Spry output field validation

Question

I have the  following code, the table data in red is for a link. I need some help. I don't want to show this link image if the field is emtpy and i have been doing a bit of reading
and i can't figure out which direction to go and what would be the best way to restrict the output.

I changed to the following two lines and it works fine
<td spry:if="'{@video}'"><a href="{@video}" target="_blank"><img src="images/video_image2_30.jpg" /></a></td>
<td spry:if="!'{@video}'"><a href="{@video}" target="_blank"> </a></td>
The second line ensures that the column remains intact. Just copy and paste instead of your single line.
