i checked in
OBYD,ANL accounting determination is graded out.
OBYC, theres no ANL key.
Urgent pls, points will be awarded.

I want to delete this stupid "ALot " screen that I got when I tried to install a You Tube downloader.

I originally had a screen of a newspaper fronnt page whne Im opened Mozilla. Then I wanted to install an aprogram to download You Tube
videos. I wound up with this dumb "Alot" screen . It lets me get to the Menu Bar and other navigation Tools. . But I just want to delete this dumb screen. I do not want it to be the screen I open up to.

I use to be able to see zooming scale before in this part of screen but now when I am zooming it doesnt show it any more...

I just had random letters flash like i was typing them but they didnt show up in the typed section. So weird, bad thing is that I didnt have the original keyboard flickering problem but updated anyway cause Im a fool i guess. It only happened while writing an email n was only the letters U n G.

Ok, so I got a new-to-me MB Pro4,1 (A1260) off eBay about two months ago. Love it!!! I've been a Mac user since they were just called Apples, but this is my first laptop. It has Mountain Lion on it, but came with the original install CD, which I think was 10.6. (I'd have to track down my super-safe place I stored it to be sure.)
Unfortunately I didn't know about the faulty graphics card issue until I started having problems with my screen not coming on when I'd wake it after a sleep. And, it would get REALLY hot, directly behind the battery, particularly when running things like SketchUp. It would also, occasionally, throw out Asian-ish characters when dialog boxes would pop up.
A couple of times I had to do the shut-the-lid-reopen-it trick and then it'd hum along with no issues. Monday it wouldn't come on at all. Or rather, the screen wouldn't come on. The computer was obviously running just like always. I even tried plugging it in to a desktop monitor and still just a black screen. Did some research and found out about the graphics card issue.
That evening I opened it up and it came on like nothing had happened. So I set the screen-sharing permissions.
Tuesday, no issues.
Today it's doing the same as Monday. However, because I turned on my screen sharing, I've been able to access it from my desktop. Everything works fine...? (in fact, I DLed iStat onto it, via screen sharing, so I could check temps.) Just no screen. No shadows, no dim lights, nothing.
I just emailed my seller to see if he'd done the logic board replacement offered under Apple's extended warranty (that ran out in December) and am waiting to hear back.
What's the liklihood that this is just the screen, instead of the card/logic board? (The Asian characters make me think it might be logic board anyway... )

It's the bad graphics chip and the system will die soon.

First format the drive to OS X Extended (journaled) with ownership set to be ignored:
Next drag your iPhoto library from your Pictures folder to the EHD. When the copying is complete launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and in the window that comes up select the library on the EHD:
Check the file path under the window to make sure the correct library has been selected.
Once you've confirmed that the EHD library is working properly and has all of your photos you can delete the library in your Pictures folder.

My macbook pro is just over 3 years old now and off and on during this time the screen will just go all black. Lately this blackout is lasting longer and I was wondering what is causing this. I am afraid that this will not come back on in the future.

My MacBook pro is just over 3 years old now and the screen has totally blacked out for a few seconds at a time. It will come back on in a few seconds with the exception this past month it has stayed black for a longer period of time like one minute. It scares me to think that one of these times it won't come back on. I have noticed it happens more often when I am using just the battery power. Does anyone have any idea what causes this? just to mention my battery was not low when this happens.

if your MacBook Pro is a 15-inch Mid 2010 model (“MacBookPro6,2”), then it might be exhibiting the defect that is documented on this Apple Support page. If your black screen is due to this defect, then that page states that Apple will service this problem on this specific model of MacBook Pro gratis, for three years from the date of purchase. However, some commenters here have noted that sometimes the servicing is done gratis without having proof of the date of purchase. If you have an Apple Store near you, you might consider bringing your MacBook Pro there to have them check for the presence of this defect.
It is only the 15-inch Mid 2010 model that has this problem; no other model suffers from it.

How do I clear the "Well this is embarising" screen? It will not let me run the program and I have deleated the program just to reload it and get same screen!

The screen that says, "Well this is embarrassing" and asks to either remove a tab or start a new session, which I cannot do neither. I have deleted the program several times and when I reload it the same screen comes up and the program freezes. Task manager is the only way to remove it from my screen. I need to find the location of that screen and delete it.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

What is it with this TPM BIOS screen?

Ive been given the task of creating SCCM MDT Windows 8.1 deployments to Surface 2 Pro machines.
On the first machine I updated the firmware to March 2014. From that point on it booted into the TPM screen and refused to budge. Doesnt matter what option I selected or changed on the TPM screen, it refused to continue - just kept on rebooting to
the TPM screen. Went on to the MS Surface support chat line and they got me to try a few things and eventually said "its a hardware problem". I suspect that it may have something to do with the firmware upgrade.
So I took out the second Surface Pro 2 machine and this time left the current firmware intact. I did a PXE boot to load our Windows 8.1 task sequence and during the first restart, up pops the TPM screen again!!! This time I selected exit and it continued
with the task sequence - phew!.
So what is it with this TPM screen? Is there any bios pre-configuration I can do to make sure it never pops up again?
Doing a bit of a Google search seems to suggest that there are some people having TPM screen problems.

Do a search through the forum and you will find that something similar to this has been a common affliction. The relaunching of Aperture usually resolves the issue, however if it does not as you have experienced...
Potentially an error within the Aperture database.
Ensure you have backed up the library.
no guarantees but the basic maintenance steps may help.
Run your system maintenance using Disk utility on your system and data HDD's
Launch Aperture holding down the command option key, you are presented with two options, run one then the other. This will correct any permissions errors or database glitches.
