  • STO from  excisable plant to non excisable plant

    Dear Experts,
STO process from Excisable plant to non excisable plant(godown) which is non excisable , So i want to transfer material through sto with out going excise invoice , plz let me know the whole process with configuration. one thing in the receving plant all excise dutys has to be inventriozed , how to deal with excise part in this case , plz give me some helpful answer with step by step.

    Hi,
1)First maintain Nondeductible taxcode for  BED , Cess, Shecess.
2)Maintain respective condition records in FV11.
    3) Create STO from receiving plant ( non excise registered plant)
4)Create dleivery for this PO in your issuing plant.
    5)Post goods issue.
6)Create excise invoice for issuing plant through J1iin
    7) Create Billing document for the same( You have to create new billing type for this purose and copying control for adding excise components into cost of product in Billing has to be taken care Ex: VTFL)
    8) Receive goods at receiving plant ( the ED components get inventorized)
    Hope this will help you.

  • STO from Depot to Mfg plant

    Hi Gurus
I am doing STO from RG23D depot to manufacturing plant (excise registered). I am using the SD/MM route for STO. I have maintained supplying plant as vendor (Depot) and maintained all excise details in J1id.
When i do GR for Delivery, i am not able to capture excise invoice generated at depot.
excise details are not maintained for vendor
    Regards
    Nishant

Then why dont you maintain excise setting for depot in J1ID

  • STO from Depot to Plant

    Hi
stock transfer has done from plant to depot,
now the same stocks have to be returned from depot to plant, now whether stock transfer has to be done or returns process has to be done?
If stock transfer has to be done how to capture excise i.e after delivery J1IJ or after billing J1IIn has to be done?
How to update the excisce details.
    Thanks

  • Third party with sto from supplying plant

    Hi,
When i am trying to convert Third party purchase requisition NB created through Sales order
to Stock transport order to transfer the material from other plant i am getting following error
    Error Message
Third-party not defined in the case of vendor with plant assignment
       essage no. 06769
You are entering a purchase transaction involving a vendor to whom a
plant has been assigned. Normally, this will involve the transfer of
materials from one plant to another.
This process necessitates a delivery and a billing document in the SD
system. The PO appears directly in the delivery due list of the issuing
plant (vendor) and therefore does not need to be transmitted.
However, an item with the procurement form "third-party" (triangular
business deal) cannot appear in the delivery due list.
An item with the procurement form "third-party" can only be ordered from
        vendors without a plant assignment.
Anybody has any suggestions on this scenario
    Diwakar

    Hi Niel,
You don't need to create an STO. If you create a normal sales order with delivering plant B, they will see it in their delivery due list or MD04 or whatever. And it doesn't matter for this purpose that the plants belong to different comp. codes. This will only matter after the delivery to the customer - VF01 (or VF04) with reference to the delivery will bill the customer (comp. code A is billing); then another VF01 will generate inter-company billing document where company B charges comp. A.
So why do you insist on having a STO?

  • STO from EOU plant to DTA plant

    Hi,
I need a help on one issue.
We are doing STO from plant to plant under one company code with delivery with SD(mvt type 641)
    I have done following steps
    1. Create ST PO ME21N (receiving plant)
    2. VL10F(supply plant)
    3. J1IIN(suppl plant)
4 MIGO against outbound delivery(Recei plant)
Excise invoice number- XXXXXX(Generated thro' J1IIN)
Now problem is that,as per excise laws, EOU pass on 20% BED, on that 2% ECS,1% ECS
But receiving plant(DTA) can take CENVAT on 18% only & remaining 2% has to be inventorised.
How to do this in SAP?
    Please guide me
    Thanks & Regards,
    Piyush

    hi ,
    Steps :
    1) Only capture the excise invoice at MIGO
    2) Then in J1IEX overwrite the values of credit taken to 18% value then ur 2 % value will automaticaly loaded on inventory.

  • STO from one plant to other plant

    Hi,
Can some one send me the various  way's one can send a stock from one plant to other plant with complete flow's.

