    We set up SRM SWCV in Central SLD and using that in Dev system.
    We want to transport this SWCV from Dev to QA using CMS.When we are trying to do this transport we are getting error and the reason is there is no entry of SRM stuff in CMS.
    Our CMS is pointing to Central SLD and when we are trying to Update CMS it is pulling all other SWCV s from Central SLD except SRM stuff..So we couldn't add SRM SWCV in CMS...
    So,please let us know what we are doing wrong...or Should we approach differently to load SRM content in QA systems..

  • Backend is sending CRM stuff to SRM

    Hello,
    we have landscape with backend 4.7, CRM and SRM.
    The problem is that backend system is sending SD information not only to CRM but also to SRM. This is causing short dumps in SRM because functions necessary for that call are inactive. It will not be a problem but this information is comming every minute or so. We have more than 2000 shortdumps in SRM just last day. Also outbound queue of the backend system is full of SYSFAIL
    Is it possible to somehow filter that those queues are going only to CRM?
    I think that this is in connection with table CRMPAROLTP in the backend system, but do not know what to put in Parameter Value field for Parameter Name2 = SALESDOCUMENT. Now in Parameter Value is X in Parameter Value2 is nothing.

      Check the entries in all the CRM tables in the backend related to middleware...specially the CRMCONSUM table..here check the entry for EBP...Also check all the  middleware settings and esp the RFC destination....May be in your case ,for the CRM consumer/entry(in CRMCONSUM  table),the RFC destination is of SRM system....

  • Business Partner from SRM and CRM in BW

    Gurus,
    We are implementing both CRM and SRM this summer. Both make extensive use of Business Partner (0BPARTNER) which is causing headaches. CRM sends "customers" to BW via Business Partner and SRM sends vendors, purchasers and other stuff to BW via Business Partner. Unfortunately, the values of the keys of vendors clash with the value of the keys of customers. For example, Acme Suppliers could be numbered vendor 100 in SRM and Charles Customer could be numbered customer 100 in CRM. Last one loaded to Business Partner in BW wins.
    I have three solutions so far:
    1. Compund 0BPARTNER with source system in BW and lfow downstream to all infoproviders.
    2. Create a separate object such as ZBPARTNER and load all SRM entities to this characteristic.
    3. Force each subsystem to change their number ranges. I suspect that is what SAP's Master Data Maintenance does, but I have no experience with this tool.
    Has anyone faced this dilemma before? Am I missing something?

    Hi,
    Customer and Vendor are two seperate business entities and deliver seperate business function.
    Both of them should be staged seperately. You may have seperate objects for Customer and Vendor. (0CUSTOMER & 0VENDOR).
    I agree that both are business partners but functions are different so should be treated as seperate antity.

  • SRM-- Backend  MM, FI/CO Validations

    Hi all,
    I'm new to the board so please be patient :-). Using mySAP SRM 5.0 I'd like to find out how validations are done during 
    - Shopping Cart creation
    - in Case Purchase Order creation
    - Invoice Posting
    - Tax calculation
    and more validations done related to these processes.
    I'm interested in documentation or any information regarding validations done during the steps stated above. For expample, when I post an invoice in SRM which validations are done how in the backend? (Account Numbers, Cost Centers, via RFC or ALE, BAPI, BADI, which tables/fields, vendor data) and so on.

    thanks a lot for your answers so far. Yes, Classic Sceanrio, sorry for not mentioning it.
    What I`d be furthermore interested in is any overview 1.) Which validations are done? (covered more or less) 2.)Validations are done how and why? (covered less)
    Some validations are done via RFC, some via ALE like some GL or invoice stuff. For some I can use BADIs ... As I`m more or less fresh to those technical aspects I'd very happy if somebody could provide me with some pointers to background information to RFC/ALE and other related stuff in this context.

  • SRM Purchasing Org Structure

    Hi,
    I'm in ECC 6.0 with SRM Server 5.5 as an add-on. I need some help in the area of Organization Structure.
    1. In SRM config (PPOMA_BBP)I defined a Org Node for Company code. Then assigned it to a company. Then I defined a Purch. Org and attached a Purchasing Org (MM) to it. Then I defined a Purchasing Group and attached it to a Purchasing Group (MM). All these 3 entitities are defined as Org Unit (type 'O'). Then I link HR Purchaser to SRM purchasing group by relation 'is purchaser of'.
    Am I correct?
    Business partner is automatically created for Purchasing Org but it did not get created for Company and Purchasing Group. Is it correct?
    I could not see the shopping cart. So I did a debug and findout that SRM is trying to find a Business Partner (BP) for the Purchasing Dept (Org Structure in HR).
    So can anybody throw some light into this Organization Structure stuff?

        Termination occurred in the ABAP program "CL_BBP_ES_EMPLOYEE_MYS========CP" -

    Hi all,
    We are on SRM 5.0,ECS.Is it possible that we can have the PO created,Invoice posted and then GR done in SRM?How is this sequence determined and what are the relevat settings to restrict this...i.e. I would like to have the PO done and then w/o GR,Finanance cannot post the invoice.
    Also in terms of accounting,how much control is in SRM?

    Try this
    1. Do not have the GR based Invoice Indicator ticked on in the SRM Purchase Order
    2. Then create an Invoice with reference to the Purchase Order.
    This path is generally not recocmmended as you dont want your vendors to get payments unless they deliver goods to you. Try to sort out the issues with Goods recipients.
    If its a Non PO stuff, then SAP Provides a non PO Invoice feature in SRM though...

