Stacking by Filename - please add

I would like to see you add the ability to auto stack by filename. When I import my photos they have a filename. When I go to edit in CS3 LR changes from Raw (or JPG) and coverts to a TIF or PSD file, but it still keeps the same basic file name. Even though it stacks the Raw file and TIF/PSD file it doesn't stack the jpg you create in CS3 when you import to LR after PP in CS3. So you have to go to each individual file and group them (Shift or Command clicking) and then group them with a key or file command. This is very very time consuming when you shoot hundreds of photos at each shoot and them post process them. You end up with half of them stacked and half not (because the imported jpgs don't auto stack) so you still have to go in and group each individual file as if none are stacked to begin with. Sometimes I end up with 2, 3 or 4 jpgs for each Raw or Tif and have to do the process all over again 3 or 4 times.
The Autostack by Capture Time doesn't do any good because as a wildlife photographer I want my photos grouped by filename to keep track of my Raw, Tif's, jpg's and PSD's.. and the jpg I imported from CS3 isn't the same capture time and neither is the Tif or PSD. I, and I would think most people, group by individual file. Thanks

The autostack by capture time work does work, if you could set it for 0 time variance in Lr. When I edit an image in photoshop and resave it, photoshop does not change the capture time. This way you can change the file names but still stack different versions of the same photo.
