  • Generate Report -List item permissions against Each list Item

    Hi,
    I want to get "Item Permission" against each list item from List.
    I need to prepare a Report from this Information.
    Can anyone please help to get "Item Permission" against each list

    Hi,
    About how to enumerate permissions of each items using PowerShell, code snippet provided by Nancy in this similar thread would be helpful:

    With the data retrieved, then you can export it to a .csv file:

  • Sql report on item - problem with commas in the string

    I have a simple report that groups all the Job Titles entered on our database.
    I pass the job title to an apex item and then on a second page list the records that match that job title using:
    and ed.ede_job_title = :P35_JOB_TITLE
    If there is a comma in the job title the report returns the records that match the string up to the point the comma appears not the full string.
    So 'Project Manager, Operations' matches all the 'Project Manager' records.
    Also when there is a leading space in the job title the report displays the jobtitle without the leading space.
    Apologies if this is answered elsewhere, I did search.

    Check the actual URL up in the location bar. Your comma may actually be dropping out there, because it isn't encoded such that in value commas can be differentiated from delimiters, so the fields aren't lining up in the URL properly.
    When you go to a page that takes in parameters for assignment in the link, it has 2 fields. The first is the comma separated list of the item names on the page to assign, which wouldn't contain commas in their names. The other field in the URL is a comma separated list of values to be assigned to the previous list. Since these values aren't encoded, the comma in the value is picked up as delimiter and not a part of the value. I have an example I can load up to apex.oracle.com if you need.

  • How to refresh list item values before report is run?

    We have two SELECT LIST items (drop boxes) on our report. One SELECT LIST has values of "World Region" (e.g. NORTH AMERICA, SOUTH AMERICA, EUROPE, ASIA)
    the other SELECT LIST has values of "Subregion" (e.g. NORTHERN EUROPE, SOUTHERN EUROPE, SOUTHEAST ASIA etc...)
    The values in the Subregion list are dependent on the value that is chosen from the "World Region" List. Can someone tell up how to update the values in the Subregion list BEFORE we submit the page? We can get these values to update (via sql query) when the page is submitted but that is only happening after the report gets run- which is not what we want. We want the user to select a Region from one SELECT LIST and then see all the qualifying Subregions for that Region in the Subregion SELECT LIST. Only after both Region and Subregion have been selected do we want to run the report. Thank for any help on this.

    hey john--
    john) things like Scott's reference to "The name of the LOV Item". What does this really mean?
    raj) in htmldb there's a concept of items at the page and at the app level. page level items have ui component associated with them. in scott's explanation above, he's talking about using a page-level item with a "Display as" type of "select list w/submit" for your first select list. in that case, he's suggesting you have one select list item drive the values of another. when the self-submitting select list submits the page, it sets an htmldb built-in variable called :REQUEST to the name of the self-submitting select list item. in your follow-up post's example, that'd be "REGION_LIST". scott was explaining how you could control the functionality on your page by adding conditions to things like...
    :REQUEST = 'REGION_LIST'
    ...or using declarative Condition options like "Request = Expression 1" and then putting the string "REGION_LIST" in that Expression1 field. so in your case, you have a report region that you don't want displayed until the user's done selecting from your Subregion list. an easy way to handle that would be to add a hidden item (where "Display as" is set to "Hidden") to your page, for example :P1_LAST_REQUEST, to store the last value of :REQUEST. put a Computation on your page that populates :P1_LAST_REQUEST with :REQUEST each time the page is submitted. then put a Condition on your report region that makes it only render when :P1_LAST_REQUEST != 'REGION_LIST'. so this way your users can select a Region and have the page submit itself. the page will then redraw with the values of subregion list correctly populated (you'd presumably use :REGION_LIST in your subregion LOV query to achieve the filtered values) w/o your report region displayed. the user would then select a correct subregion and click some sort of "run my report" button. this time when the page redraws, :P1_LAST_REQUEST would be set so something other than "REGION_LIST" (it'd be set to whatever you named your "run my report button") and so your report region would display as desired.
    hope this helps,

  • Report workload by calculating how many versions of SharePoint list items created in a certain time period

