Some delegates not receiving meeting requests

Hello,
I have an odd issue where there are 3 delegates assigned to a conference room Room Mailbox.  It is setup in the correct way for in policy requests and out of policy requests and Recourse booking attendant is turned on.
Only 1 of the three users is receiving the approval requests.
Anyone have any idea why my 2 other users are not receiving the approval requests?  They each have full access permissions to the room mailbox and they are listed in the delegates for this mailbox.
Thanks in advance for any help

Hi,
Please run the following command for this room mailbox ro check the calendar processing configuration:
Get-CalendarProcessing roomA | fl
Please make sure these 3 delegates are all listed in ResourceDelegates paremeter. If the configuration is not correct, please run Set-CalendarProcessing cmdlet to configure it.
If all configurations are proper, please remove all delegates then re-add it back to have a try.

  • Office365 User not receiving Meeting Request Email (but shows in Calendar)

    Hi,
We have one user (so far) who has successfully migrated from Exchange 2007 to 'Office365' but when you sent them an meeting request they do not get ANY email notification of it. No Spam, rules, junk email are affecting it. There are no delegates on the account.
I have removed the Office365 user license for them and then re-added it but made no difference.
If the user goes into the calendar they can actually 'see' the meeting and accept / decline it in there but we obviously need the user to get some email notification of it so they are aware of a meeting and now get a 'surprise' meeting they knew nothing about!
Other migrated users are able to receive email notifications of meeting requests without issue. There is just no trace of it for this user.

    Hi Peter,
As per your description above, I understand that one user cannot receive meeting requests, instead, the meetings are placed on their calendar directly.
I would like to confirm that whether he/she configured the email account into any Outlook clients, or actually we are talking about the web-based Outlook in Office 365 portal?
If this is an issue in the Outlook desktop client, please check if you have ticked the option of
Automatically accept meeting requests and remove canceled meetings
under FILE>Options>Calendar>Auto Accept/Decline... Try untick it and verify again.
If Outlook client is not involved here, I would suggest you post your question in the forum of Office 365 Community - email and calendar, where you can get more experienced responses:
    http://community.office365.com/en-us/f/158.aspx
The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding.
    Hope this helps.

  • Delegates not receiving not receiving emails to approve/deny booking requests from external contacts.

    Hi,
I have an issue with meeting room delegates no longer receiving email notifications when external contacts try to book meeting rooms.
Our business has may business units with their own domains and exchange servers, so we have a central exchange server (ex2013 CU2) hosting the shared meeting rooms, with the GAL populated by FIM, and using the MS Federated Gateway and Organisation Relationships
    to share calendars.
We have a couple of meeting rooms which need delegate approval to book, and if a person hosted on the central exchange tried to book a meeting the delegates receive an email as expected, but when someone from one of the other business units tries the meeting
shows up as tentative, but the delegates do not receive an email.
This was working last year, and I havent been able to pin down when it stopped, but it is possible it stopped when applying Exchange 2013 CU2.
Where can I start to trouble shoot this issue?
    Cheers.

    Hi James
First run below command to check if ProcessExternalMeetingMessages value is set to true
    Get-CalendarProcessing -Identity [email protected] | Format-List
If its not set to true then run the below command to set it  to true
    set-calendarprocessing "Room 1" -AutomateProcessing AutoUpdate -ProcessExternalMeetingMessages $true

  • Delegate Receives Meeting Requests - PowerShell

We are able to easily set delegate access to a Calendar through PowerShell, but is there a way to also set the "Deliver meeting requests to my delegate..." option in Outlook through PowerShell or EWS API?
    MCITP Exchange 2010 | MCITP Lync Server 2010 | MCTS Windows 2008

    Hi,
Based on my knowledge, you need to use the EWS API to set the "Deliver meeting requests to my delegate" option. You can use the Set-MailboxDelegate cmdlet to do it.
For more information about it, actually we have a dedicated support team regarding the Microsoft Exchange development. I recommend you ask your question on our Microsoft Exchange development forum which is staffed by more experts specializing in this kind

  • Delegate not receiving "Proposed New Time" items

I am looking at a principal who has given delegate access to his admin and configured the delegate to receive all meeting related items. I've verified this in the principal's mailbox. The meeting invitations all are sent from the principal's calendar
and the delegate sees the requests and all acceptances/declinations; however, the delegate is NOT receiving "Proposed New Time" items. The principal does receive them, thus we know the option to "Allow New Time Proposals" is not
    disabled.
The one oddity I saw was that the principal had given the delegate "owner" permissions to his calendar, which makes the permissions appear as "Custom" in his Outlook. However, in Office 365, GET-MAILBOXFOLDERPERMISSIONS <ALIAS>:\CALENDAR
shows that the delegate has Editor permissions. I reset the permissions in the principal's calendar to "Editor" to remove the "custom" setting (once upon a time, custom settings used to cause issues in Outlook). The change, however, had
    no effect.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Taj,
It’s by design. Decline and Propose New Time is same as decline meeting request. When you decline a meeting, this meeting will be automatically deleted in your calendar.
If you want to propose new time, you can try another option--- Tentative and Propose New Time. By default, you will tentatively accept the meeting.
More details about Propose, accept, or decline a new meeting time, for your reference:

  • Outlook does not send meeting requests at all.

