SOAP wdsl generation problem j developer

hi im having a problem with wsdl file generated from jdeveloper.
I expose a pl/sql function as a web service. I can then conect to the soap url with a web browser and sucessfull publish data to the db from this , but if i take the wsdl file from jdeveloper in to a soap test client (magoo) i get an error, on anything that trys to post data back to the DB ???
the error is
No Deserializer found to deserialize a ':emp' using encoding style 'http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/'.
im not using BPEL (which i know has some soap problems)
THIS IS THE SOAP MESSAGE THE WSDL FILE GENERATES
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:m='MyWebService-v9' xmlns:xsi='http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance' xmlns:ns1='http://oadev11/Company.xsd' xmlns:xsd='http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema' xmlns:soapenv='http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/'>
<soapenv:Body soapenv:encodingStyle='http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/'>
<m:addemp>
<emp>
<eid xsi:type='xsd:int'>7</eid>
<efirstname xsi:type='xsd:string'>mr</efirstname>
<elastname xsi:type='xsd:string'>magoo</elastname>

<state xsi:type='xsd:string'>uk</state>
<zip xsi:type='xsd:string'>so</zip>
</addr>
<salary xsi:type='xsd:double'>1000</salary>
</emp>
</m:addemp>
</soapenv:Body>
</soapenv:Envelope>
this returns an error,
No Deserializer found to deserialize a ':emp' using encoding style 'http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/'.
ive tested the client with the googlesearchapi wsdl file, so the client is working ok, I think there might be a problem with the wsdl file generation. can anyone sugest what this might be?
conecting directly to the soap service url and submitting xml suggested by the interface, adds the entry to the databse and works fine
<emp xmlns:ns1="http://oadev11/Company.xsd"
xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:type="ns1:oadev11_EmployeeUser">
<eid xsi:type="xsd:int">7</eid>
<efirstname xsi:type="xsd:string">MR</efirstname>
<elastname xsi:type="xsd:string">MAGGO</elastname>
<addr xsi:type="ns1:oadev11_AddressUser">
<street xsi:type="xsd:string">Granby grove</street>
<city xsi:type="xsd:string">southampton</city>
<state xsi:type="xsd:string">uk</state>
<zip xsi:type="xsd:string">SO</zip>
</addr>
<salary xsi:type="xsd:double">1000</salary>
</emp>
This sucessfuly ads the entry to the databse any ideas please?

Hi,
Action parameter is always under Opertaion tag of your wsdl. In your case it is
Action = rpc/http://siebel.com/CustomUI:ATDDQMatchWS
<operation name="ATDDQMatchWS">
<soap:operation soapAction="rpc/http://siebel.com/CustomUI:ATDDQMatchWS"/>
<input>
<soap:body use="literal" namespace="http://siebel.com/CustomUI"/>
</input>
<output>
<soap:body use="literal" namespace="http://siebel.com/CustomUI"/>
</output>
</operation>
It looks to me you are trying to invoke RC encoded webservice which is not supported in XI.
Reward points if find useful
Thanks

  • Problem Installing Developer Suite on WIndows Vista

I don't know what to do, i've tryed setting the compatibility mode to windows XP, runnig as administrator, changing the performance configuration of my computer and nothing. Please help me to install the program!

  • Problem with develop module

    I have LR 5.4 running on a mac OS 10.7.5. I am having problems with the software locking up in the Develop module. Sometimes a new image won't open and the preview screen stays black. I go back to the Library module and try to reneter the Develop module and get an error message saying there was an error trying to open the module. The entire LR screen is gray. I have to quit LR and restart the software to continue. I downloaded my software from Abobe and I was wondering if I can download a new version again and use my same serial number to reinstall the software.

    Hi Rodney,
    No custom print templates and this is a relatively new problem. It just
    started about a week ago. I have been using the software steady for months
    now. It did it once or twice last week but this weekend and today it has done
    it about six times so it seems the problem is getting worse. That¹s why I
    think the software may have been corrupted. I didn¹t keep a copy of the
    software I downloaded so I can¹t reinstall. That¹s why I was wondering if I
    could download it again and use the same serial number as before. I have only
    loaded the latest version on my desktop. I also have LR 4 still installed on
    my laptop and desktop. I have a big project to complete and this is really
    slowing me down.

