SRM 7.0 PO XML to PI to HTTP

Dear Experts,
My scenario is to get a PO out of SRM (which is coming over via XML) connect to PI and immediately pass that messages (without mapping) to an external HTTP destination.
Can you please help in outlining what is needed?
On our PI system we already have the SRM XI content.  So in the ESR I see that we have the names spaces and the MT and Service Interface for Purchase Order Request.
I have already created a Business System for SRM and also created a Technical and Business system for our external HTTP party in the SLD.
There are 2 major problems:
1 - When sending PO out from SRM to PI - the message does not get transmitted.  In SMQ2 when we look at the XML message - we see that it is reference an RFC destination that does not exist.  Even when we create it in SM59  for connection to PI it still gets the same error.  I assume this is configuraed somewhere in SRM but do you know where?
HTTP destination IntServer missing (system, transcation SM59)
2 - What steps are required to be configured in the Integration Builder and ESR in PI to send the XML messages as is (without transformation) from PI to the HTTP source (i.e. do I need to setup recevier agreement, sender agreements, Party, etc)
As you can see I am new and trying to work this out.  This would be much appreciated!

Hi,
   We had a similar interface scenario...
in this case we used proxy to populate the PO data which needs to be sent to the external vendor...
For proxy things you need some configuration settings in SRM...(even if you use the same approach...)
1. Need to configure the PI url in the tcode SLDAPICUST..
2. Need to create the http destination point out to the PI url (host/xi/engine?type=entry)
3. set the integration engine as the loc in tcode (SXMD_ADM->integration engine configuration) and provide the http entry over there..
4. Need to have two rfc destinations of type T (LCRSAPRFC..SAPSLDAPI..having the same progid as specified in PI..)
Once the configuration is done can check the same using SLDCHECK...
For more details on the above search SDN..
For passing the data as it is dont provide the mapping name in Interface determination provide the source and target message interface name as same..
need to create the receiver determination and recever agreement for the HTTP...

    I am trying to create a report using the standard report creation wizard:
    1) new, standard report
    2) create new connection
    3) xml and web services
    4) xml data source
    When using the sample from the SAP site, it works fine:
    http://resources.businessobjects.com/support/downloads/samples/cr/customer_db/customer.xml
    I have an HTTP source that generates XML. I have a schema that describes this XML. If I save the XML to a local file it works fine as a data source with the schema. However, when I try to access the same data via HTTP, I get the following error:
    Logon failed.
    Details: Cannot open file
    Server returned HTTP response code: 401 for URL: http://localhost:8004/report.xqy?Validate%20XML=0&Use%20WS-Security%20Config%20File=&WS-Security%20File%20Location
    However, if I enter that URL in a browser it works fine. And even if I disable security on the HTTP source, it produces the same error.
    Does the URL for the HTTP data source have to conform to some specific pattern? For example, must the URL end in .xml?

  • Receiving Custom XML Document over AS2 (HTTPS) - Inbound Processing

    Hi All,
    Need help in Receiving Custom XML Document over AS2 (HTTPS) - Inbound Processing
    External Trading Partner will be able to post the XML Documents to https://<b2bconsolehost>:<b2bconsoleport>/b2b/httpReceiver.
    Here is the process flow:
    1. External Trading Partner will be posting the XML Documents to https://<b2bconsolehost>:<b2bconsoleport>/b2b/httpReceiver
    2. B2B, consumes the Custom XML validates as per the XSD and process it.
    3. How to send the ACK back to External Trading Partner if it validates successfully and sent it to 'IP_IN_QUEUE'
    4. How to send the ACK back to External Trading Partner if the validation fails after receiving the XML document.
    5. Does the External Trading Partner require any certificates to post the XML Documents to https://<b2bconsolehost>:<b2bconsoleport>/b2b/httpReceiver (no need of encryption/decryption)?
    6. How to enable the B2B server to accept the HTTPS messages from the Trading Partner (no need of encryption/decryption).
    Please let me know. Thanks In Advance.

