SQL LOADER LOADING PROBLEM

LOAD DATA
INFILE 'C:\EDCH2.csv'
INSERT INTO TABLE FCT_FILE_DUMMY
FIELDS TERMINATED BY ',' OPTIONALLY ENCLOSED BY '"'
TRAILING NULLCOLS
FILE_NAME_ID_KEY,
FILE_DATE date 'dd/mm/yy' NULLIF FILE_DATE=BLANKS
The csv file contains null data in file_date field .
sample data as shown below
FILE_NAME FILE_DATE
a 10/22/2006
b 8/21/2006
c
d
e 9/15/2006
But c and d rows are not inserted into table ..errors showing
rejected error on table FCT_FILE_DUMMY,column FILE_DATE
ORA-01843:not a valid month

The sample data seems that FILE_DATE is in the mm/dd/yyyy format, so change the following line
FILE_DATE date 'dd/mm/yy' NULLIF FILE_DATE=BLANKS
as
FILE_DATE date 'mm/dd/yyyy' NULLIF FILE_DATE=BLANKS
and try loading, it works.

  • Essbase substitution variable used for SQL Dimension load-URGENT

    Hi All,
I am creating one dimension through SQL Dimension load rule writing by parent child build rule. The SQL query is like below---
    distinct trim(dist_mobile),trim(ret_mobile) from dist_retailer al1 where al1.proc_dt=to_date(&Proc_date,'dd/mm/yyyy')
When I fixed the value of proc_date (e.g.- '27/09/2008') then it is retrieving data properly, but when I try to make the same as a essbase variable as shown above (to give user the priviledge to select for which date data will be fetched from RDBMS to create the dim) and after setting the aforesaid value of that variable in essbase subs var screen and click 'OK/Retrieve' in rule,it is returning no rows executing the query as well as no error coming.
I guess in query nothing is wrong but the subs variable part is not working. Can anybody please give some insight to resolve the problem.
In this context, I would like to mention that I will have to use substitution variable in some other rule file also to automate the load process. How can I use essbase subs variable in SQL load rule? Could you please show me a proper summarise query illustrating how to use the subs var in aforesaid purpose for the sake of understanding?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Sorry for delayed response. Appreciate your inputs. At last I have found out the solution which is as below----
    distinct trim(dist_mobile),trim(ret_mobile) from dist_retailer al1 where al1.proc_dt=to_date('&Proc_Dt','dd/mm/yyyy')
after setting the substitution variable as Proc_Dt and set the value as 27/09/2008 (without any quotation mark or such sign) now I checked and now it is retrieving fine.
    Thanks & Regards.

  • SQL UN loader ????

    Hi there
Does anyone know of a SQL UN Loader, that can be run on the client?
Getting data out of oracle into ie CSV, TXT files, BLOBS-> files etc?
The very opposite of SQL Loader in fact?
    Mette
PS I know that we can all just write sql*plus scrips, java, c# applications - but a more generic version would be nice - and maybe someone out there knows of one appl. like that

    HI
Michaels2: I found a reference to lob.zip on the website you referenced: [http://www.dbatools.net/mytools/unload_upload_oracle_lobs.html] and this solves 50% of our problems. Thanks a lot - this is a cmd prompt tool, which we can automate with the job sceduler from any client. Great ! I also downloaded and have done a little test of the ociuldr - and it works just a perfectly - and even creating SQL Loader statements for the other way sa well. Thank you very much for this info. Now its gonne be a nice weekend after all .....
Others: We dont have - and never will get - access to the server at file level, so the solution above is very nice and just what I was looking for. We do have Enterprise Edition, java etc etc etc enabled - but with no rights to access server this does not get us very far. Thats why we are looking for a reversed "SQL Loader" :-)
    regards
    Mette

  • Creative Zen loading music problem

"Creative Zen loading music problem?I just started using a creative zen (DVP-FL000, 6Gb) player and i'm having?a few issues copying music onto it.
I have loaded the latest firmware (.2.03e) onto it and formatted it so was clean when i started loading my music on.
I'm using winamp on winxp to copy my music to the player, but occasionally i get tracks that wont copy to the player. Winamp just shows 'unspecified error'. If a file fails to copy it will never copy, no matter how many times i try. Somtimes its a random track, sometimes an entire album.
So i also tried copying the tracks that wont copy using windows explorer, it appears to copy but the file never appears on the device. The same is also true when i try it on my Windows7 laptop with explorer, it will appear to be copying but then part way through it will report that the device has stopped responding.
It only seems to happen with windows media files, all my mp3s copy fine. The files that dont copy probably represent about 0% of my music but play fine on all my other players.
sorry for the long post, just really scratching my head with this one!
    anyone have any ideas?

    solved
did a 'clean up' in the recovery menu, no problems transferring tracks since

  • Loading themes problem

I'm posting this again, since i got no response in a topic which is "answered" whereas it's actually not :
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=7989694&#7989694
Same "loading themes" problem for me, with iDVD 7.2.
I tried deleting the preferences file and started again idvd, nothing.
The only thing i can do to have it work is use another account, as a matter of fact. But i'd rather use my account, so i'd like to reinstall idvd. but how can i do it?
    thanks
    stéphane

Actually, iDVD used to work on the other account, because it was kind of blank (there was no video in it). I've just created a new imovie project, on this second account : now there are files in the "Videos" folder (sorry for my english, i'm not sure what's the word on a mac in english, but it french the folder is named "Séquences"), and iDVD freezes again. Even on the second account.
So, to sum up: *as soon as there is one file in the Video folder* (whether a imovie file or any other, like any .avi file), iDVD cant open and freezes...
dont you think that it could be worth reinstalling iDVD? but how? Or maybe there are other applications to make DVDs?
(all software is up to date on my mac)

  • SQL loader load data very slow...

