Sorting of Draw Document Wizard

Our customer is using 2007 PL 39 and would like the ability to sort the rows of the draw document wizard (i.e. when you have selected to create a goods reciept based on several good POs.  In his example he wants to sort it by items and not documents.
Please could this be considered when developing a future version of SAP?

...you cannot "turn it off", but in 2005 you can do the following (should be the same - or similar in 2004; please check it by yourself )...
If pVal.FormTypeEx = "425" And _
   pVal.EventType = et_FORM_LOAD And _
   pVal.BeforeAction = True Then
  Dim oForm2 As SAPbouiCOM.Form
  oForm2 = SBO_Application.Forms.Item(FormUID)
  oForm2.Items.Item("49").Click()
End If

  • Missing functionality.Draw document wizard - delete/add rows and copy/paste

    Scenario:
My customer is using 2007 SP0 PL47 and would like the ability to change the sequence of the rows of the draw document wizard and delete/add multiple rows (i.e. when you create an AR Invoice copied from several deliveries).
This customer requires the sequence of items on the AR invoice to be consistent with the sequence on the original sales order including text lines and subtotals. Currently we cannot achieve this when there are multiple deliveries.
    Steps to reproduce scenario:
1.Create a Sales order with several items and use text lines, regular and subtotals.
2.Create more than one delivery based on the sales order and deliver in a different sequence than appears on the sales order.
3.Open an AR Invoice and u2018Copy fromu2019 > Deliveries. Choose multiple deliveries. Choose u2018Customizeu2019.
4.Look at the sequence of items on the Invoice. How can the items and subtotals and headings be moved around so they appear in the same sequence as on the sales order?
    Current Behaviour:
In SAP B1 itu2019s not possible to delete or add more than one row at a time on the AR Invoice or Draw Document Wizard.
Itu2019s not possible to copy/paste a row on the AR Invoice or Draw Document Wizard.
Itu2019s not possible to change the sequence of the rows using the Draw Document Wizard.
Business Impact: This customer is currently spending a lot of time trying to organize the AR invoice into a presentable format. They have to go through the invoice and delete the inapplicable rows one by one (because SAP B1 does not have the ability to delete multiple lines at a time) and also has to manually delete re-add rows to make it follow the same sequence as the sales order.
    Proposals:
Enable users to delete or add more than one row at a time on the AR Invoice or Draw Document Wizard.
Enable users to copy/paste rows on the AR Invoice or Draw Document Wizard.

    Hi Rahul,
You said 'It is not at all concerned with Exchange rate during GRPO...' If that is the case how does the Use Row Exchange Rate from Base Document in the draw document wizard work? Does this mean 1 GRPO : 1 AP Invoice so I can use the base document rate?
How should I go about with transactions like these? That is adding an AP Invoice from multiple GRPO's having different exchange rates. What I am trying to capture here is that in the AP Invoice, base document rates should be used in the row item level and not the current rate when adding the invoice.
    Thanks,

  • Cannot use Row Exchange Rate in the Draw Document Wizard

    Hi Experts,
I am having problems while trying to post an AP Invoice which is copied from a Goods Receipt PO. I made two transactions in GRPO:
12/28/2011 - I used the BP Currency which is USD and the exchange rate of PHP 45. Doc No.1198
12/29/2011 -  I used the BP Currency which is USD and the exchange rate of PHP 47. Doc No. 1199
While adding the AP Invoice on 12/30/2011,  I have an exchange rate of PHP 46.
When trying to add the AP Invoice, I used Copy From Goods Receipt PO and I higlighted the two doc numbers 1198 and 1199. In the Draw Document Wizard Row Ex. Rate Prices I have selected the Use Row Exchange Rate from Base Document.  However a system message appears which says Base Document Exchange Rate cannot be used, the rows will be updated using the target document exchange rate.
My presumption is that when I choose the Row exchange rate from base document, SAP will automatically copy the row exchange rate used in the documents so for the transactions in 12/28, the rate of PHP 45 shall be used and same goes for the 12/29 which is PHP 47.
How should I go about this? Am I missing a step here? By the way, I am using SAP B1 8.82 PL01.
Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Request: "Draw Document Wizard" when copying from Sales Order to A/R Invoic

