Still can't listen to Style from Taylor Swift's CD1989

I still continue to hear the 8 seconds of static that was released a week before the album was released, and now going on a few days after it has been released it still made that noise on my playlist. I had hopes that if I deleted the cd that i would be able to redownload the enitre thing and be able to get the song, instead now it wont let me download it at all and am now without the cd. Also the itunes store had given me a credit, presumably for the song style when it had gotten released properly and am now out that money because of the static it forced me to purchase due to the pre-order and am stuck now with a useless credit.

Are you certain you have deleted ALL of MacKeeper?

If after you go thru all these steps; Then uninstall Flash:

Then reinstall the latest version 11.9.900.170 select your OSX from the installer, set Safari preferences "Save downloaded files to:" select desk top, in the drop down select other, then select desktop from the left column, this will put the stand alone installer on your desk top, open it and follow the prompts, close all applications prior to starting the install. When the install has completed, click done, quit (if necessary) and log out, reboot and log back in.

It appears that you are launching the old version, probably using an icon in your Dock. That icon is an alias & is not updated. You will need to go to your Applications folder & find the new Pages 5 icon & double-click it. Once it is launched, you can right-click on the icon & choose Options > keep in Dock from the contextual menu.

If I imported a CD into my iTunes library from one computer how can I listen to it from another computer? I imported music from a CD into my compter at work and when I got home and went to my iTunes account none of the songs were in my library. I also noticed that on my Work computer there were a couple songs that I had to click on the little 'cloud' icon before I could listen to them (these were not songs I imported they were songs that were already in my library). Not sure if this makes semse...help.

Only if you have iTunes Match or of the computers are on the same local network.

As far as I know you can't, which sort of makes sense, it seems logical to pause whatever you are doing while you take a phone call, which after all is the primary function of a phone.

Updated to latest ACR 6.6 but still can't open CR2 files from Canon Rebel XSi

I updated to latest version of Adobe Camera Raw 6.6 but still can't seem to open my CR2 files in Photoshop. Can't open them in Lightroom either, no preview in Bridge or OS.
I'm running OS 10.7.2 and Photshop 12.1 x 64 which is CS5.1 I suppose.
I've downloaded Canon's EOS utility hoping that would somehow do something as well but nothing.
The images were shot on Canon Rebel XSi which is certainly supported by the newest version of ACR. So I have no clue as to what's happening... I previously downloaded these images onto my old laptop about a year ago and everything was fine, however now I'm not even getting a preview in OS. Do I have to revert to an older version of ACR (perhaps the same one I used originally?) to open these files again? These files have been stored on a hard drive, so I'm not downloading them directly from the camera-again, this probably has nothing to do with it but not sure what to do. A lot of the posts I've seen recommend downloading the latest version of ACR to fix the issue, but again I've done that and as a matter of fact the camera (Rebel XSi) has been supported for some time now...

Something appears to be wrong with your files.
Are most of your images approx. 3.7 MB?
This is very small for a 12 MP image.
If you go back to the original file on your laptop, what is the file size?
Also the fact that the Mac OS is not showing the preview is unusual.
Perhaps these files got corrupted when they were moved to your new computer.
Can you open these files OK on your old laptop?
Is the OS showing the previews on your old laptop?
Also compare the file sizes between old and new computer.
Have you tried repairing your permissions?
Try Disk Utility in your Macs Applications - Utilities - Disk Utility to see if this helps.

Still can't open in CS3 from LR 2.1

I have updated to LR 2.1, re-installed Photoshop CS3, and done some other fiddles that were suggested in various places. But I STILL can't reliably send my files to PS the way you are supposed to.
Sometimes when I right-click "Edit in PHotoshop CS3" it works ok.
Most times it won't. When it won't, I look in Photoshops/Help/SystemInfo and see that Scripting support is ver 10.1 instead of desired 10.0.1. When it IS working, the Scripting Support is as it should be, 10.0.1. So I guess there is some remanent file or pointer to old version of Scripting support and probably other out-of date components, but how to fix it?
Since LR cataloging is completely affected by how you get your image into PS, this is more than just annoying. I understood Ver 2.1 would correct this (it says so in the readme) but no.
I have searched archives again, and looked through a few pages of topics, but not found anything recent on this. Doesn't mean it's not there, just that it's impossible to search effectively for most topics.
Can anyone tell me if there is any way to get this to work properly, and/or if Adobe are doing anything to correct it? I will not be buying CS4 just to fix this problem, since I have a policy now of not buying any new Adobe software until it works. That is becoming an increasingly long time. I just want my current software to work.

