Solved-Quality Center 10 Mannual Runner Script - Setting the Cycle

I can make a script to set the value for the user field on the Manual Runner window when it launches, but it is annoying because even though the value is there...you still have to select it from the drop down.
I am setting the User Field for Cycle to equal the Target Cycle that has been set. It is pretty simple.
Spoiler (Highlight to read)
Run_Fields("RN_USER_01").Value = Run_Fields("RN_ASSIGN_RCYC").Value
Run_Fields("RN_USER_01").Value = Run_Fields("RN_ASSIGN_RCYC").Value
However I will still need to select it from the drop down list.
I have tried setting the type of the user field to Number or String and the value will get set...but you can't start the test since it is still expecting to have the drop down value selected.
Any help would be much appreciated.
This question was solved.

Nevermind...I just went and commented out the script that checked for for the value entry and popped up the message box. Ran the test and the Cycle number was entered...I did have to make a new script for populating a Cycle Last Run field, but other than that it worked to rip it out.

  • Quality Center/Solman configuration help

    Hi.  We're having some issues with our Quality Center/SolMan integration.  We had it set up and working, and now "something" changed but we're not sure what, and our QC guru quit a few weeks back
    We seem to be having authorization issues, but we're not sure where the config issue is.  We have a user trying to push data from the Solman instance to Quality Center - when we look in the QC App server log, we see this.
    com.hp.erp.ei.service.sm.base.exceptions.AuthorizationException: User is not authorized to perform the action PushBlueprintAction
    the user is an admin on the QC system, the ID that was initially configured in Solman to handle the transfer also 'seems' to have the correct permissions.  Where do we need to start looking to solve this?
    What other information can I provide to help this out?
    Thanks!
    Bernie.

  • Integration between Soluiotn Manager and HP Quality Center

    Hi Folks,
    I am currently configuring the integration between Solution Manager and HP Quality Center, and during the set up of communication user, I get the following error:
    User hpqc_comm is not authorized to access projects
    Message no. QC_INTEGRATION016
    Diagnosis
    You want to access projects in the Quality Center with the communication user hpqc_comm. This causes an error because the user either does not exist in the Quality Center or is not assigned to any project.
    Procedure
    Check whether the user hpqc_comm is in the Quality Center, and whether it is assigned to at least one project. Ask the Quality Center administrator to create the user and assign it to projects, if necessary.
    You can use another user for the communication
    Well, I have created that user in HPQC and assigned it to projects.
    Thanks for your help
    Marco

    the error is in Solution Manager. I am defining the communication parameters in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN / <selected project> / edit / Connection to HP Quality Center. I choose the corresponding project in Quality Center, but when I validate the screen, I get the error I mentioned before, even though the communication user exists in HPQC and is assigned to that specific project.
    Thanks for your reply.

  • How can I center a 'Jump Menu' on the page?

    Help!
    I have created a 'Jump Menu' to serve as the navigation for my website.
    However, I cannot seem to center it on my page?!
    Does the Jump Menu need to be contained within a div tag, in order for me position it precisely? At the moment it is contained within a 'Form' (I think), and not a div tag.
    I have attached a relevant screengrab.
    When I do try and center a div, I set the margins to auto in the CSS correct? e.g margin: 0 auto;
    This does not always seem to work, am I doing something wrong? Sorry, I am very new to this.
    Many thanks in advance,
    J

  • Set the aspect ratio

    Hello,
    I have an old iBook G4 (aspect ratio 4:3) hooked up to a TV screen (aspect ratio 16:9). This means the TV always gets the 4:3 output and is incredibly annoying.
    Using the open source MPlayer I am able to set the aspect ratio of movie files to 16:9, meaning they are distorted when viewing on the iBook screen but appear correctly on the TV screen.
    However, MPlayer is not as good a player as QT and tends to corrupt the rendering... is it possible to set the aspect ratio of a movie in QT? This could also be solved if it were possible to set the aspect ratio of the entire display on the iBook when the video-out cable is plugged in.

    no resolution... doesn't seem possible.

  • How to test the SAP modules like SD and MM By using Quality Center and QTP

    Hi Experts,
    How to test the SAP modules like SD and MM By using Quality Center and QTP. Can you please provide the documentation regarding this.
    Regards,
    Skumar.

