Some db software targets not having inventory.

Hi,
what could be the reasons for not having Inventory in db targets ? But earlier it was there and between patching has been done.
Any reason ?

If the inventory is not there, it could mean that the Oracle Home was not installed in the box, but was simply copied over from another box.
if you are running 10g, then there is a way to recreate the inventory, provided your local inventory $ORACLE_HOME/inventory is intact.

Starting with Mac OS X 10.7, Apple got rid of Rosetta, the application that supported PowerPC applications, so labelled in your System Profiler Applications section. These are these ways around it:
1. Run Snow Leopard Server in virtualization.
2. Run Snow Leopard on an external drive, or USB Flash Drive, or erase and partition your hard drive to have 10.7 or newer along with 10.6.8 or older, if you are using machine that predates July 20, 2011 release of 10.7.
3. Find an equivalent title that is Universal or Intel only.
4. Run the Windows equivalent title in virtualization.
5. Buy an older Mac than July 20, 2011 if you don't have one.
6. Speak to someone at a usergroup who has the older Macs who is willing to do some data conversion for you.

Can I partition an external drive and install 10.6.8 so I can run some older software?

I have older software that won't run on my 21.5 iMac. Can I partition a 3TB Lacie external drive, then install 10.6.8 on it so I can use the older software?

The computer that I purchased did come with Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac, but I thought that was only for running some Windows software. Not a clue how to use it.
I actually asked a similar question about installing the older system on the external drive when I talked to Apple yesterday. They guy said go ahead and try it! Huh?

Software Targets Without Inventory

I have installed OEM GC rel 3 on windows and have 4 database on the same box. 3 of the databases are in the same home, but only two database show up for the software target with inventory. In my databases, the one missing from the software target but is actually showing up in OEM.
I have already refreshed the host configuration. DOes anyone have any ideas as to how I can get this database to register in the inventory.

Target not found for some stuff, Multilib enabled and updated

Hey everyone, I've got a problem that I just can't seem to solve. Basically I have a youtube channel with almost 20,000 subs where I look at different operating systems (not going to mention it's name here since that's advertisement). All my videos feature heavy editing and look at each operating system in a repetitive manner so I decided to do a new side project on a new channel.
The idea for my new channel/series "Adventures in Arch Linux" is as follows:
"Adventures in Arch Linux is a series that lets you experience me going from a minimal Arch Linux installation to a bloated installation full of software with heaps of desktop customizations and well... Everything! Everything you see is unscripted, unplanned and uncut. This means that every failure, success and reaction I make throughout the journey will be on camera and captured within each episode. I will be taking suggestions in each episode of what software I should add to arch Linux and try out on camera so you can see my unacted first impressions of all available software for Arch Linux."

The issue however I found was that I was constantly running into problems and by the time I finished filming my first 50 minute episode I realized what a mess the video was and feel like I've completely failed. I managed to install LXDE as the desktop environment but I was unable to download and install any screen recorders. I tried typing "sudo pacman -S vokoscreen" but nup, Target not found. I tested and saw that inkscape worked but none of the screen recorders and quite a bit of other software just gave me "Target not found".
I researched stuff like multilib and enabling that but it still didn't work. I just don't know what to do The first episode (0) is just a disaster (unless you call an arch noob stumbling around trying to figure out how to do stuff in arch without a screen recorder a good video)... I'm at a lose as to what I should do.

Hey, welcome to Arch and the forums. I applaud your willingness to explore Arch. Giving your mother a base install of arch without anything was just mean Here are some thoughts that might help with your new video series.
1. Arch has a bit of a learning curve. Nothing is setup. I repeat, nothing is setup. All packages are vanilla or as close to vanilla. This means, you will need to restrategize your approach in making a video while you explore. Why do I say this? Because most of the time you will be reading the wiki in learning how things work through concept explanations or command explanations. Your challenge is to capture your unscripted response but make it fun for the viewer.
2. How about you get your feet wet first. If you don't understand what the difference is between pulling a package via pacman from the arch repos vs pulling through the AUR (arch user repository), I'm taking a wild guess that your feet are very dry. Maybe record yourself as you are doing but do some major cutting. For example, keep all these video journals of yourself setting up your system and at the end you can show off a 'bloated' environment. Then transition to "it wasn't pretty getting to this phase, here are some scenes of my frustration" and then show where you failed. I'm just tossing out ideas here. 3. Use the forum search feature as well as reading the wiki. I'm sure I read some good threads on here that were full of suggestions to new comers in understanding arch. As a test run, maybe search for it?
4. Read the forum etiquette and ask smart questions. Arch is my first full-time distro and boy, I learned heaps from these forum guys/gals. They are also bad ass when it comes to bad forum etiquette. Rightfully so.

You may have debris in your headphone jack blocking the sensor. Try blowing hard on the jack, and inserting/removing your headphones quickly multiple times to clear it.

I don't think you're on iOS 5, I think you're using iOS 6. That's the latest version.
Unless you've used iCloud to back up your documents, you won't be able to restore them. And for future reference, you don't have to uninstall Pages to update your iPad anymore. Sorry about this.

Install 7-Zip (free), or a free trial of WinRAR, and use one of them to extract the contents of the iTunesSetup.exe or iTunesSetup64.exe installer file, then try installing AppleApplicationSupport.msi as a standalone component. Even if it won't install you may get a more useful error message as to why not.

Photoshop by itself cannot process raw image data. That is why the Camera Raw plug-in was developed. You could try the DNG converter and convert your images to the DNG format and then the Camera Raw that you have would be able to open them. I can't recommend Lightroom because you are using Vista, and Lightroom 5 cannot be used with that operating system. It may be time for you to get a new computer and upgrade your software.

Apparently, security programs like Macafee and Norton view Itunes updates as new programs and block then from access. If you add Itunes to the list of exemptions, it solves the problem.
