Spaces and Adobe CS3 (Creative Suite 3)

I've noticed a strange flaw with Spaces and Adobe Creative Suite 3.
I initially set up a space for InDesign CS3. Then, because I needed to test something, I attempted to set up a separate space for InDesign CS2. The Spaces Preference Pane won't allow this!
It appears as though the creator codes (or whatever) are identical for CS2 applications and CS3 applications. If you have both installed on your Mac, the system only sees the latest version-CS3. If you have a CS3 application assigned to a particular space and then try to add the corresponding CS2 program, nothing will change. If you delete the CS3 Spaces assignment and then try adding the CS2 application, it will simply add the CS3 version again.
My question? Has anyone found a way to get CS2 and CS3 programs to live together in the Spaces Preference Pane simultaneously?

Please utilize any available Adobe uninstallers in the Programs and Features control panel. Once you have removed all Adobe software you can use the CC Cleaner Tool to help ensure complete removal. You can find details here- http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html.
Once you have completely removed all Adobe software and have run the CC Cleaner Tool you can then try reinstalling. If you need a fresh copy of the installation files the retail installers can be found at Download CS3 products.

Hi, i have adobe CS3 creative standard, in instaled on my new windows 7 machine, but i am not able to activate it online. the product is advising me to activate over the phone, and when i try activation over the phone i get auto answer that adobe no more provide activation over the phone.

if you're using the same computer hardware to reinstall your cs3, you don't need to deactivate first.
but if there's a significant hardware change you can ask adobe support for an activation count reset. contact adobe support by clicking here and, when available, click 'still need help', https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

I need to reinstall my CS3 creative suite I bought with a student license. It allows me to install but never asked for the serial number. I can open the programs but can not use them, get a "Adobe updater quit unexpectedly" message.

The original MAC laptop has died and I am trying to install it on a MAC desktop. the programs installs successfully but never ask for a serial number. the programs will open but I can not open any files, I get a Adobe Updater quite unexpectedly message. activate is grayed out. Registration is available and when I select it, it says "A problem was encountered while trying to send the information over the internet" So I select "submit again" and nothing happens. Then the program closes and I get the added updater quite message.

If you have Windows 7 Pro you can try to install CS3 in XP mode.

How do I uninstall Adobe CS6 Creative Suite

I have the Adobe CS6 Creative Suite installed and recently received CC. For the sake of harddrive space, I would like to uninstall the old CS6 programs and keep the CC versions. However, I cannot find the uninstall program for either the suite itself or any of the programs (Photoshop, etc.). What is the process of uninstalling the CS6 components?

Thanks for your reply. I was able to find help through a tech support chat session and the person helped me edit my /etc/hosts file and it solved the problem.
For anyone else experiencing this issue (Mac OS X):
Close all other programs and sign out from the Adobe Desktop App
From the Finder, Go > Go to Folder...
Type /etc and hit enter
Find "hosts" file (only "hosts", there were similar files such as hosts.config but only open the one that says "hosts"
Open the file, and replace the entire content with ### Host Database## localhost is used to configure the loopback interface#
Close the file, sign back into the Adobe Desktop App

Invalid Serial number for Adobe CS5 Creative Suite Master Collection

I bought a macbook pro off of Kijiji the other year and it came with the Adobe CS5 Creative Suite Master Collection. Just the other month I upgraded my system to OS X Yosemite and now every time I try to open my products, it asks for the serial number which, when entered is said to be invalid. Also, I don't have much information about the Adobe Products because the guy I bought it from didn't send the information with my computer. Can anybody help!

Installing new OS and Adobe CS3

I have an old Powermac G3 with a Power PC G4 400MHz processor installed and 512 MB memory.
I would like to install Mac OSX10.4(Its currently running 10.3.9) and Adobe CS3.
Will it have enough memory to install these?
If not, how much memory can I install?
The memory is in the form of 4X 128MB memory at the moment.

What size hard drive do you have & how much free space?
Tiger install DVDs are in short supply. Tiger is no longer available from Apple. For other sources, do a Google search for MA453Z/A (10.4.6), MA190Z/A (10.4.3) and M9639Z/A (10.4) . Also look on eBay. Be sure & buy a retail version (black with silver X) and not a model specific version (gray). Expect to pay (possibly a lot) more than the Apple list price of $129.