    Hi Sampath,
    First install QTP and SAP Addin with in QTP.
    2nd use QC to develop the test plan and then convert that test plan design to Test Scripts (QTP vesrion using settings)
    3rd record the R/3 GUI screen of SAP for SD, MM like Create order or Create PR.
    Once recording is done QTP will create a script in VB
    SAPGuiSession("Session").SAPGuiWindow("SAP Easy Access  -  User").SAPGuiOKCode("OKCode").Set "/nVA01"
    SAPGuiSession("Session").SAPGuiWindow("SAP Easy Access  -  User").SendKey ENTER
    you can always add a parameter and other customization according to your requirement.
    Let me know if you need more information regarding this.
    Good Luck!

  • How do I set the stage quality in an AIR app?

  • [SOLVED] When archiso build.sh script, the mount for airootfs.img fail

    Solved, you can see the details down in this post https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 6#p1481476. Basically I rebooted.
    VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV
    As the subject states, when running ./build.sh there is a mount: work/mnt/airootfs: mount failed: Unknown error -1
    looking through the script I think the command that is being ran is
    mount /home/pingbuild/archlive/baseline/work/airootfs.img /home/pingbuild/archlive/baseline/work/mnt/airootfs
    The mnt/airootfs directory does exist. I guess normally the directory is removed, but I am assuming the scripts stop with the error. Anyway if I run the command by hand I get the same error.
    Is the airootfs.img not being created correctly?
    Here is a snapshot of the std out. I could not get std err to go to curl/spurgen, so the actual error did not upload. I will paste by hand so you can see where it would have been.

    truncate -s 1M coco.img
    mkfs.vfat coco.img
    mount coco.img /mnt
    does this works?
    Gives me the same results. Also I tried overwriting the vfat with etx4, same thing. This confused me. I know I have made rootfs before.
    Let me step out and set the stage a bit.
    This is a question I posted on stackoverflow http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2693 … re-adj-lib One suggestion was archiso. So I started with baseline and was trying to build my 'hello world' iso. Once that is done I will then try port the P.I.N.G scripts to that ISO. Maybe event create it as a package that archiso will then just merged in. Once I get to that point building new iso should be a breeze. Actually, I use the tool as a pxe boot, but until I get the 'hello world' iso working, I can't trust the boot. So I have a script I wrote to build my rootfs once I get the process working and I know it ran once. So I rebooted and all is good.
    FYI here is my script.
    #!/bin/bash
    PINGHOME="/home/Ping"
    AIROOTFS="/home/pingbuild/archlive/baseline/work/airootfs"
    PINGROOTFS="${PINGHOME}/rootfs"
    if [ "$1" == "init" ]
    then
    rm -r ${PINGROOTFS}
    cp -av "${AIROOTFS}/" "${PINGROOTFS}/"
    fi
    rm -r ${PINGROOTFS}/Braums
    cp -av ${PINGHOME}/Braums/ ${PINGROOTFS}/Braums/
    dd if=/dev/zero of=initrd bs=1M count=60
    mkfs -t ext4 -F initrd
    mount -o loop initrd /mnt/PingFS
    #rsync -rpltDzv --delete --progress ${PINGROOTFS}/ /mnt/PingFS/
    umount /mnt/PingFS
    Stepping back in..... When I ran my script I was getting the same errors. Ok, this can't be so I rebooted, ran my script, and it worked. I ran the lsmod and the loop was there.
    So tried './build.sh' and it is coping work/airootfs/ to work/mnt/airrootfs.
    Not sure why or how it got there since my system is rather new (mid nov 2014) but after a reboot, it does look like systemd 217-8 will insert the loop without forcing a modprobe. That is probably why I did not see it in the wiki.
    So back to draining the swamp. If the ISO works and I sure it will then I am back to trying to get pxe boot to work, then integrating the P.I.N.G scripts into the new rootfs. But that maybe another post. :-)

