Sold Item Returned. Reason: "ATTEMPTED - NOT KNOWN"

I sold an item in mid-May. The buyer paid promptly. I noticed that the shipping address on the eBay auction norification was different from the shipping address in his PayPal account. I sent an email asking which of the addresses to use. No response. I created an eBay/Canada Post label with the eBay address. I sent an email telling him that the parcel had been shipped. No response. The parcel was returned to me on June 27 with a sticker sayingRETURN TO SENDERATTEMPTED - NOT KNOWNUNABLE TO FORWARDRETURN TO SENDER I sent an email to the member asking what is going on. No response. This email is a gmail account. In his PayPal account he has a different email (Yahoo). I tried that, but was kicked back as it was no longer valid. The buyer has not left any feedback in my account, even though it has been almost 6 weeks since the auction and he doesn't yet have the item he bought. I would definitely like to re-ship to him although, as the initial auction was free shipping, he would have to pay for this second shipment up-front. The only problem is making contact. Suggestions?

To the best of my understanding, as a seller, you are obligated to use the paypal address as this is the one in which your Seller Protection covers. At least, this is what was told to me the last time it happened. With the best of intentions, it seems you may have made a misstep.  Best to call ebay for 'official' advice now. It's a bit of a minefield from here. The error was yours though (see above) you can't ask him to pay for shipping if you resend it.  Good luck as you carry forward.

    You cannot get much help on general design questions. Before you even start with building Oracle Forms, you should have a functional and technical design.
    From the technical design you create the tables, and only then can you start building forms.
    If you cannot make the design yourself, somebody in your company will have to make it for you. We don't know your application or anything else about your company.

    Issue : In sharepoint 2013, I am experiening below error while using filter in the list view due to the number of items in this list exceeds the list view threshold, which is 10000 items. Tasks that cause excessive server load (such as those

  • Multiple Line item proposal in SAP based on return reason for Material Serv

    Hi,
    I have a requirement in which the customer returns the faulty material for repair, the company does the inspection of the material and sends the faulty material to the External vendors for Repairing.
    External Vendor after repairing sends the material back to the company, which is then returned back to the customer.
    I want to understand , is it possible in SAP to have a sales document created with different line items (One for the material returned from the customer, one for the Material to be send to the external vendor for repairing , and one for the material to be returned back to customer after repairing)
    Is it possible to have this proposal automatically based on return reason in SAP ?

    Hi Harsh,
    I think you are trying to amalgamate 3 processes which is quite ambitious by all means :). However in my past experience we have been able to track these articles but playing around using the standards. Customer return was a process through which an article was brought in a seperate storage location for repair and was sent out for repair using sub contracting process, after repair it was again sent out to the customer with the sales process. Of course there were quite a few physical processes that were needed to support this. We started to think but than refrained ourselves from using batches and serial numbers for this.

  • Transfer Billing document to accounting, Error: 'Object not known in COu2019

    Hi all,
    I have created an acquisition contract and subsequently created a billing document in CRM but when I try and transfer this to accounting, the system displays error message IAOM028 u2013 u2018Object not known in COu2019.  My account assignment category on the contract is EROBJ u2013Profitability Segment CO-PA, however I have tried creating acquisition contracts with other account assignments but the same error occurs, even though the controlling object exists in SAP ERP. Iu2019ve searched the SAP notes and I did see note 683886, but this affected release 4 and we are working with release 7. Any help or advice in resolving this error would be much appreciated.
    Alternatively how do I mark the item category as not relevant to CO? For now itu2019s not imperative that I post to a controlling object? The SAP help portal refers to selecting (or in my case deselecting) the Service setting in the Assign BW/CO fieldu2019 but I canu2019t find this field on the item category. Any advice again would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello,
    The reason might be the transfer error, is due to the incomplete distribution of the order/contract to R/3 account assignment table IAOM_EXT_OBJ_INF.
    For your invoice, check entry for document number/item number. It might be missing and if so, system shows error message as you mentioned.
    If entries are missing, then the order/contracts need to be re-distributed to R/3, so that the entries are created for these missing items in the IAOM tables. The transfer process then will complete missing entries successfully.
    To re-distribute to R/3, the respective document needs to be save after making a change in the document. Unless there is a change in the document, the re-distribution will not happen.
    I hope this information may helpful to solve your issue.

