If you cancel the offer in a year, you lose PS CC and LR CC in a year. But if you own LR5, you will still have LR5.

Special Offer for Existing Creative Suite 6 Users

I purchased in December 2012 an Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master license for EUR 3,219.00.
Today I learned that Adobe will in future provide the new Creative Suite applications only via Creative Cloud and that I am entitled to a special discount for the first year Creative Cloud subscription (i.e. monthly price of EUR 24.59 instead of EUR 61.49).
So I am able to save EUR 442.80 for the first year of the Creative Cloud subscription.
As the new Creative Cloud applications are available from June 2013 I also saved the monthly subscription prices for December 2012 till May 2013 (i.e. 6 months) and therefore further EUR 368.94 (= 6 x EUR 61.49).
Subsequently, I would have the following disadvantages if I subscribe in June for the Creative Cloud:
- EUR 2,407.26 additional costs compared to a Creative Cloud subscription in December 2012 (i.e. = 3,219.00 - EUR 442.80 - EUR 368.94)
- I am only able to use Adobe Acrobat XI from June onwards
No I am just wondering why I do not feel happy about the generous special offer I received from acrobat and the fact that I saw now warning on the acrobat homepage in December that I have to switch to the Creative Suite in June 2013 if I would like to use the current applications in future.

MAybe won´t help - but you are not alone.

I am trying to buy Skype Premium and want to get the 12-month subscription (50% off) offer prominently displayed on the price page (http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/prices/premium)...
However, when you click on the "Buy Now" button, in the page that comes up, the Monthly ($8.99) radio button is automatically selected and you cannot change to the 12-month option.
Why is this? Why can't I buy what is prominently advertised?

Adobe advertises to me on the special offer for Adobe Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5 for US$ 9.99 per month. When I try to purchase, it says not availble in my country. This is very deceptive. Why advertise to me if I cannot use the special offer? I already own Lightroom 5 which I purchased a while back. If this is the way we are treated then I will not renew any of Adobe products and find something else to use. José Masson

If you have the PS+LR bundle, then you should install the Creative Cloud app, first. One CC is installed, it’ll show all your eligible products on its Apps list, with Install buttons next to the apps you’re licensed to use, and Trial or Try next to the apps you’re not licensed to use.
The CC app is the first thing on the Adobe Products page. It is a desktop app, not tablet app.

BofA "your special offer"

I signed into my bank of america account and on the top left it has "your special offer" for an alaskan airlines card with a 25k point bonus. Is this for everyone or is this actually a customized offer for me? I doubt I would even get approved but just curious.

It's a customized offer in the sense that you are a BofA customer, they want to get people into the AK Airlines card... and oh, yeah, you need to read the fine print about the approval possibilities. If you are qualified for the VISA Sig, you get the 25k miles and at least a $5k line. if NOT, then you start stepping down to the next available card, and if not qualified for that, I think there's even a third tier card they will try to qualify for you. AFAIK, the two lower tier cards do not have the companion pass, but do have lower AF. So you may get something out of the HP, but there's no guarantee it will be a VISA Signature card.

Creative Cloud - Special Offer (Business)

Does anyone know if Adobe's "Special offer for CS customers"-promotion (the one that requires prior purchase of CS3 or later) is permanent or just a time-limited offer? I wonder if the offer is still there in a couple of weeks, 'cause I'm waiting for a new desktop computer to run the thing before I subscribe.

I choose to use LP9 with Snow Leopard myself (10.6.8 and 9.1.6) for most of my commercial work simply because I find that combo very stable and provides the best overall performance for my setups here... but I am also using LPX with Mavericks as part of my client support and that works fine too although with a drop in performance due to the heavier demands made on the hardware by the newer OS X and LPX graphic routines for example..
