Someone help me pls!

Question

iam trying to develop an aplication and i have to read from a file and i get this warning
C:\Program Files\Xinox Software\JCreator LE\MyProjects\evagoras\StarWars.java:236: warning: readLine() in java.io.DataInputStream has been deprecated
while((thisline=fin.readLine())!=null){
^
1 warning
and it reads the lines but in a point produces an exception and every time for a different line
can someone help please

If something is deprecated, there's probably a very
good reason.
Maybe that good reason has something to do with the
runtime exception you allude to but don't actually
name.
I'd suggest reworking your code to remove usage of
deprecated methods.
It's good practice to do this anyway.
See if that fixes your problem.that it doesnt display the warning anymore thanxs
but i steel get the exception
my code to that point is
int a=0;
int num;
while((thisline=fin.readLine())!=null){
asteroidcoords[a]=thisline;
num=Integer.parseInt(thisline);
asteroids[a]=num;
System.out.println(asteroids[a]);
a++;
and i get

that happens for that number in the file