    I have a total of 66 SharePoint 2010 lists - yes, 66! - each lists contains between 1500 and 3200 list items.  My employees update these various list items throughout their workday.  Each update to a list item creates a new version of the list
    item.  On average each list item will have anywhere from 5 to 10 versions before it is done.  I need to create a report that tells me how many list items they've updated in a certain time frame.  I have come close but still cannot arrive at
    the data I'm looking for.
    This is what I have so far:
    I've created a report using SQL Report Builder 2008 v3 where I've filtered it to show only items MODIFIED between, for example, Feb1 and Feb28.  Of those records, I want the report to tell me how many versions were created during that time
    frame.  The result is one list item with 5 total versions.  Versions 1.0, 2.0, & 3.0 were created on 12/12/14.  The last two versions, 4.0 and 5.0, were created on 2/24/15.  Therefore, the answer I'm looking for is 2 because they
    created 2 versions between Feb1 and Feb28.
    However I get the following results using these queries:
    If I do a =Sum(Fields!owshiddenversion.Value) in the expression field I get the total versions which is 5
    If I do a =Count(Fields!owshiddenversion.Value) in the expression field I get the instance which is 1
    Is there a way to count ONLY the number of versions created in a time period?  Is there another hidden field in SharePoint that I can use in the expression that will give me results I'm looking for?

    Hi Rafael70,
    Per my understanding that you have already get all the need fields and informaiton of the updated version of list items and now you want to calculate how many versions of SharePoint list items created in a certain time period, you can't get desired result
    using sum and count function, right?
    I have tried to tested on my local environment but because I am not clear what is value in the field "owshiddenversion", I assumed you have two datatype parameters (StartDate and EndDate) to help filter the report in a certain time period.
    Generally, if you have add the filter correctly, it will filter the correct number's updated version in this time period, I would like you to provide details information as below to help better analysis the requirements:
    Could you please provide sample data of the table.
    Please provide snapshot of the report structure you have currently designed.
    Please try to provide all the expression you have used.
    If you still have any problem, please feel free to ask.

    Hi,
    I changed the Computations to "Value of Item in Expression 1 is NULL" and put the item name into Expression 1.
    You had a PL/SQL expression of:
    NVL(:P2_YEAR,'NULL') = 'NULL'
    I think you could have used:
    :P2_YEAR IS NULL
    or
    NVL(:P2_YEAR,'0000') = '0000'
    I'm not 100% sure what effect there would be of using 'NULL' within a statement - it should just be seen as a string, but, as you can see from the results, something wasn't working as we'd expect.
    Apart from changing the way that the default value is computed for the Year, that was the only change that I made.

  • Items is a region displayed after a sql report region!

    Hello everybody!
    I have 3 regions :
    1/ HTML text region with some items : sequence 10, column1
    2/ SQL report region : sequence 20, column1
    3/ HTML text region with some items : sequence 30, column1
    I have many problems and errors when submitting the page and saving data into tables, I think that htmldb is not getting the correct values corresponding to the correct items.
    If I change the column diplay of the sql report region to "2", or if I change the sequence of the SQL report region to 40, all is ok!!!
    (I am using wwv_flow.g_f10(i) to retreive data from the report).
    Any idea ?

    Hello Raju,
    Ok, My example is more complexe, but I have succed to reproduce the error in a sample example in my oracle htmldb workspace,
    My access info have bee sect to : [email protected]
    You will find the example in application 21275_TEST page 2.
    I have 3 regions, the second is a report sql region in witch I have a popkeyfrom query item.
    My submit button, update a table with a text field (item P2_IT, region1) and a date(item P2_MONTH ,region3).
    You will see that when submitting, you will get an error : not a valid month....
    I have not understand what is being done at save, but I am sure that the value of P2_MONTH is not correctly setted when updating the table!
    Just, changing the sequence of the report region from 10 to 30 resolve the problem,
    but I must have this region between the two others!!!
    Thanks for the help!

  • Passing sql report query field value to hidden item in javascript

    I have sql report which has in each row one html button. Let us say that query SHOULD look like (two columns, to be easy to get the point):
    select 1 SECURITY_ID
      , '<input type="BUTTON" value="Top10" onClick="javascript:Top10Click ('||SECURITY_ID||');" >' BTN
    FROM DUAL;
    function Top10Click (vValue) {
      html_GetElement('P31_PROCESS_VALUE').value = vValue;
      doSubmit('GO_BACK');
    } <br><br>
    where P31_PROCESS_VALUE is hidden item where i want to store value of row where click happened.
    <br><br>
    In every button i want to pass row value "SECURITY_ID" to Top10Click function for each row differently.
    <br><br>
    Problem is that when I place double qoute then js is not working, else js is ok but "SECURITY_ID" is passed as constant not as live SQL value.

  • How to update the table when change list item in classic report

    hi ,
    i worked with apex 4.2 and i create normal classic report with one select list(named loved)Column ,now i want to update table when user change the list with new value ,i can't create dynamic action to do this,i create check box with primary key and loop for check item to update the table but i can't get the value of list item. and for more speed the user want to do this when change the list value.
    my question
    1- how to do this by javascript and get the value from list item and update the table with new value
    2- is i must use API to create list item so i can get the value of item in report or what.
    Thanks
    Ahmed

    I coded the following to give you direction:
    1. In the "Element Attributes" section of the DEPTNO column, I call a javascript function as:
    onchange = "javascript:updateTable(this);"2. I wrote a simple javascript function that shows an alert when the user changes the select list as:
    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
    function updateTable(pThis)
        var vRow = pThis.id.substr(pThis.id.indexOf('_')+1);
        alert('Row# - '+ vRow + ' has the value - ' + pThis.value);
    </script>Now, you can call a AJAX on-demand process inside the javascript function to update the database value.