    Hi all
My problem is both annoyingly simple and frustratingly annoying, but so far i haven't been able to solve it, nor has our IT department.
In short, my Outlook doesn't send meeting requests to invite attendees. (My colleagues, same exchange server) I am the only one having this problem. When i send out a meeting request, it appears double in my calendar (asking me to accept) but nothing shows
up in my sent items, nor in their calendar. If i delete the event, this is sent out; new ones and updates are not.
To my knowledge, I use the standard IPM.Appointment form, but have used another standard form in the past (which was removed.)
A new profile doesn't help, nor does uninstalling / reinstalling Outlook 2007. I installed Outlook 2010 - same phenomenon.
It has worked all the time, but stopped working about 10 months ago, no apparent cause.
I should add that I can send out meeting requests through Exchange from my iPad and iPhone, just not from my computer. (and no, they are not related - the time i got iPad and iPhone everything worked)
OS is Windows 7 Professional 64 bits, MS Office 2010, various applications installed but none related to calendar useage / sync / ...
I am local admin, this is my work PC so no 'dubious' SW installed, nor authorised.
According to the server guys, there is nothing exceptional like the forms attached to my account - they claim it's something local, but also have no clue what it might be. Even Mr. Google or Ms. Bing do not provide an answer, so i'm hoping someone here might
outsmart everyone else and come up with a solution.
(ps - i'm quite sure it isn't "stupid user error" either, I'm an IT specialist/consultant/developer - but this one baffles me and everyone looking for it...)
Added info - on my PC, when logging in with a different account but connecting to my own exchange account, it works.
Replacing forms related info from the user/appdata folder of the functional user towards the non-functional user account didn't work. (even though the information was different)
No difference in the registry as i can see.
Tried to add ForceFormReload to the registry - no use.
I activated logging, also nothing in there.
I also receive no error whatsoever, it really is like Outlook simply isn't configured to send out meeting requests anymore...
Also, no errors in the event viewer in case you were wondering.
When working offline, it is clear that the meeting requests simply do not enter the 'outbox'. (cancellations do)
Assuming it might be a corrupt DLL somewhere, i scheduled a Chkdsk C: /F/R this evening. A long shot, yes, but grasping at straws here...
Thanks in advance for your help,
    Kind regards,
    Dennis

    solved - completely uninstalled, reboot
removed all keys in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0 (the entire folder)
removed all outlook related registry keys in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0 and 12.0, also in 8.0 and 9.0
    removed HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook completely
    rebooted
installed Office Pro2010 again, and now it works.
so in short - there was a messed-up registry key somewhere in there, that was missed by installing it, or even completely reinstalling it.
FYI - all my settings remained the same, no info or config loss except the colour profile i used...
    Grtz,
    Dennis

  • ITunes not syncing meeting requests on Windows

i just noticed that itunes seems to be selectively syncing what it wants. meeting requests sent by others are not being synced and causing me some pain. i've gone through the troubleshooting steps, removed other add-ins, re-installed software, restored my phone to original settings, etc., etc. still no luck.
has there been any resolution or any log files i can look at to see why certain calendar items are being ignored?!?!?!

it absolutely supports meeting request syncing, but only certain types apparently. i've discovered the bug and documented the suggested workarounds. this is very lame how apple is implementing and should be fixed.
    problem explained here: http://timheuer.com/blog/archive/2007/10/31/apple-iphone-will-not-sync-certain-c alendar-items-from-outlook-bug.aspx

  • Disappearing Notes in Meeting Requests with Room Mailboxes

We are running Exchange 2010 SP3. We observe this behavior with both Outlook 2010 and 2013.
When a user creates a new meeting request for a moderated room, the notes only show up on the organizers request (in their Outlook calendar pending), but the delegate cannot view the notes. There is information contained in the notes that will aid the delegate
in approving or denying the meeting request in the various Rooms.
How can I make it so that the Notes in the Meeting Request are viewable by the delegate?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
Do you mean you want to set a delegate for room mailbox for meeting request approving? If it is, we can run the following command in Exchange server to achieve it:
    Set-CalendarProcessing -Identity "Room222" -ResourceDelegates
    [email protected]

  • Some receipients not receiving my emails!

I'm finding out that several business contacts do not receive my emails (sent from me.com), even though they appear in my Sent folder and there's no notification that the emails didn't go through. How do I solve this when I don't even know who is/isn't receiving my mail? Do a lot of businesses tend to block messages from me.com addresses? I'm using Mac 10.7.4 and my outgoing mail server is MobileMe (iCloud). Please help!