    you know cs6 starts with histogram in colors mode
    I have a hard time with English even though it may native language.  I'm having some problem with what you wrote.
    Yes cs6 does not have what Adobe calls conditional actions they put into CC.  That feature more or less an IF statement condition on some document attributes.  Like if document width is greater then document height play action landscape else play action portrait.   With CS6 you need to write one line script to use in actions.  Most of the utility scripts I wrote for use in actions are more complex then a simple if statement.
    The way you record scripts is PS is be using Adobe Scriptlistener Plug-in when installed the plug-in records everything you do that can be recorded into two log files one in JavaScript and the other in VBS.  The code generated  works by passing parameters to Adobe Photoshop's Action Manager.  To make scripts toy need to extract the steps you need from one of the log files.    However some thing you can do in Photoshop can not be recorded. And while your right that the scriptlistener plug-in  does not record anything for setting the histograms to RGB channel or Luminosity  channel your wrong when you write the Action Recorder can do it.
    However scripts can get the histograms channel data. I have never process a histogram in a script however there is a sample Photoshop Histogram in the Photoshop javascripting guide. That creates a text graph log.

  • HP Quality Center 10.00 Manual Runner window not visible?

    Firstly, excuse me if i am in the wrong forum.
    Using HP Quality Center 10.00, when i select Run, to run a test, the Manual Runner window does not appear? But you can see it sat on the Taskbar? And if i right-click on it, i have only two options - Move, Size. There is no Maximize option?Where is the Manual Runner window?
    I have uninstalled the program and installed the explorer version, but still the same problem exists.
    Does anyone know why this is happening?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    This issue is usually due to having multiple monitors, particularly when used with a laptop where the configuration can frequently change. For example, when at one location, the display settings are such that the laptop is on the left and the secondary monitor is on the right, but at another, the laptop is on the right and the secondary monitor on the left. Applications remember where windows were when last opened, so if the monitors are not configured in the expected order, the window may be "invisible" when next opened. What is actually happening is described in nathanielcoyle's response regarding the coordinates of the window.
    The solution is to go to the Display settings under Control Panel and reverse the order of the monitors. It may alternately help to change which monitor is considered the main display (this is just a theoretical guess). If you use dual monitors at work but only have one (your laptop) at home, you're pretty much hosed until you get back to work or find another monitor to plug in. That is, of course, unless you happen to have your QC administrator on speed dial to implement nmailey's solution.
    Preventive measure: Always bring windows back into your main display before closing them.

    Sirrick,
    If I understand your question correctly, you want to programmatically set how many array elements (clusters) to show. You can do this with the Array properties: Number of Rows and Number of Columns. Please see the attached VI.

    DVD's are only 640 x 480 (interlaced), so yes, the quality is not nearly as good.  You should probably create your .mov in DV format to best match the DVD format

  • [ Solved ] Issue with Partitioning (setting the boot flag)

    I've tried to install Arch a few times. I always seem to run into this issue which affects me later on.
    fdisk (fdisk /dev/sda) doesn't provide me with the ability to set the boot flag on any of the partitions. Therefore I have issues when I get to the bootloader bit. (intend to use grub)
    When I use cfdisk (cfdisk /dev/sda), while its help does say pressing 'b' will toggle the flag, in all images I've seen of what cfdisk should look like there has been a column marked 'Flags'  - that isn't present for me. So, I have no way of knowing if it actually gets set, though I doubt it does.
    Partition Table is GPT.
    Though,
    fdisk -l gives
    Disk /dev/sda ~465.8 GiB
    Disk /dev/loop0 ~278.2 MiB //Not entirely sure what loop0 and loop1 are...
    Disk /dev/loop1 ~32 GiB
    Disk /dev/mapper... //the live image.
    I'm probably just making a simple mistake - though I have no idea what. Help?
    (Ruling out other errors, using latest dual architecture image, (using 86_64 UEFI) on this system; Asus X99 Pro, Core  i7 5820k, 16GB RAM, ~500GB SSD, generic video card).

    It's okay - I just decided to follow the beginner's guide again. It recommend the use of parted for GPT  when using UEFI. So I just did that,  I also went for gummiboot as the bootloader. Never used it before, but it seems to do the job...
    Did forget to create a user though, so I'll have to log in as root and do that.
    Anyway, I'll mark this as solved.
