Std profit center report to campare daily sales report from BW

Hi
daily sales report (filtred throgh BW using Profit cneters and account groups) need to compare
with sap R/3 DATA . kindly update me where i will extract it ( like any s_alr_87..... reports in profit center ?)
let me clarify my query:
daily sales report is getting on the basis of profit centers through BW (revenue element and profit center wise)
where could we compare it with R/3

You can use following:
1. KE5Z (profit center actual line item report)
2. S_ALR_87009712 (profit center actual/plan report)
3. KE5Y (profit center plan line item report)

Profit center is not Detemined in sales order for a scenario below

1. profit center is maintained in Material Master
2.Create a sales order and enter the item , hit the enter key, Profit center is shown,
3. Now delete the plant at item level and hit enter, Profit center is not shown,
4. NOW ENTER THE PLANT AGAIN AND HIT THE ENTER KEY, THE PROFIT CENTER IS NOT SHOWN AT THE ITEM LEVEL,

Ensure that the profit center is assigned to your Sales order.
Also maintain the following settings in copy control.
Goto the T.Code "VTFA".
Select your valid combination.Details.
Double click on "Item".Select your Item category.
Details.
Maintain "Copy requirements" as "002".
Data VBRK/VBRP as "002".

ORBO - Daily sales report includes Order Init Transaction?

Can you please any one guide me in ORBO application,the daily sales report includes the Order init transaction details?

Oracle Retail application doesn't consider Sale of Item which has not been moved out from the store and in other words all the orders , layaway ,special orders Initiated considers will not be accounted as sale amount despite of retailer has received amount in advance( Item inventory get reserved for those transaction ) .Transaction amount of those transaction will be added in sale of the particular day when those transaction will get completed i.e. Item inventory ( SOH) get down .

Daily Sales reports - $0 price items

In the daily sales reports, I'm getting some rows showing $0 customer price and royalty price. These are for paid, not free apps. It shows a product type identifier of 7 (instead of the usual 1).
What does this mean ?
Anyone else getting these ?

I just realized that these are the no-charge update numbers.

A report writer tool like Crystal reports is not available due to the cost involved in its licenses.Do you think that Oracle Reports is free then? It's $$$$.
You can download and test it for free, but if you want to use it in production you have to buy a license.

Profit center is missing in the Sales Order Items

I would like to ask why a profit center field in the sales order item data is blank but in the material master, the profit center is maintained. Why was it not populated during order entry?

Hi Cynthia,
Please check if you have maintained Profit Center at correct place in Material Master. It is maintained at Mat master: Sales: gen/plant view (MARC-PRCTR)
If it is maintained here, it should get populated at Sales Order Item -> Account Assginment tab. This is Standard SAP behavior.

Profit center substitution in cross-company sales

Hi,
We're working here with cross-company sales and profit center.
Let assume that we have a final customer, sales organization (1090 and 1190) and plants (1090 and 1190).
1090 is selling to the final customer and 1190 will sell to 1090.
Everything is monitored from SD in 1090. So we create a sales order in sales organization 1090 for the final customer. Then for the item we change the plant (automatic proposed value 1090 => changed into 1190), this in order to represent a cross-company sale.
After we changed the plant ... we can see in the account assignment tab that we now have 2 "profit center fields". SAP notes 815972, 39254, 713228 ... explain that we can manage different values for the two fields (profit center and profit center billing) using subsitution (0KEL and 0KEM transactions). Unfortunately we're not able here to change the value for the Profit Center Billing field, even through an exit !!
Could anyone give us a hand on this ?

Profit Center Plans not updated in the reports

Dear All
We have an issue with the COPA Plan allocations. We have several versions that we use for planning.
We have run the plan allocatins in 0 version and the figures have flowed from Cost cneter to profiot center to copa.
for other versions, the plans have gone into COPA, however does not appear in the profit center reports, the cost center balance also has become zero.
Do you have any idea what the root cause could be?
(Profit center line itesm are activated for these versions.,)

You can try IMG > Financial Accounting (New) > General Ledger Accounting (New) > Planning > Transfer Planning Data from CO-OM
May be the integrated plan setings was not activated for these versions

Profit Center Substitution - cross company code sales

Hi all,
For each cross company sale, there are 2 invoices: intercompany and regular invoice. The intercompany invoice picks up the profit center but it does not show up on the regular invoice.
I am trying to use profit center substitutions to resolve this, but I'm not sure if this is the correct procedure. Reading note 815972, it seems like there is another method but I don't understand how this works.
Can someone explain this to me or has anyone done this before? What is the best practice?

Has anyone ever used profit center substitution for this situation? We would like the profit center on the customer invoice to be the same as that on the intercompany invoice. Should we do a user exit in the profit center subsitution, or is there another way?

No, profit center is always assigned at item level.
One of the reason could be, items in a sales order can have different profit centers, hence assigning at header level will impact all the items.

Profit center field is null /blank Not picking from responsible cost center

1) Does anyone know if it is possible to change the profit center on a PM order after transactions have occurred? I get an error that says:
You want to change the profit center for the maintenance order.
System Response:
The system does not let you change the profit center, because postings to the order have already taken place.
2) Even though profit center is maintained for the cost center of the main work center. Responsible cost center and Profit center fields are not being proposed by the system when the work order is being created using T-code IW31.
Because of profit center field is null the system automatically picks dummy profit center"9999". This is not correct.
Correct Profit center should comes from the cost center.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

I am creating a Maintenance order ,
In operation we have only one operation having control key as PM03 for external services ,
1)for external services PR is created through maintenance order
2) PR is converted PO and service sheet is created
So now is it possible to enter the profit center as the user has initially not enter the profit center .
What are the steps I need to follow to reverse the cost as in work order if I go to costing tab it is showing plan cost and actual cost
