Software Recommendation Required

Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me find the right software...
I have a MIDI keyboard connected to my Mac, I want to be able to trigger sounds from the keyboard. Basically 'rewire' the keyboard so each key triggers my own sound file

What if anything are you using at present. Firefox employs whatever you have installed. If you have a genuine copy of MS XP have you opted to use MicroSoft Security Essentials [http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/ MSE] which is currently free, and effectively part of your normal Operating Sytem installation. Firefox would then for instance use MSE when scanning downloads. [[Unable to download or save files#w_disable-virus-scanning-in-firefox-preferences|(unless disabled)]]
Obviously there are many alternative systems and Anti Virus programs, some are also free, however MSE has features akin to what is found on fully paid for domestic/home use security suites.

I am currently on Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and my macbook Air 1.1 will not go up to Mountain Lion. The Lion software update 10.7 is no longer available from the store or downloads.
Where do I get this?
It was only released a couple of months ago.
I really feel disinfranchised already by not being able to upgrade and keep up with other software needs but to not allow me to update to my full capacity is really ridiculous.

While I love my BlackBerry Curve phone (and will most likely never go back to a phone running Windows Mobile OS), something that drives me absolutely crazy is the inability of the Desktop Manager software to monitor my activity in the Outlook client and autosync changes while my phone is connected via USB.

Is there any windows security software that may block itunes inadvertently?

you should be able to find the SCA files in service market place using these component name.
Interesting to know why would you migrate from 7.0 to 7.1? or you just want to PoC? I don't think SAP will you support you unless you have made a very good deal with them.
I also heard the version of web channel will bring some really good feature though it's still based on NW 7.0 with ehp, are you going to "migrate" it once again?

I am trying to view the footage shot in DVCproHD. I can hear people talking, but all I can see is a black screen.
When I try to open a clip, I get the message "additional software is required for QuickTime to playback this media. It may be available from the QuickTime Components page."
When I click on "continue," it takes me to a page with 11 different components listed, but no hint as to which component will help me view the .mov files.
Any idea what additional software I need to view these Hi Def files?

A friend of mine let me know that for $80 I could get 'Calibrated{Q} XD Decode'. That software requires Mac intel -- but I have access to such a machine in my office so I am good to go. Thanks to everyone who tried to help me.

If you are running Lion then you cannot run PPC software. Your computer would have to be capable of being booted by Snow Leopard in order to run PPC software. Or consider upgrading your PPC software or buying replacement software that works with Lion.

Additional software is required...

I am trying to play a .mov movie I had on a mac mini on my macbook. I have Qt 7.2 on both machines. The movie plays fine on the mac mini but I get a "additional software is required..." message when I try to play it on the Macbook. Do I need to download one of the QT plugins from the apple website?

Ensure that you have two and for now only two installed (by you that is, not Apple) codecs - Flip4mac ( the free one) and Perian V1.0 (free) and that generally solves 95% of the issues like this. Expunge DivX, XVid, 3ivX , Casio etc., once you have Perian.

InDesign folio builder software update required

I recently downloaded the English version of InDesign from Adobe Creative Cloud. I created an article. I opened the folio builder. The software update required popped up. I updated the required software. When I tried using the folio builder afterwards, the same icon message appears. What can I do to solve the problem?