    Hi Colleagues
Our clients complain about not being able to choose the exchange rate from the base document when copying the Sales Order to A/R Invoice.
The "Draw Documents Wizard", where you can choose this option, starts only when you're in the "A/R Invoice" form and copying data from the Sales Order. But "Draw Document Wizard" doesn't start when you're in the Sales Order and copying all its data to an A/R Invoice, and they use only this sequence.
Is it possible to add the "Draw Documents Wizard" for the "Sales Order -> A/R Invoice" chain in one of the next versions of SAP BusinessOne 2007?
    Thanks!

  • DRQ : Draw Document Wizard only show limited details.

    Hi,
I'm not sure is this the correct place to do development request.
I found out that when do Copy from Function (eg. Do Delivery by Via Copy to function), Draw Document Wizard only show limited details. Width , height, length are not shown.
Our customer sells same item (Product Code) with difference  size and dimension. It is hard to select the item from the draw document wizard.
Even harder for documents that have a lot document lines with same product code.
Is there any plan for this req in the next upcoming patch?
    Please advise.
    Andy

    Hi Andy
What I understood from your explanation is you have one single item code, but the item has different sizes.  So, you are creating multiple lines for same item in base document (sales order/purchase order).
My question is to you, how are you capturing the sizes in the document.  Have you created any UDF to capture the sizes.
If your answer is 'Yes', then, you can include those UDFs in Draw Document Wizard -> Select Item to Copy (through Form Settings).  Also you can drag & drop those UDFs just beside your Item Code or Description, which will help user to understand the actual size/specification of the Item while drawing the base document into target.
If your answer is 'No', then you can create those required UDFs for Marketing Document -> Rows and store the values in the base document.  And while using Draw Document Wizard include those UDFs through Form Settings as explained above.

  • Search possibilty in Draw Document Wizard

    Dear All,
Most of my customers are getting trouble in the following scenario.
They are getting Sale order from their Customers every month with more than 200 Items in it.
While creating the Delivery document from Sale order, its very difficult for the user to search the Items from the list of 200 items.
Its consuming more time for the user to finish one delivery document.
There is any possibility to enhance the Draw document wizard or there is any work around to overcome this issue?
Looking forward some positive replies here.
    Thanks in advance,
    Bala

    Hi Rahul
Yes, I thought about the way of hiding/deactivating columns. The problem is that, potentially, a user can unhide and reactivate columns back... Looks like it is not safe 100%.
As a result the only thing we can do is remove "Form Settings" authorizations from ALL users, which is rather inconvinient, because some users would lie to play with the way documents look like, reports , etc...
The point here is "Change row amount" suddenly becomes not totally reliable  authorizatioon.
    Thank you

  • How to deactivate "Draw  Document Wizard "

    HI ,
When we Copy the Base Document to the Target Document .
There Comes a "DRAW DOCUMENT WIZARD" to draw all data ar to customize .
My Client wants that this wizard should not reflects to their users whenever they copy from the base document .
So is there any way to Deactivate the "Draw Documnt Wizards" over the transaction .
    Thanks
    Ashish

    hi ranjan,
Draw document wizard is standard functionality for copying a base document to target document,
Instead use Copy To to copy base document to target document.

  • Disable draw document wizard on AR Delivery screen?

    Hello,
Customer opens an delivery and copies data from an existing salesorder. Then you get the option of an draw document wizard.
Is it possible to directly copy the data from the salesorder without the draw document wizard screen popups???
    adding Transaction notification or something???
    Thanks
    Mark

    Hello Everyone
I would like to mention one thing related to the post.
When Draw Document Wizard is used, if " customize" is chosen during wizard, on the second screen, it  is possible for a user to modify both discounts and unit prices, even though "Change row amount" authorization for the user is set to "NO".
It contradicts the segregation of duties principles, since AR Invoice issuing and Prices modification shoud  be segregated
    normally.
Is there any information about the issue in the forums?
    Thank you