    Hi Nandu, Ramesh,
    We have done the set-ups for transmitting a Custom XML Document over HTTP1.1 in B2B.
    Our Business Case is as follows:
    1. Read the Flat File using BPEL File Adapter
    2. Transform the Message in BPEL and send it to B2B
    2. Based on the set-ups in B2B, we need to post the XML message to the folliwng URL:-
    http://databridge.buy.datastream.net:5555/invoke/dsImport/receiveXML
    In the B2B Set-Ups, I have done the following:
    Business Protocol name: Custom Document over Internet
    Exchange Protocol: AS
    Document Protocol: Custom
    Transport Protocol: HTTP-1.1
    Host name : http://databridge.buy.datastream.net
    Port: 5555
    I have also deployed the agreement as well as the configuration. The issue that I am currently facing is when I select the configuration in WSIL browser in JDeveloper, I am getting the following error:
    "Unable to get schema information for target".
    Hence I am not able to map the message in BPEL and send it to B2B.
    Could you please let me know the possible causes and if I am missing anything in the set-ups in B2B.
    As always, your help and guidance is highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Dibya

  • PR to SRM--Unable to see XML in ECC system

    Hello,
    We are on ECC 6 EHP4 and SRM 7.0. We are trying to send PR to SRM system. We were able to send requirements initially, but from past 6-7 hours none of the requirements are transferred. I do not see any XML messages generated.
    Please help me in finding the cause of this behavior.
    Note: No configuration changes are done in the system.
    Thanks,
    Arahanth

    i dont think system uses XML messages to send PR from ECC to SRM system.
    PR's are transfered to SRM and shopping carts created using RFC calls , please check the LOGS in the transaction SLG1 in both the SRM system and also in the ECC system.

  • Ticking the 'portal vendor' in SRM not triggering the XML message in SRM?

    Dear experts,
    I have ticked the 'portal vendor' in the supplier master data in SRM.
    I have maintained the output medium as 'XML\XI'.
    The 'permit surrogate bidding' button is unticked.
    Then, I have saved the supplier master data successfully.
    Still no XML message is generated for the supplier transfer to PI  in the transaction SXMB_MONI.
    Could you please comment what things I should look for?
    Thanks and regards,
    Ranjan

    Dear Nikhil/Soumyaprakash,
    The XML message was not generated from the SRM system due to missing config details in the 'define system landscape directory' in the SRM system.
    Now, The SRM system is generating the XML message for supplier transfer. The PI system is successfully processing the messages. On the receiver side, the SUS system is also successfully processing the message.
    However, no supplier is created under the root vendor organization in SUS system. No mail is also triggered. I have also maintained the vendor and porg details in the table 'BBP_MARKETP_INFO'.
    Could you please check if anything is needed to trigger the creation of vendor record in SUS?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ranjan

  • SRM 5.0 Invoice XML format

    we are trying to send Invoice from the suppliers to SRM system using XI. We have found the XI message type and generated XML based on the fields that we are aware of. But when we send it to SRM,it creates a credit note. When we tried to post the credit note, it comes with an error "At least one PO reference is incorrect" and "No tax amount possible for non-taxable invoice". We have populated all the known fields. have any one experienced this issue?. Do anybody have the invoice format with some explainations for the tags or examples?
    Your help will be much appreciated.

    Even if this thread is realy old...
    If you are using the extended Classic scenario you will never be able to create a invoice. There is an error in the source-code. We have modified our system, since then it works like a charm... We have opened an oss-call, so there should be a solution soon...