Does ACR open when you start the process in PS and use File / Open and select the RAW file? File / Open is how Windows would do it, not sure on a Mac, but whatever you'd do in PS on a Mac to open a RAW file, without LR being involved.
In other words, is the issue with PS opening in ACR or PS being called from LR?
Also, if PS is already open w/o any file being edited--not as a result of a bad open from LR, but PS manually started up, does it work right from LR? In other words if the invocation from LR doesn't actually involve starting up PS, but just communicating with the currently open PS does it work better?
You might just try uninstalling and reinstalling LR, again. Or even re-installing PS, although LR is easier to re-install so try that, first.

What specs do I have to look for? Version 2.0? A2DP? Any specific models recommended?

A2DP is a Bluetooth profile. If both Bluetooth devices have that profile, then they can share information in that way. See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth_profile

Installed Adobe Camera Raw 8.7.1 but still can't read raw files from new a7ii

Have latest update of LR. Just bought new camera A7ii but LR would not recognize raw files. Downloaded and installed Camera Raw 8.7.1 and restarted. Still can't recognize files. What did I do wrong?

Downloaded and installed Camera Raw 8.7.1 and restarted.

Changed countries, but I still can't music and videos from iTunes. Help!

I moved from Jamaica to Canada. I changed all of the account information and added a new credit card. My problem now is that iTunes itself won't update on my iPad. I don't have the option to purchase music or videos. I can still only access Podcasts and iTunes U, as those were only available in Jamaica.
How can I get the other options available? Please help. I wanna rock!

Go to iTunes and tap on the Music tab. Swipe down to the bottom left corner of that screen and you can access your ID. Tap on it and then tap View Apple ID. Enter your password. Then go down to County/Region and change that to Canada and then save the changes.
Hopefull that will work and you will be able to "rock".

Did you install iTunes?
Once downlaoded, iTunes should have installed, and open once installed.
If its not open you can look for it in your Start Menu in Windows or Finder in Mac.

Can I listen to music from my Apple TV to self - powered speakers and watch regular tv at the same time? I don't have a central receiver that splits everything, just the apple tv and the speakers.

Trying to play music from my apple tv directly to speakers and at the same time watch tv. Now I'm not that advanced at technology so I kinda need the easiest way to do this. Now I see that the Apple tv has an optical audio output. Can I set that optical out to self powered speakers and then have regular RCA cables set out from the tv to the same speakers and watch the tv on mute, unless I want to turn it up for a moment. I want to be able to airplAy music through my apple tv but also put a game on at the same time if I have guest. I hope my question was clear enough, but that's the best that I can explain it. Oh by the way, I do not have one of those centrAl hub receiver where all the speakers are plugged into and where you can set different inputs and outputs out of it. Everything would be a direct connection.

yes. u dont need the tv. turn it off.
1. direct connection (optical or stereo cables) to your amplifier
2. use mac to play to atv, or iphone/ipod touch to remote control the atv. (wifi)

Unfortunately CS3 does not support the 7.2 Camera Raw Plug-in. Here is a list of Raw-compatible Adobe Applications. From the list, you can see that Photoshop CS3 only supports Camera Raw 4.0 through 4.6. With that being said, the Raw plug-in Supported Cameras list states that you need atleast Plug-in 7.2.
With that being said, you will need to upgrade your software version to CS6 or Creative Cloud (CC) in order to support Camera Raw on your Sony A99. Photoshop Elements 11 and Lightroom 4.2 and above also supports Camera Raw for your camera model.
