Spry accordian works in every other browser apart from firefox. Clearly I have done something stupid - anyone care to help me out?

Why does goolgeearth work with Safari & Chrome but not Firefox

When in firefox using Google maps and click on "EARTH" I receive a window indicating that to use 3D I need to install 21.0 Google Earth Plug-in with a "Download" option to click on. Note: Firefox 21.0 and MAC OS 10.7.5 have all current software updates installed. Safari & Chrome do not request for any plug-ins and 3D Earth option works fine. ANY HELP?
PS. my MAC does have an Intel HD Graphics 3000 installed but my MAC, Safari & Chrome work fine.

JKELLETT, That initially happen to me also. When you go to dolinsky296's suggested website https://www.google.com/earth/explore/products/plugin.html I saw "Download plug-in" box in the middle of the globe. When I click it the download executed but the plug-in never got installed. Then I clicked on "Download Google Earth" in the ''upper right corner'' of the website and life was good. Google Earth now works in Firefox.

Dropbox attachment sync with yahoo mail works in Chrome but not firefox.

In the beginning on April 2013, Yahoo mail added the feature of attaching a files straight from dropbox. This feature works fine when I select it in Google Chrome. When I select the option in Firefox it opens up the little window and has the loading wheel. It just stays at that stage forever. Where as in Chrome the dropbox window opens in 2 seconds. Is there as setting I need to change or and add on that I need to get? What's the problem?

Skype click to call works in Chrome,but not Firefox, and it's on, why?

I use both Chrome and Firefox, I prefer Firefox on my Laptop. I installed Skype and click to call on both, everything is current, including FF. I click the Skype link in Chrome, it goes to the Skype permission page then dials out, works fine. I go to the Skype-highlighted link in Firefox, the little dropdown comes down under the link, and I click call, again, nothing. I went to Skype, and a tech remotely went through my issue himself and could not find the problem, and suggested contacting Mozilla support. AARRGH . Please help.

Works in preview and IE but not Firefox

Hi All,
I have a 6 page prototype in Fw with each page containing mutliple types of behaviors (rollovers, swaps, nav bar). They all work great in "preview and IE". However, in Firefox I have 3 out of 4 rollovers on the same page that do not work. I have tried both rollover and image swap. All the other slice/behaviors on all the other pages work in "preview, IE and Firefox"?

Hi Linda,
When I exported the project all of the pages worked correctly. I was able to show the prototype with everything working. I later rebuilt the page from scratch and everything worked in preview mode as well as once exported.

Horizontal menu bar with image dropdowns works perfectly in Safari & Chrome but . . .

Specifically, the vertical spacing between the .gifs at the tertiary menu level -- hover over services / project types. In Safari and Chrome the .gifs all butt up against each other properly, which I achieved with the block property after much trial and error. But there's still separation between them when viewed in IE and FF.
I would greatly appreciate any wisdom from the forum.

Hi Beth, I have been going crazy on this end with the Sub Menus showing up at the top of the Internet Explorer Browser. They work fine in FF and Chrome...

Ok, I used to be able to open links up in a new Tab using my middle mouse button. However, I updated firefox with the automatic Updates on the 26th of October and now I no longer can open links with my middle mouse button. Why? I use this feature just about every time I go searching on the internet so I really would like it back. For some reason I cannot download and view PDFs from a website, It works in chrome, but not Firefox, please help.

When attempting to download a PDF, (detailed bill description) the download appears in the OS X download folder. When attempting to click on that file, a warning comes up that the file is empty.
When I switch browsers and navigate to the same page, (Chrome), the document downloads and I'm able to view the document.
I updated the browser to version 33.1, but that didn't help.

Java works on Chrome but not Firefox. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. Chacked all appropriate boxes in Control Panel. Deleted JavaReg.Dat. Enabled plugin. Uninstalled all Java from my computer and reinstalled. Cleared Firefox Cache. No luck.

Do you see the Java plugin in Tools > Add-ons > Plugins ?
Firefox is a 32 bit application, so you need to install the 32 bit Java version.

Paste image from clipboard works in Chrome but not in Firefox

I would like to know a bit more about the technical reasons why image pasting from clipboard works on Chrome but not Firefox.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the text editor on github.com, e.g. by commenting on an issue
2. Copy an image to clipboard
3. Put the mouse cursor into the text editor area
4. Use CTRL+V to paste the image into the text editor
On Chrome, the image is pasted and automatically uploaded on Github. On Firefox nothing happens.
Can someone please shed light on this lacking feature?
I would so much love to see support for this on Firefox as it is a very convenient functionality.

The best is to try it yourself I guess.
Go to Github and try pasting an image into the compose editor.
The editor definitely supports image pastings. They work directly in Chrome(ium).
Thus I am wondering why Firefox does not support direct pasting from clipboard into the editor.

Spry tooltip works in IE but not Firefox

If you have the ClickToFlash extension installed, that can prevent Flash based video from streaming. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
It can also be installed as a plugin in /Library/Internet-Plug-Ins.
Try uninstalling the currently installled Flash plugin (required for most YouTube content) then reinstall new > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
From your Safari menu bar top of your screen click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now from the menu bar click Develop > Empty Caches
