Some software are not working properly, don't know why?

I can't convert video files to mp3. I tried with different software;real player, format factory, etc. But every time pop up msg shows "RealConverter or format factory has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." I have not faces that problems before. But I can watch video with real player.
So how can I solve this problems? Another problem is there is no Restore factory settings. The Reinstall windows, which I have, requires installation disk.

  • Some keys are not working properly

    Hello,
This is my first time having to come on and ask for help. This morning I cleaned the screen and keyboard on my HP Envy laptop while it was turned off. After, the keys wouldn't work properly. The caps key won't work, and some of the keys won't work at all. So, I refreshed and thought that would help set things back in order. But, now Microsoft is asking me to sign in and I can't because the keys don't work properly. Also, I think I made a mistake in refreshing the laptop because now the my finger print won't work with the simple pass on the keyboard. How can I fix this?
Look forward to hearing from anyone who has had this issue, and has a solution.
    Thank you,
    Maureen

  • Gx 740 not working - but don't know why!

Hi everyone, this is my first post and I apologise if I've put this in the wrong forum. If so, please feel free to move it.
I have an MSI GX740 and recently it stopped working and I have no idea why and was hoping someone here could help me try and discover the source of the problem at least so that I know what I'll be looking at in terms of expense to get it fixed. I'll try to give as much as detail as I can.
I had no problems with the laptop itself (no history of crashes or anything) until one morning when I went to turn it on, and it wouldn't boot up. The lights came on and the machine whirred as usual, but no POST screen appeared. So I turned it off and tried again, but to no avail. So, after looking online (in the library) and using all the tricks of unplugging the battery and adapater etc. I decided to leave it for a while. So I tried it the next day, and it managed to boot all the way to the dekstop. When I was on the desktop I managed to play a music file, move some files and delete some other files, but when I went to play a game, the game wouldn't run. So I used CTRL-ALT-DEL to end the task, and tried a different game, and the screen went black (as it always does before this games starts) but it just stayed black so I turned it off, and couldn't boot again. This suggested a video card problem, but the first game I tried to run was Championship Manager 2000/2001 which hardly uses graphics at all! (That's not a typo, I downloaded the old game through freeware).
So, again after reading internet resources, I waited a while and turned on the laptop and got to the POST screen. I pressed DEL to enter setup and reset all the bios settings, but this had no effect. So then I restarted and tried the F3 OS recovery method. Whenever I do this though I either get a message that says "reagentc.exe FALSE" and it keeps going but nothing happens at the end or, more commonly, I get a BSOD with a message about IRQL_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL or something along those lines (I'll make a proper note of it later).
So basically, I now have no idea what's causing this, and I am going to get it fixed, but having no knowledge of the cause I have no idea how much it's going to cost, or if it's something i can even try myself (I don't have an encyclopedic knowledge of computers, but I have installed some PC components myself in the past.)
I've read that the reaganetc.exe message means I need to reinstall Windows 7 completely, but I don't have the Windows 7 disc (I travel a lot and think it's been lost in transit, or I just didn't get one in the first place - I genuinely can't remember). I spoke to a guy in a computer shop today who said that msi should be able to sell me a recovery cd which might solve the problem and would cost something like 20 AUD and if it doesn't work, I've only wasted 20 bucks, rather than the 300 bucks it costs to buy Windows 7 itself, when that might not even be the problem.
But I've also been reading that the BSOD message suggests it may be a hardware problem, but I have no idea which one would be failing.
Because the laptop is clearly not working in some aspect, I don't mind opening it up and having a go myself as the warranty is more than likely void anyway, as I have a chip in my casing (bottom left of the screen) so MSI would more than likely say the problem has been caused by misuse. (I didn't drop the laptop, but the bag I have it in doesn't hold it very securely, and I do travel a lot so it was just general wear and tear that caused it. I'll be buying a proper laptop bag when I get this one fixed!!)
My current status is that if I leave it for a while I can get it to the POST screen, but because of my previous efforts to recover the OS (which meant wiping the C drive) I can no longer get into Windows. If anyone has any ideas at all I'd be so grateful to hear them. If you need any more info I'll gladly provide it. However, I am based in Australia so please accept my apologies if my replies take a long time due to the time difference.
The laptop is an MSI GX 740 as I said, so these are the specs:
    http://laptops-specs.blogspot.com/2010/06/msi-gx740-specifications.html
    Thanks in advance

