SPAU List -- reset object back to Standard code
Hi Guys,
Is it possible to set a program back to the standard code after the modifications have been applied in the upgraded system?
When I try to reset the object, I get the message that it can not be reset back to the standard code since it has already been adjusted.
Is there a way to set it back to standard even after the object is adjusted?

This can be done with the help of Basis people.
He will again try to copy from the golden client and paste it as per your requirement.

How to skip the Print Screen List pop-up message with standard T-code?
Dear Experts,
I want to do not see the Print Screen List pop-up message with standard T-code.
Ex, sm66, sm51
click on print button -> Print Screen List pop-up message(SAPGUI) -> print windows dialog (X)
click on print button -> print windows dialog (O)
Is it possible to disappear it?

If you are refering to the print icon on the toolbar (CTRL+P), then no, it is not possible.
This printer dialog is necessary for front-end printing so you can choose the active printer.

Finding Information About User Privileges and Roles
This section discusses the system views that have the grant information.
The tricky part of this is that because roles can be granted to other roles the data is hierarchical.
So start with the grants made to the FDIREADR role. So referring to the doc above;
select * from role_role_privs where role = 'FDIREADR'will list the roles granted to your role.
You will want to look at ROLE_ROLE_PRIVS, ROLE_TAB_PRIVS and ROLE_SYS_PRIVS.
I suggest you walk thru the views manually to see how the information is related. Then write a test script that queries the views for you. -
All,
We are undergoing SP Upgrade and currently we are in SPAU Adjustment Status. During this I see that there are mainly 5 heads
1) Note Corrections
2) With Modification Assistant
3) Without Modification Assistant
4) Translations
5) Reset Objects
I have Adjusted the objects and now everything is green from 1 to 4. When I see into 5 (Reset Objects). I see some objects in Red X. Should I be concerned of that ? Moreover, can somone tell me what this Reset Objects means ?

Reset Objcets means object will be reset to original as per higher version on that system is upgrading.
some times during SPAU objects when you click on Reset to Original then it will move to Reset Tab from other 4 tabs you mentioned, click on Red X sign and add your userid as a processor.

After displaying result of report, my report goes back to source code edito
Hello experts,
I am currently having a big problem with my report. Here is the problem, after displaying the
result(write), when I press BACK button it is not going back to my selection-screen which is the
usual for reports. Now, what happens is that it goes back to the source code or worse, to the main menu of SAP.
What I want to do is that when I press BACK button it should go to either selection-screen 500 or
selection-screen 1500.
Here's a rough flow of what is happening in my report:
start report -> fetch records based on user input -> display results(not in ALV) ->
after displaying report, click 'BACK' button -> it goes back to source code
Now, here's what I want to do:
start report -> fetch records based on user input -> display results(not in ALV) ->
after displaying report, click 'BACK' button -> go back to either selection-screen 500 or 1500
or call again the transaction of my report.

Refresh or Regenerate SPAU List

I have deleted a Transport Request related to SPAU Adjustment. In SPAU (All those objects with Yellow Lights under W/o Modification Assistant Tree) i reset them to Original and System prompted for a Transport Request. Once the reset is done, I thought i should have used Adopt Modification (Sicne these Objects fall under W/o Modification Request Category). So i deleted the already created Transport Request in this Adjustment. Now i could not see those objects in SPAU list. To add another Transport Request, i have to pick them from SPAU list. But those Objects are not listed now in SPAU list. What should i do to get those objects back in SPAU? Is there any program to be Run to regenerate/Refresh the SPAU List. I hope i have described the issue in more detail. Please let me know if it is not clear. Please let me know your Solutions to this problem. I need your help urgently.

Thansk for your reply. They are listed in the SE95 with New Transports under the Reset Objects Tab. But i have deleted that Transport Request hoping that Deleting the transport Request will show up the Original SPAU List (Before Adopting Modification). So the Reset Objects List has the Invalid Transport request. Is it possible for me to attach other transport request to these Objects.

How to get the list of object that are going to modify during the upgrade?