    Hi,
On my production server have issue of insert. Regular SQL loder load file, it take more time for insert the data in database.
First 2 and 3 hours one file take 8 to 10 seconds after that it take 5 minutes.
As per my understanding OS I/O is very slow, First 3 hours DB buffer is free and insert data in buffer normal.
But when buffer is fill then going for buffer waits and then insert is slow on. If it rite please tell me how to increase I/O.
Some analysis share here of My server...................

  • Cocoon2 weblogic (5.1 sp6) class loader security problem

    Hello folks,
    System:
    Cocoon: v2.0
JDK: Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.0-C),
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.0-C, mixed mode)
    OS: NT4 SP5
    Servlet: v2.2
    AppServer: Weblogic 5.1 SP6
    Symptoms:
I've updated our application from Cocoon 1.7.4 to Cocoon2. After I
figured out what libraries I need on the Weblogic's classpath, I managed
to envoke the MyServlet (MyServlet extends CocoonServlet). The technique
I am using is the one I used with the Cocoon v1.7.4: extend Cocoon
servlet and wrap the HttpServletRequest in MyRequest to provide the XML
content. I changed the line <map:generators default="request"> in
sitemap.xmap to specify the location of the source. Configuration files
seem to be read correctly and the file
    <myWebAppContext>/WEB-INF/_tmp_war/org/apache/cocoon/www/sitemap_xmap.java
is generated (but there is no class file generated)!
I looked at the cocoon.log file and looks like a class loader security
problem: the \WEB-INF\_tmp_war gets locked! Is there any workaround this
problem? Any help is much appreciated!

    Regards,
    Georgi

    Hello folks,
    System:
    Cocoon: v2.0
JDK: Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.0-C),
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.0-C, mixed mode)
    OS: NT4 SP5
    Servlet: v2.2
    AppServer: Weblogic 5.1 SP6
    Symptoms:
I've updated our application from Cocoon 1.7.4 to Cocoon2. After I
figured out what libraries I need on the Weblogic's classpath, I managed
to envoke the MyServlet (MyServlet extends CocoonServlet). The technique
I am using is the one I used with the Cocoon v1.7.4: extend Cocoon
servlet and wrap the HttpServletRequest in MyRequest to provide the XML
content. I changed the line <map:generators default="request"> in
sitemap.xmap to specify the location of the source. Configuration files
seem to be read correctly and the file
    <myWebAppContext>/WEB-INF/_tmp_war/org/apache/cocoon/www/sitemap_xmap.java
is generated (but there is no class file generated)!
I looked at the cocoon.log file and looks like a class loader security
problem: the \WEB-INF\_tmp_war gets locked! Is there any workaround this
problem? Any help is much appreciated!

  • Exel to SQL DFTask loads some Null records

I have an SSIS package to import Excel data into SQL. When I look at Excel I dont see ANY Null rows. However when I run the SSIS package and check SQL, It loads some NULL RECORDS IN SQL. WHy is that It loads Null records in SQL, When i cannot see the Null
    recs In Excel?

That's because the person who created the Excel file and added the data to it pressed the "Enter" key on some of the empty cells under that specific column. In excel, such a row might look like any other empty, non-data row but for SSIS, its an
actual data row except that it doesn't have any value. SSIS treats a missing data value as a DBNULL and that's what you saw.
There are multiple ways of fixing this.
    1. Educate the creator of the excel to be more careful at the time of data entry.
    2. Make that target column in the DB table as NOT NULL.
    3. Handle such "empty" data values as exception inside your SSIS (using a data flow task and ignoring such rows).
    4. Switch to using CSV file format instead of excel format.
    5. All of the above :)
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers!
    Muqadder.

  • Limitation of BitmapData loaded into memory through Loader.load()

I am creating a photo gallery using Loader.load() to load
pictures into Flash Player 9. I plan to make them preloaded in
advance so when the users turn the page they can see the pic on the
new page right away without waiting. So the pics are loaded one
after another automatically on backend. When users request a new
page, the bitmap object are simply added onto the page’s
    display list.
I publish the code and test on IE 6 and Firefox 1.5. Only
about 50 pics can be preloaded on FF and about 70 pics on IE. I
read some articles talking about memory problem of Loader in Flash
8.5 alpha. So is it still a problem for "Flash 9 Actionscript 3
Preview Alpha" ? Check the article -
    http://www.jessewarden.com/archives/..._battlefi.html
Please see attached my code for preloading job. No error is
    thrown.
Please advise. Thank you very much

    Hi,
if it's a IA report the limit of columns you can show at the same time is 100,
    check http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17556_01/doc/user.40/e15517/limits.htm for more limnitations.