  • SRM PO not triggering XML Output to SUS

    Hi folks,
    We are using SRM 5.0 in conjunction with SUS.  When we create POs in EBP they are not transferring to SUS.  We had them working about 5 months ago but the project was then put on hold and since then no new POs are transferring to SUS from EBP.
    Old POs can still be transferred to SUS and responses can also be transferred back from SUS to EBP.  Vendor replication from EBP to SUS is also possible.
    The problem is simply with new POs.  No Document Output appears in the PO.
    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks and regards

    We discovered the cause of the issue.  Between when the system was working previously and now, OSS Note 883693 (PO Output activation) was applied.  This note turned off PO Output inSRM

    Hi Rao
    some thing makes default medium as spaces.
    Note 1072367 - No output medium identified error even if medium selected.
    A Purchase Order is created with a vendor containing no default medium specified in the vendor master data. Now, even after selecting a valid output medium, the error message 'No output medium selected'  does not go off
    check with technical resource ? is it really internally makes SPACES (empty)
    check any logic in your smartform.
    if yu have time create one OSS mesaage too.

  • Problems by getting info out of XML file with a HTTP request

    Hi,
    I have a litte question. I'm working on an application that works together with google maps. In my java code, I get general information about address out of one database table, and I want to add some geographic information like coordinates that I want to retrieve from Google Maps through HTTP:
    Right now my code is like:
    while (resultSet.next())
                             title = resultSet.getString("title").replaceAll("'","''").toUpperCase();
                             author = resultSet.getString("author").replaceAll("'","''").toUpperCase();
                             location = resultSet.getString("location").replaceAll("'","''").toUpperCase();
                             straatnaam = resultSet.getString("straatnaam").replaceAll("'","''").toUpperCase();
                             nummer = resultSet.getString("nummer");
                             landcode = resultSet.getString("landcode").replaceAll("'","''").toUpperCase();
                             address = straatnaam + " " + nummer + " , " + location + " " + landcode;
                             url = "http://maps.google.com/maps/geo?q=" + address + "&output=xml&key=+key+";
                             String query = "INSERT INTO data2 VALUES ('" + i + "','" + title + "','" + author + "','" + resultSet.getString("date1") + "','" + resultSet.getString("date2") + "','" + location + "','" + resultSet.getString("postcode") + "','" + straatnaam + "','" + resultSet.getString("nummer") + "','" + landcode + "','+something like url.getCoordX+','something like url.getCoordY')";
                             success = sql2.executeUpdate(query);
                             i++;
    Now I don't know how I can handle that. Is it possible to do an HTTP request in Java without using Java Script of servlets? I just want to get the X and Y coordinates out of the XML file.
    The XML file will be something like:
    <kml xmlns="http://earth.google.com/kml/2.0">

    Hi, sorry for being not so clear. My question was actually if it is possible to do a HTTP request in Java without using servlets or being in Java Script. Actually my question was more specific for Google maps, because it didn't seem to work. It was my mistake, and already solved, to forget to make the webservice-call "URL-encoded". Because of that, I always received a HTTP 400 error, and that's why I thought it wouldn't be possible.
    But now I have another, perhaps for you guys stupid question. The result I get from the webservice URL is of the form:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <kml xmlns="http://earth.google.com/kml/2.0">
    <Response>
         <name>nieuwelaan 38, Hamme</name>
         <Status>
              <code>200</code>
              <request>geocode</request>
         </Status>
         <Placemark id="p1">
              <address>Nieuwelaan 38, 9220 Hamme, Hamme, Belgium</address>

                                       <Thoroughfare>
                                            <ThoroughfareName>Nieuwelaan 38</ThoroughfareName>
                                       </Thoroughfare>
                                       <PostalCode>
                                            <PostalCodeNumber>9220</PostalCodeNumber>
                                      </PostalCode>
                                 </DependentLocality>
                            </Locality>
                        </SubAdministrativeArea>
                   </AdministrativeArea>

