  • Foreign Trade Fields in SRM - Commodity Codes

    Hello All -
Are there any standard foreign trade fields in SRM, like Commodity Code and Country of Origin?  I have not seen these fields and I was wondering how other people have handled this.
    THanks
    JAne

    Jane,
We have  implemented the classic scenario here with SRM 5.0. So, the foreign trade functionality is being handled on the backend.  I looked around and didn't see fields for HTS nor country of origin.
I do not know if that is being handled in the extended classic or if SRM 7.0 has that functionality.
I hope someone who is on SRM 7.0 can answer that question because that functionality would be a something we could use here as well.
    Regards, Dean.

  • SRM-SUS Scenerio Replicating company code and suppliers to SUS via XI

We have configured SRM-SUS scenario.  We have SRM and SUS on the same system but different clients.  We have configured extended classic scenario.  We are on SRM 2007 with SP5
    Issue:
When I execute transaction BBP_SP_COMP_INI I get no errors.  I check SXMB_MONI in my SUS client and it has processed correctly.  However it does not update table BBP_SUS_BPCMPMAP.  I check SLG1 in SRM and SUS and get messages that data replicated.
When I execute transaction BBP_SP_SUPP_INI to move the SRM suppliers to SUS I check SXMB_MONI and everything processed correctly.  However, when I check table VENMAP there are no entries.
I then create a PO and send to SUS.  I get the following error:
Error in an XI interface: No partner found for partner number VNDR_ACCT_ Program: SAPLBBP_BD_VALUE_MAPPING; Include: LBBP_BD_VALUE_MAPPINGF11; Line: 436
When we debug the proxy it is trying to validate our SRM company code (VNDR_ACCT) in table BBP_SUS_BPCMPMAP which is empty.
It appears that SUS is not allowing the creation of external partners.  Does SRM to SUS transfers utilize the BP number range table which distinguishes external and internal BPs which is used when replicating suppliers between ECC and SRM.
Has anyone ever encountered this issue before?
    Please advise.
    Thanks.
    Joe

    Hello Nikhil:
I think my issue is that the XI proxys' are not being updated in SUS.  It appears to me that it is similar to when you are executing BBPGETVD between ECC and SUS (MM-SUS) and the BP number range in SUS is not set to accept external BPs.
So, When I execute BBP_SP_SUPP_INI and send SRM suppliers to SUS how does it know the VG5XXXXXXX.  When I replicate BBPGETVD I tell the VG5XXXXXXXX.  I did configure the "Managing Business Partners" SUS configuration but we are not using supplier registration so I do not have URL for UM or Notification.  I did update the "Central Vendor Group" , "Default Purchase Org", and "Currency".  Does XI use this setting to know where to assign the vendors or is there another piece of configuration I missed?
What I did to create the entry in table BBP_SUS_BPCMPMAP is I executed transaction BBP_SUS_BP_ADM and entered in the "Company Code" field the BP from my SRM system assigned to my ECC backend company code .  In the log sys field I entered the log sys of my SRM cleint.  I then completed the other required fields.  In the end it created the following entry:
    101    4CF3AE33A6036B71E10000000AF8EF08 ERACLNT100 0001       0000000018
Client 100 is SRM and 101 is SUS.
I am able to configure SUS for MM_SUS and replicate suppliers and company code from ECC to SUS.  However, this does not use XI.  For thois reason I think my issue is a missing piece of config to tell XI where to create external business partners?
When I check the payload of my SRM PO it does not show the company code but uses BP 18 which is the SRM BP for my backend company code.  When I check BBP_PD for this PO in SRM it has my company code as "BE CO_ CODE"
Do you have any more suggestions?
    Please advise.
    Thanks.
    Joe

