..

    Hi,
    What is the URL to which you are posting the SOAP message?
    Is it?
    http://<host>:<j2ee-port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet? channel=<party>:<service>:<channel>
    If yes, then like mentioned the QOS is picked from the Sender SOAP adapter.
    But, if the URL is ,
    http://<server>:<ABAP-port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry&version=3.0&Sender.Service=<YourService>&Interface=<YourNamespace>%5E<YourInterface>
    Then you need to give the QOS as <b>,&QualityOfService=ExactlyOnce</b> appended to the above URL.

  • SOAP response message error

    Hi,
    We have a scenario where in we perform a synchronous send from a BPM and post the request to a url using a SOAP receiver channel.
    When we test the scenario,the message fails in PI with the following error "com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/HTTP/ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPTION - HTTP 500 Internal Server Error"But when we try to test the same in SOAPUI by using the same payload,we do not have any issues in getting the response back.
    Please could anyone advise on what could be the issue.

    Can you run a sniffer tool & see the actual reason for 401 unauthorized error? 6172 weblog: Troubleshooting SOAP, HTTP and Mail Adapter Scenarios with TCPGateway by Stefan Grube...
    Generally, 401 unauthorized is when the target system rejects the request...  Also, What type of authentication does the target webservice have.?? B'cos i ran into a similar problem with Ms-Webservice. (they were using NTLM authentication). It works from a browser but not from PI. So we installed SOAP-AXIS adapter to support NTLM based authentication.