    Do you have any custom print templates? That might be the case, it was an
    issue at one time. Delete them and try using one of the default presets.

  • Report generation problems on the WinNT target machine

    I'm using report generation VI's to generate a standard report, mixed with text and graphs.
    In development mode (LV 6.0.2; Win-NT 4.0 SP6)there are no problems to print it. As soon as I make an application (application builder 6.0) and transfer it to the target machine (Win-NT 4.0 SP6; run time engine 6.0.2) I get an error -2147352567 unable to load picture..to Append front panel image to report.vi> If I delete the VI "Append front panel image to report.vi", I can print the text of my report without problems. Do you have any idea?

    I could fix the bug in the meantime. I had installed an older version of the Internet Explorer. When I updated the target PC to Internet Explorer Vers. 5.5, there are no problems anymore. I think it must be a problem of ActivX.

  • Problems while developing a Perl client

    Hi,
    I am trying to interface to the OCWS using SOAP through Perl.
    Here is the code:
    #!/usr/bin/perl
    use strict;
    use LWP::UserAgent;
    use HTTP::Request;
    my $ua = LWP::UserAgent->new(env_proxy => 1, keep_alive => 1, timeout => 30, );
    my $data_to_send;#-- And build a string of it
    open(SOAPREQ,"soap_req.soap");
    while(<SOAPREQ>) {
    $data_to_send = "$data_to_send$_";
    print "Sending :\n$data_to_send\n";
    #-- Create the Request Object and send the data
    my $response =
    $ua->request(HTTP::Request->new('POST', 'http://development-10.cc.uic.edu/ocws-bin/ocas.fcgi',
    HTTP::Headers->new('Content-Type' => 'text/xml', 'SOAPAction' => 'http://www.oracle.com/WebServices/Calen\
    daring/1.0/'), $data_to_send));
    #-- Print the response
    print $response->as_string;
    Note that I have my SOAP payload in the soap_req.soap file. This is a simple Ping command. Here is the listing:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <soap:Body>
    <cwsl:Ping xmlns:cwsl=
    "http://www.oracle.com/WebServices/Calendaring/1.0/">
    </cwsl:Ping>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    But, this doesn't seem to work. (I realise that I have not set the Content-Length SOAP header in the Perl code. If this could be the source of the problem, would someone please tell me whether the Content-Length includes the length of the headers also or just the payload).
    The listing for the response in SOAP indicates a "method name not supported error". Here is the listing for the response:

  • SOAP API integration problem with OIM 11g R1

    Hi,
    We're facing a problem when we are attempting to provision for a third party Web Service application in OIM 11g R1.
    During development and test running in an IDE environment, JDeveloper, the soap wsdl requests are triggered and a response is received successfully. However, when we shift the work and integrate it with OIM using design console, there seems to be an error indicating an invalid wsdl location. We have used the super class Exception, in try-catch block for handling of the exceptions. Please see the log message.

    Hi Kevin,
    Thanks a lot for the response. But, when i deployed the composite SAR in to the server from Jdeveloper, i checked the option to "Overwrite any existing composite with same revision ID". SO, i used the same revision ID (Say 1.0), will this also need to be disabled?
    Thanks,

  • Stub generation problem with the wsdl file

    Hi all
    I'm trying to write a simle webservice client based on JAX. My webservice is working fine I've tested it with a standalone app. In my webservice I'm using complex type. Problem is that i can't generate properly stubs. This is a msg I'm getting during the generation
    warning: ignoring operation "getEmployee": message part does not refer to a schema element declaration
    warning: Port "EmployeeIFPort" does not contain any usable operationsBecause of that my method to get the Object from the webservice is not generated.
    This is the wsdl file.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

    </definitions>However the complex type class Employee is generated properly as well as other stub classes like the interface EmployeeIF, EmployeeIF_getEmployee_RequestStruct and EmployeeIF_getEmployee_ResponseStruct (I mean i think they are generated properly). As I said befor the problem is that the webservice method from the EmployeeIF.getEmployee() is not generated in the EmployeeIF_Stub. Any ideas why? I'm using WTK 2.5
    thx in advance :)

    Here i Followed  Url &sap-user=XXX&sap-password=YYY to the WSDL-URL with XXX and YYY being your username and password and you will be authenticated.
    Later i Struck. Actual my requirement is I have two views i want to take a value from the first view and then return value displayed in the second view. All input/output parameters are the taken from the WSDL file. Can you please Help me.