  • Mapping of Intercompany transaction between SRM & SAP R/3

    Hi SRM gurus,
We have a scenario where the client wants intercompany transactions to be mapped between SRM & R/3.
    i) they say according  to interco transactions, using SRM PO, the following journal entry will be posted upon GRN:
                        Dr           Expense
Cr          A/P to Co Code 1 for SRM Vendor code
Question : if co code 1 recognizes A/R in Intercompany code, can we match the balance i.e : is it possible to recognize "A/P to Co Code 1 for SRM Vendor code" as Intercompany balance
ii) When Co. 1 pays for pdts / services on behalf of Co. 2, an intercompany, the journal entry will be as follows :
    Co. 1 : Payment voucher (FB60)
    a) on GRN :
                        Dr   Prepaid promotion
                              Cr    GR/IR Clearing
    b) on IR :
                        Dr    GR/IR Clearing
                              Cr    A/P to Vendor
    Co. 1 : Journal Entry (FB70)
    Charge to Co. 2
                        Dr. A/R from Co. 2
                              Cr.  Prepaid Promotion
Co. 2 : Journal Entry (MIRO)
On Invoice Recipt to Co. 1
                        Dr. Expense
                              Cr. A/P to Co. 1
Is it possible to make a set of journal entries as below by make config changes in SAP R/3 :
    Co.2 :
    Upon GRN : Dr Expense
                           Cr GR/IR Clearing
Upon IR :   Dr GR/IR Clearing
                           Cr A/P to Co.1
    Co.1:
Upon IR :   Dr. from Co. 2
                           Cr. A/P to Vendor
The client wants to track the above postings scenario through old vendor code which is used as SRM vendor code and which is same as maintained in R/3 vendor master "Previous acct. no." field in Accounting view. To me the above entry on IR in R/3 is not at all feasible.
Like to have your expert suggestions on the above scenario how to map b/w SRM & SAP R/3.
    Rgds,
    Samik

Hi. What exactly are you looking for with the vendor material number? Note 444976 and 412817 are about it not transferring, butthey are very old, you have not said what version of SRM you are using.
For the goods receipt, I doubt there will be a note to let you set the posting date or document date in the backend based on approval date, but you can easily use BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI method BBP_CONF_CHANGE to set this date to whetever you want.
    Regards,
    Dave.

  • UOM in R/3 and SRM

    Hi Experts,
We are using SRM 5.5 and R/3 4.7.
Sceanrios -  Plan Driven and GOA.
In our system UOM configurations were not in Sink.
Say for example UOM H in backend for which Primary code is chekced and in SRM Primary code is unchecked.
Does such type of cinfigurations need to be in sink. Please advise.
    Regards
    Ratha

    Hi,
You need to configure/copy the settings you made in the UOM of R3 to your SRM. In this way, all UOM related transactions will run properly. Thus, UOM config in both systems should be in sync.

  • The quick way to tell it is a SRM system or not

    Experts:
I want to know if there is any quick way to determine a SRM system,  such as some SRM unique txn?
On txn saint, Business Planning and Consolidate is a SRM only package?
If you could provide the SRM t-codes that can launch web-browser, you might help me to identify it is a SRM7.0 or not.
    Thanks!

    Hi Kelly
bbp_pd transaction helps to determine whether this system is SRM transaction or not
    go to bbp_pd
select SRM Business Object like bus2121 etc...then you can make ensure that SRM business objects are created so it is srm system
some customers uses for Only GOA , some use only for creating BID Invitation and BID only.
PPOMV_BBP - makes ensure that it is SRM system all vendors are stored int his transaction
BUT000 - table - entries present means all business partners are stored in this table.
please clarify what exactly you are looking for..

  • How to transfer PO in MM to SRM vendor?