  • SUS-MM integration in Classic Scenario for SRM

    Hello All,
    We are using SAP SRM in classic Scenario.
    We also plan to integrate SUS with MM .
    Looks like in the Classic Scenario with SRM , only the Direct material procurement is possible
    using MM- SUS.
    How would the SUS-MM integration work for Indirect PO's.
    Our Process is as follows:
    1) Shopping cart created in SRM for Indirect material & approved ( with cost assignment)
    2) Classic PO created in backend & sent to SUS
    After this step is it possible that the Vendor create the GR in SUS and it is sent to ECC for Approva through PI l??

    SRM is a kiddo infront of ECC, so workflows definitely are present in ECC(not BRFs but event driven wfs).
    any ways, your solution would be a custom solution, implement MB_DOCUMENT_BADI, to trigger a custom WF from custom event. this can be used for notification and stuff. but it wont stop the execution, so, dig on it how to stop the GR post till the workflow is not over.
    and invoice anyways has workflows which you can use

  • Definition of SRM Backend URL when calling a shop

    Hi,
    we installed the SRM portal and SRM 7.0 Backend on a server with full qualified host name "internal.server.int". The portal and the backend are accessed by the customer (internal network) with URLs "srmportal.company.com" and "srmbackend.company.com". Most stuff works fine, but when calling an external shop, the application /sap/sapsrm/outbound_hdlr is being called with the hostname "internal.server.int" and not with srmbackend.company.com as it should be. Therefore SSO is not working and the user is being asked to logon with password and username. When accessing the portal with the original server ID, everything works fine.
    We changed the parameters
    gw/alternative_hostnames
    icm/host_name_full
    to "srmbackend.company.com" but still the application /sap/sapsrm/outbound_hdlr is being called wit the wrong URL.
    Now my question is where the information of hostname and port is being taken from to call the application /sap/sapsrm/outbound_hdlr. Is it a profile parameter or customizing or...?

    BYPASS_INB_HANDLER       X    (Fixed Value)
    BYPASS_OUTB_HANDLER   X    (Fixed Value)

    We are customizing SRM 3.0 EBP 4.0 with SAPKU40005.
    When we tried to create the first users we started to receive the following error 'http: 404 Page not Found' when starting 'manage user data'. (URL: http://[server]/sap/bc/bsp/bbpusermaint/!?client=400&language=EN&~logingroup=SPACE&addSession=1&parentBbpSession=SRP:[server]:0000.0005.d5ffd7b2.d87e
    I've created the ADMIN user in the SU01 transaction. When logon in mySRM browser with this or any administrator user and try to 'manage user data' i get this error.
    I've looked in the '(...)inetpub\wwwroot\sap' directory and didn't found any 'bc/bsp/...' directory.
    Can someone please give me an hint ....

    Hello Carlos,
    the BSP Framework you are now in has nothing to do with the ITS stuff like inetpub or wwwroot.
    Get the docu for Web AS 6.20 and have a look into transaction SICF. There you can activate your application: follow the path sap/bc/bsp/bbpusermaint, right mouse click on the "node" and say activate.
    This maybe solves your problem. But read a little bit of the doco on Internet Communication Framework (TX SICF) first.

    If you go to the link http://service.sap.com/ibc , under <i>.... for mySAP SRM</i>, there's a link/section on "Catalog Content Management".  You can probably find some of the functional informaton there.
    Also, I'm sure there are others in this forum that actually have this content installed in their landscape.  Perhaps, they can provide some input as well.

  • Problem with subtotals on Smartform. SRM 5.0

    Hello,
    Iam facing one serious problem with one smartform on SRM 5.0.
    Using the automatic "calculation" of one table in main window i have set the subtotal calculation. This calculation is not working because the form is getting always the item from the next page on pagebreack moment...
    How could i control this bug from sap?

    The reason for this is the the systematic of the form interpreter on how to check if a page break has been done.
    Items and other stuff get printed in MAIN window.
    So e.G. you have 4 items while 3 fit on one page. so he prints 3 items, all is fine, no page break detected so he continues with MAIN window printing.
    Now he prints item 4 and WHILE printing it he detects that there is not enough space on the page to print it. Page break gets triggered, but item 4 has already been in process and so values of item 4 are added.
    I never ran into this problem with the auto subtotal calculation of smartforms and i really wonder that this makes problems in Standard as well.
    I suspect you can find a SAP-note on this subject, since this is the standard having issues, and i guess they are solved by now.

  • Process followon docs in SRM

    Hi friends,
    SRM provides a functionality of allowing bidders to add items in a bid. This can be done by purchaser during RFQ preparation by marking a check box "Allow bidders to add items".
    Now when the bidder adds items in the bid and we want to post the PO in backend (extended classic scenario), how does it work for new items?
    I think we will have to create master records for all these newly added items, if does not exist in R/3 backend.
    If its a free text item, then do we need to create material master in SRM / R/3 backend?

    Free text purchase will be done using some meterial group and you can create follow on document using those free text items.you donot material master as such.
    I donot have any idea about how you have configured your tax and other stuff in backend system.
    But I donot think,you require to have material master if BID is with free text.
