SOAP Exception with proxy client

Hello gurus!, this time i have a problem consuming a several webservice, the specific operation it's goods receipt for purchase order (transaction MB01) using movement type 101 (Goods receipt for purchase order into warehouse/stores), we generate a record instance using SM35 over MB01 and then we develop a RFC for massive goods receipt.
Later we expose this RFC as a webservice and then we deployed tise webservice using a enterprise service bus, the problem came when we configure a proxy consumer on SAP for this specific operation, so when we process a call using 3000 items (using serial number) it all works perfect, but when we try to receipt 5000 items or more we always get a SOAP exception:
[SOAP exception|http://img402.imageshack.us/i/soap1.png/]
Web service configuration not yet initialized (specific to operation)
Testing the same escenario using another consumer client, SOAPUI the operation call using 5000 items is success.
So concerning to the SOAP exception there is some configuration paramater missing on the WSDL definition on SAP when we create the webservice or the problem is a configuration parameter of the SAP proxy consumer?

It seems that the 'running' directory for the public API program must be:
<OWB_HOME_DIRECTORY>/bin/admin
Otherwise it might not be able to find some of the files necessary for execution.

Igor

• Troubleshooting SOAP Call with ABAP Client Proxy

Hello,
we want to make a synchronous call to a web service from ABAP via HTTP / SOAP. The third party system provides a WSDL which we have used to create a client proxy in ABAP.
The request call works fine, but we do not get any SOAP response.
The question now is which monitoring / debugging capabilties are recommended on the SAP system to track down the problem? Which transactions and monitoring functionalities should I use?
Thank you very much for your advise!

Hi Prasad,
Here is an example of each one... notice the difference between the Username elements in each of the requests:
qualified -
<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:ver="http://somenamespace">
<soapenv:Header/>
<soapenv:Body>
<ver:GetUserRequest>
<ver:IdmRequestContext>
<ver:UserName></ver:UserName>
</ver:IdmRequestContext>
</ver:GetUserRequest>
</soapenv:Body>
</soapenv:Envelope>
unqualified -
<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:ver="http://somenamespace">
<soapenv:Header/>
<soapenv:Body>
<ver:GetUserRequest>
<ver:IdmRequestContext>
<UserName></UserName>
</ver:IdmRequestContext>
</ver:GetUserRequest>
</soapenv:Body>
</soapenv:Envelope>
If you have the option of the WSDL definition changing that attribute to unqualified then it should start working immediately. If that is not an option then your ABAP mapping needs to handle the namespace insertion into the XML. I achieved this in my requirement by using a graphical mapping instead because I imported the WSDL as an external definition and mapped my proxy 1:1 to each element in the external definition.

• "SOAP:Fault" in scenario with ABAP proxy client

Hello,
I realized the scenario CRM40_Basis620(ABAP proxy client)->XI->File.
XI:
The sender communication channel is a XI adapter (Parameters: HTTP 1.0, XI 3.0, Integration Server, Security profile unchecked, Security level - HTTP).
CRM:
The proxy generation is ok.
SLDCHECK is ok.
All RFC destinations are ok.
APPINT_200_620 for CRM was installed and configured well (I think so, but...).
When I ran the ABAP proxy client on CRM, sxmb_moni(CRM) returned the text for the XML Message (Display-CallIntegrationServer-Payloads-TraceDocument):

Hi Roman
There is no need for an XI adapter for client proxy.... we only use that for server proxies.

Hi Jani,
Thanks for your reply.
I am new to webservices and we are trying to do a POC on invoking FinancialUtilService using HTTP proxy client. I am following steps mentioned in attached pdf section "Invoking FinancialUtil Service using Web Service Proxy Client". I have imported certificate using below command.