  • Tracking "Draw document wizard" via SDK for Copying details 1form to other

    hi all,
is it possible in SAP B1 to use copy from button in User defined form via SDK and use the Draw document wizard.
    let me explain.
we have two User form , one Request Form and other Completion Form. we have kept a "Copy Form" button in Completion Form, is there any possibility to copy the required data from the one Request Form to the  Completion Form using Draw document wizard.
which we can see in GRPO in SAP B1.
kindly revert back with a solution, its very urgent
    regards
    sandip

    Dear Sandip,
Going by the description here, I could suggest you a way around of keeping the required(from Form Request ) data in a temp storage like variables etc and then to use those variables in the new form (Form Completion).

  • Draw document wizard freight value

    Overview of Freight Setting
    1.  Admin>> Set up>> General>> freight
    2.  Freight set to $10 and drawing method set to NONE / or ALL.
    Scenario
    1.  Sales order has been created with line items and freight at the header level (say $10).
    2.  AR invoice window opened >> buisness partner selected >> Copy from Sales Order selected
    3.  Draw docuemnt wizard opens >> Select Customise >>Next >> Increase the qty of one of the line items, then next.
In the 'Select Freight charges to Copy 'the  DRAWING METHOD is 'total', and changes the value from $10, to a greater amount say $11.85.
Why is the Drawing method in the Draw docuemnt changing to 'total' (and changing the value from $10 to another value) .  Why is the draw method not ALL or NONE.  If the drawing method is ALL, the correct feight value of $10 occurs.
    Has a setting been overlooked? 2007A SP01 PL 08

    Regards,
    Rakesh N

    Hi Rakesh N,
version 8.8 supports fully the scenario you outline & I would recommend you upgrade to benefit from the new functionalities introduced in that version. Please have a look at the [8.8 landing page|https://service.sap.com/~sapidb/011000358700000199032009].
Using stand-alone documents & internally reconciling in the lower versions works beautifully on the accounting side yet impacts also the stock side, where corrections in stock value & item cost must be carried out manually.
    All the best,
    Kerstin

  • F110- Check Sort Based on document number

    Hi All,
We are using the program RFFOUS_C to print check when we are doing the payment run F110.
Presently, checks are sorted as per vendor name (Name 1) while printing. We need to print check sorted based on document (Invoice) number, field BELNR. SO, that checks are printed in the same order as we have entered invoices.
But the field BELNR field for sorting is not available in the application REGUH (Correspondence), which is a natural way to check print sorting. (In customizing FBZP, "Payment method in Company Code" form data, Sorting of corrpondence)
Is there a way, we can sort check based on the invoice number (BELNR). .
    Thanks
    Ron
Edited by: Ron on Jan 7, 2010 1:34 PM

    Hey Ron,
In Free Selection tab on F110 tcode, Pick Field name as BKPF-BELNR (Document number). Now create the proposal and do the payment run.
    Thanks

  • Converting text in Draw document to editable Text in Word Processing

I have created a Draw document consisting of photographs and text. I now want to send the text only to a colleague for sub-editing. How do I convert the one to the other, please?

    The easy way:
    --[SCRIPT extractRawTextFromAWdraw]
    Open an AppleWorks Draw document
    run the script.
You will get on the Desktop a text file entitled
    "extractedRawText.txt"
    containing the document's raw text.

  • Function modules supported by seal system used to print drawing documents

    Hi,
As per my current requirement, while create purchase order (ME21N), the drawing document (which are linked with materials of the PO) should print along with the PO form (smartform). The drawing are stored in the Auto CAD system. Seal software has already installed to print drawing documents.
But I would like to know the function modules supported by seal system used to print drawing documents.
    Thank you.
    Tulasi

    Tulasi,
May be you can approach it this way
create a ztable with fields matnr and graphic object(check STXBITMAPS table for the attributes of this field) and upload the drawings against every material. Now you will have a table containing the matnr and the corresponding drawing in the table which can be used for further  processing.
Hope  any of the SDN experts here will suggest a better solution.
    Kiran.