  • Namespace prefix in SOAP Elements causes problems in XI

    Hi guys,
    I'm using code generated by NW Developer Studio for use inside Portal components acting as a web service consumer. The problem is that the code generated includes a namespace prefix for each element in the body of the message, but XI doesn't like the namespace prefixes and throws back a DeliveryException.
    The SOAP message created by the generated NWDS code is:
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:wn3="http://www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema" xmlns:wn2="http://www.w3.org/2000/10/XMLSchema" xmlns:wn1="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:wn0="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:wn4="http://allieddomecq.com/poc" xmlns:tns="http://allieddomecq.com/poc">
         <SOAP-ENV:Body>
              <wn4:PortalSOAP_MT_Request>
                   <wn4:CustomerIdentifier>0001000064</wn4:CustomerIdentifier>
                   <wn4:SalesOrganization>ES50</wn4:SalesOrganization>
                   <wn4:SystemIdentifier>R3D</wn4:SystemIdentifier>
              </wn4:PortalSOAP_MT_Request>
         </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    The problem is the "wn4" prefixes on the CustomerIdentifier, SalesOrganization, and SystemIdentifier tags. When we send the soap request from XML Spy without the prefixes, the response comes back OK with the expected data.
    I've had a very good look around the generated code - the serializers for creating the soap request - but could not find what exactly might be changed to leave off the prefixes.
    Alternatively, is there something I could ask our XI consultant to do, to make his component accept the request with the redundant prefixes in the tags?
    Many thanks for any advice/help,
    Laura

    Hi Laura,
    you have to realize that the two documents
    <ns:CustomerRecord xmlns:ns="http://company.com">
    <ns:CustomerNumber> </ns:CustomerNumber>
    <ns:CustomerDetails> </ns:CustomerDetails>
    </ns:CustomerRecord>
    and
    <ns:CustomerRecord xmlns:ns="http://company.com">
    <CustomerNumber> </CustomerNumber>
    <CustomerDetails> </CustomerDetails>
    </ns:CustomerRecord>
    from an XMl point of view have totally fifferent structure. Thus, a mapping which is able to deal with the first structure will fail for the second and vice versa.
    Surely, both structures somehow can carry the same information, but they do this with different languages (Maybe you can compare this to the fact, that you may deliver the same information in English or in German language).
    When you model the structure in Integration Repository using datatypes and message types (what I think you did), you will always get a structure that looks like the second one. This is just a convention (like the convention that all information in this forum should be presented in English). When defining a message mapping for this structure it also relies on this fact and thus will not understand the other kind of document.
    External Definitions are more flexible. They are also able to understand structures that are modelled the other way. This greater flexibility is due to the fact that External Definitions were designed to understand structures that come from an external world where different conventionts might be used.
    To come to a conclusion: If the structure you have to deal with has been defined externally then it is not intended that you model it inside the Integration Builder using datatypes and message types. In this case the external source should provide a description of the message as XSD, WSDL, or DTD. You upload this as External Definition, and everything works fine.
    If you have designed the structure yourself, you can model it with datatypes and message types. But then you will always get a structure which looks like the second one. In this case you should make sure that all other participants in the game also stick to that structure. Then everything will be fine, too.
    Greetings Stephan

  • SOAP over JMS Problem

    Any ideas? Thanks!

    Above all, really thank you for your precious help.
    I thought about resolving the problem with JMS because it was studied to resolve asynchronous message delivery, which is what I'm trying to achieve.
    So, I think I'll try the second solution you indicated. Let's see if I understood:
    1- my customer decides to send some messages he wants to send [to better understand, I'll call them SMS] through the interface I developed
    2- a new JMS Message is created
    3- a MDB wake up and performs the initial steps to connect throught native calls
    4- new MDB wake up and, using the connection, send created SMS
    5- another process use the connection to read the StatusInd and create a new JMS Message to describe the message status
    My implementation doubt is that I must send a lot of SMS (around 4000 SMS in one action), so, in pass 4, should I create 4000 MDB instances? It should be a clean implementation, maybe this way I could use also correlation id/replyto headers in passage 5, but I would it waste many resources?
    And, also, how can I implement the "native calls"? Is there a way to create a class that support this proprietary protocol?
    And what about creating the connections with the server? Should I use java.net.socket?
    Really thank you,
    Andrea
    P.S.
    I'll look for implementing it using Arjuna+JBoss ;)

    If you use HttpsURLConnection for this, it will work on java 1.4.1, but not on prior releases. It will (as far as I can tell from experiment) use the time that the server provides for Keep-Alive.

