Generally it is not possible to download anything from a web site when using an iPhone, so if you were just using Safari, you probably didn't actually download the track but just played it from the web site. If you used some other app, tell us what app and someone may be able to provide further assistance.

Hi have just bought a Sony Xperia J and am not able to tether my ipad as I did with my Nokia C3. Why?
What do I have to do to solve the problem so I can tether to my Ipad?
Is this phone another of the things that Apple does not support? How do I know before I buy a phone that it will be supported?How are you attempting to connect them?
Looking at the Experia J features it does seem to support Wifi Hotspot, but there is no mention of a Bluetooth hotspot. Different phones offer different things.
The iPad issues the message, because there doesn;t seem to be anything it can do with it. But this is not something apple is blocking its more a limitation or a non present feature of the phone.
From the Manual which I assume you've read through:
To share your phone’s data connection as a portable Wi-Fi® hotspot
1 From the Home screen, tap .
2 Find and tap Settings > More… > Tethering & portable hotspot.
3 Tap Configure Wi-Fi hotspot.
4 Enter the Network SSID for the network. Tap the Security field to select a
security type.
5 If required, enter a password.
6 Tap Save.
7 Mark the Portable Wi-Fi hotspot checkbox. The phone starts broadcasting its
Wi-Fi® network name (SSID). You can now connect to this network with up to
8 computers or other devices.
8 Unmark the Portable Wi-Fi hotspot checkbox when you want to stop sharing
your data connection via Wi-Fi®
When that is set up, you can use your iPad to look for the Wifi network the phone is providing and connect to it as you would any wifi network.

thank you very muchLooks like Apple did the same thing with Lion that Microsoft did with Vista. Brought it on the market before it was ready.
I run a MacBook Pro and upgrading to Lion caused me two days of trouble and computer crash. Router settings removed and router blocked. Dongle not recognised, you name it.
In the end, I gave up and using my Snow Leopard installation disk and a Time Machine Backup finally got my computer up and running again. Thanks to Lion, I think I'll stay with OS X 10.6.8 at least it's reliable. -

I have 4 devices on my iTunes account which all have different names or ID's. An iPad 2 which I just got at Xmas, my iPhone 4S, my wifes iPhone 4 and my daughters iPod. I always hook up to iTunes via a cable/dock when syncing them all separetly. Since buying the iPad 2 every app that I have downloaded on it seems to be going over onto my iPhone 4S when I next sync it after I have synced the iPad 2 to iTunes??? I do not want anything that is on the iPad 2 automatically going onto my phone the next time I sync. How do I stop this happening?

Thanks in advance!On the iPhone, go into Settings -> Store and turn off "Automatic Downloads" for Apps (and Music and Books, if you wish). You can also do that on the iPad to prevent it from going in the opposite direction.
That will stop any automatic downloading... to prevent them from coming over when using iTunes, select the phone (under Devices), Apps, and then uncheck "Automatically sync new apps." Again, do the same for the iPad if you wish. -
Please help! I have a new iPhone. Have some songs from iTunes library on iPad and only a few transferred to new phone when synced. Tried deleting songs from iPad and they went to iCloud. So now I have songs in iCloud on iPad and some songs on iPhone. Help! I want ALL iTunes library on new phone.
I hope I'm not too confusing--to clarify: I have iTunes library on the computer. When I got the iPad, most of them transferred to that. I read somewhere on here how to delete those songs and they are now 500+ songs in iCloud...I think. Tried putting the iTunes library onto new iPhone 5s a few days ago and only 149 out of 1100 songs transferred. HOw can I get my whole library from the computer to my new phone? I don't need them on my iPad.

Just need a little help to change destination for itunes upgrade, have downloaded 10.5 but when i go to install i get F/ invalid . my F/ drive is my camera memory card drive and all my media is on G/ drive how do i change this as not getting any help from apple other than generic message saying this is not my department and look at links
Any help would be appreciatedI don't use Windows (Thankfully!) but there should be an option in the installer to change the installation destination and I'm pretty certain the default would be on the drive Windows is installed on.

It's a ringtone that you've just purchased, and you downloaded it from iTunes on your phone and the purchase went through successfully (and there isn't a Downloads tab in the iTunes store app with it still downloading) ? It should show in Settings > Sounds > Ringtone (and Text Tone), and in the Contacts for setting for individual callers (tap the Edit button on a contact). If not then have you tried a soft-reset of your phone to see if it shows after the phone has restarted ?

You will always be prompted to enter the password for this ID when you update an app, regardless of whether you are currently using the ID for purchases or not. The reason you are seeing this ID when you try to update apps is that the apps were purchased using this ID. The only way to stop this is to delete these apps from your phone and your iTunes library and repurchase them using your ID.
