Hi,
For som odd reson we are getting this error in out monitors, but we cant seem to find anything wrong in the system.
"Error reading the export data for transfer of purchase order "
Anybody know what is causing this error in the monitor?

SRM Monitoring

Hello,
I have got the following error message in alert monitoring in RZ 20 tcode:
: Output error in purchase order 2000315948 for output medium FAX which is related with SRM monitoring, I have no idea about SRM monitoring.
Another kind of Output errors are about Print & mail related.
Please give me an idea how I should resolve this kind of error & what is the general procedure about SRM monitoring?

Hi,
In EBP(SRM) system, the output is maintained as default in the following menu path,
SRM server--> Cross application > Set output actions and output format> Define actions for doc.output which has action defintion and processing type for purchase order and other objects.
Based on this and based on the organization structure PRI for print this is determined for a document.

SRM Monitoring Solutions/Strategy? New to SAP monitoring need some ideas..

I started a new rotation in my IT job. I am working with the SAP Basis team and my project involves developing a "monitoring strategy" for all of the current SAP solutions our company has implemented.
I would like to first identify possible areas that may need monitored. Does anyone have ideas or suggestions for me for developing a plan specifically for SRM? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Hello Mike,
you don't have to reinvent the wheel. Do you use SAP Solution Manager? With Solman you've got everything you need to monitor your solutions (CRM, SRM, etc....)....

SRM: SC 1000017291 (PO 9000003133): FI 099 booking date older than due date

In SRM-Monitor as well as in RZ20 i got the message:
>>Shopping cart 1000017291 (PO 9000003133): FI 099 Buchungsdatum älter als Fälligkeitsdatum<<
no further description. Did you have experience with such message? Can any help.

Hi Isam,
if you convert from german to Buchungsdatum älter als Fälligkeitsdatum english the meansing is Posting date earlier than the due date. It means that your posting date is before the due date. I think it's warning only......

SRM PO not posting

Hi All,
We are in SRM 5.0, ECS. We just had year end close and we are in new FY(fiscal year). The PO that were created before new FY were in Awaiting Approval status at the end of FY10, and the approvals were done after new FY was opened. When users attempted to process the workflow item to approve the PO as the system came back up in new FY, could not process them. Is there a way to correct this, or do they need to delete the PO and start over?
The SRM Monitor error message reads u201CCannot post to year 2010 which is before current year 2011 of doc item 100XXXXX.u201D
Please advise.

Hi,
1. If the PO is account assigned, check if the cost object is closed, especially if the PO is for Asset and the Asset fiscal year has been changed...
2. Check and try to change the Delivery Date of the PO and then proceed
3.Check with the FI person on the error, it must be from the FI module
4. Take the message number and try to find out why and when this message is triggerred, may be debug!

FI data validation in shopping cart

Hi,
We are using SRM 4.0 (Server 5.0) and ECC 5.0 in the back end.
We enabled the FI validation in back end system in SRM configurtion. While creating the shopping cart it is validating only the cost elements and G/L account are available in SAP. But it is not validating whether the combination of cost element is allowed in backend.
For example: G/L account x can be used only against cost center. If we are using that G/L account against WBS element it is not giving any error message at the time of creating of shopping cart rather it gives an error while creating PR after approval.
After the shopping cart has been approved it is not creating the PR. Using SRM monitor we need to change the G/L account to the correct one and retransfering it.
Is there a way by which we can validate the above scenario at the time of creation of shopping cart itself.

Please check the setting in cross application basic setting customization
Cross application basic setting----->Account assignment----->Define the G/L account to be used based on prodcut category and account asiignment catgory
There select new entries
Enter = prodcut category ID
Choose= the account assignment category
Enter = GL Account
Execute
The above setting determines which G/L account based on the combination of Product Category ID and Account Assignment Category

List of SHC'c created from external PR's

Hi all,
We are on SRM 5.0 ECS.We have replicated some of the inventory PR's from ECC to SRM.However now when the Purchaser rejects these SC's(item level) ,I need a list of all such SHC's which are rejected .Is there any std report which does this?Also these SC's are not displayed when searched in SRM(Monitor SHC) as the SRM search is based on header level.Is there any way these SHC's can be displayed in the std SRM search?

