SSO for Transaction Launcher functionality from CRM

Hi,
How can Single Sign-on be enabled when launching R/3 Transactions from SAP CRM? On R/3 system we have integrated ITS.
SSO is working properly for Action Box functionalty from WinClient for same R/3 box from SAP CRM system.
Thanks in advance and regards,

  • Logical System for Transaction Launcher??

    Dear all,
Should we define logical system for Transaction Launcher to call transactions from back end ECC system. If yes, why we do this and where we maintain the logical systems?
Can we use existing ECC logical system, whcih mapped with SAP CRM system?
Where can we define the logical system for Transaction Launcher?
Please clarify my doubts to complete this process successfully, your suggestions will be highly appreciated.
    Thank you
    Raghu ram.

    Hi Raghu Ram
In order to call an transaction from ECC, you should choose the logical system of the ECC System itself. You will get the information regarding the logical name assigned to your ECC System using the tcode SM59. The logical system must have been defined for the ECC System before you integrated CRM to backend ECC.
Check the tcode SM59 and you will find logical name of your ECC System there.
And yes, you are suppose to use the existing ECC logical system, which is mapped with SAP CRM system.
    Hope this helps

  • RFC error for Transaction Launcher to launch a CRM ABAP report  on WEB UI

    Hi all,
My Task is to assign a custom CRM report on the web ui.
I have created a transaction for this and using the transaction launcher wizard to assign it as a link on web ui .
In the transaction launcher wizard ,  In the 'Define Further Technical Details' i have entered the
    Transaction Type as 'BOR Transaction'
Logical system : my current system crm client which is QCCCLNT703
BOR OBJECT TYPE : tstc_uif (also tried with TSTC )
    Method Name : EXECUTE
When i try to click on the report on WEB UI, it gives me a status message saying the ''RFC Destination is not set up for QCCCLNT703'.
Can you please advice me on how to do this . I guess the issue is with the Logical system set up .

    Hello,
I think you have rightly pointed out the reason of the error. You must have maintained the logical system 'QCCCLNT703' using transaction CRMS_IC_CROSS_SYS. However you also need to maintain the same entry in transaction SM59 with name RFC destination name as 'QCCCLNT703'.
I hope this would fix the issue.
    Thankx,

  • Open ERP transaction within CRM 2007 using wizard for transaction launcher

    Hello everybody,
I am trying to launch a SAP ERP transaction within SAP CRM 2007 using the transaction launcher wizard.
First I maintained all necessary setting for the RFC connections (in ERP and CRM) using for example transaction SM59 and BD87, e.g. the master data replication is working fine. Second I created a business object type based on the SAP Standard business object TSTC and set the u201CExecuteu201D method to u201CSynchronousu201D in SAP ERP.
Afterwards I created the URL for our ITS server and started the transaction launcher in CRM. During the step u201CFurther technical detailsu201D I selected as transaction type u201CBOR transactionu201D and chose our logical system (ERP) and added our newly created BOR object type as well as the method u201CExecuteu201D. If I now press the u201CNextu201D button the error message u201CAn RFC destination could not be specified for the logical system XYu201D is shown.
    Any help is highly appreciated.
    Thanks lot and kind regards,
    Franziska

    Hi,
The error you get is because the client you have mentioned for logical system mapping and the client in which you created the BOR object are not same.
Remember, for sucessfull transaction Launcher Configurations,
    1) The client in which WEB UI Runs
    2) The Logical System mapping and client mentioned in ITS url
    3) The client is which you created the BOR object.
    4) The client on which you are configuring transaction launcher wizard
ALL SHOULD BE THE SAME CLIENT, unless you are using the OWNLOGSYS concept for logical system mapping.
    For example,
If my WEB UI is on client 200 of development system,
then i must create TSTC based BOR in client 200 , Map logical system for client 200 and configure trnsaction launcher in client 200.
In this approach, you cant transport the developments to other system and client ( like Quality and production system) , hence its advicible to create a logical system with name OWNLOGSYS. The name of logical system must be kept OWNLOGSYS in all the systems and clients so that then you can transport yout transaction launcher developments and the error you get now will not come. It its not possible to maintain the logical system with this name in all the system , then you will have to do as i mentioned in points 1 to 4.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Suchita

  • Using transaction launcher to connect CRM 7.0 to a CRM 6.0 system

    Hello Experts,
We are considering integrating two IC Web client applications one on CRM 6.0 and the other on CRM 7.0 as transition step before the two systems are fully integrated.
We would like to create a transaction launcher transaction in CRM 7.0 that takes the user to Interaction History bsp page in CRM 6.0.  Is there a simple way to do this using transaction launcher?
    Best Regards,
    Tom Halloran

    Hi,
You can use the transaction launcher and the transaction launcher profile, which is part of the IC WebClient profile, to start SAP GUI for HTML transactions via the Internet Transaction Server (ITS) from both Enterprise R/3, SAP CRM transactions from SAP CRM. Starting from CRM 4.0 Add-on, you can use transaction launcher to launch URL and front-office based transactions also.
Agents have access to launch transactions from the IC WebClient navigation bar.
In your case you can include the link for you CRM 6.0 from CRM 7.0 can be grouped under workcenter link group or direct link group of a navbarprofile.

    Hi Ashok,
    > I checked the sm59 in CRM box. the  RFC connection ( type 3) is configured for XI box (XI1CLNT100_RFC).
    > In SXMB_ADM of CRM box the correspoinding integration server is 'dest://XI1CLNT100_RFC'.
XI adapter uses HTTP connection. So create RFC destination with Connection type H and following parameters
    1 Connection Type: H
    2 Target Host: System name
3 Service Number: HTTP Port name
    4 Path Prefix: /sap/XI/engine/?type=entry
On the Logon/Security tab page, enter the following logon data:
1 User: XIAPPLUSER (for example); this user should represent the sending business system (see also the SAP XI Security Guide under Service Users for Message Exchange).
2 Password: the password you have specified for this user
3 Client: SAP XI Integration server
    4 Language: Language required
and use this HTTP destination in TA - SXMB_ADM configuration.