  • An Average of a Count erroneously returns integers and not decimals

    I have a table which holds sales information showing the invoice number and the branch (e.g. 'New York', 'Boston', etc..)  that sold the items. Each row represents a product on an invoice. I am trying to find out the average number of lines per invoice
    for each branch. So my final result set might tell me that the 'New York' invoices had an average of 2.4 lines per invoice and the 'Boston' invoices had an average of 1.9 lines per invoice. Like this:
    New York, 2.4
    Boston, 1.9
    I've first written a subquery that counts the number of lines for each BRANCH & INVOICE combination for any date after 1/1/2015. Then I've put a query around that subquery which averages this count by Branch. The problem is, the entire query is only
    returning integers and not decimals. Why is this?
    Note that I tried casting the data type to DECIMAL and FLOAT but still get the same results.

    ATTENTION!! RECEIVED FRAUDULENT EMAIL PRETENDING TO BE APPLE!! I received an email informing of a purchase made on my account and telling me to change my password if did not purchase the item, which I had not. I have received valid emails from Apple in the past asking letting me know a purchase had been made and asking if I had made the purchase, but the item listed has alway been a purchase that I had made. Since I had received similar emails in the past, I didn't think anything of it. Because I had not purchased the item listed, I immediately clicked on the link in order to change my password, which has been suggested in authentic emails i had received from Apple in the past. The site I was redirected to was exactly the same as the Apple site where you go to change your password. I entered my userID and password and it stated a verification email would be sent, if it was not sent click "resend email." When I did not receive an email, after about 10 seconds I went to the Apple site and followed the SAME EXACT step on pages that were IDENTICAL to the FRAUDULENT website I apparently had just been at. When I clicked "Send verification email," I DID receive an email within seconds, which had a special link that brought me to a page where I could change my password, which I did. I later compared a legitimate email to the FRAUDULENT email and I DID FIND A DIFFERENCE, BUT IT WAS ALMOST UNNOTICEABLE unless you were really, really looking.  I doubt it would be noticed by anyone if not comparing it closely to a real email. THE DIFFERENCE WAS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE AUTHENTIC EMAIL, THERE WERE THREE LINKS THAT COULD BE SELECTED - My Apple ID/Support/Privacy Policy. ON THE FRAUDULENT EMAIL THESE LINKS WERE NOT PRESENT!!! Just today I received an email from Apple stating my password had been changed today. I did not change my password today. When I changed after getting the fake email, I did not think about my SECURITY QUESTIONS!!! If you forget your Apple password, you are able to answer the security questions in place of your ID and you get a confirmation email. Even though I changed my password within a one minute when I did not get a confirmation email with a link to change my password right away and I went dierctly to Apple's site, apparently it was enough time to take all the information on my account - INCLUDING MY DEBIT CARD NUMBER, WHICH HAD BEEN REQUIRED WHEN I INITIALLY SET UP THE ACCOUNT!!! Today I received a call from VISA FRAUD PROTECTION asking about strange activity on my account and stating they were concerned and wanted to ensure I had used the account. I HAD NOT, AND ALL THE MONEY IN MY BANK ACCOUNT HAD BEEN STOLEN!!!!! I am writing this in hopes that many people will see it and NOT FALL VICTIM TO THIS SCAM. Please pay close attention to any emails you supposedly receive from Apple - If the links "MY APPLE ID/SUPPORT/PRIVACY POLICY," PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME IT IS AN AUTHENTIC EMAIL FROM APPLE. I suggest you immediately forward the email to apple, which I didn't do because this happened days ago. Nothing was taken from my money that was already on the Apple account, and nothing had been taken from my checking account. I guess I assumed there had been something wrong with the link in the email directing me to where I could change my password, plus I had gone to the valid Apple website and changed my password for real, and I guess I was thinking that changing my password would prevent someone from being able to acces my account info. PLEASE DO NOT FALL VICTIM TO THIS SCAM AS I DID!!!!

    No need for alarm. There are several folks a day posting like threads. Most folks know these phishing attempts for what they are and merely delete with prejudice.
    To the bottom line... if you wish - and I am sure Apple will take notice - you should FORWARD the email to [email protected] and delete.

    Now, I'm trying to create a return order with reference to this sales order.
    I got this error message: Item category RENN is not defined for this item.
    I've checked in VOV4 : the combination Sales document type + Itemcategory group =>Itemcategory seems to be correct.
    Why am I getting this error message then ?

    Check item level copy control settings between Sales order free of charge and Return sales order i.e copy control settings between free of charge order item category and returns order itemcategory.
    Once again check item category determination through VOV4 transaction for the combination of
    Your returns order document type+Itemcategory group-->RENN.

