SOAP request - Altova XMLSpy

Hi experts,
We have created a web service through B1if environment.
We have created the tstin.xml:
<?xml version='1.0' encoding="UTF-8"?>
<AddBP xmlns:bfa="urn:com.sap.b1i.bizprocessor:bizatoms" xmlns="http://tempuri.org/">
  <CardCode>C123456</CardCode>
  <CardName>myNewBP</CardName>
  <CardType>C</CardType>
  <PhoneNum>49/63452632-323</PhoneNum>
  <Email>[email protected]</Email>
  <Address>My Home 25</Address>
  <WebSite>www.ich.de</WebSite>
</AddBP>
which we have assigned as inbound in our process.
Our web service works properly through B1if and creates the declared Business Partner in SAP Business One.
As a next step, we tried to call the specific web service via Altova XMLSpy - SOAP request.
We call the url of the wsdl file and the following code returns:
<SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:SOAP-ENC="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
  <SOAP-ENV:Body>
  <m:AddBP xmlns:m="http://tempuri.org/">
  <m:CardCode>String</m:CardCode>
  <m:CardName>String</m:CardName>
  <m:CardType>String</m:CardType>
  <m:PhoneNum>String</m:PhoneNum>
  <m:Email>String</m:Email>
  <m:Address>String</m:Address>
  <m:WebSite>String</m:WebSite>
  </m:AddBP>
  </SOAP-ENV:Body>
</SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
When we Send Request to Server, we get the following message:
Attached you can find the wsdl file we have created.
Can you please advice on how we can proceed?
Kind regards,
Vassilis Korolis

Hi experts,
We finally managed to solve the issue by changing the Authentication in Package Design module of the B1if environment, from"User Authentication (sap.B1Mobile)" to "No Authentication"
Kind regards,
Vassilis Korolis

    Hi,
    Check whether your payload message which you are passing in HTTP Client tool is correct or not, try to copy the payload from Integration Repository while testing your mapping program.
    Also check the Integration Engine Configuration runtime parameters,
    Open Transaction SXMB_ADM -> Integration Engine Configuration -> Change Specific Configuration
    Check the values of below given parameters for runtime category, these values must be maintained:
    LOGGING, LOGGING_SYNC, LOGGING_PROPAGATION, TRACE_LEVEL and TRACE_LEVEL_PROPAGATION.
    Look into this thread ... it seems something similar with your problem.
    Payload of SOAP-Message cannot be read Try these solutions.

    hi,
    try using XML spy
    http://www.altova.com/products/xmlspy/xml_editor.html
    it's free for 30 days or so
    or you can also use:
    WebServiceStudio 2.0
    http://www.gotdotnet.com/Community/UserSamples/Details.aspx?SampleGuid=65a1d4ea-0f7a-41bd-8494-e916ebc4159c
    they will work for sure:)

  • Error sending soap request

    Hello!
    I created a simple web service (jax-ws) using NetBeans 5.5 and deployed the web service to the Sun Application Server 9. The integrated function of NetBeans for testing web services works fine. I can also access the wsdl through the internet browser. But a soap request using Altova XMLSpy 2007 fails. The error message states: cannot find dispatch method. But I did exactly the same steps on another machine where the soap request works.
    Any ideas?

    Partially solved. For unknown reasons the soap request is not generated correctly on this machine when using XmlSpy. I just copied the soap request generated by the NetBeans web service test function to XmlSpy and sent it to the server. Works fine.

  • Calling SOAP Request from XML Spy

    I have published PLSQL web service at Oracle 10g AS.
    The web service runs at http://localhost:7201/reqProcess with processRequest as method being exposed.
    This web service takes the string as input and return XMLTYPE as out parameter.
    Now When I am trying to pass SOAP XML from XMLSPY to above url I am getting folloing errors.
    1) I get http error: couldnot post the file /reqProcess/ on server 'localhost' (500)
    2) I get SOAP Error as

    Please help..

    Hi Quwang ur help needed
    My requirement ...
    1) PLSQL as web service : I succesffuly deployed PLSQL Procedure as Web service at 10 10g. The PLSQL takes string (CLOB) as input convert that into XML and store in table and return XMLTYPE as output.
    When I am accesing PLSQL WS using browser I am able to send string (basically XML format) as a input and able to receive the result back (SOAP envelop)
    2)WS Invocation : After PLSQL WS published I need to pass the SOAP XML which is generated from XYX wsdl file to the PLSQL WS published above. For this req I was using XML Spy to test this. (In actual the clinet will be Sieble that will send SOAP XML to PLSQL WS).
    Initially I was generating the SOAP XML from XYZ.wsdl and was directly sending that to PLSQL URL. I was getting error as I described initially.
    Next I tried to generate the SOAP request from the PLSQL WS wsdl file and inside the parameter I am sending the SOAP XML as string to the IN paramater of PLSQL WS. This time I am getting some different errors. The first error is same as http error: couldnot post the file /balprocess/balprocess/operation?processRequest on server 'localhost' (500)
    and second error is SOAP fault as follows
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">