  • UIX dynamic image generation problem under SUSE Linux

    Hi,
    we have developed an application with UIX 2.1.14 under Windows 2000, and everything works fine when we run the application on the local OC4J.
    But after deploying the .war file to our production system under SUSE Linux SLES-7 and 9iAS Rel.2, the dynamic image generation doesn't work correctly:
    One strange thing we noticed is that rendering works fine when we use ground colours like #00FF00, #FF0000 and so on. But not when we use colours like #3172ba. We have tried this with XVFB, VNC and with "headless" JDK 1.4 (with java option -Djava.awt.headless=true in opmn.xml).
    Any ideas? Or possible reasons why image generation works using colours like #FF0000 and why not with colours like #3172BA?

  • Problem on developing SSRS report in a production environment

    Any problem could  be caused if have to develop SSRS report in a production environment ?
    If so, how it can be prevented?
    Thanks!

    Hi ,
    As per my understanding, Normally our environment setup contains Development,testing,preproduction,production and its varies from company to company.
    We develop SSRS report in development environment and after testing we deploy it to production report server.
    Development environment use development database for creating report like your database IP and credential will use development environment
    setup. and production environment use production database for creating report like your database IP and credential will use production environment setup.
    Thanks

  • IPod Touch 8gb First Generation Problem

    Dear Apple Discussions:
    I just recently acquired a iPod Touch 1st Generation from Ebay.com on May 3rd 2010. Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180501743808&ssPageName=STRK: MEWNX:IT ~~~>And it just arrived here today, 5/8/2010. My ultimate problem is that it won't turn on. I've tried the button "trick" but with no success. I've scanned the internet and nothing can be found. I'm not sure of its been Jailbroken. This is my first Apple iPod Touch. I also have a Apple iPod Nano 5th generation. The 5th generation iPod Nano from Apple.com is recognizable in iTunes but when I go to connect the iPod Touch 1st generation 8gb from Ebay.com it doesn't connect at all. The iPod Touch is completely unresponsive to anything that I do. Any help at all would be tremendously appreciated.
    -Branden Hunter (ShadowKissedDhampir)

    What I mean't for the "button trick" was:
    If you found your ipod touch is 'dead', ie won't turn on, holding the power button (top right on
    Ipod) does nothing, your comp doesn't even recognise it, iTunes also - then you might need to do the following :
    1) Start your iTunes and connect your iPod touch to your comp.
    2) Keep holding the POWER button (top right) together with the HOME button (centre, bellow the ipod screen) for about 10 seconds. You should hear a sound(s)..
    Release the POWER button ONLY, keep holding the HOME button, you will again hear some sounds.
    3) If you did it correctly iTunes will tell you that it has detected an iPhone or iPod touch in recovery mode.
    You should be able to re-sync all your previous ipod content from there...
    Sorry, if this was already posted somewhere here, but I just recovered my ipod after searching the net, so wanted to share it..
    I did donload and re-isntall the latest Itunes before I did the above, so try that if the above doesn't work the 1st time out..

    I think I'll try what you said now. Thanks much :)!~ Sincerely, Branden

  • Nano 2nd Generation, Problems with Songs ???

    Hello, I have transfered songs from my iTunes to my Nano and there is 2 songs that play for couple of seconds than just stops and goes to the next song. Weird thing is when i go to play the song directly from iTunes it plays normally. I have also downloaded the songs to my Ipod Video 30gb and the same exact songs play normal with no problems. ?????? I just dont understand whats wrong. I have even did the 5 R's and restored my Nano and still the same problems with just those 2 songs. I could just go without those 2 songs but, it just makes me curious to why it works in iTunes and on my Ipod Video 30gb, but not on the Nano. If you have had this problem before or know of a solution your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You for taking the time to read this...
    Ipod Nano 2nd Generation   Other OS   Windows Vista

    I have this exact same problem, but after doing the 5 R's it is now cutting songs short that didn't have that problem before. Unlike Junz, I can't live with random songs being cut off. I am very interested in an answer as well.