  • Stall after Loader.load() any .png iOS7

My app includes a script to load several .jpg or .png "slides".  I make an array and then load the first one, when its Event.COMPLETE fires, I load the next one.  I've found that when running on the iPad it will usually pause for a good 30-60 seconds immediately after I call Loader.load() if the file is a .png.  I say that it pauses because I don't even get the progess events to fire until it finally commences.  But then it seems to always recover, fires the progress events and finally the Event.COMPLETE.  It only happens on the device--not the "test movie" similator.  Using AIR 3.9.0.960 in Flash CS6.
Any ideas?  I can make a simple example that demonstrates the problem if need be.

    Hi,
Thanks for reporting the problem. Could you please answer following?
    Is this specific to iOS7?
Is this specific to any particular iOS device type? iPhone or iPad?
Does this happen only on 3.9 builds or you've encountered this on older versions (3.8?) of AIR SDK as well?
We request you to file a bug on bugbase.adobe.com with a sample set of files which demonstrate the problem. Also, please report back the bug number here on the forum.
    -Thanks

  • ADDED event in loader.load and loader.loadBytes

    Hi all,
I got this very strange behavior from FlashPlayer debugger 10.1 r82. When I call loader.load method, no ADDED event is dispatched to the loader object. But if I open the file and call loader.loadBytes instead, an ADDED event is dispatched to the loader object. I suspect the ADDED event is dispatched because the content is being set as the child of Loader object, but why in the other case it is not dispatched? Is this a bug?
    Cheers
    Sam

    var obj:Loader = new Loader();
    var url:URLRequest = new URLRequest("fixtures/loader_1.png");
    obj.addEventListener(Event.ADDED, function(e:Event):void {
          trace("added");
    obj.load(url);
added was never printed, i know using anonymous functions as listener are
bad, i am just doing a test here. Funny enough, it was working for me
sometime and it works totally fine in Flash professional. It changed
sometime this week, I suspect is the new FlashPlayer debugger i installed
causing the problem, but i cannot be sure.
    Thanks
    Sam

  • How to solve Oracle SQL Developer connection problem ?

    Folks,
Hello. I am using Oracle Database 11gR1. The Database Control Console https://localhost.localdomain:1158/em works correctly. I can create a Database and a table successfully.
My OS is Linux and connects to internet successfully.
In order to run SQL statements. we need to use Oracle SQL Developer. I connect Oracle SQL Developer in the following way:
Connection Name: DB1 (this is my database name as well)
Username: SYS (this is the user name I used to login to the Console)
Password: SYS (this the password used to login to the Console)
    Connection Type: Basic
    Host Name: localhost
    Port: 1158
SID: DB1 (this is created during installing the Database)
But the error message comes up: "Status: Failure - IO exception Connection Reset."
Can any folk tell me how to solve Oracle SQL Developer connection problem ?

Can any folk tell me how to solve Oracle SQL Developer connection problem ?username: sys
password: enter_your_correct_password given at the time of oracle installation
role: select sysdba if you would connect as sysdba else select normal for users other than sys
hostname: enter your oracle server hostname or ip address eg:- 192.168.11.12
to find the hostname open terminal/command prompt in oracle installed machine
    type ---> hostname
    type ---->ping hostname
you can find the ipaddress of the server
port number: 1521 (default) ----> i guess , else check the port number in the tnsnames.ora file under your ORACLE_HOME/network/admin folder
    SID: DB1
    try it
    Good Luck

  • RE: Database (SQL-SERVER) access problem

Have you used NT Control Panel/ ODBC to set up the ODBC data source name?
You have to define the data source (database) SecTrade as well as the
driver to be used (SQL Server). This can be done by selecting the Add
button on the Data Sources screen in Control Panel/ ODBC.
    Hope this helps.

    Hi Forte-Users,
We have a setup a Sql-Server database on a NT server. In the Forte
    EConsole,
    we have
setup a ODBC-type Resource for this server, named SERVER2_ODBC. This NT
    server
is configured as a Client Node in the active Forte environment. Note
    that
    Server2 is not
the Forte server, but has Forte installed. There is another NT server
    which
    acts as the
Forte server. NODEMGR and Sql-Server are running on SERVER2.
In our application, we have a DBSession SO with the database source
as SERVER2_ODBC, Userid=ForteInstructor. When running the application,
    Forte
throws an exception, the gist of it being as follows:
USER ERROR: (This error was converted)
Failed to connect to database: SecTrade, username: ForteInstructor.
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no
    default
    driver specified
    We have tried
    1) Installing ODBC drivers on the NT server (Server2)
    2) Accessing local databases from Forte clients which works fine
    3) Accessing the Sql-Server database through Isqlw (Sql-Server Client
    s/w) -
    It works.
Could someone suggest what we should try to get rid of this problem?
    Thanks for any help,
