[SOLVED]Perform pageflow from executables section of a pagedef

Hi
I am trying to call a API in the executables section of adf page definition, based on the result of the API i want to render the UI components in the page or forward the page flow to another page.
I have achieved the first part, but I'm not able to perform a page forward.
I have tried creating a data control for the ADF page's Backing bean and invoke a custom method from it (the method is called 2 times for some strange reason :( ) but the approach is not successful.
Is a page forward from executable section possible ?
pls. provide any pointers to samples or documentations.

I have figured out (Sort of ) a way to do pageflow from executables section.
--> Added a custom method handlePageFlow() in the backing bean of the page.
--> created a data control of the backingbean
--> dragged the method action handlePageFlow() to the bindings section in pagedef
-->created an excutable from this binding
In the handlePageFlow() method i am using NavigationHandler Class
public void handleNavigation(FacesContext context, String fromAction,
String outcome) method to forward depending on the evaluated condition.

[Solved] Mounting Partitions from Beginners Guide

Hi everyone. I've setup Arch before, but I see that the installer has been removed. I had a question on some of the documentation from the Beginners Guide...
From the section "Prepare the storage drive" it states to setup the partitions like so:
Name Flags Part Type FS Type [Label] Size (MB)
sda1 Boot Primary Linux 15440
sda2 Primary Linux swap / Solaris 1024
sda3 Primary Linux 133000*
In the section below it ("Mount the partitions ") it explains to "mount any other separate partition" like so:
# mkdir /mnt/home
# mount /dev/sda4 /mnt/home
# mkdir /mnt/boot
# mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/boot
However, I set my partitions up just how it was above, when I put in the syntax "mount /dev/sda4 /mnt/home" I receive an error that sda4 doesn't exist. Using my best judgement I put in "mount /dev/sda3 /mnt/home" as I set my partitions exactly the way from the storage drive section (minus some storage space for sda3). I'd just like to be sure that I set this up right and not doing anything extremely wrong. For some reason, Arch won't boot after I have the system setup in virtualbox, and I'm trying to narrow down the issue.

You should not remount sda3 as something else (in fact I suspect it should give an error).
That partition scheme does not have a separate home parition.

Moving a Subreport from one section to another with C#

Hi,
I'm new to this forum, so please forgive me if I posted my question on the wrong board.
I try to programm something like a litte template engine for our Crystal Reports (we are working here with CR 2008). Users of our application should be able to configure a template which parses the Report and rearranges sections and subreports accordingly. basicly, we design a report with, for example, four detail sections, in one of them we placed a subreport. The user should now be able to define, that detail section c is on top of section a (I solved this already) and that the subreport1 is shown in the report footer and no longer in the detail section.
How can I move a subreport from one section to another?
By the way, I'm using the Report Application Server SDK. I also found the SubreportController.ImportSubreport - method. But it only imports Subreports placed in another .rpt-file.

Possibly one of the simplest ways of achieving what you want to do is to have a copy of the subreport on the HD and import it into the main report as needed:

[SOLVED] install package from aur via yaourt

Hi,
i installed yaourt and tried to install from the aur.
it keeps asking me to continue bulding and then restart building. it just wont install any packages.
for none-aur packages it works fine btw.
any help?

Can you check if:
sudo mkdir /etc/hal/fdi
sudo touch /etc/hal/fdi/policy
solves the problem?

How to get save result from EXECUTE from a dynamic SQL query in another table?

I have this query:

EXECUTE (@query)
With this query I want get col1 from SET and compare it to the column Region from Customer. I would like to get the matching CustomerKey for it.
After execution it says commands are executed successfully. But I want to save the result from @query in another table. I looked it up and most people say to use sp_executesql. I tried a few constructions as sampled and I would always get this error:
Msg 214, Level 16, State 2, Procedure sp_executesql, Line 12
Procedure expects parameter '@statement' of type 'ntext/nchar/nvarchar'.
So the output should be a list of CustomerKeys in another table.
How can I save the results from EXECUTE into a variable? Then I assume I can INSERT INTO - SELECT in another table.

How do I remove or delete a page from a Section in Pages?

The blank page is not blank, there is something on it like a return or word space, or a page break or return on the previous page that forces over to the "blank" page.
Menu > View > Show Invisibles and delete it.
Think of a word processing document like a scroll which you view through a set of frames (the pages).
The scroll is filled from the front and flows through as many pages as necessary to accomodate the text in the main text area between the margins.
Pages has one quirk however which catches out many users. Floating objects stay on their absolute page, the one where they were placed. If that page no longer exists because the text no longer flows that far, the floating objects are no longer visible. They are still in the document but off the end page, much like objects moved completely off the page to the right or down are still there but not visible.
So if you want to make sure floating objects are entirely removed from the document delete, or move, those first, then select the text on that page by dragging over it or shift clicking from top to bottom and hit delete.

How is it possible to get list of VIs from executable?

Hi!
Simple question.
I have executable (builded with LabVIEW, of course).
In LabVIEW 8.0.1 - based application I able to get list of VI inside of executable (with ..\LabVIEW 8.x\vi.lib\Utility\libraryn.llb\Get VI Library.vi)
But if application was builded with LabVIEW 8.2 it seems to be impossible, because error 13 occurred (file is not a resource file).
How is it possible to get list of all VIs from executable which was generated with LabVIEW 8.2?
I do not prefer to build application with llb.
Theoretically I can "convert" exe to llb, and then get list of VIs, but this is "undocumented" way and not preferred.
Any other (better) ideas how to do this?

Just happened to be browsing for a different problem, but an alternative method (assuming I understood the question correctly) may be to use the "List Folder" vi to create a list of all VIs contained within your .exe application. From this list, you could further use a "Match Pattern" vi to do further sorting.
For example, if any constructed VIs contained the phrase "SubVI" within the file name, use "Current VI Path" followed by a single "Strip Path" (to eliminate the active VI name), use a "List Folder" to extract the vi names contained within the .exe, and match pattern for something like "*SubVI.vi" to get a listing of all VIs with the phrase "SubVI.vi" in the file name.

I just tried to export to excel with the esdev extension and got java.lang.NumberFormatException. I found the workaround at Re: Windows Multi-language env, - how do I set English for application lang?
open the file sqldeveloper\jdev\bin\sqldeveloper.conf and add the following two lines:
AddVMOption -Duser.language=en
AddVMOption -Duser.country=USyet now my date formats in excel are 'american-style' instead of german. For example 01-DEC-01 so excel does not recognize it as date and therefore I can not simply change the format.
When export to excel will be native to 1.1 perhaps someone can have a look at this 'feature'

I have Warehouse Builder 10g on a database 10g R1.
On a server linux I have the repository, and on other server (Sun 5.9) I have runtimes for production.
I want execute an upgrade deploy action on one object but I get this error:
An error prevents the Change Management Upgrade script from executing successfully. We strongly advise that this Upgrade is UNDONE and the problem is investigated. Data loss may occur if you accept this Upgrade

I review the installation, it was made with a diferent user that database, I get same permission, restart runtimes service and problem was resolved.

Moving field object from one section to another programatically

How do I move text/field objects from one section to another at run time. The ReportObjects collection in the section is readonly and setting the left, top property of the ReportObject only seems to move object within the same section.
I'm using Crystal Reports version 10.5 that comes with VS 2008 professional.

The trial version will offer this capability. You can either use RAS (which is available with Crystal Reports, or Business Objects Enterprise), or the Crystal Reports engine. Which you use will depend on the target for your application, see this for some tips on that:
