SQLPLUS: How to verify that java class file have been loaded

Hi All,
I just loaded my Java class file using CREATE OR REPLACE JAVA.
Java was created sucessfuly, but how can I check or find out if my file have been loaded correctly.
I also found a command :
SQL>exec myjava.showobjects
but i don't have the loadjava utility install....is there any command from SQL PLUS?
thanks

Thanks for the sql command....after that query what do I do next to see if for example tree.class is in the dba_object.
Sorry, I am a newbie and the question may be a bit generic .....

    I am using a macbook pro with system 10.6.8. I just discovered that no recent files have been backed up to the external disk using Time Capsule.  There is a long list of backups including most recent but no recent files, for some weeks, have been backed up.  I did a full reset of Time Machine.  I disconnected the external drive and reconnected it. It is not a matter of file types, no files and no folders have gotten backed up.  Everything looks normal though unless one goes hunting for recent files on the back up.

    Many thanks.
    With those symptoms, I'd try the following document:
    Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store
    (If there's a SpeedBit LSP showing up in Autoruns, it's usually best to just uninstall your SpeedBit Video Accelerator.)

  • Does WLS check if the JSP .class files have been modified?

              When I precompile the JSPs from the command line with weblogic.jspc while WLS is running,
              does WLS check to see if the .class files have been updated and reload them?
              BEA Support says 5.1 SP8 does (case 198104).
              I thought I read an 'Issue' saying it did (9841?) - I can't find it now.
              It does not appear to.

              It was this issue - 9341 - the description is kinda vague

    do you mean decompiling? there are tons of java decompilers available out there, what exactly are you trying to do here?

  • How to decomplie a java class file when java application is running/launch?

    I have a simple java application with some components being displayed, now i need to get the components instance names that are been created in that java application. How do i do that?
    Eg: Button b1 = new button();
    now how to write a java application to decompile this class file & return me the button instance ie "b1".

    I think you wanna do two different things:
    1. find out which objects were created at runtime.
    2. decompile class file.
    I'm no so sure why.
    have you tried insrospecting the class using reflection ?
    Here is a code snippet that prints class field names.
    try{
      Class c = Class.forName("MyClass");
      java.lang.reflect.Field[]  f=    c.getFields();
      for (int i = 0;i<f.length; i++)
           System.out.println(f.getName());
    catch(Exception e){ }

  • How can i call java class file in jsp page

    Hai,
    i wants to call .class file in jsp page.
    my class file is in C:\jsdk\bin.
    Thanks

    I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "calling a class file", but I'm going to assume that you want to do something like the following in your page:
    <%
    MyClass myClass = new MyClass();
    myClass.someMethod();
    %>etc
    If that's the case, then all you have to do is make sure that the class is in the servlet engine's classpath. You'll probably also need to include an appropriate import statement at the top of the page.
    Hope that helps.

  • How do I check my files have been backed up on disk utilities

    My mac book pro model : a1278 from 2010 won't log in it just loads with a grey screen with the apple logo and the buffering symbol, I have tried the safe boot mode and that doesn't work. I have also repaired the hard drive on disk utility and that hasn't solved the problem either. I have backed up my files onto a USB using disk utilities. I am wondering how to check that all the files have been backed up before I do a clean installation of Mac OS X Lion as I don't want to lose my files. Any suggestions ?

    you can sync your contacts and things under your own itunes and your wife can have her own... or both in one as long as you have it synced in the same computer they will be there
    if you name ur phones its easier to tell which is which
    my husband kids and i all have our names and then iphone next to it and it creates a different backup for each and then we update and we restore from there it lets you choose which backup you want...
    hope it helps!!

  • How to verify that embedded OC4J is loading Custom LoginModule?

    I've written a custom login module to authenticate against a custom datastore. I've added a system property
    java.security.auth.login.config=C:\javadev\...\jaas.configas recommended by Yvonne here: Re: Custom LoginModule used by BC4J
    I still get the following when I load a UIX page out of this module:
    msg=JBO-33021: Failed authenticate user nullThere are many debug System.out(...) statements in the code (including in the initialize() function) but none are showing up in the OC4J console. Does anyone know how to verify that the LoginModule is indeed getting loaded? Is it normal for these System.out() statements not to show in the OC4J console?
    I get the impression that the LoginModule is not being loaded but I'm not sure if those traces are enough...
    Thanks,
    /sfl