  • How to update a Z-table in ECC for the data coming from CRM

    Hi Experts,
I need to store the industry code and description from customer master from CRM into a Z-table in ECC.I have checked the BDOC segments is already there in CRM.This Z-table has to be updated each time when the user save the customer master. This Z-table will be non editable in ECC.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Sumit

    Hello,
Do you synchronize CRM business partner with ECC business partner?
Because in standard industry code & description are replicated between both objects... so I don't really understand what you try to do.
Anyway, if you would like to save some information in a Z table each time a business partner gets replicated into ECC, you can register a function module in table COM_BUPA_CALL_FU on ECC to do the job.
    Kind regards,
    Nicolas Busson.

  • Settings for delivery in erp from crm

    Hi
Can any one explain what basic settings to be done to carry out delivery in erp when sales order is created in crm

    Hi
    Please check the following:-
    1. The transaction type you create in ECC and CRM should be in sync. I mean it should have the same nomenclature is used in both the systems. Say Z001.
    2. The item category type you create in ECC and CRM should be in sync. I mean it should have the same nomenclature is used in both the systems. Say ZTAN.
    3. Availability check settings in ITEM CATEGORY which will be defined in SAP CRM. Define ATP Profile > Assign this ATP profile in the ITEM CATEGORY in SAP CRM.
    4. Please follow the SPRO settings in the following path in SAP CRM system:-
SPRO > Customer Relationship Management > Basic Funstions > Availability Check Using SAP ECC >
Follow the below steps in the corresponding SAP ECC system:-
1.Start transaction FIBF in SAP ECC, then go to menu Settings  -> Identification -> SAP Applications.
2.In table BTE Application Indicator, add the application CRMATP and set it to active.
Note:- You must be aware that the DELIVERY is created once the SALES ORDER is replicated to ECC from CRM. Above settings are required and should be done carefully. Please take help of an middleware expert to do the middleware settings.
    Hope this will help.

  • Check for transaction interface failure from POS to POSDM

    Dear experts,
Would like to see if in your experience, you have encountered any report or functions that allow users in POSDM to check if sales transaction from a particular store has failed to do the inbound interface from POS to POSDM?
I am personally not aware of this, so if there is no such report based on your knowledge, would you have any workaround solution that you can suggest me?
    Thanks so much.

    Hi Dominic,
There are certain validation checks we have in POS DM to validate the transaction data when it comes to POS DM. These validations are like Master Data check, Duplication check, Sequence check for missing transactions and so on.
You can find more about the same in the given link. I don't know my editor is behaving strangely so the link is on the top. I am not able to paste the links in editor links are coming on top. Might be my IE issue.
Regarding implementing such validation in POSDM for incoming transaction you can refer my posted document for Duplication check in POSDM. From this document you will get an idea about how to implement the validation check.
Let me know if you need any other information.

  • Replication of Partner Function from CRM 5 to ECC6 Issue

    Hi experts
Is someone able to assist with pointing me in the correct direction to resolve a partner function replication issue please. We create all entities/BPs in CRM, and replicate them to ECC.
We have a custom partner function, ZF, that is held against Payer and Sold-to in ECC. This is a separate entity in CRM, but is sent according to relationship assignment to ECC. We have noticed that this partner function is not being updated correctly.
    Scenarios:
Ending a relationship between Account/Customer (Payer/sold-to in ECC) and the Farm (ZF partner function) - the ZF partner function is removed in ECC. This is correct behaviour.
New Account or Customer creation in ECC with ZF relationship assigned, ZF partner function is being created in ECC. This is correct behaviour.
HOWEVER, when adding a new ZF relationship in CRM to an existing Payer/Sold-to, the ZF partner function does not get created in ECC. This is incorrect behaviour - new valid relationship should trigger ZF partner function in ECC.
Also, name changes to the ZF maintained in CRM, is not being updated in ECC for existing relationships. Instead, the Partner Function tab, ZF type, displays the old name for the Farm.
BUPAREL bdocs are being created and sent to ECC, however something is happening on the receiver end. How do we trace this, and does anyone have any ideas on where to start to find out what is happening here?
    Many thanks
    Cara

Solved, internal issue usage tab not being completed correctly so not assigning partner function

    Hi Chandra,
A more secure way of achieving SSO is with the
    SAP Log on Tickets.
You can find help for the same at this link.

  • Duplicated workflows  for fast triggering event from CRM

    Hello,
I'm facing an issue when a credit limit sales order is created in CRM.
They are creating the order and manking a change to it 5 seconds later. Those created and changed events are triggered with a difference of 5 seconds and in background, the first WF is triggered (with the created event) and 5 seconds later other instance of that WF is triggered (with the changed event).
The problem is that the first WF is not being logically deleted when the seconds one is created (it has a wait step at the beggining of the WF to end in case another instancer of the WF is triggered).
This is caused by a perfoirmance issue that when the seconds WF is triggered, the first one is still not listening to the changed event.
Do you know if there's any way to solve this?
    Thanks!

    Hi MatiasAZ,
In the first workflow(created) check the event. It should be the 'changed' event and proper binding should be there.
If everything is fine, after the wait for event create a process control with the option as 'Complete workflow'.
Initially your workflow should have the fork step type with two branches. Maintain the changed event wait step in one branch and created events step in other branch. So that the workflow will wait for 'Changed' event and workflow will be completed if the 'Changed' event occurs in the system.
    Thanks,
    Viji.
