Store image from a "for" structure

Hey everybody !
For a project, i need to take four different images and compare them later. So I've made a structure "for" to enable me to change parameters for each image. My problem is I don't really understand the way "autoindexation" works. When I try to create an indicator after the structure, there are four images but they're all the same. I've read in a post that it's a problem of addressing the image but I don't know how to actually get to the image itself.

When you autoindex on the output of a for loop, each iteration of the loop will form one element of the resulting array.
In your case these elements are images that are all the same.
I don't know what the sub-vi with the 'play' icon is doing, but each time the iteration runs it is being passed the same parameters so presumably will always do the same thing... therefore always output the same image. I would guess that in order to get different images you would need to provide different parameters.
The other option is that is is acquiring images so quickly that they all look the same. Try inserting some timing into the loop to pause between acquisitions and see if that makes a difference.
Are you expecting the other sub-vi (with the default icon) to interact with the other sub-vi in some way?
If you post an example of your code it would be easier to help.

The problem has to be the image itself, but then you give us zero information.
We don't even know what platform you are on, Macintosh or Windows, what exact version of the OS, of Photoshop, or Word you are using, how you are getting what kind of image from Word, etc.
It could be that you're just copying the low resolution thumbnail preview from MS Word, but we know nothing about its dimensions, resolution or format.

Cannot connect to itunes store msg from ipad for past 10 days

I have been trying for over a week to connect to itunes to update my aps. I keep getting msg saying "cannot connect to itunes". no error msg other than that. I have most current version loaded, i have tried connecting thru wireless at home, at office and on 3G. Same msg everywhere. I have turned off ipad, waited and turned back on. I have synced ipad and laptop. I have changed password several times. No problem using Safari, no problem using aps installed, just can't get to itunes to update them. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. oh, I have also read everything Apple has on their support links also.

Could be many things... Software up to date? Disabled your anti virus software? Turned off the Firewall? Your internet connection...

Pixelated images from iPhoto for iPad

iPhoto for iPad is a fantastic application, but very often although the images I edit look ok within the application, when I look at them in any other application (including apple's own built in photo browser) they are heavily pixelated, or some parts of them are missing altogether. The same thing happens when I beam or email said photos to my Mac.
I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the app, I even went so far as to restore my iPad (non jail broken iPad 2, 64Gb, WiFi+3G, running iOS 5,1,1) from a backup, but the problem persists.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

In the Photo app on the iPad in the Photos tab > Edit I can select pix, but the red Delete button is greyed out??? Puzzled.
Is there any other way to delete a range of pictures or an Album in the Photo app (or in the iPhoto for iPad app)???

How to reference images from CSS for a portal component

how can I reference an image stored in the standard "/images" folder in a .PAR file from a CSS file?
I tried
.myHTMLelement {
   background-image: url('/images/TAB.bmp ') }
but it does not work (the image can't be found).
I don't want to use the API
request.getWebResourcePath() + "/images/saplogo.gif
in my JSP because this needs to get into a CSS file.

When project is deployed, the JSP's are usually located in private section:
<i>\usr\sap\EED\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\portal\portalapps\projectname\pagelet\someJSP.jsp</i>
but the CSS is in public section:
<i>Z:\usr\sap\EED\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\portalapps\projectname\css\someCSS.css</i>
Now if you want to include the CSS in JSP I think you HAVE TO use the <i>getWebResourcePath</i> method:
<link rel="stylesheet" href='<%=componentRequest.getWebResourcePath()+"/css/someCSS.css"%>' type="text/css" />
or directly define the style:
<style type="text/css">

</style>
Just check your deployment and fit it to your needs...

Need to Extract Image from Database for Report

Greetings,
I have two databases that I could work with; both are for card access users. One is an old Access 98 database, the other is a SQL database,
In the tables I can "see" references to employee_photo and badge_picture_path respectively, but when I run the Report, the Image is not retrieved.
Any ideas how I can overcome this ?
I am trying to create a hard copy in a binder, so that new guards can thumb through the binder and familiarize themselves with employees.

Hi Peter,
What format are the pcitures saved in. I believe they have to be either BMP or JPEG. Any other formats will not work in Crystal.
Have a look with the sample Extreme database. The Employee table has a picture field, very similar to what you are using. If you create a simple report with it, can you see the pictures?

Saving .png images from Photoshop for FCP

Is it best to save them as Interlaced or Progressive?
They are for import into Final Cut Pro, then exported as part of a motion menu for use in DVD Studio Pro.
Will one option give better quality over another?
The project is SD PAL.

