I Facing a very strange Problem ,
I Created a Z function Module in which I used function modules like BAPI_PR_CHANGE & BAPI_REQUISITION_RESET_RELEASE & BAPI_REQUISITION_GETRELINFO
The Problem with the function module is that when i run the Function module through se 37 by F8 it is not giving me expected results
But when i run the function module through SE 37 with the same set of values but now in debugging mode it gives me desired output strange!!!!
Any Ideas are welcome

I'm sorry to say this but I think that you are all wrong, actually, and the original poster is right.
I'm sharing this because I don't want to forget about this in the future and search for it again.
So, in fact the problem is when you reset a release status for a Purchase Requisition and you want to reset the previous release status immediately after, using either BAPI_REQUISITION_RESET_RELEASE or BAPI_REQUISITION_RESET_REL_GEN. The problem is the following line of code:
CALL FUNCTION 'ME_UPDATE_REQUISITION_RELEASE' IN UPDATE TASK
So, the update to the database is made in update task... Which means... I think... you just have to wait...

Bit of a strange one.... HD Movies "Judder" when streaming to ATV2

Bit of a strange one.... all my HD Movies since the latest ATV2 update "Judder" when streaming.
It's very hard to describe but whenever there is a fast Zoom or Pan shot the image flickers for around half a second. It seems to happen every 20 seconds or so, this has only been the case since the latest update of ATV2.
I purchased Tron Legacy (HD) from the iTunes store and it occurs when playing that movie. It also happens on all my self generated HD contect.
Strangely it does not occur when streaming to my 1st Gen Apple TV, which makes me think it has nothing to do with my Home Network setup, as they are both connected via Ethernet cables.
There is only a problem with HD Streaming and ATV2.
Any assistance would be appriciated

The last update seems to have introduced a feature which lets the Apple TV detect the native frequency of your TV, in the UK this is probably but not always 50 Hz, this is beneficial for Home video and broadcast content in these locations where the frame rate is 25 fps. It isn't ideal for 30 fps or 24 fps content though which most of the iTMS movies and TV shows are.
Also of relevance is that some TV's make a better job of telecine/detelecine than others due to the quality of their components.
Although I don't necessarily think that Apple are responsible for the ability of 3rd party TV's, the problem could be easily overcome by allowing the user to manually select the Apple TV output as was the case with the Apple TV 1. This would allow the user to switch to 60 Hz for 30/24 fps content and 50 Hz for 25 fps content.
Some TV's have motion settings which worsen/improve the situation depending on their settings.

Most annoying bugs and one mighty strange one!

Ok so ive tried using logic 8 for time sensitive projects but ive switched back to 7.2 for now due to a pretty long list of bugs, some of which i outlined in another post. but the most annoying for me are the following.
- on closing a project with alt/apple and W, the app quits everytime !?
- strange graphic redraw problems on the mix when changing values
- mixer mode / view changes when it feels like it.
- some prefs not remembered like track header modes.
- mixer channels dont sync to order of those on the arrange page (busses etc)
- my mackie control universal does not sync on selecting a buss.
- windows dont remember their positions and same with save/load, export/import locations.
- AND heres a weird one. on exporting a 2 track master from logic, i then usually trim in peak pro 5 ... this works fine but once trimmed it wont save (in peak) or re open in anything. i ve tried repeating this in logic 7 and no problem so it must be something logic is doing in the export ?? ive checked all permissions on the file etc and their normal. i can open the file on my pc just not in peak as i usually do. very weird.
i am clean installing logic on a new macpro this week so ill report if these are solved,
anyone else experienced these?

I'm so glad to finally hear someone confirm the problem with bus/auxes and control surfaces. I was beginning to think it was just me.
i'll add that packing a folder with multiple tracks and then unpacking it will duplicate the tracks.
also weird redraws just on scrolling through the mixer (example the 'EQ' text goes off center.

Strange one day adding to tasks due date (Outlook –SharePoint- MS Project integration)

I have integrated MS Project 2010 with MS Outlook 2010 via SharePoint. Everything has gone more or less smoothly (as it could be for Microsoft
J), but finally I got into a strange problem. Strangely enough,
MS Outlook, while syncing tasks with SharePoint (these tasks are pre-created in MS Project and synced with SharePoint beforehand),
adds one day to due dates of each of these tasks, e.g. for “Task 1” due date in MS Project and on SharePoint is 20.10.2010, but MS Outlook puts it as 21.10.2010, for “Task 2” due date in MS Project and on SharePoint is 22.10.2010, but MS Outlook
puts it as 23.10.2010, etc.
What is a strange trick? I have checked work time, holidays - everything is the same in MS Outlook, SharePoint and MS Project (8-17, Mon-Fri, 8 hours, 40 days a week). What could it be?