    Hi,
Usually sotck transfers are of two types one is
    1. intercompany stock transfer between two plants of differnt company codes again in this two types are there
       i) direct step process Or one step: in this the quantity of the supplying plant is directly posted into the inventory of receving plant.movement type of supplying plant is 645
ii)Two step proces:in this the receiving plant has to do the MIGO i.e., goods receipt.movement type of supplying plant is 643
2.intra company stock process i.e., stock transfer between two plants of the same company code.in this again two process
    i) direct step process Or one step: in this the quantity of the supplying plant is directly posted into the inventory of receving plant.movement type of supplying plant is 647
ii)Two step proces:in this the receiving plant has to do the MIGO i.e., goods receipt.movement type of supplying plant is 641
For stock transfer configuration process make a small search in this forum u can get lot of stuff.
If it helps reward me .

  • STO from different plants to depot in a single excise invoice

    Hi all,
We are in exports, and have EOU and NON EOU plants, Now the scenario is we transfer all the goods to depot from Mfg plants. from there we do the single shipment.
we are implementing SAP. Transfering all the materials from Mfg plants to Depot through STO.
Form there want to make single shipment, which we received from diffrent palnts, When we are trying to do J1IJ it is taking delivery ref, and with in the J1IJ taking the mother invoice reference. Is it possible to club the all materials from different palnts and make one depot excise inovice.
    2) When I created ARE-1 with ref depot excise invoice it is taking all the details of Mfg plant details but not the depot detail. is it correct,
for more clarity the depot is issueing a CT2 to Mfg to transfer the material and against that Mfg plant is sending the goods by creating ARE-3, Depot will create ARE-1 while doing export to claim the rebate.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    Raghava

    Hi Jeyakanthan,
    Thanks for the reply.
I have gone thru the "Multiple Goods Receipts for a Single Excise Invoice " in Sap Help Documentation, what I have understood is that we can do multiple Goods Receipt against a Single Invoice. Here in this case we do the Goods Receipt against Purchase Order , do the Invoice Capture for first goods receipt againts Purchase Order and we enter the Invoice Number (say 745, sent by the Vendor) while capturing excise invoice. When the second shipment (against the same PO) comes, we do goods receipt and we refer the "Only Refer Excise Invoice" while doing the goods receipt. Finally after when we have entered all the shipments for the PO, we do the Excise Posting.
Here in our case we have already posted the Goods Receipt (without entering the Invoice Number in first goods receipt) and now we want to capture & post excise invoice for a Single Excise Invoice (Invoice No. say 745,).
Please correct me if my understanding is wrong.
Here we have got two options:
    a. Reverse all the goods receipt & re-enter the goods receipt .
    b. post two separate excise invoice against each goods receipt mentioning dummy excise invoice number like 745-A & 745-B.
Option a seems difficulty as we will have to reverse all the subsequent goods receipt & transfer posting documents.
Option b seems legally wrong, as per understanding.
    Request you to please advise.
    Regards

  • STO from one plant to another plant of same company code

    Hi Friends,
I have one specific scenario to map in SAP.
I am transfering gaseous material from PLANT 1 to PLANT 2 thru' STO delivery. PGI has done for Qty 18 MT from PLANT 1. GR against STO at PLANT 2, here GR qty 17.5 (actual) remaining 0.50 MT is not getting discharged as it is in vapour form. This short receipt quantity will go back to PLANT 1 and there it will be treated as truck recovery. When the next delivery will take place they will create the billing document for 18 MT again but in actual the truck will be loaded with 17.5 MT.
How to adjust In Transit stock of 0.50 MT? What will be the excise treatment for the same?
Looking forward to your valuable and early response please.
    Regards,
    Ravi

    Hi,
The goods which are loss in transit , you can follow it by scraping or do a physical count .
Receive Qty 18 MT  with 101, then scrap 0.50 MT with 551.
    OR
Receive Qty 18 MT   with 101, then do a physical count and post the difference.
    OR
Donu2019t receive Qty 18 MT   ; let the issuing plant cancel the goods issue. And redo with the correct quantity Qty 17.5 MT   . Then receive this correct quantity.

  • MRP STO from multiple plants

    Hi All,
Is there any way that we can configure standard SAP to look in multiple plants before it can create a STR for special procurement key ?
    thanks for your help.

    Chandru,
If it is your only business requirement is to manually search other plants for stock, you don't need to do anything special.
When you are in the sales order, perform your ATP.  On the Availability control screen, you will see what the ATP situation is against the plant contained in the sales order.  If the proposal is unsatisfactory, you can clik on the "other plants" button at the top.  It will propose a list of plants that can supply this product.  Select the ones you want, and proceed to the next screen.  It will show you the possible commit dates available for each of these plants.  Select the one you want, and it will then perform a standard ATP check against that plant.  If you accept the results, it will change the plant in the sales order item to the one you have selected.   Save.
Yes, a bit of work.  But, no more than you would have to do if you manually searched for stock, and then transported the stock to the original plant.