    Thanks much for the prompt reply and debugging tips Steve and Avi!
    I used both switches (-DApplicationServerDebug and -verbose:class) and still no sign of the class being loaded; none of the traces (I did trace in the construct, though I failed to mention in my original post) nor do any of the app server or jvm debug messages show any sign of the LoginModule being loaded. So now I'm fairly certain I'm going about the wrong way to get this module loaded. Should I also be posting this to the JDeveloper forum?
    My application module configuration is as follows:
    jbo.security.config=<blank> (is this right?)
    jbo.security.context=oracle.security.jazn
    jbo.security.enforce=Must
    jbo.security.loginmodule=customModuleThe command line to the JVM contains:
    -Djava.security.auth.login.config=C:\javadev\jdev9052\j2ee\home\config\jaas.config[yes Avi, I was unfortunately imposed an M$ env. by the powers that be : ( ]
    And, well I've been trying a lot of different things w/ the jaas.config file:
    customModule{
    myPack.controller.MyLoginModule required;
    myApp{
    myPack.controller.MyLoginModule required;
    myPack.LookupModuleLocal{
    myPack.controller.MyLoginModule required;
    myPack.LookupModule{
    myPack.controller.MyLoginModule required;
    Ws-MyProg-webapp{
    myPack.controller.MyLoginModule required;
    default{
    myPack.controller.MyLoginModule required;
    current-workspace-app{
    myPack.controller.MyLoginModule required;
    };Any idea where I'm going wrong? Do I need to do anything else to get this module loaded? At first I thought I needed to modify the jazn-data.xml file but I saw a note in another thread Custom LoginModule used by BC4J which says that it's not necessary to modify it when using a custom LoginModule. Is this right, or should I be modifying that file?
    Thanks,
    java.lang.Object - jobject ;- )

  • How to convert a .jsp to a .java/.class file for use in peoplesoft

    Hi java/jsp experts,
    I want to convert a .jsp to a .java/.class file. is there a tool available, please let me know if you have any pointers....
    or can i do it manually:
    these are a few lines that the .jsp contains, and i would like to translate this to be in .java/.class format:
    <%@ page import="sun.misc.BASE64Encoder, javax.crypto., javax.crypto.spec."%>
    <%@ page import="java.util.StringTokenizer" %>
    <%@ page import="java.util.Map" %>
    <%!
    sb.append("<input type=\"hidden\" name=\"orderPage_serialNumber\" value=\"");
    sb.append(serialNumber);
    sb.append("\">\n");
    return sb.toString();
    %>
    how can i translate the above import statements and html elements from jsp to java, please let me know.
    Once i have the .java file created from the .jsp, I will compile .java to create the .class file and invoke the .class in peoplecode by using java apis available in peopletools.
    Thanks in advance.

    Is there a way convert a binary .exe file( compiled by
    another compiler) into Java .class/.jar file ? Anyone
    know of a free program that can do this?It's not possible. There are many decompilers and disassemblers for Java but nothing will take you from ANY binary to Java source. It would be the end of computing as we know it and the beginning of a new era -:)

  • Than how can i get java class by using it's class file?

    Hi
    After compilation of a java program, it creates a class file.
    After getting class file suppose class file has been deleted.
    Than how can i get java class by using it's class file?
    Thanks in advance.

    get a decompiler and run your class file through it--I'll assume you want the source code back and that you are not trying to recover a missing class file by attempting to use the class file that is missing--if it's missing, then I've not a clue on how to get it back by using what is already missing.
    BTW: many of your compilers have source control--if it does, just restore your missing file.

  • Where to place an xml file that is read by  java class file  dir structure

    Hello all,
    I have an xml file that I am using in lieu of a database to track conference rooms . This is a small file. I need to read this file from my java class file which is used by a jsp. Currently I have an absolute path C://logger/conference.xml. All works fine but I need to deploy to a different machine soon and so I need to place this file somewhere in the project directory structure (created by netbeans) so that it will be included in the war file and can be read by the java class file.
    Also what would be the relative path to this suggested directory.
    TIA!!!

    Cam any body help me. If you are having solution for the can you send to my [email protected] account.
    thanks,

    No, it is not possible to do what you are suggesting. Yes, you could produce a DLL that wraps the JVM and loads your java class exposing a C and/or C++ callable interface, but that is a lot to go through unless your class is VERY complex. Otherwise, you might want to just create and maintain two implementations.
