SQL REPORTING USERNAME AND PASSWORD

I use SQL Server Reporting Services for reporting purpose and create reporting using and attach database then when I deploy any report it shows me username and password in SQL Server Reporting Service.
So what does it mean by password and username and where do I get this username and password for SQL Server Reporting Service?
i have not any password in windows and in SQL Server Database
HERE IS PICTURE
So what can I do?

Going to that link will not run/execute the report.  It should either prompt you to login or login you automatically and bring you to the landing page.  If you are not being prompted to login, you should consider looking at making sure all the
appropriate services are running by looking at SQL Server Configuration Manager (i.e., the database engine and reporting services).  It's also possible that your browser is configured to login you automatically if you are not being prompted to login,
which could be issue if the account you are logged into your computer as is not an administrator.
The next thing to consider is disabling any antivirus or security software that may interfere with the connection.  Lastly try different browsers (e.g., firefox, Chrome, and IE) and see if you are getting any different error messages.  Also consider
substituting "lenovo-pc" with "localhost".  I have also seen the issue described in this article where you may need to disable the loopback check.
http://www.sqlservercentral.com/blogs/sqldownsouth/2009/09/28/reporting-services-disable-loop-back-check/
You aren't going to be able to deploy anything unless you can connect to SSRS via a web browser.

  • SQL Plus username and password

    I have downloaded Oracle 10g from a CD I received in my Oracle Developer Book and I can't do any of the chapter assignments, because it is asking me for username and password. I have registered at the oracle website and received a keycode, but it never asked me to enter the keycode when downloading the software and I was NEVER asked to set up a username and password. I need help!!! I need to use this in class. What can I do????

    Ask your teacher? If you're working in a class, hands-on help from an experienced teacher will be much more useful than anything you'll get here.
    I don't know what version of Oracle 10g you are trying to work with. Is it Express Edition (XE)? Is it Enterprise Edition or Standard Edition (EE or SE)?
    I don't use XE, so I can't comment on that in details. But generally, whenever you install Oracle, you'll be asked, as part of the installation, to supply a password for the SYS and SYSTEM user accounts. The relevant page of the installation wizard usually gives you the option of supplying one password for all built-in accounts or supplying a different password for each.
    So: at least half your question can be answered by saying a workable username will be "sys" or "system". But I can't tell what password you supplied during the software installation itself.
    It's got nothing to do with the password you supplied to be able to download the software, though. That's your OTN username and password, giving you access to this site and others. Nothing whatsoever to do with operating an Oracle database.

  • Oracle/ SQL Plus Username and Password troubles

    Hello all
    I have just download Oracle Database 10g Express Edition for Linux.
    I downloaded it through the repositories and it installed it that way.
    When i use the command 'connect' with SQL Plus i am required to enter a user name ans password.
    What is the default user name and password, or where can i find it?
    Many thanks

    If yo uinstalled it, you needed to provide a password. Use that.
    For your amusement, there is an install doc that guides you through the steps properly. Check out http://www.oracle.com/pls/xe102/homepage

  • Reporting Services username and password prompting

    We have several branch office locations and one reporting services server. All of the branch office locations can access the reporting services server, but we have one location for the passed week, each time they make a connection to this server, it prompts
    them for a username and password and will not allow them to connect even if the correct username and password is correct.
    I have tried adding the server to the IE intranet/trusted site list. Set IE security on all zones to automatically logon with current username and password.
    What is strange is that this is the only branch office site that is having this issue. It is almost like kerberos is broken for this site location only.
    DOes anyone has any suggestions what could be causing this problem for all computers in this one location. Nothing has changed on their local servers nor have we pushed any updates to the machines.

    Hi bubba1984,
    As per my understanding, I think this issue is caused by Kerberos authentication. Kerberos is an authentication protocol that allows clients that create authentication tokens to associate a specific destination to that token. In the failure case, there is
    a mismatch between the destination specified in the token and the report server process configuration. Due to this mismatch, the underlying Kerberos authentication scheme supported by Windows prevents report server from authenticating the user.
    To fix this issue, please try to remove RSWindowsNegotiate and ensure RSWindowsNTLM is specified in the rsreportserver.config file. For more details, please take the following article as reference:

  • Prompting for UserName and Password when I click Report Server Web Service URLs in ssrs 2008 R2