Seems like the stock is not available for the particular material, thats why it is picking up the less amount which is available in stock, or the ATP check has blocked the stock available, and you have certain pieces available currently for the said material.

  • STO ( In between Plants )

    Hi,
    -stock-transfer-order.htm
    and process is......
Follow the below steps to to make STO between two plants ( different company company codes). It is also called as Inter Company STO.....
1)Create one Customer Master in XD01 with respect to Supplying Plant Sales Area and assign this Customer no with Receiving Plant in OLME->PO-> set up STO->Define shipping data for plant and for the supplying Plant assign the above sales area.( Make sure,In Customer Master, sales Area Tab: you are maintaining shipping condition)
    2) For Receiving Plant Pur. Org and Co.Code Combination create Vendor master in XK01 and in this vendor master assign the Supplying plant in Pur.Org.Data screen->Extras--> Add.Pur.data
    3) OLME->PO-> Set up STO------>For your supplying plant assign document type NB, Delivery type NLCC and Checking Rule RP
4)then For your supplying Plant and receiving Plant assign Document type NB
5)Make sure you are maintaining Sales View for the material at supplying Plant and in Sales /Gen plant Data view maintain Availability check, Loading group and Transportation group.
    6) In SPRo-->Logistics execution> Shipping->Basic shipping functions->Shipping point Determination>assign shipping points-> For your Loading group,Shipping Condition and Supplying plant combination,Assign shipping point
these are the configuration settings you have to do in background.
Then Create STO from Receing Plant in ME21N with document type NB.
Based on that STO, Create Delivery in VL10B from supplying Plant
Do PGI in VL02N from Supplying plant
Do GR in MIGO at Receiving Plant keeping Outbound delivery as a ref. document.
Now your STO bet. two plants belongs to diff. Co.Codes will be completed.
STO Bet Plants belongs to Same Company Code...It is also known as Intra-Company STO:
1)Create one Customer for Supplying Plant Sales area and assign this Customer no with Receiving Plant in OLME---> PO -
    > Set up STO -
    > define Shipping Data for plants. and maintain the same sales area in your Supplying plant.
    2) In OLME---> PO -
    > Set up STO.....for your Document Type: UB and Suppying plant Combination assign Del. Type NL and Checking rule RP
    3) In OLME---> PO -
    > Set up STO...for your Supplying Plant and Receiving Plant combination Maintain Doc. Type : UB
Make sure you are maintaining Sales View for your Material at Supplying Plant.
    4) Maintain Shipping point at, SPRO----> Logistics Execution -
    > Shipping -
    > Basic Shipping Functions -
    > Shipping Point Determination for Plants.....there for your Loading group,Shipping Condition, Shipping Plant combination maintain Shipping plant..
Now Create STO in ME21N with Doc.type: UB at Receiving Plant.
Then Create Delivery in VL10B from Supplying Plant...
Then Do PGI in VL02N from supplying Plant.
Then do GR at Receiving Plant based on Outbound Delivery at Receiving Plant...

  • Stock value for stock transfer from depot (RG23D) to manufacturing (RG23A)