    Hello. SRM friends
I use the SRM Server5.5 with classic scenario.
Could you explain the logic to transfer PO to SRM vendor for GR process?
In our case, PR for raw material will be created in MM and convert PR to PO.
The result of the test, If vendor has SRM ID with standard vendor role, vendor can see the PO document from “Enter delivery / service” menu in SRM.
I’m not sure the standard logic how to transfer PO to vendor web screen.
In our case, MM consultant developed the approval and issue process for PO in MM.
So we should add the following logic.
    - If the issue status of the PO is the “P”, PO will be transferred to vendor.
So I should analysis the logic “Transfer PO to SRM vendor” to add other logic.
Could you give me an idea or tip? which badi can i use to add specific logic?
    Thank you
    Best regards,
    Lee so hee

    Hello Masa
In case of raw material, PR  will be created in MM.
And buyer convert PR to PO in MM.
But some of vendor should log on to SRM to create GR(confirmation).
So i tested the standard function based on our busienss scenario.
    1. Create contact person in SRM. vendor code: K100002  / contact person ID: vendor2
    2. Create PR in MM
    3. Create PO in MM with K100002
    4. Log on to SRM with vendor2 id
    5. Create GR in SRM.
Standard function support the basic process.
But we should add other logic.
So i want to know the standard logic how to transfer PO data to SRM after creating PO.
    Thank you
    Best Regards

  • Error message for Confirmation

    Hi,
We have a error message for back end service entry creation  in the Application monitor for Confirmations.
There is no outbound or Inbound Idoc found with error.
From this error message how can we found the PO Number or Confirmation number to check whether the confirmation is posted or not?
    Thannks
    Jimmi

    Hi,
If you are doing confirmation in SRM , it is Extended classic scenario.
error : There is no outbound or Inbound Idoc found with error
You   have not created the IDoc  for the outbound Idoc for the confirmation to take to the backend.
Create the Message type and partner profile in WE20
Create Distribution model in SRM -T.code :BD 64
we found the PO Number or Confirmation number to check whether the confirmation is posted or not
Soln: Check in confirmation in display/process confirmation in SRM enter the  timeframe
(or) check in R/3  in ME23N by putting the Purchase order no and check the goods receipt

  • User exit for split of PO items

    Hi all.
In the creation of purchase orders from SRM shopping carts, we have a requirement to split the service purchase order lines in different items when the tax code in SRM is different. I mean, the requirement is to have only services with the same tax code in SRM in the same PO item. If the SRM tax code is different for a concrete service I have to split it in another PO item.
In short, what I need is to know any user exit, badi, etc... in the creation of PO for the splitting of PO items. Can anyone of you help me?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Manosij.
I have not much experience in SRM. I think that the difference between scenarios is where the subsequent documents of a shopping cart are created, is that right? In my case, the PO is created in the backend, in R/3.
In the shopping cart (in SRM) the services are created everyone in a different SC item, with the possibility of having different tax codes for each one. However, in the purchase order (in R/3), the services are grouped all together in a unique PO item, all of them under a unique tax code (EKPO-MWSKZ). What I need to do is to have a PO item for each different tax code from the SC. The services have to be under their correspondent tax code in the PO.
For example, I am creating a SC with two services, one of them with tax code VP and the other one with tax code V5. The PO must have two items, one with tax code VP and the other one with tax code V5. Currently, the PO is being created with a unique item with tax code VP. If both items in the SC would have tax code VP, it would be correct to have the PO with a unique item with tax code VP.
I hope this clarify my requirement.
    Thanks.

  • Get PDF data from RFC and send in email.

    Hello,
I need to get PO spool PDF from R/3 server into SRM server and send email from SRM.
Code for sending PDF in email is working fine if executed from R/3 .But in SRM server PDF
in email is not opening in SOST  transaction. Its showing error "Adobe reader cannot open document because either its not a supported file type or the file has ben damaged(for example,it was sent as an email attachment and wasnt correctly decoded).
Is this due to some server specific settings? Any help is appreciated!

    Hi Kanchan,
If the generated PDF file is opened properly in R/3 & not in SRM, then it should be a version issue.
Please check for any relevant note wrt SRM/PDF.
    Best regards,

  • Garbled French characters in EBP

    Hi Gurus,
I have a problem where my catalog contents are in French and the characters appear okay in CCM. However, as I add the item to my SC and bring it back to EBP, some of the characters become garbled in EBP. For example the letter ê comes in as a series of jumbled texts instead of the letter ê itself.
The other issue I have is also garbled characters in the search header texts. Does anyone know what's causing these characters to garble like that? And how can we fix them?
    Thanks.