Dead Line Monitoring for Shopping cart approval(SRM 7.0 Process controlled)

Hi Friends,
I am using SRM 7.0 Process controlled Workflow. I need to do below.
Dead Line Monitoring details are given below.
If the approval workitem is not addressed in 3 business days by Approver, the approver would get reminder email notification. If approval Workitem is not addressed in 5 business days by the approver, then an email notification is sent to requester,approver and the workflow administrator.
How to obtain this. Please help me.

Infact, i have used
SRM Server->Cross-Application Basic Settings=>Event and Event Schema for Alert Management->Define Event Schema
In that i specified
WF_COMPL_LATEST_END->Message(low)->APPROVAL_DEADL_NOTIFIC_NEW : 24 hours.
But it is not triggering for dead line Monitoring(24 hours Later).
If any body faces this same problem, Please let me know.

SRM 7.02 Shopping Cart Monitor

Good afternoon Gurus,
I am having difficulty with commitments posting incorrectly in our backend system. I am currently running ECC 6 and SRM 7.02 Extended Classic.
I use the SRM Application Monitor for error checking etc........... I as the administrator am able to delete line items from Shopping carts when requested.
Unfortunately I have one document that has not updated our GM table correctly and I would like to re-activate the line items on this shopping cart but do not seem to have the ability. Is this a feature of the Application Monitor at all or is there another way to accomplish it?
I have already spoken to the requestor on the shopping cart and she sees the shopping cart with no items as well, she has no way to undelete or reactivate the items either. I use /SAPPSSR/SC_COMMIT_REPOST in TCode SA38 to repost erroneous shopping cart commitments and that seems to clear the GMIA issue, but because this shopping cart is deleted the items are not available.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

My error was related to monitor shopping cart and it is 'sc.detailprof' , but i still have followed the same procedure the way it was maintained for the standard role by SAP.
What OBN should exactly is to be maintained for those errors.
I was also checking the parameters in SWO1 tcode and maintaing the same for the method, but still no use, can you please suggest if there is any other way to do this.

Hello experts,
We have upgraded from SRM 4.0 to SRM 5.0 SRM SRM server 550. In monitor shopping cart using 'created by' to search shopping carts, users could usually enter their username. After the upgrade however users need to enter their empoyee number. So they first use the search functionality (binoculars) to search for their name afterwihich the field will be filled with their employee number. Does anybody know how to change that ? So users will be able to enter their username again to search for their own shopping carts ?

SRM Confirmation IDOC errors - Not appearing in Application Monitor

We receive Shipping confirmations from vendors in XML format to our Business Connector and then the IDOC gets created in SRM. Some of the IDOCs are failing due to validation errors with data in confirmation. (For example the item level shipping count doesn't match whats on PO). When the failures ocur like this, the errors getting written to Administrators Inbox. All IDOCS succesfully processed in SRM in turn will go through normal confirmation scenario (Creating IDOCs in R/3).
Is there a way to get them into EBP Application Monitor? Please let me know.

Hi,
You may not get ORA-4030 in the Alert log as it for system level resource issue, so it should appear at run time for new processes trying to create new processes and are requesting memory. The existing running database processes does not get impacted when they already have memory allocated.

Not all ORA errors reported on alert.log file. Some of the ORA errors are reported only on client side. This error will be reported on alert.log if any of the oracle server processes is not able to allocate memory.

My SAP SRM Application Monitors Purchase order / local errors

I am seeing local errors in the monitor under Purchase order. The message is incorrect status in pricing, but when i click on the message i get no further information. How can I track there errors

Check your outbound queue in SMQ2 if the error is there for more details. pricing error is related with the IPC so check if your IPC destinations are working in SM59.

CCMS monitoring of SRM's own XI integration engine

I have CCMS problems when monitoring XI integration engine of a SRM system. The integration engine will not appear in CCMS. I opened a question on SRM solution forum, could somebody have a look at it there. Here is the link to original question and earn your points there:

background: I have previously managed to successfully set up CCMS monitoring for a plain XI system, but there seem to be some difference while SRM's XI only has integration engine and not J2EE engine running. SRM XI Integration engine is in place due to ABAP Proxies used by SRM.

Of course you have to adjust the GRMG in order to have only the ABAP part under monitor.