    Hi All,
                 I am using SQL Server Reporting services 2008 R2 . When I tried to open report server webservice URL in SSRS 2008 R2 It is prompting username and password. I tried to resolve the issue by deleting the <!--
    <RSWindowsNegotiate/> --> line in rsreportserver.config but still I am getting the same prompt
    and i tried by putting the server URL in trusted sites in IE also still no luck. I referred the below link 'http://blogs.msdn.com/b/lukaszp/archive/2008/03/26/solving-the-reporting-services-login-issue-in-the-february-ctp-of-sql-server-2008.aspx'
    I am getting the same error.
    Can anyone help me out to resolve this issue easily.
    Thanks
    Dathy

    Hi Dathy,
    Generally, this is a very common issue in Reporting Services 2008 R2, the blog you post is a good blog that summary the common solutions. If it doesn’t help, could you please try the following:
    Open Internet Explorer, go to Tools and click on Internet Options.
    Under the Security tab, click on Trusted sites and click the Sites button and Add Report Manager/Report Server URL to the trusted sites.
    Then click Custom Level, and check the option Automatic logon with current user name and password.
    Repeat step 3 and step 4 for Local Intranet.
    Hope this helps.

  • Dynamically pass the username and password to report server to invoke reports

    Hi
    The scenario is as follows:-
    9iAS is installed under - Windows 2000 (web server and report Server 6i) and everything works fine.
    We have developed a page using pl/sql cartrige (oracle 8i), from that a report is invoked with some parameters. However, the userid and password is stored under keymap file (cgicmd.dat).
    Is there anyway to pass dynamically the username and password to report server in order to invoke the report.?
    Can any one advise?

  • Hiding Username and Password in Web Report URL

    Hi there,
    I am calling a report from my webforms using the WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT built-in. The problem is that when using this, when the report or the parameter form is being displayed on the browser, the username and password is also displayed on the browser's URL bar with other report parameters.
    Is there any way to surpress or hide the username and password? Please help as this raises some security issues.

    First off make sure your form
    logs on using an ON-LOGON trigger
    using the logon built in. Inside
    a form level ON-LOGON trigger put the
    following code (i.e.)
    logon('username','password@database');
    The password and database are concatenated together.
    Then you can call reports without
    puting the username and password in the
    URL. Here are two examples.
    web.show_document (i.e.)
    web.show_document('URL_HERE','_blank');
    or via a run_product (i.e)
    Run_Product(REPORTS,'admin_req_snapshot',SYNCHRONOUS, RUNTIME, FILESYSTEM,plist,NULL);

  • What are the defaul username and password for SQL Plus ?

    hello, what are the defaul username and password for SQL Plus ? i'm using the client 11.2.0.1

    You'll need to download the full database installation files for the platform you are using. They are two .zip files, about 2.2 gig total.
    I'm not going to give you the link because you should be able to find it easily. You have to read and accept the license agreement anyway.
    When you install it, you'll be given several options about the type of database you want.
    But before you install anything, you should read the installation manual for your platform.

  • Web reports prompts me to input username and password in bw

    Hi all.
      When I access web reports from bw.
      It will open a IE, then go to one url ( which is located in ITS ), and IE prompts me to input a valid username and password.
      Its very strange, because I have already logged on that BW.
      Is it possible to avoid this prompt ?

    Gu,
    Can you give us the URLs that you are using , is it that the URLs are different ?
    The URL is usually
    http://<yourserver>:port/sap......
    assuming that the URLs are
    URL 1 ( which is currently opening in IE )
    http://<yourserver1>:port/sap......
    URL 2 ( for which the login is being asked for)
    http://<yourserver2>:port/sap......
    if yourserver1 and yourserver2 are different , then a logon is required.
    Hope it helps..

  • Run Crystal Report from URL includes username and password

    Hello,
    I've downloaded CR 2008, and CR Server 2008 demo's.
    I'm trying to use a feature I've used with CR10 enterprise, and XI report server, where I can run a report direct from the URL.
    Something like:
    HTTP://scada-ho/crystal/enterprise/admin/en/viewrpt.cwr?id=381&init=actx&apsuser=administrator&apspassword=&apsauthtype=secenterprise
    or
    http://192.168.72.98/businessobjects/enterprise115/infoview/main.aspx?id=1024&init=actx&apssystem=hobprim&apsuser=visy&apspassword=Fillers3&apsauthtype=secenterprise
    I've noticed that there were subtle syntax differences between CR10 Enterprise and XI report server in the past, and expect that similar differences exist with CR server 2008.
    Could someone show me the syntax for CR Server 2008 to run a report from a URL, and pass the required username and password, without having to go through the infoview logon screen