How do you know they are not receiving your email? Same logic. Someone must have told you they are not receiving your email. Contact these same people and ask them how they are being blocked.
Now you are adding the fact that you are sending bulk email. Someone may have reported you to their ISP or an ISP has determined that you are sending bulk mail to their clients. They then blocked email from your domain. Unfortunately such domain blocks hurt other me.com users. Once your domain or email address is on a block list, it does not matter if you send one or many html or plain text emails. They all will be blocked.
So as a bulk emailer you need to find a better way to send.

  • Some clients not receiving SCEP definition updates

I have a collection for some of our application servers that is used in conjunction with an ADR to deploy the SCEP definition updates. 12 of the servers in this collection recently had the SCCM 2012 R2 client installed on them. (The collection has a total
    of 23 servers in it)
I can see that these 12  servers have the Antimalware policy applied, but are not getting the SCEP updates.  The summary for SCEP is:  Service started without any malware protection engine; AV signatures out of date; AS signatures out
    of date.
The policy application state is "Succeeded" with the recent date and time.
When I view the status of the deployment, the enforcement state is "Failed to install update(s) " with an error code of 0X87D00667 - No current or future service window exists to install software updates.
These servers are members of another collection that is used for deploying the Monthly updates.  This "update" collection does have a maintenance window on it specific to software updates, with no recurrence schedule.
Do maintenance windows apply to the machine then, regardless of what collection they are in?
These 12 servers, for the Endpoint Protection client settings have the "Allow EP client installation and restarts outside MW" set to No, and the Suppress any required computer restarts after the EP client is installed set to Yes.
For the Software Updates client setting, the update scan schedule and deployment re-evaluation is set to every 7 days.
So, in looking at this, it appears that these servers will never get any SCEP updates because they are members of another collection that has a MW, even though the SCEP collection does not have a MW?
    Is that correct?

I added a MW on the collection that is used for SCEP updates.  I made the MW effective yesterday, but the MW hours were from 5:30am-7:30am daily (which should have started this morning, 1/30, at 5:30am).
In the updatesdeployment.log, I see the MW starting:
    CUpdateAssignmentsManager received a SERVICEWINDOWEVENT START Event UpdatesDeploymentAgent 1/30/2015 5:30:00 AM 3004 (0x0BBC)
No current service window available to run updates assignment with time required = 1 UpdatesDeploymentAgent 1/30/2015 5:30:00 AM 3004 (0x0BBC)
    CUpdateAssignmentsManager received a SERVICEWINDOWEVENT END Event UpdatesDeploymentAgent 1/30/2015 7:30:00 AM 3312 (0x0CF0)
No current service window available to run updates assignment with time required = 1 UpdatesDeploymentAgent 1/30/2015 7:30:00 AM 3312 (0x0CF0)
Attempting to cancel any job started at non-business hours. UpdatesDeploymentAgent 1/30/2015 7:30:00 AM 3312 (0x0CF0)
However, the definitions are not installed. These 12 servers have the SCEP client, but no definitions installed.
There are 11 servers in this collection that are getting the definition updates, but the 12 servers in this collection that have recently had the SCCM client installed on it are not getting the updates.    So I know that the ADR is working.
What am I missing to get these 12 servers to install/update the definitions?

  • Promotional Trade In Shipping Materials still not received - multiple requests!

I've been requesting the shipping material for my $200 iPhone promotional trade in since September 29th.  I've visited the store to inquire once, used the contact us email at least 3 recorded times, and called the provided phone number 3 times as well.  I'm beginning to think this is a total scam and Verizon has no intention of honoring the $200 promotional trade in they advertised.
All I have gotten is a bunch of excuses and no resolution.  Zero Accountability! Verizon Wireless Customer Support

RaySJ I've been reading of quite a few people having this same problem on here.  Have you tried calling a VZW Corporate store in your area to see if maybe they'll take it in for you and just issue the credit.  $200 is a lot of money to see go away because of VZW not getting the shipping materials in a timely manner.  I'd try calling a corporate store to see if they can help...some people have posted on here that they've had some success doing that when their materials didn't show up.  Let us know if you try this method and if it works out for you as it'll be a bit more encouragement for others to do the same rather than waiting...

  • Blackberry not receiving meeting invitations

My husband & I both have Blackberry 8330's. We are on BIS and only use our personal e-mail accounts. When he sends me a meeting invitation, I receive an e-mail in Outlook but the invitation does not come to my device. I cannot accept the meeting invitation from the e-mail, it comes in as a bunch of text and doesn't even tell me the date or time of the meeting. It doesn't seem to matter if the invitation is updating an existing meeting or a new one. He receives invitations that I send him just fine.
Does anybody have any ideas what the problem could be?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Have you tried, for both BB's, to delete and re-create the BIS profile?
Also, have you compared, item by item, the settings within the Message app config on both devices?  Perhaps something is set one way on one and differently on the other?
Also, have you compared the OS level of the two devices to be sure they are as well the same?