  • Web Service operation not in SOAP request

    Hi There,
    I have a problem with the SOAP receiver adapter.
    I have created an external definition and uploaded a wsdl file. Several messages have been created out of the file.
    In my mapping I fill the message structure from the wsdl file. When I send the message to the Web Service I get an error back.
    The reason for this error seam to be a missing tag under the SOAP:Body element. Because when I create a SOAP request with the XMLSPY, it looks like this:
    <SOAP:Body>
      <m:setVendor xmlns:m="http://..." ...>
        <ns8:v xmlns:ns8="http://...">
    But in the message from the XI adapter the <m:setVendor..> tag is missing:
    <SOAP:Body>
      <ns8:v xmlns:ns8="http://...">
    This m: tag seems to be the operation of the web service.
    Has anybody an Idea how to solve this?
    Is the error in the SOAP adapter or in the message definition?
    By the way, can I display the complete SOAP message that has been sent out from the adapter with any XI tool (including SOAP header)?
    BR,
    Jürgen

    Jurgen
    I have exactly the same problem in a RFC -> RFC Adapter -> XI -> SOAP Adapter -> Web Service scenario.
    What we see is that the external vendor wants the SOAP to be in "documet-literal wrapped" whereas XI is returning is as "document literal".
    **I don't want to change the original wsdl file because it was provided by our business partner and a modification could cause problems when release update.
    But I have build a workaround with an XSL stylesheet as a second mapping step in my Interface Mapping. The stylesheet adds the missing operation tag into the XML message.**
    Even in our case we dont want to change wsdl, the operation & soap body are going as two parts we want the soap body in operation,i think  this can be achieved by xsl stylesheet,Can u please brief us about xsl stylesheet as a second mapping step in interface maping.I dint work on xsl before......
    Advance thanx for ur help

    Hi Prasad, thank you.
      Niall Guerin wrote me a message in which he explained that some of my XI components are inconsistently patched. I will verify and correct that.
      Thanks again.
      Ivan
    <i>Hi Ivan,
    Thanks for the patch level information above. Your components are not
    up to date.
    As you can see the following XI AFW components are inconsistently
    patched:
    sap.com SAP-XIAFC 3.0 SP12
    sap.com SAP_XIAF 3.0 SP17
    ALL XI components MUST be on the same patch level. This means:
    XIAFC, XIAF, and XITOOLS must all be on SP17. The same goes for the
    ABAP stack. Basis must be on SP17 and so must your J2EE Engine. With
    XI, ALL patch levels must be consistent as a prerequisite. Please
    refer to attached note: 750511.
    In addition, it looks like you've got a PCK deployed on the XI host
    as well? A PCK cannot co-exist with an XI installation, so please
    ensure you did not do this and undeploy it if it was installed on top
    of the XI host.
    Please patch the XI Java components correctly and then reproduce the
    SOAP Adapter problem after sending a soap request to the adapter.

    Hi Ricardo ,
    I have the correct port now.
    the url looks like
    http://<host>:50000/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:SIEBEL_DEV:SOAP_CUST
    when I am testing it in the XML spy. and send a soap server request. I am getting the popup for user authentication . once i put my user id it gives me a error saying
    <b>HTTP operation 'POST' could not be performed on URL
    '/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:SIEBEL_DEV:SOAP_CUST&amp;version=3.0&amp;Sender.Service=SIEBEL_DEV&amp;Interface=http%3A%2F%2FOFCOM%2FUNIFY%2FCustomerMaster%5EMI_CUST'  due to an error :
    The connection to the server was terminated abnormally</b>
    Any Idea as to why is such a error is coming
    Thanks for the help

  • Using a SOAP request to initiate an ESB flow

    I'm currently attempting to use the Oracle ESB as a pure routing engine for a project at work. Heres the basic way to works:
    1. We get a SOAP request from a third party
    2. We transform that request into a canonical format (via xslt)
    3. Inside that canonical format there will be an ID
    4. We look up that ID in a database and resolve an IP address from it
    5. We then use the canonical message to invoke a named web service on a SOAP server living at that IP
    So my questions are two fold really:
    Firstly, is it possible to fire off an ESB flow via a SOAP web service call? So far it seems (to me) that i can only initiate processes [flows - sorry im used to BPEL!] via an adapters (files, AQ, JMS, etc) and not from a raw SOAP request. It seems the SOAP object is an ESB object and not an incoming/outgoing adapter
    and
    Secondly, is it possible to make a database call/query and then use the result of that to intelligently route my canonical data to a specific SOAP server dynamically?
    I know i can do this in BPEL with little trouble but im trying see if its also plausible via ESB so i can leverage the performance and management benefits that come bundled with it.
    Any help would be great as i seem to be banging my head against a wall slightly!
    Thanks in advance,
    Ian Harrigan

    Thanks for the reply.
    Would it be possible to use an IP address (obtained from a database query) to dynamically call a web service of the same name but on different servers?
    Ie, if the incoming message has an ID attribute within it of, say, 10 then a request is made to server1, however if the ID is 11 then it goes to server2 and so on and so forth.
    I know this would be possible using a static filter but, unfortunately, that would mean that every time a new ID/Server combination is added to the database a new version of the ESB would have to be deployed which isn't feasible.
    Essentially i would need a single ESB and simply update the database with additional data and logic inside the ESB would send SOAP requests to a entirely new IP address
    Thanks again,
    Ian