I also had the same problem. I have the A6200 laptop. The msi recovery on the hard drive failed with "reagentc.exe false" error. Same thing with the recovery dvd i had created earlier. same thing with the recovery dvd that bought from MSI. I tried installing Win7 from a installation dvd which failed as well. Then i ran a memtest86 and found out that one of the memory sticks was bad. you could also run the memory diagnostic on the Windows Recovery DVD (WRE) as well. So i just took out the bad memory and the MSI recovery worked flawlessly. I wish i had realized that this was due to bad ram. i wasted money buying a new recovery dvd from msi and wasted days trying to fix this. So if you are getting the reagentc.exe error check your memory. I am not saying this is the only source of the problem, but it could be and i haven't come across anyone suggesting this anywhere else. Also the reason i decided to do a clean install in the first place was because windows kept crashing randomly, which should have made me realize that this was a memory related issue. I hope this helps.

Ive just upgraded my late 2009 macbook, and things are not working properly. First of all, when I started the computer first time after installing Mountain Lion, some message advised me that some files were impossible to install. Once I wrote my password, and for now on, everytime I start the session, another window advise me that "Java SE 6" is missing, due that, the computer can't run some "CS5Service Manager". If I try to install it, the download ends with an error. If finally, you skip the istallation, you arrive to the dock, but the menu bar at the top of the screen doesn't show up.
In addition, my trackpad doesn't works either. I can move the arrow but i can't click anywhere, probably because the option of clicking by touching is disabeled and I can't performance a regular click.
I'll be very glad if someone know what the heck is happening with my computer. Anyway, I'm going to the genius bar next Saturday. Thx!

This is boot camp problem, because in other normal notebooks (e.g. SONY VAIO, Lenovo with Windows 7) the gadgets are working normally.

Try this: Open up her Home folder (house icon), click Library then Preferences. Locate com.apple.softwareupdate.plst (I don't have my Mac handy so I can't double-check the name; that should be correct) and move it to the desktop or trash, then try running Software Update again. Also try running Software Update while logged in as another administrator.

  • Left and right arrow keys are not working properly now

I searched the forum and didn't see this posted. My left and right arrow keys are not working properly now.
For example, when typing, left arrow does not produce the desired action (move cursor one spot to the left), and right arrow does not produce the desired action (move cursor one spot to the right). Also, control + left no longer activates spaces, and control + right no longer activates spaces.
Interestingly, in investigating the problem, I noticed that my shortcut keys for activating spaces and for activating expose had been changed (software update?). Before, I had set F5 (without pressing fn) for expose and had set F6 (without pressing fn) for spaces. Now, I noticed spaces was set back to the default of F8 (requiring fn).
The issue persists after shut down, and even when logged on to other users, e.g. Guest.
All other keys seem to be working fine, including the up and down arrows.
I don't think it's a cleaning issue because fn + left + right produces the "[" character on the screen.
    Any ideas?

I'm having the same type of issue on my MacBook except not with arrow keys. The volume keys do different things when I click on them. For example, the mute key brings up the dashboard and the volume up key makes all the open screens smaller (don't know what this feature is called). I did a software update then restarted the computer when this starting happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    Hi there
Welcome to the HP Support Forums! It is a great place to find the help you need, both from other users, HP experts and other support personnel. I understand that some keys are not working on your keyboard. I am happy to help with this. Are those keys working consistently in some applications? For now I would suggest you look at it as a cleaning issue. Perhaps some dust or debris is affecting the key presses.

    Hi,
    Try the following.
Download the IDT Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
    http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp56001-56500/sp56460.exe
When done, open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager and open up Sound, Video and Game Controllers.  Right click the IDT device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall.
When complete, shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery.  Hold  down the Power button for 30 seconds.  Re-insert the battery and plug in the AC Adapter.
Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the defaults ( this is sometimes f9, but the menu at the bottom will show the correct key ), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.  Press f10 to save the setting and again use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.
Let Windows fully load - it will automatically load an audio driver, but just let this complete.  Then open your Downloads folder, right click on the IDT installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation.  When this has completed, right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select Playback Devices.  Left click 'Speakers and Headphones' once to highlight it and then click the Set Default button - check if this has had any effect on the audio issue.

    Hi,
While this could be a hardware issue, it's always worth trying the following.
Shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery.  Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds.  Re-insert the battery and plug in the AC Adapter.

  • Why the games are not working properly in my ipad after installing iOS7

Why games are not working properly in my ipad in my iOS 7

The games you mention would have been written and therefore designed for the previous version of iOS - you've most likely had a lot of updates lately in the run-up to the release of iOS 7 and if these games haven't had an update then chances are these will need to be adapted to iOS 7 by the developers if not working correctly.