You can't detach email attachments as separate files, though you can view supported formats as attachments. If you're viewing webmail with Safari, the attachments aren't saved on the iPhone.

What settings are best to export sharpened images from Photoshop to use in Final Cut?

I need to give a professional photographer the correct dimensions to export her images from Photoshop for me to use in Final Cut. I told her:
1080 x 1920, 300 dpi, and also to Convert Images to Apple RGB (Final Cut doesnt work well with Adobe RGB, I am told). Her images have alot of heavy sharpening on them--she is an artist--and when i import them into Final Cut, many of the lines that should be crisp are zig-zagged, and if I apply motion to them, they "shake."
My problem is specific to images that have been highly sharpened in Photoshop; i have imported lots of professional images before with no problem. I am on deadline and hope someone out there will see this.

You were right about trashing the finalcut plist. As well as a very specific set of directions I now have put together from what you and others have said elsewhere, and this is it, i hope it helps others with their Canon XHA1 and Final Cut Express HD:
Trash the final cut preferences (plist) in your Home - LIbrary.
go into the Canon XHA1 menu, make sure that you're not set to down-convert to DV.
Get out of the menu. Shut the camera off,
plug in the firewire cable to both the camera and computer,
and turn the camera back to VCR mode.
Open up Final Cut, and go to Easy Setup ,
choose HDV- Apple Intermediate Codec 1080i60
This worked beautifully but took me nearly four hours to figure out, including researching the web and experimenting in FCE HD

Project Structure Images from css not showing in subfolders....

Hi, I'm a newbe to JSF but really want to learn how to use it as Im currently doing a college project with Hibernate, and the JSF managed beans seems ideal for projects like this, anyways here's my prob...
Im using Netbeans 6.8 for a web-project with the normal folder structure, so in the Web Pages folder, i've an
index.xhtml intro page
css folder
js folder
images folder
pages folder for rest of pages
and obviously to access the css in the index page i'd include:
<link href=css/style.css rel=stylesheet type=text/css />and then to access and add images to the index pages from the css, i the style.css file I have e.g.,
body{
     font-family:sans-serif, Ariel;
     font-size:12px;
     background: url(../images/bg.png) top left repeat-x;
} and so on for all the js and ajax stuff which all works fine.
However in the pages subfolder say I've a page called solar.xhtml well then while it is possible for to access the css's by using ../ as in
    <link href=../css/style.css rel=stylesheet type=text/css />which adds the colour scheme and font types etc.so it's 100% getting this, however the images from the images folder are not being displayed, which I really can't understand as if I change the page to solar.jsp then it works fine also all the files inthe js folder are being accessed from the subfolder with ../ just not the images.
Would really appreciate any help or advice you could give me....

Why can 't I store images on my SD care in Lightroom mobile for Android

I don't understand why I can't store images on my SD card. I get that a mobile app can't ever have the same functionality as the desktop version without taking up all the memory, but what on earth made someone think it was a good idea to store images in memory that is not only highly limited, not upgradable, but also used by other apps and more importantly the OS. Why can't I store images on the MicroSD card. That thing can be 128gb which is enough storage to work on a decent collection of images.
I would love there to be some more control over aspects of the image, but what there is works well. It also syncs effectively and there isn't that much lag between each event, but what happens when I need to edit 50 images from a device I keep in my pocket [which theoretically should be viable]?
The most useful feature for me is processing images I've taken with my phone, and syncing them back to Lightroom...
Please tell me that external storage is going to be added?

Retrieve Image from SQL Server and Store in Oracle

Hi All
I want to retrieve the image stored in sql server as a image type and store that image to oracle as a BLOB type.
I tried to retrive the image from sqlserver using getBytes and when storing to Oracle i have to type cast the byte array to BLOB then only it will be inserted please tell how to typecast byte array to BLOB.
Or is there alternative way how to retrieve the image stored in sql server as a image type and store that image to oracle as a BLOB type.

Just got my iPad 2 back from apple for battery exchange. It was updated to iOS 7.02. Trying to get all my apps back but my App Store is locked onto a purchased app and won't let me do anything. Help ,

My App Store is locked at an app I purchased and won't let me make any selections. What do I do. I just got my iPad back from factory for new battery. It was updated to iOS 7.02 at factory. Have not been able to take a movie either. Will take picture. No idea what square is, but won't let me select it either.

Try close all apps in multi-task window
1. Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view
2. Swipe the app's windows upwards to close
3. The app will fly off the screen

Just use the same Apple ID and password that you used to access this forum - that's your Apple ID.
The user name and password on your computer has nothing to do with your Apple ID.