             </AddressDetails>
             <Point>
                   <coordinates>4.126295,51.097724,0</coordinates>
             </Point>
         </Placemark>
    </Response>
    </kml> Now I want to get the value of the coordinates field.
    This is my code:
    address = URLEncoder.encode(address, "UTF-8");
    urlString = "http://maps.google.com/maps/geo?q=" + address + "&output=xml&key=ABQIAAAA9fEXNK-q6vKpPU0JCmPPkxQjbVBpjtblJJYkDfbMo0e51afwehRmujfvBtJqx1Qehg6e6QgCRY8poA";
    url = new URL(urlString);
    XPath xPath = XPathFactory.newInstance().newXPath();
    Document domDoc = processData(url);
    path = "/kml/Response/Placemark/Point/coordinates";
    coord = xPath.evaluate(path, domDoc);
    System.out.println("coord : " + coord);Now, in the last line, by writing out the value of coord to my screen, I get the value "1", instead of "4.126295,51.097724,0" I would expect, anyone knows what I'm doing wrong?

  • How can i send xml file with a http servlet request

    Hi
    Please tell me how can I send a xml file into http servlet request.
    I have a servlet(action) java file.From this servlet I have generate a xml file. Now I need to send that xml file to another servlet with http servlet request object.
    Dave.

    When you say you have generated an XML file what do you mean?
    Is it a file stored on disk? Then pass the file path as a string to the servlet.
    Is it stored in memory as an object? The pass a reference to the object to the servlet.
    Or are you asking how to communicate between servlets?
    Look in the JavaDocs for the RequestDispatcher class. You can use this class to forward the request to another servlet. Data can be passes using the RequestDispatcher by storing it as attributes using the request getAttribute and setAttribute methods. Also described in the JavaDOcs.

    Hello Kirk  ,
    The answers for your question are:
    Option 1A: Yes you can .you can use TCP/IP but you must have a middleware component for that such as BC/JCO .

    This error doesn't always appear, there are times that the portal works correct and when I can add items, edit them and save my changes
    Does anyone have an idea where the error comes from? In what direction I have to search? How I can solve this problem?
    Thanks in advance, points will be distributed for helpfull answers

    Hi,
    I didn't place a save button on the RenderListItem but on the Edit form so this couldn't be the issue...
    I solved the error I got when I wanted to save my form
    The edit and delete buttons also work correct...
    I only get the error mentioned above when I press the "new form" button, I created that button with the CreateXMLForms action group that I added in my Collection Grid renderer settings (option collection command group)
    Then I changed my form availibility (System administration ->system configuration ->KM->CM->form based publishing->form availibility->folder settings)
    I created the following folder settings:
    foldername//priority//path//forms to exclude//forms to include
    library//10 //documents/testlibrary//Smarties, QnA,SAP_APP_News//library
    News //10 //documents/News//smarties, library, QnA// SAP_APP_News
    QnA //10 //documents/testQuestionAnswer// SAP_APP_News, smarties, library //QnA
    Smarties //10 /documents/testSmarties
    Did I do something wrong here? What can cause this error? In what direction should I search?

  • Help........ How to download an XML file (URL) over HTTP within ESB?

    Hi,
    There is a requirement to download an XML file from the Web using Fusion middleware. The XML file is available as a URL, and is updated daily.
    http://www.ecb.europa.eu/stats/eurofxref/eurofxref-daily.xml
    We need to check if this is download is possible from within ESB.
    One Oracle consultant reported this to be slightly tricky, but possible through HTTP Binding. We never could get in touch with him again.
    So open to the forum.
    So please suggest your opinions, and icing on the cake if you can also point to some tutorial or sample code.
    Thanks,
    Amit

    just run a wget on the file and then you can pick it up with a file adapter, I note there is no XSD association with it.

  • [Exchange-Online][EWS-XML][JAVA][OAUTH2] Getting HTTP status code 500 when using OAUTH2 client credential grant flow as authorization method

    Hi,
    i'm working on enhancing a service to be able to use OAUTH2 as authentication protocol with client credential grant flow when talking to exchange online ( like described here:

    Office 365 Exchange Online : Application Permissions: "Have full access via EWS to all mailboxes ....."
    Windows Azure Active AD: Application Permissions: "Read Directory data", Delegate Permissions: "Enable sign-on and read users_ profiles"
    I receive a access token from log.windows.net:

    If i use BASIC authentication and impersonation the request is successfully.
    Has anyone an idea why i might get the error 500 in that scenario?