FinancialUtilService financialUtilService= financialUtilService_Service.getFinancialUtilServiceSoapHttpPort(securityFeature);
// Get the request context to set the outgoing addressing properties
WSBindingProvider wsbp = (WSBindingProvider)financialUtilService;

wsbp.setOutboundHeaders( new StringHeader(WS_ADDR_VER.messageIDTag, uuid), replyTo.createHeader(WS_ADDR_VER.replyToTag));
wsbp.getRequestContext().put(WSBindingProvider.USERNAME_PROPERTY, "fin_user1");

Hi,
Proxies communicate with the XI server by means of native SOAP calls over HTTP .RFC does not, so you have to convert from SOAP to RFC calls and vice versa. So XML conversion is required.
ABAP Proxies uses Webservice and Http Protocols. And if you use RFC it is mainly meant for Sync. call. But Proxies is used for both Sync and Async.
If you use ABAP Proxy , you can reduce the overhead calling the function again and again.

Re: JDBC Sender select/update problem
If u generate proxy for outbound interface then its client proxy and for inbound interface its server proxy.
In client proxy u can call the method to send messages but u can't modify it but in server proxy its possible to write a user code within the method to execute proxy.
CLIENT PROXY:
A WSDL description from a UDDI server (or an Internet page) is usually used to make a service executable in the Internet and to describe the interface of this service. You require a client proxy and not a server proxy to call this service by using the Web service infrastructure.
SERVER PROXY:
You can only generate ABAP server proxies from a WSDL description if they originate in the Integration Repository.You can also generate server proxies for Java and client proxies for ABAP from message interfaces.

• PI - Proxy processing An exception with the type CX_SY_CONVERSION_NO_NUMBER

Hi All,
We have PI sync scenario,SOAP to Proxy.
We are geeting the below error in Proxy .
Error during proxy processing An exception with the type CX_SY_CONVERSION_NO_NUMBER occurred, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause The argument ' 1,000.000' cannot be interpreted as a number.
But when the same data got updated in Proxy.Not sure about the root cause of the error.
Regards,
Arun

Hi ,
It looks like proxy is not able to convert string to number or the format of number is incorrect. This is only possible reason of this exception.
The argument ' 1,000.000' cannot be interpreted as a number.
Check out if the format is correct.. .

• JAX-WS client - WebLogic - SSL with proxy server

Good night!
I'm having trouble communicating with webservices using certificate authentication (weblogic.wsee.jaxws.sslclient.PersistentSSLInfo) through and going through a proxy server (weblogic.wsee.jaxws.proxy.ClientProxyFeature) .
If communication with the webservice is done directly (no proxy server) everything happens perfectly, but to set the proxy server I get the exception "BAD_CERTIFICATE." it is as if the certificate was not attached in the request.
The webservice client was generated by JDeveloper.
Has anyone experienced this problem?
Sorry for my bad english
Exception
javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: javax.net.ssl.SSLKeyException: FATAL Alert:BAD_CERTIFICATE - A corrupt or unuseable certificate was received.

I don't know if this matter but my java version is:
java version "1.8.0_31"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_31-b13)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.31-b07, mixed mode)
Any ideas or am I missing something completely?
Thanks
Andy

Hi, Andy. Please excuse my ignorance, I am very new at this ME embedded stuff. I had my challenges, but was finally able to get my board up with a static address. I went through a lot of headaches, but finally got the board flashed with the latest bin. I then updated the jwc_properties.ini file on the SD card to include:
# Whether static configuration or DHCP server is used do get IP address. Possible values: dhcp,static
ip.method = static
# IP address,used with static IP configuration only
ip.addr = 192.168.0.30
# Network mask,used with static IP configuration only
ip.netmask = 255.255.255.0
# Network gateway,used with static IP configuration only
ip.gateway = 192.168.0.1
# DNS server,used with static IP configuration only
ip.dns = 208.67.222.222
# MAC address
mac.addr = 01:02:03:04:05:06
I was then put the card into the board, disconnected both USB cables, and then powered it up. From that point I was able to ping the board. I can now use Device Manager in NetBeans to connect to the device.
I am struggling quite a bit with many issues. It seems that when I try to stop the app from NetBeans, the "please wait" dialog hangs forever. I have to use Windows Task Manager to kill the "JavaW" process tree and reconnect the board.
I have also had trouble understanding the GPIO pin assignments. Another gotcha was trying to use the AutoStart feature. Since the sample app never cleanly exited, I thought that I bricked the board. The secret is to power it down, remove the SD card, and then delete all files EXCEPT the jwc_properties.ini file, put the SD card back in, then power up. It seems that the board forgets that the MIDlet was installed.
Hope this helps others out there.
Please everybody, post your experiences here. There seem to be very few of us, and finding pearls in the dust is rare right now.
Regards,
Pete

• Throwing Client Soap Exceptions

I am writing j2ee web services and would like to throw Client soap exceptions when a input validation error occurs. Currently I can throw a soap exception and have the msg= be set to what I would like. I cannot set the faultCode to what I would like.
An example of the kind of errors I am generating.
SOAPException: faultCode=SOAP-ENV:Server; msg=Input SSN is not valid.]
An exmpale of the kind of error I would like to generate.
SOAPException: faultCode=SOAP-ENV:Client; msg=Input SSN is not valid.]
Thank you,
David Schwartz

Hi ,
The client does not have a hook on the SOAP Fault(or for that matter , the SOAP message ).It only receives the marshalled java objects from the proxy.
You might hack the generated proxy code , and hack further into the Response objects , and the Fault object to create your customized fault .

• SOAP to Abap Proxy with attachment

Hi Experts,
i am facing one problem while developing one interface from SOAP to ABAP Proxy with attachment.
the sender system is sending empty soap message but with all its content in the attachment.
we need to parse the attachment and send the data to ECC system through proxy.
we made some research on SDN and found out that in sender soap adapter PayloadSwapBean is not supported.
however in receiver XI adapter the module tab is not editable.
could you suggest any solution to handle this interface?
thanks in advance.

Hi Aditya,
Can you just try to use SOAP with Servlet(Axis) protocol, since standard SOAP sender does not allow modules to be used.
please refer http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/45/a39e244b030063e10000000a11466f/frameset.htm
The first attachment is put in the main payload; further attachments become attachments of the XI message.

• Ora 24960 exception with VC9 and Oracle 11g - 11.1.0.6.0 client

Hi,
We have developed a OCCI client application using 10g express edition and visual studio 2003. It was working fine. Now we have migrated to 11g (11.1.0.6.0) client with visual studio 2008. VC version 9. We have migrated all .dll and .lib files based on oracles following link.
http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/oci/occi/occidownloads.html
Now while trying to make connection it's throwing ORA 24960 exception. (the attribute OCI_ATTR_USERNAME is greater than the maximum allowable length of 255)
but the attribute length is very less.
connection = env->createConnection (oraUser,OraPass,conne);
Anybody can help immediately please?

Hi,
Are you compiling in debug mode and using the Instant Client SDK by chance? If so, I suggest taking a look at My Oracle Support Note:747933.1 (ORA-24960 Error When Trying to Connect in Debug Mode With OCCI Instant Client). Essentially the issue is that the OCCI files included with Instant Client SDK do not include the oraocci11d.lib library.

• SRT Framework exception: The WSDL document is not compatible with proxy

hello,
I'd like to create a logical port to my web service but when I create this type of error:
SRT Framework exception: The WSDL document is not compatible with proxy class "YAIRPORT_CO_AIRPORT_SOAP": "Unsupported Operation (s): getAirportInformationByISOCountryCode, getAirportInformationByAirportCode, getAirportInforma
someone has an idea?
thank you

Hi,
Most probably your class YAIRPORT_CO_AIRPORT_SOAP was't automatically generated by SAP from the .wsdl file. If so, then you have to generate it from this file and then create the logical port. For this purpose, go to se80, display the function group there you want to add the class, right-click it and choose Create -> Web Service. Then on the following screens choose Service Consumer, Local File and specify the .wsdl file for the web service you want to use. Finally specify a Package, Prefix and Transport Request, activate the changes and you're done. Now you can create the Logical Port.
Hope this helps,
Greg