  • BPM_DATA_COLLECTION fails with (Output device "" not known) error

    Hi all,
    I have an issue with Output BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_1 job in the satellite system  failing with 'Output device "" not known error.  Since it is collecting data for Solution Manager system why does is it trying to find an output device.
    It did not fail before and now I added another key figure (custom one) which is done the same way the other custom monitors are done in "Z_BPM_ECU_COLLECTOR" report and then in /SSA/EXM program, but the collector job started to fail.
    Also, for some reason there are two BPM_DATA_COLLECTION jobs, one is BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_1 and the other is BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_2.  _1 runs every 5 min and _2 is less frequent. They both seem to runt the same job which is /SSA/EXS. Why are there two jobs scheduled from solution manager in my satellite system?

    I am experiencing this same issue in our ECC 6.0 system.  We currently have ST-A/PI release 01M_ECC600 level 0001 applied to our system.  These jobs finish successfully in SM37, but I'm seeing the same error messages in our system logs (SM21).
    When I try to update the output device that is associated with these jobs, the user ID running the jobs is not valid since it's user type is Communication Data.
    Does anyone know if it ok to change the user for this job? Should it be run by DDIC?  I believe the jobs were created automatically when we applied ST-A/PI release 01M_ECC600 level 0001.

  • STATUS_READ & line item rejection reason - too complex

    Hi All,
      I have to trigger an output to a smartform via an output routine. I have to do the following checks in my output routine before I decide to propose the output or decline to propose the output if conditions fail.
    1. Order header can have status PEND, Hold, Release. IF the status has changed to anything else except pending, i should propose output.
    2. Again if a line item is rejected with certain reason code, then also I have to propose the output.
      Both the above conditions must be checked before proposing the output. My issue is how do I know what was the old value of status and rejection reason.
    I tried using FM STATUS_READ, but it does not give something like this was the old value and this is the new value. I do not find any FM to get item rejection reason. Do I have to use change documents for these.
    examples
    a)Order with 2 Framing Configurable Line Items.  The user status of the order is changed from PEND to QAHD.  The standard order output label is proposed for both line items on the order.  At a later time, one of the line items is rejected for reason 90 (for example).  At that time a new label is created, just for that specific line item – with the rejected artwork text on the label. 
      In this case if I use STATUS_READ, i will get active status as QAHD, so I will try to propose normal output so I am fine. Later when the item is rejected, I will again get staus as QAHD and I will propose output for one unrejected item which is WRONG. I had already proposed the output in past, so I should not. I should only propose output for the rejected item.
    b)Order with 2 Framing Configurable Line Items.  The user status of the order is still in a PEND status.  The user changes one of the line items to a rejected for reason 91 (for example).  A label is printed just for that line item with the rejected artwork text on the label.  At a later time, the user status on the order is changed from PEND to QARD.  A label will print, only for the unrejected line item and the label is the standard order output label for HJ.
      In this case I do not know where to get the old rejection reason of item. If I do a database select, I will get current rejection reason 91, but how do I know if I had already proposed the output or not for a certain item.
    c)Another scenario to think about is that there is nothing preventing the user from setting a rejection status on an item and changing the user status at the same time and saving it.  In that case we would want only one label per piece (the rejected label for the rejected item and the standard label for the non-rejected item).
      I think I have to check the time order was updated and do something like that.

  • Order Reason ABC not defined for Order Type Retrun order

    Hi
    I am getting following " Message no. V1 899 " when i am  doing return order without refernce .
    Order reason is defined in customization but still we are getting the following message " Message no. V1 899 " /Order Reason E18 not defined for Order Type ZEF9.
    Can any one help me

    Hi Kiran
    As you have created sales order with document type ZEF9 but you have not taken any reference document then go to VOV8 and select ZEF9 and maintain  the order reason feild and then do the process

    I try to execute SWU3 for automatic customizing workflow on ECC 6.0.
    I have got error Output device "" not known and no background job is executing in my system .
    This error I am getting for this activities
    Schedule Background Job for Missed Deadlines
    Schedule Background Job for Work Items with Errors
    Schedule Background Job for Condition Evaluation
    Schedule Background Job for Deadline Monitoring
    I search in other topic, it mention that basis guy do something bot not clear how to solve it.

    Yes I do have authorization for execute SWU3. My user ID have same authorization as sap*.
    WF-Batch User Exist, RFC for workflow localXXX also set.
    From thread : Error activating  SWU3 -   output device "" unknown
    I see this issue solve by basis, they adding some parameters to start and instance profile.
    But I have no idea which parameters.