It seems nobody can reply, so I will reply by myself because I found out the answer. The answer from Microsoft is pretty simple - ha-ha we know about,
we will work on it, wait, ha-ha. Firstly let me quote Microsoft senior tech answer on the same request 3 month ago:

The senior tech got back to me with the following conclusion:
Outlook is rounding everything set to 12:00 PM or after to the next date because the columns mapped to start date and due dates are only Date columns,
not date/time columns.
It is rounding at noon because of the .5 decimal. This can be seen in Excel - 41115.5 = 7/25/2012 12:00 in date/time format whereas 41115.49 = 7/25/2012
11:45.
The issue seems to be an expected behavior, the next level of support is working on the same but currently I have not been provided with any ETA, so
it looks like the issue will take a good amount of time to get fixed.

Sounds good, does not it? Ok. After asking this question recently I got run-around and finally I found the same question unsolved (see the quotation
before) more than 3 month ago. I have sent it to Microsoft Tech Support. Look at reply I got from them on 22.10.2012:
"This issue has been noticed and will be handled by the product team. Once we have any updates, it will be responded to you timely".
So the basic function does not work properly, there month passed - no way! Wait until what? I could hardly
even imagine how Microsoft launched the product with such a bug and is not resolving the problem for months.

Here's a strange one...I have 16.0.0.305, but not always?

I suddenly started getting notes flash up telling me I needed Flash Player to access a particular function on my PC. Strange, I thought, I always keep it up to date.
Long story short, I have endlessly updated, checked it's getting past my anti-virus etc, checked it's working...it's is. Yet now I have a non-conformist printer refusing
to co-operate because 'I need to install Flash Player'.
I have 16.0.0.305 version downloaded...everything is working fine, except for my printer now. The msg says that I don't have the correct version for IE. But I don't use IE, I use Firefox, and my printer has
worked perfectly up to this point. I use Windows 7.
The error msg is:

Bit of a strange one this. Any help appreciated.

I have been stuck on a PPC g5 2gb dual tower for the last 8 years. 12 months ago the internal power died and I paid to have it repaired. A couple of weeks this happened again. It's not really economical for me to repair it and I really need to be getting up to speed before I fall further behind the Mac community. With this in mind I took the plunge and bought a new MacBook pro this week. I am excited about the possibility of this machine but my issue is this. I presume it will come with lion or mountain lion installed.
My G5 tower had two internal drives one with leopard and one tiger. A newish western digital caviar black 1.5 tb disc which was partitioned into a 1tb and a 500 mg drive. Both these were to host the OS 10.5.8 my files iTunes iPhoto mail docs and other bits. The other internal drive was a bootable 10.4.7? Disc running audio apps cubase etc
I presume the internal discs are still intact and readable although the Mac is dead. How will I migrate the data to the new MacBook pro. Is it advisable to buy an external usb3 enclosure and get the data somehow that way. Then I can use these drives as backups for the new Mac.
I know most poc programs I had will need to be replaced. However will I be able to get my iPhoto and iTunes library back from the redundant drives and what about my mail? Is there anything else I need to be aware of and will it be a complete nightmare or would this process be straight forward. I know I am moving three operating systems ahead so I can only imaging I may have some difficulty. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely. However, do note that it might in all likely hood boot with Snow Leopard, since the firmware has changed. At least that's the consensus amongst those buying up iMacs, MacPros, and MBPs. Apparently, won't work with the ones shipping with retina displays. That said, it might behoove you to spend $20 USD and get a Snow Leopard install disc. Borrow another machine, install it onto an external HD, update it to 10.6.8 and other OS X apps, and try booting the new MBP with it.

Either that or a combined FW800/USB 3.0 enclosure. Then, consider updating the Leopard volume to Snow Leopard. Then, hook it up to the new MBP, follow the steps in Pondini's Setup New Mac guide. Once that's finished, try booting with the SL ext HD. If that works, then you'll be able to use all legacy PPC apps except the classic ones.
If successful, whether or not you wipe Lion/ML from the MBP, clone the SL volume to it, or clone the Lion/ML volume to the ext HD (another partition) so you can play with it, is up to you.
Bottom line is you can probably do most of your current Leopard work with the MBP running SL. If so, then you can take your time examining whether or not to move forward to the iOSified OSs, Lion and ML. I compute with SL and play with the others, but, since I have no iOS or wireless devices, they don't offer much for computing and minor security improvements.

