[SOLVED] PEAK PCAN-Dongle - macro "__DATE__"

Hi all.
I'm trying to install the PEAKs PCAN-USB drivers.
I'm getting both time and data macro errors:

macro "__TIME__" might prevent reproducible builds
The compiler output is:

There were none -Werror flags in any of the make files, and i've removed -Wall from the make files, just to see, both the sammer error occurs.
I have no idea why this is :S
I found a post with similar error messages (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=180922), but seemd not to be usefull for this problem

Hi,
Today I hit the exactly same problem when I tried to use PCAN-USB on arch. I could work around this by adding "-Wno-error=date-time" to _CFLAGS in the Makefile. Alternatively you can use the RT_CFLAGS environment variable which is used by the Makefile. However, this work around works only for PCAN-USB driver since only this Makefile uses the RT_CFLAGS I guess...
make RT_CFLAGS="-Wno-error=date-time"

Solver is an AddIn that is not installed in a typical Excel installation. If you attempt to run it from the menu, it will prompt that it needs to be installed. This could be what is causing this error. Run the Solver from the menu and check that it is able to run manually.
After that, check the parameters carefully to make sure that you are not giving the Solver a bad cell reference or an invalid parameter.

  • Code to get the all Records in Work Book

    Hi,
I have a Report to show on work book, Now I am used REFERENCE to get the data.
In Work book i have used formula for one cell and i draged that to few rows(for example 100).
    Here my problem
If i get below 100 records there is no problem, if it exceds 100 i won't get the records.
some times I get in my result <b>REFF #</b>
to solve this problems any macro code or any other solution?
cause my report is dynamic report some times it give 1000 records some times 100, it should be automatically .
i know dragging the cell poor quality of coding.
any code which help my problem will be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Priya

    Hi Priya,
I do not understand the problem.  Please show the formula you are using.
Does the REF# problem occur when you first put the formula in the cells, or only after the query is refreshed?
If the former, you have an Excel problem.  If the latter, the problem is that BW will delete the old query result table before it inserts the new query result table, and the REF# means that the reference cells were deleted.  In this case, the solution is simple and a simple macro will fix the problem for you.
I can help you if I understand which problem you are having.

  • Adding 2 columns in BEX

    Hi friends,
i have a requirement to add 2 columns in a query, i know there are some posts regarding this issues but i did not found any suitable answer for this, this will be solved by using some macros in BEX, can any one pls send coding for that.
    points will be awarded,
    thanks,
    pavan,

    >i need to add two char info objects in query please tell me >how?pls gurus solve my problem.
If the object exists in the data provider then, there is nothing you really need to do except to drag and drop them in the column. But if the objects are not in the data provider and you need to add some logic to it, then you need to create some calculated key figure or Restricted Key figure or Formula to put your logic in and if it is CKF or RKF then drop it in the column section. Everything depends on the availability of the InfoObject in the data provider.
    thanks.

  • Can I use Word for Mac 2004 to write basic solver/Macros programs?

I just bought the new macbook aluminum unibody. I am in college and am taking computer programming in fall, I need to be able to write basic programs that utilize macros and solver. I spoke with one mac person who told me I would need to buy parallels, the microsoft OS and then microsoft word for Microsoft OS.
However, that costs upwards of 200$ for a class I am only going to be taking for 2 months. Someone else has told me that the 2004 version of Word for Mac has macros abilities on it (those that are not on the current version, but that the 2011 version will have). Can I just use the 2004 version? Or does anyone have other suggestions?

Office 2004 and Other Applications Don't Work in Lion/Mountain Lion
If you have Office 2004 which is a PPC-only suite, it will not work in Lion/Mountain Lion. You need to upgrade to Office 2011 - Mactopia - or you can try the freeware suite, Libre Office, that is functionally similar to Office 2007 for Windows except it works on Lion/Mountain Lion.
You may want to consider as well:
These two suites are similar to Libre Office but not as current or as well-supported:
    NeoOffice
    Open Office
And, then there is Apple's iWork suite:
Pages - word processing and layout
    Keynote - presentation
    Numbers - spreadsheet
Each can open and save Office compatible files. They may be purchased separately via the Mac App Store for $19.99 each.
As for other software, any PPC-based software will not run in Lion or Mountain Lion because Rosetta is no longer part of OS X. You will need to upgrade to Intel versions of the software.
(Access to the Mac App Store requires Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or higher and an Apple ID.)

  • Cannot run the macro SOLVER.XLAM!MainEx error message

Ive had this problem for awhile but am now needing to use solver for my schoolwork.
Anytime i try to use the solver function under the data tab this error message pops up.
I have tried taking off and readding the add-in under options.
when i try to access solver in the visual basic panel it asks for a password which i have never set
Im running excel 2013 on windows 7
I have tried many things and am exhausted. No solution has been posted to this problem on the site or anywhere on the web
THIS IS NOT WHEN IM TYPING MACRO CODE IN VBA. its just when i try to use solver for simple spreadsheet calculations.
when i click solver i get the error cannot run module: SolverCode
when i try to access the solver code in vba a password is required

    Hi,
As far as I know,  the Solver add-in code has the password by design, it is protected on purpose and copyrighted. They are designed for use from the spreadsheet only.
Then, as the error message:" Cannot run the macro SOLVER.XLAM!MainEx error message." Please try to do the following methods to fix the issue:
    1. Open VBE (Alt+F11)>Click Tools> References>set to SOLVER>Show immediate code pane (Ctrl+G)>Copy/paste (or write): application.run "solver.xlam!auto_open"
    2. Disable the other Excel add-ins, such as
    Adobe PDFMaker.
    3. Repair Office 2013.