    Masa,
    I checked the following:
    1. SRM Server code page
System-> Status, Unicode = No. In case of No, What is the code page? Where do I find this code page?
    2. OCI parameter http_content_charset from SRM. I have ~HTTP_CONTENT_CHARSET_ENABLED set to 1 in the ICF service for BBPSC01.
    3. Browser encoding in CCM screen. Is this where I click on the catalog name (category tree) or the following screen that lists the catalog items (product list)? What am I looking for here?
    4. OCI return encoding. Where do I find this? Use httpWatch tool?
Does it matter if we use internal or external ITS? We use external ITS and we only have this issue in QA and not in Dev.
    Thanks.

    Hi Siri,
    1. Analysis Process designer
The Analysis Process Designer (APD) is the application environment for the SAP data mining solution.
The APD workbench provides an intuitive graphical interface that enables you to visualize, transform, and deploy data from your business warehouse. It combines all these different steps into a single data process with which you can easily interact.
Use APD to pre-process your data:
? Read data from different sources and write it to a single location
? Transform data to optimize reporting
? Ensure high data quality by monitoring and maintaining the information stored in your data warehouse.
The APD is able to source data from InfoProviders such as InfoCubes, ODS objects, InfoObjects,
database tables, BW queries, and flat files. Transformations include joins, sorts, transpositions, and with
BW 3.5, integration with BW?s Data Mining Workbench (RSDMWB).

    2. Web Templates
    Web Template
    Use
This Web item can be used to manage consistent sections of different Web templates centrally within one Web template, which you can then insert into any Web template as required. In this way, you can define a header or footer section with the corporate logo and heading as a Web template and can integrate this Web template into your Web applications as a Web Template Web item. This Web template is then inserted during runtime. In contrast to HTML frame technology, the system does not generate a new page during this process. The context of the main template thus remains the same. In this way, you can display text elements and so on from data providers for the main template in the inserted Web template.

  • Error during XML = ABAP conversion

    Hi
We have a synchronous call from a SRM application through a proxy framework to a vendor http server through XI. The response from the vendor's http server is returned through a custom structure -and is returned through XI back to the calling SRM application.
After receiving the response, the calling SRM application checks for a particular field value of the custom return structure for a error code and sends out an email - accordingly.
Now, the response message comes back from the vendor's server - but the lines of code beyond the synchronous call in the SRM calling application does not get executed ( mail generation part ) I get the following error on the SRM front end - <b>Error in Exchange Infrastructure: Error during XML => ABAP conversion (Response Message; error ID: CX_ST_MATCH_ELEMENT; (/1SAI/TXS00000000000000000001 XML Bytepos.: 39 XML Path: Error Text: System e</b>
Now, this error when occured in our dev environment, I set the extended xml attribute property to 'X' for the synchronous payload in calling SRM application code. The problem is, this error is occuring now in our QA environment inspite of this property being set.
Any ideas/suggestions as to why this message occurs in a standard proxy framework setup ?

    Hi
Which SRM version are you using ?
Please do the following steps ->
-->Activate the services through SICF  - SRM transaction code.
    > Go to SICF transaction and activate the whole tree under the node Default host>sap>bc>gui>sap>its.
Right click on any of the services (there you will find option to De-actiave / activate the service)

    Re: Service Cannot be Reached
Please ensure IACOR service must be running correctly before publishing the HTML Templates using the report - W3_PUBLISH_SERVICES
When you are using the Internal ITS,you need not run the report W3_PUBLISH_SERVICES.(only SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INT )

NB. Ordering party has to be a company
Instead of Vendor ID, company ID (Organizational Unit maintained in SRM) should be used.
