Specify row height in table using html?

How do I accurately specify row heights in html for use in rich text emails? The row heights tend to grow in height (approx 20px) when tested in Thunderbird. I want the row heigth to be 1px high. Please see a line of code below:
HTML 4.01 Transitional
<td height="1" bgcolor="#999999"></td>

The old school method was to use clearpixel.gifs as space holders.

    Hi,
    Follow the below logic,
    PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
      MODULE STATUS_0001.
      MODULE POPULATE_TABLE_CONTROL. --> Get the data from table store in
                                                                          ITAB
      LOOP AT GT_CTRL_LP_D516 INTO GS_WA_CTRL_LP_D516

      The following module moves data to control
        MODULE MOVE_TO_CONTROL.--> Move data from ITAB to table control

    PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
      LOOP AT GT_CTRL_LP_D516.

  • How to increase row height in table control?

    Hi experts,
    We have a push button in table control created using screen painter. Since this is a touch screen transaction, the default height is very small for the worker in the plant to click on a specific row, i would like to know if there is any way to increase the row height in the table control. There is no attribute in Screen painter for increasing row height in table control. I did try "import dynpro", hoping to increase the row height and export the dynpro, but that doesn't seem to have row height attributes. Any help in this regard is highly appreciated. Thanks,
    Raj

    Using a new technology means you have to recreate your screen: you may create an HTML using CL_DD_* classes (that's called "Dynamic Documents"). See [SAP Library - DD programming guide|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/13/12284b019511d4a73e0000e83dd863/frameset.htm]. Demos are provided in SDYNAMICDOCUMENTS package. Or I think you may create web dynpro and define a CSS style to enlarge objects.
    If you don't want to create everything, maybe you can find out a workaround with GuiXT, for example creating a big button in each row (for example, with BUTTONSIZE, but don't know if it changes the height of rows but that's worth trying).
    Well, [Synactive documentation about table controls|http://www.synactive.com/docu_e/specials/tables.html] does not seem to allow that.
    Maybe you can move your question to the "scripting" forum and ask about how to do it with GuiXT...

  • Updating a row of a table using rowid

    Hi folks,
    I am trying to update some rows in a table using rowid of the corresponding rows.Sometimes this updates wrong rows. This is because ORACLE by itself makes some statistics on the particular table using "Analyze table..." statement and it changes the order of the rowids. But if I delete the statistics,the updation works fine. Is there any way to update the correct rows and also to keep the statistics created by ORACLE? P.s: I am using ORACLE thin Driver to connect to Oracle 8.1.6
    Thanks,
    Karthi.

    First make it clear: analyze table command never changes ROWIDs. Actually, the ROWID of a row never changes untill it's deleted from its table. So make sure if you are using the correct ROWID.
    Thnx

  • Row height in tables

    Hello,
    I want to set the height of tables rows but I couldn't find the function or the right way to do it.
    The table is in Column mode.
    The row size mode is set to Use Explicit Size
    First I remove all rows and columns and then the following code:
    InsertTableColumns (SA_ScatPosPanel, P_MULT_ROT_Z_TABLE, 1, NbX_Points, VAL_USE_MASTER_CELL_TYPE);
    ColWidth = PlotAreaWidth / NbX_Points;
    SetTableColumnAttribute (SA_ScatPosPanel, P_MULT_ROT_Z_TABLE, -1, ATTR_COLUMN_WIDTH, ColWidth);
    InsertTableRows (SA_ScatPosPanel, P_MULT_ROT_Z_TABLE, 1, NbY_Points, VAL_USE_MASTER_CELL_TYPE);
    What should I add for setting also the row heights?
    Thank you
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    I finally found the solution.
    I did a mistake, by setting Size Mode to Use Explicit Size in the first row in the uir I thought it was the default value for all rows.
    I think the documentation is not completely correct because it says that SetTableRowAttribute has no effect on existing cells but for the row height it has. That's the reason why I was looking to find a solution with SetTableCellRangeAttribute () as recommended.
    I also tried with SetTableRowAttribute but because Size Mode was not correct it didn't work.
    With this code it works:
    for (i=1; i<=NbY_Points; i++)
    InsertTableRows (SA_ScatPosPanel, P_MULT_ROT_Z_TABLE, i, 1, VAL_USE_MASTER_CELL_TYPE);
    SetTableRowAttribute (SA_ScatPosPanel, P_MULT_ROT_Z_TABLE, i, ATTR_SIZE_MODE, VAL_USE_EXPLICIT_SIZE);
    SetTableRowAttribute (SA_ScatPosPanel, P_MULT_ROT_Z_TABLE, i, ATTR_ROW_HEIGHT, RowHeight);

  • Specify row height in cell style

    Sometimes you have rows in a table that need to be a certain height. It would be great to be able to specify the height in a cell style.
    Along the same line : add aid:crowheight attribute for tables in XML

    Are you looking for the size like this (it appears when you have a row selected within the table):

  • Deleting a row from a table using jsp

    Given a table in a jsp, can an user click on a row of that table and retrieve the information so that the program can delete a record from a database table?
    most of the tables that I have seen are static, the user cannot interact with them(specially when the user wants to delete several records from a database table).
    Can anyone suggests a good book or way of deleting a row from table using jsp.

    eg use a column in the table that has a radio button or check box,
    on submit, get all the rows that are checked, using the row as an index into your db store, get the key and use the key to issue the sql delete command.

  • Trapping the selected row in the table using boolean checkbox

    Hi,
    I am using Jdev 11.1.1.2.0 with ADF 11g.
    I have a screen that has a table with an additional column of 'Select boolean checkbox'. I have assigned a valuechangelistener method that helps me know which row has been selected. But the issue is it gets fired for all the rows in the table once I select/de-select a checkbox of 1 single row.
    How can I handle this? Yes I can iterate through the table rows and check the values of the checkbox. But that is not I want, I also want to trap the de-select event.
    What is the way to achieve this?

    Timo Hahn wrote:
    I don't see a bug in this behavior. This is because each row gets stamped when they render.
    The way to do this is to use an attribute (which can be transient) to hold the status of the check box. Exactly this does the link I gave.
    TimoHi,
    Why I am saying it as a bug is because it is not firing the event for the record where the event has occurred. instead the event is fired for each row which should definitely not what is expected. And because of this we have to add an additional variable.
    Now it becomes more complex if I have to handle de-selection as well, b'coz if the valuchangelistener is going to fire for all the records then I need to know which row was previously selected and now de-selected as now the de-selected record will also return a false.
    So any better solution, anyone?

  • Inserting Multiple Rows into Database Table using JDBC Adapter - Efficiency

    I need to insert multiple rows into a database table using the JDBC adapter (receiver).
    I understand the traditional way of repeating the statement multiple times, each having its <access> element. However, I am just wondering whether this might be performance-inefficient, as it might insert records one by one.
    Is there a way to ensure that the records are inserted into the table as a block, rather than record-by-record?

    Hi Bhavesh/Kanwaljit,
    If we have multiple ACCESS tags then what happens is that the connection to the database is made only once. But the data is inserted row by row.
    Why i am saying this?
    If we add the following in JDBC Adapter..logSQLStatement = true. Then incase of multiple inserts we can see that there are multiple
    <i>Insert into tablename(EMP_NAME,EMP_ID) VALUES('J','1000')
    Insert into tablename(EMP_NAME,EMP_ID) VALUES('J','2000')</i>
    Doesnt this mean that rows are inserted one by one?
    Correct me if i am wrong.
    This does not mean that the transaction is not guaranted. Either all the rows will be inserted or rolled back.
    Regards,
    Sumit