  • [SOLVED?] Problem with multi key macros in emacs

I recently made the switch from gentoo to arch, for the most part everything is up and working. The only thing I am having a problem with is GNU emacs, for some reason i can't use some macros that need more than 2 keys to be pressed. For example M-< will not work but for some reason C-_ will. I haven't got the faintest clue as to what the problem is. I am running xfce and using the us keyboard layout. If i run emacs outside of X than all the macros work fine. Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.

seeing as this problem persists in both the terminal and gui versions i don't think that is possible. I also tried running both versions in twm to see if anything was different. The keys still aren't seen correctly but this time they are replaced with random characters that are not part of my keymap. An X11 problem or keyboard configuration problem?

    Hi
Thanks for the advice above. Initially cleaned off original app
I removed the software application from Mac HD/Applications/Orange Mobile Partner
The kernel extension located at Mac HD/System/Library/Extensions/HuaweiDataCardDriver.kext
The modem script located at Mac HD/Library/Modem Scripts/HUAWEI Mobile Connect – 3G Modem
Then dragged the Orange MobilePartner file to the HD, selected 'Show Package Contents' and followed the advice above opening the .mpkg.
Was about to try and return the dongle, but now after several tests, am sure it works

  • Peak Time Issues & Unable to Speedtest

Over the past few months I have had issues with my broadband sync and speed so much so that I complained and have been dealing with the exec level tech team in Newcastle. Who seem to think they have solved my issues but clearly have not...
Although my router is syncing at 7008kbs, on a night from say 6pm-8am my speeds drop right down to 2/3 meg and and at somepoints even unable to surf at all. I have a samknows ofcom monitoring unit on my line that shows my line is so up and down and how bad the BT DNS servers are, but even that is not unable to log test at peak times due to the poor service.
To make matters worst when I try and do a BTspeedtest, it says that both my phone number or my service id (got this from BTW when I had issues) are not authorised to do any test. I have been having issues on and off now from mid Feb, and its starting to really hack me off!!
If anyone can suggest anything I am fed up of going around and around with the tech team in Newcastle and BTW..
    My stats:
    Mode: G.DMT
    Channel: Interleave
    Trellis: ON
    Line Status: No Defect
    Training Status: Showtime
    Down / Up
    SNR (dB): 6.6 20.0
    Attn(dB): 44.0  23.5
    Pwr(dBm): 19.8 12.3
    Max(Kbps): 7552 1080
    Rate (Kbps): 7008 448
    Mode: G.DMTChannel: InterleaveTrellis: ONLine Status: No DefectTraining Status: Showtime Down UpSNR (dB): 6.6 20.0Attn(dB): 44.0 23.5Pwr(dBm): 19.8 12.3Max(Kbps): 7552 1080Rate (Kbps): 7008 448

Thanks for the reply, yeah my sync stays solid the snr goes down a little to about 5.9/6 but I keep the sync its just the throughput. ELC gave me a pin to use if I need to call them and an email, but they said the issue before was a VP issue which has now been resolved. I sent them my sam knows stats card from the monitoring unit that shows how up and down my throughput is but they said unless my sync drops this is normal for an "adaptive line" and it sucks because I can not do any speedtest..
Also the BT speedtester says that my phone number is not autorised to do a test and my BBIP service id number is not valid?
I have just done a speedtest now via speedtest.net that said my throughput was 5864 ( which is about right for a IP profile of 6000) but later its faster to download using my mifi dongle lol
any suggesttions would be most helpful

  • Help needed in Macro

    Hello Experts,
I am creating a macro, where the requirement is; user would select few columns of a KF & hit on a macro.
The values in the KF should get multiplied by 2.
Any clue how should I add ( *2) functionality in operation / function ?. Any other suggestion is welcomed.
    Please help
    Regards
    Rahul Chitte

    Hi Rahul,
You can set the macro to run for few period.
    1)  In the step of the macro, select the period you want to run
    2) Within the step, Results row (Key figure row 'XXX") = Key figure row 'XXX" * 2 (remember to maintain a space between * and 2)
    3) Check the macro for any error, which would help you for any inconsistencies
    4) activate the macro to test your requirement.
hope this would solve your requirment.

  • Word templates with Macros

    Dear all,
I have a couple of Word templates (in document libraries) that should have the filename and page count on the footer of the front page. It seams there is an issue with Word that these do not automatically update (MS kb 832897).
    I am using word 2010, 64 bits.
This is solved with a Macro.
When placing the word with macro template in SharePoint, SP blocks it and the macros are not ran.
Any one with experience on this?
    Thanks in advance.
    Gonçalo

It is not possible to run a macro in SharePoint after the document has been uploaded.
You can replicate this scenario by creating a SPItemEventReceiver which will run customized code on ItemAdded in your document library.