  • Change value of a control in a list item new or edit form depending on the page level view Add New Item being clicked.

    I have a list which has a underlying infopath form for insert and edit a record.
    The list has various views spread across different pages .
    Now depending on different pages "New Item", a value for the form will have a corresponding value.
    If there is a single line of text control in the list, and depending ona page name, the value for the single line text should be autofilled when Add new item is clicked.
    How do i achieve that?
    Thanks...

    Hi,
    According to your description, there are several list views in your list, there is a textbox control which holds the “Single Line of Text” type of data in your custom
    form. When users click the “Add new item” button in one of the existing list views, you want the textbox control in the custom form to be populated automatically.
    By default, when user clicks the “Add new item” button in a list view, the URL of the custom form page will contain the name of that list view page, thus, a workaround
    which requires custom code can be like this:
    After the form page loaded, we can extract the name of the list view page from the URL, then populate it into the textbox control immediately. This can be achieved
    using jQuery.

    get URL parameters of current page using jQuery:

  • Refresh SQL Report (Submit Page Item)

    I want to add a search field in a SQL Report. I have something like this
    SELECT * FROM emp
    WHERE  emp_no  LIKE  :P1_SEARCH || '%'I want to do the search asynchronous, on keypress. The problem is that a SQL Report doesn't have a "Submit Items:" atribute like a interactive report.
    So after i refresh the report:
    $a_report($x('P1_REPORT_ID').value,'1','10','100');The report is refreshing (the circle icon on top of the screen) but nothing changes cause the :P1_SEARCH doesn't submits.
    How could i submit a page item from JS ?
    King Regards,
    Cearnau Dan
    PS: I'm using APEX 4 and using dynamic actions it's the same like the Javascript call.(still doesn't submits the :P1_SEARCH item)

    Hi Dan,
    I would suggest not to use the undocumented
    $a_report($x('P1_REPORT_ID').value,'1','10','100');It's very likely that it will be changed in APEX 4.1

  • How To Use a Hidden Page Item within an SQL Report Query without Submitting

    Hi,
    Using: Oracle ApEx 3.0.1
    I have an sql report region that contains a hidden page item as part of the "where clause". My problem is, based on a value entered by the user, I need to assign this value enetered to my hidden item, so that it can be used within the where condition of my sql but this would need to be done without actually submitting the form.
    At the moment, I can set the value via an on-demand process but my SQL is still not returing any values as the hidden page item within the query is not set (as page has not been submitted).
    Can anybody please assist as I am not sure how to do this and whether in actual fact, this is possible to do, without having submitted the page.
    Thanks.
    Tony.

    You can set a session value using a dummy ajax call e.g:
    Add the following to the 'Function and Global Variable Declaration' region
    function f_set_item(pThis){
      var get = new htmldb_Get(null,&APP_ID.,'APPLICATION_PROCESS=dummy',1);
      get.add('P1_ID',pThis.value)
      gReturn = get.get();
      get = null;
    }Where P1_ID is the session value to be set. Then call the function in the usual way e.g.
    javascript:f_set_item(this);
    I hope that helps

  • Getting list item ID in PL/SQL

    Hi Guys,
    Does anybody know how to get #LIST_ITEM_ID# value in PL/SQL expression for a condition? I have a function that returns boolean value to check user has right to see menu item or not. But I need to send Item_ID value to that function...
    I found in JavaScript I can get this value by #LIST_ITEM_ID#. But how can I get this in PL/SQL Block...
    Here is the example;
    http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=4550:1:1495753844366150
    workspace: OSMANEXAMPLES
    username: [email protected]
    pass: wulebu
    Application: ListExample
    Thanks,
    Osman...

    Hello,
    To my knowledge you can't reference #LIST_ITEM_ID# in a condition on a list item.
    So you have to recode it to SF_CheckMenuVisibility( #LIST_ITEM_ID# , :APP_USER ) = 'TRUE';
    or SF_CheckMenuVisibility( 10 , :APP_USER ) = 'TRUE'; and add an ID to the Attributes field.
    Or, the other way round, build your menu on the SecurityMenu tables you're using for the condition. If you try it the way you're working now, you have to keep both (APEX Repository and SecurityMenu) in sync - probably manually.