    Dear all,
The forum posts that I found are all relating to the process of how to do stock transfer from depot plant to manufacturing plant.
The question I want to post is relating to the transferred stock value.
When stock first goes into depot plant (RG23D), the excise duties (CVD, Education Cess, Higher Education Cess, Secondary Education Cess) are all inventorized. However, in manufacturing plant (RG23A), they are CENVATABLE and not inventorized.
In the transfer of stock from depot to manufacturing, how can we split out the stock value from depot and take out the excise duties to CENVAT in manufacturing plant?
If using Stock Transfer process (move stock from depot to manufacturing),
    1. Create Stock Transfer Order in ME21N using UD order type
            no accounting
    2. Create DO in VL10B and goods issue
During goods issue, moving average of stock in depot plant, will increase stock with the same value in manufacturing plant and reduce the stock value in depot plant. How can we reduce the stock value transferred to manufacturing plant by the original excise duties amount, and pass this amount into J1IEX? Is it done in this step or later steps?
Dr Stock into manufacturing plant  [this value by right, should be reduced as it consists of original excise duties in RG23D?]
            Cr Stock from depot plant
    3. J1IJ- RG23D selection for excise invoice for delivery at depot
        no accounting
    4. VF01 for proforma invoice
       no accounting
    5. MIGO into manufacturing plant (capture excise invoice)- part 1 register. the excise duties can be manually keyed in based on the original RG23D entries when stock is first brought into originating depot plant
         no accounting
    6. Enter Incoming Excise Invoice by J1IEX
         Dr CENVAT Input AED
         Dr CENVAT Input BED
         Dr RG23A ECess
         Dr RG23A SHECess
               Cr CENVAT clearing
    7. Question: Where to Debit CENVAT clearing? In normal domestic purchase process of raw materials into manufacturing plant, Dr CENVAT clearing will be posted during MIRO time.
If this process is not the correct way to do, please advise the standard SAP recommended way to transfer from depot to manufacturing plant.
    Thank you in advance.

You have to add the Excise duty condition types as a Delivery cost Pricing condition types in STO Pricing procedure and have used them in STO. In Pricing procedure, there is no concept of Deductible and Non Deductible. So, what ever the Delivery cost condition you add in Pricing procedure, the amount gets loaded on to the Material cost..To avoid this, a negative condition type needs to be inserted in Pricing procedure with a different accrual key.
You have to add One Positive condition and One Negative Condition type for the same. Negative condition type is to reduce the condition value from the Material cost during GI.
Try this scenario in development server and revert back with your observations.

  • How take setoff from DEPOT to Factory transfer of material

    Hello,
While Captured the Imported material in Depot, and CVD and AED and all duties are Inventorised in Moving avg price of the material.
So then i will transfer that material from DEPOT to factory, then how can take the set off for that material in factory.
    Regards
    sapman man

What exactly you want to follow, i mean you want to follow the returns process for STO or you want to deliver the goods from depot to plant through normal STO for rejected materials.
Here both STO and RSTo possible from depot to Plant:
    STO: From depot to plant:
    Step1: Create Stock transport order
    Step2: Replenishment delivery at depot
Step3: Update RG23D register with referece to delivery document, choose incoming document as reference in J1IJ.
Step3: Do the MIGO at manufacturing plant - 101 movement type - here we have one issue related to excise invoice. If you give excise invoice in MIGO system will not copy the excise details from depot excise invoice. We have to enter excise details in MIGO manually. We have done this recently.
RSTO Proicess is little different from this process
    Thanks and regards

  • Returns - STO from PLANT to DEPOT

    Hi All
Can someone explain the process of STO - Returns from Plant to Depot..
    1. we have moved material from plant to Depot using STO(excisable goods) and Updated RG23D entries at Depot

    Hi All,
    Process for STO Depot:-
    ME21N-Purchase order STO
    VL10B - Replenishment delivery
    VL02N - PGI
    VF01- Proforma invoice
    J1IIN - Excise invoice
    MIGO - Goods Receipt
    J1IG - Excise Capture
    VA01 - sale order
    VL01N - OBD
    J1IJ - Excise invoice
    VF01 - commercial invoice.
    J1IDEPOTSTOCK - RG23D Report.
    Returns from Customer to Depot
    1) Create a Depot return sales order in VA01 with reference to original billing document
    2) Create Delivery
    3) Create Transfer Posting using MB1B with Movement type 453 and dont forget to make a note of the material document number
    4) Go to J1IG, click "Capture". There enter material document number and the respective series group. Then click "details". Now select the line and click "More documents". Maintain the excise invoice number created at supplying plant.
Returns from Depot to supplying plant
    1) Go to J1IG and click on red icon from the toolbar. Enter material document number created during MIGO, year, series group of Depot and hit Enter button. Now click on "Item" so that you will be taken to next screen where you can see line item for RG23D cancellation. Save so that system prompts you asking whether you want to cancel the entry. Click YES.
    2) Verify this by going to tables J_1IEXCHDR & J_1RG23D. Check GRPO entry in both the tables where the status must have changed to "D"
    3) The original excise invoice can be canceled via J1IH and check whether DLFC entry has the status "R" and at this time entry CEIV is also created confirming excise invoice and CENVAT reversal.