ThanksUsually you get this list when upgrading first system (sandbox type) via SPDD and SPAU. (useful for objects modified in your system - SNOTE or mofications) - The whole list of modified objects will be huge, many (most) objects were modified (created, even deleted) those last 13 years.
There are also tools that may help you like [panaya|http://www.panayainc.com/] (but i'm not sure for a 4.0B, it worked fine for a 46c) - look for tools/vendor at [Partner Information Center: Search|http://www.sap.com/partners/directories/SearchSolution.epx]

The problem is I don't remember the password. When I connect it to iTunes it tell me that I have to write the password before it can be used with iTunes...... Do you have any good ideas? Authorization object for sales tax code (MWSKZ) in FB60
HI, there is a FI tcode FB60 in FI module. The requirement is that user wants to restrict some users to enter only few sales tax codes from among the list. For example if there are 30 tax codes, then user should be authorised to enter only 5 tax codes from the list. In standard authorization, there doesn't exist an authorization object to restrict tax codes. Kindly tell me the process of making authorization object for this task.
I have made one authorization object. I think i need to call this object somewhere in user exit of FB60. Is this the way of doing this?? Kindly if someone have done this, mention down the procedure of making authorization object and how to implement it. ThanksHi,
Instead of creating a authorization obejct and assigning it to the tax code, it will be easy to write the code in a user exit to check whether the tax code is applicable for the user. Suppose if the user enters a non-applicable tax code, you can throw an error.
Do u want to restrict the number of entries in F4 help for tax code for a particular user?

access to the native codeIf I have understood you correctly, you have native code that generates bytecode. Currently you load the class this bytecode represents right into the classloader, but you want to save it to disk as a .class file. Right?
If so, you just have to get hold of that bytecode before it "disappears" into the classloader, and save it to disk. How you can best do this depends on exactly how you communicate with that native code.
If I have misunderstood your problem (and that's not unlikely), please try to be clearer. -
IPhone Calendar List View Extends Back Only One Year
My iPhone calendar List view extends back approximately one year despite the fact that I have calendar entries extending back to 1999 and that older data is visible under the Day and Month views. This is a problem because the only search mechanism in iPhone calendar is through the List view. Therefore, any search I conduct extends back only to the data in the List view ... which means back only one year.
Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on how I could change this such that the List view extends to include ALL of my calendar entries and is in conformity with the Day and Month views? (I wanted to ask if anyone knows how to "correct" this, but perhaps Apple has designed it this way to speed-up the searching in List view ... I'm not certain.)
I am currently running the most recent iOS update, am syncing my iPhone calendar via MobileMe, have upgraded to the new version of the MobileMe calendar, and have ALREADY reset my sync. history, deleted my iPhone calendar and re-synced it, etc. These don't resolve the problem.I've noticed that the date to which the List View will "look back" will change depending on software updates or syncs.
For instance, a few weeks ago my List View went back to December 2009 ... now it goes back to Jan. 2010 (i.e. I lost a month of "look back"). I do not specifically recall what triggered this change, but I reset my sync. log during this period.
If you make no changes to the sync. log or update the software, the List View start date will stay constant I believe. For instance, if the List View goes back to Jan. 1, 2010 right now it should stay that way until you reset the sync. log or update the iPhone software. Theoretically then the List View can "look back" much longer than 12 months assuming you make no changes to the sync. log or update the software. Of course, this doesn't address our issue here, but I thought I would point out that there seems to be a consistent pattern here and not some random bug screwing things up.
I'm still thinking that this is the way Apple intended it to work. In other words, that Apple felt it necessary to limit the calendar search feature to approximately 12 months worth of calendars. I hope I'm wrong. -
Entity object attribute with a list of objects
Does anyone know how one sets up an entity object that has an attribute with a list of objects as the type? (assuming that's supported)
as in:

The SOA Suite in jDeveloper (new Entity Object/attributes etc) has an ARRAY that can point to REF or OBJECT. Neither work. When I try to Create DB Object later from the Entity Object I've created I get an invalid type.What you suggested about "validation codes on the VO" is not written on the ADF Documentation.
I try to blindly/strictly follow best practices (particularly on Validations, using Declartive and/or built in validators) on most ADF documentation and blogs but there are many scenarios on coding some large ADF projects that I think must veer away from the best practices stated on the documentation or maybe add new rules on the documentation depending on how complex an ADF project would be.
I religiously followed best practices stated on the documentation to use Entity and Attribute Validators when performing validations. What I did was i had created lots of Custom Validators (by implementing JboVAlidatorInterface interface) for each of the attributes on an Entity Object that need validated. So those validator is valid only for one attribute, its not reusable. And those validation codes either have reference to a ViewObject or call some PL/SQL procedure. So at some point are codes became messy.
Ultimately the whole project became harder to manage when the codes became large. Now I am trying to refactor the whole application by separating it into project/package and I am hoping to do it with little Re-coding as possible.
Hope to get your opinion on this one.