    For EWS to work with App Token, you need to do two more things. One you already did: Set the impersonation header. Two is to set the X-AnchorMailbox http request header to the smtp address of the mailbox you want to access. This routes the request instantly
    to the right backend.
    Hope this helps.
    Thank you! Matthias

  • Problem with parsing large XML files chunked over HTTP

    I'm trying to isolate a bug that was introduced when upgrading the JRE in use from Java 7u51 to 7u71 without changing any code. The problem appears to be very similar to: Bug ID: JDK-8027359 XML parser returns incorrect parsing results.
    Further investigation showed that it was also introduced in the same versions (7u71) where that fix was applied. Unlike that bug though, my XML is marked as version 1.0. It also appears to be with only large XML files, on the order of 10MB or so.
    The closest I've been able to narrow it down to is the code is using JAXB to unmarshall a stream that the debugger tells me is a org.apache.http.com.EofSensorInputStream / org.apache.http.impl.io.ChunkedInputStream. The exception I get is not consistent, but typically appears to be from chunks being overwritten or shuffled, resulting in letters appearing in attributes that are actually numbers, or like the following where an attribute "testAttribute" gets partially overwritten by the end of a timestamp that was in a different section of the XML.
    javax.xml.bind.UnmarshalException
    - with linked exception:
    [javax.xml.stream.XMLStreamException: ParseError at [row,col]:[1,98748]

      at com.sun.xml.internal.bind.v2.runtime.unmarshaller.UnmarshallerImpl.unmarshal(UnmarshallerImpl.java:334)
    Caused by: javax.xml.stream.XMLStreamException: ParseError at [row,col]:[1,98748]

      at com.sun.xml.internal.bind.v2.runtime.unmarshaller.UnmarshallerImpl.unmarshal0(UnmarshallerImpl.java:355)
      ... 6 more
    Here's some code that seems to reproduce it if you can connect to an XML server that returns a large chunked XML file:
      SchemeRegistry registry = new SchemeRegistry();
      registry.register(
                    new Scheme("http", 80, PlainSocketFactory.getSocketFactory()));
      HttpClient client = new DefaultHttpClient(new BasicClientConnectionManager(registry));
      String url = "http://someUrlReturningAlargeChunkedXML";
      HttpGet method = new HttpGet(url);
      HttpResponse response = client.execute(method);
      InputStream inputStream = response.getEntity().getContent();
      XMLStreamReader responseReader = factory.createXMLStreamReader(inputStream);
      JAXBElement<JaxBObjectOfResponse> wot = unmarshaller.unmarshal(responseReader, JaxBObjectOfResponse.class);
    If you connect using URL.openStream() to the same service there is no error. If I read bytes directly and write to a file, there is no error. The error only happens when I try to unmarshal it, and it's large, and I'm using Java 7u71 (or later). It can be consistently repeated with the jsp webapp that I'm using, but didn't show the error when I used the same code with a Wikipedia dump XML file.
    How can I unmarshal in a different way to avoid this problem? Or, how can I better isolate the bug so it can be posted to the appropriate bug system?

    Apparently, adding the Woodstox XML libraries avoids the bug. Is there anyone who can reproduce this on another system? Was there any changes to the Stax implementation between u67 and u71 that may have introduced a bug like this?
    Edit: When setting the logging level to DEBUG, I once saw the overwritten buffer being logged as if that was what was received (as in the testAttribu00Z example above). I can't repeat that anymore though, and very rarely it does parses with no exception (though it may have still been corrupted). Now the error seems to be consistently on one of the buffer boundaries, as in:
