[SOLVED] Xserver displaying white as cyan

Question

I'm having issues with xorg (I think) displaying all white pixels as cyan. It started a few hours after a system upgrade today that upgraded the following:

None of which should affect my display if I'm reading the descriptions correctly. I was thinking maybe a problem with my graphics card, but the terminals on tty1-6 display perfectly. I'm honestly at a loss of what to do here. Sometimes it will revert back to a normal output display, but I can't find a log anywhere to reflect this and it changes back to cyan after about a minute.

I'm using:
gnome-terminal 3.6.1
cinnamon 1.7.3
slim 1.3.5 which autostarts on tty7
As for .Xresources, I only have a palette for vim, but I tried removing them, just in case, but it does not fix the problem.
I'll try a different WM/DE to see if the problem persists.
EDIT: Persists in xfce4
EDIT2: Seems to have fixed itself after the kernel upgrade I installed earlier today. Still not 100% sure why it happened, but the display has been acting as expected since the 2nd reboot with the new kernel.