    Tim,
    Thanks for the reply.  I admit I did see that thread when I was looking for a solution.
    My hesitance is that for a non programmer it looks very difficult, and a lot of settings.
    I liked the URL reporting because of its simplicity - one line.
    I know that it advertises the username and password, but for our requirement (intranet reporting, LAN separated from IT), its not a big risk.
    My further investigations indicate that for CRS 2008 something like the following should work:
    http://192.168.207.156/CrystalReports/view.aspx?id=1102&apsuser=administrator&apspassword=admin1&apsauthtype=secEnterprise&init=java
    However I get
    404 - File or Directory not found.
    I'm running on Windows7 with IIS7, so I think it must be an IIS configuration issue
    Any Ideas?

  • SQL Plus / Oracle - Username and Password Troubles

    Hello all
    I have just download Oracle Database 10g Express Edition for Linux.
    When i use the command 'connect' with SQL Plus i am required to enter a username ans password.
    What is the default username and password, or where can i find it?
    Many thanks

    1. If you installed the express edition, there is another step. Go to your GUI menu->Oracle->Documentation. Those names are not exactly right, but you should be able to figure them out from that
    2. You are missing a post install step which the install documentation will tell you from step 1. If it is a regular Linux, you drop to a terminal and type something like "database configure". Look at the install documentation, it will tell you.
    3. Do you have Apache running? You need a web server for the Oracle web interface to work
    4. The error message you got means exactly what it says. That being said, you can also get this error message when the database is running. If you do, it is because you forgot to include a connection on you command:
    connect sys/manager@xe
    OR
    connect sys/manager@localhost:1521Since you don't know the passwords, I assumed you did not run the configure step above since it asks for the password when you run it.

  • SQL getConnection doesn't pass Username and Password

    I am trying to connect to a secure Microsoft Access database.
    I connect to the database but the username stays as Admin with an empty password. And unfortunitly Admin doesn't have the permissions that I need.
    This is part of my code:
              Properties DBCreds = new Properties();
              // Put the Username and Password into the properties
              DBCreds.setProperty("user", STRING_USERNAME);
              DBCreds.setProperty("password", STRING_PASSWORD);
              // Get the database driver
              try
                   Class.forName("sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver");
              catch (ClassNotFoundException e)
                   e.printStackTrace();
                   System.out.println("Class not found for the JDBC to ODBC Driver.");
                   System.exit(1);
              // Connect to the databases
              System.out.println("Starting Connections to the Databases");

              try
                   conn_gt = db.getConnection(STRING_DBCONNECT + DATABASE_GT,DBCreds);
                   sql_gt = conn_gt.createStatement(ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_SENSITIVE,ResultSet.CONCUR_UPDATABLE);
              catch (SQLException e)
                   e.printStackTrace();
                   System.out.println("\nERROR: Failed Connection to General Tables");
              }Yes I am using a Properties varible to pass the username and password but I have also tried using the getConnection(URL,USERNAME,PASSWORD) and it didn't work.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hard code the connection string and the user,
    password using getConnection(String url, String user,
    String password). Still is admin
    Make sure that the meta data call is right after the
    connection call.It is.
    Once you have done that then run again and see what
    the meta data returns.Still Admin
    If it still returns admin then I would suppose that
    the meta data is going to return that regardless of
    what you do. (I would suspect that this might be the
    case.)Maybe but the thing is it is only using the Admin security settings while I need to use the USERNAME security settings
    If it returns the correct name then I would suppose
    that either you are setting up the properties wrong
    or the getConnection(String url, Properties info)
    doesn't work.Ok here is my problem revised... Admin doesnt have read properties on the Zonas table, but the username that I have does. The part of teh code that is failing is:
              System.out.println("Opening Zonas table");
              try
                   missionaries = sql_gt.executeQuery("SELECT * FROM Zonas");
              catch (SQLException e)
                   e.printStackTrace();
                   System.out.println("FAILED!!\n" + STRING_DBCONNECT + DATABASE_GT);
              }The output is:

    Hi ,
    Our application needs to have a link to Report Builder which will open a report builder for that current report and user can modify it accordingly.

    But we do not want to show username and password in clear text , SO we have tried to pass it through ajax call and call the url from server or pass username and password in Authorization headers . Unfortunately , this does not serve our purpose and we are