Strange one or perhaps not that strange??

In all my years working with netware client software I have not seen the
problem I'm about to describe. The workstation is a Win '98SE running NW
Client 3.4.0.0. Yesterday and for the last 12 months or so it has been
going great. We've just installed SBS 6.5 and want this workstation to Run
Consoleone. Installed Consoleone OK but then on first execution it was
suggested installing the NICI. I did that and since then the Novell login
screen does not have a window for the user name and the password. Pressing
login gives error because it does not have a name and password to validate.
I uninstalled the client and reinstalled the client several times. I've
done an uninstall is safe mode as well as normal windows mode. I also
uninstalled the NMAS and the NICI and did not reinstall them. I'm at a loss
as to what is going on. I want to use this workstation to manage the
server. Can anyone help me with this one?

Ok, i used to have an iphone and i had connected it to this computer i use, but then i lost it so i just bought a new one but a used one, so when i decided to connect it to the pc, and make icloud andbackup and all that, i was asked if i wanted the old backup or just go forward like the phone was new, and i was all like hey great, I can get my old stuff back..! But no! I got the former owners stuff, and photos, and all mine got lost,.. and I'm not so smart using Itunes, and I have no idea if i can get my stuff back, and all the photos of my little baby..:(.. is there anyone who can help me or know if my photos or lost for good :/??

A strange one - setPixels only works against the left of the screen

the width in setPixels() is being added to the x. since the width is the max value its overflowing.

This is a strange one...

For some bizarre reason, while I'm typing something out in chat or something like that, all of a sudden my punctuation marks change to different symbols. If I shut down FF (V 3.6.12) and restart it, the problem goes away for a while and then all of a sudden comes back. (the text I have already typed doesn't change... It's like something gets switched in my keyboard and all text typed after that is hoaky) If I open a Word or Notepad and start typing once this has started the text is all fine... Go back to FF and it's still messed up. I'll try to show a map of what the symbols are transposing to when it happens again.

I understand what you are saying about table order. I mentioned things in that manner because the 'out of order'-ness of the layout matches the out of order in the DB table perfectly.
Usually, the new entries appear at the bottom, but the new entries appear at the top of the table.
Using the option to sort by ID in the plug in's control panel should work. Problem is, my display order is 11, 12, 1, 2, 3, 4...etc.
The datatype of the 'pid' field is 'bigint(20)'
Can the table be refreshed? This is part of the problem with plug ins written for popular open-source programs like WP. No way to fully check things, so we get to be the beta testers. Yee-ha...

Class location issue. simple but strange one..

Im trying to figure out how to find out where the class file Im running at different location. Here is the example.
xxx.class is at c:\a\ and set classpath "set classpath=c:\a\"
at c:\b\, type java xxx to run xxx which class file is at c:\a\. is it possible to know programically that xxx knows the actualy file is at c:\a? if you get current working directory, you always get c:\b\ since it is where the JVM starts.. am I thinking too much? =) thanks in advance.

In a system-independent fashion? I don't think so.
However, if this is running on a UNIX system, you could use a combination of find and bash scripting to locate the classes for you.

A strange one-can recieve email, but not send

Okay, I have a powerbook G4 with an airport (graphite) and a siemens wireless gateway/modem provided by T**us
my mom's ISP. She can get on the internet okay (providing the signal doesn't get dropped, which it does) and downloads are fine, and she can recieve email, but not send. I have tried changing the smtp port to 587 from 25. Nothing from the activity monitor and no "whoosh". I have also tried setting up a new account (pop3) which the connection
doctor says is okay for sending and recieving. Any suggestions before I spend an hour or so with T**us' tech support
which for Macs isn't that good--frankly, I think the airport needs to be out of the picture---maybe it's fighting with the gateway??? :confused:

Hi John: Did you get the "Send" issue figured out with your computer? If not, here are some things to check out. It sounds like you are using Telus. If so the settings for incoming and outgoing servers is as follows: Incoming > "pop.telus.net" Outgoing > "smtp.telus.net". Server port is 25, with no SSL enabled.

Strange one-can't recieve emails+typing is really slow

I've checked the server settings (haven't changed ports, though)
as per the title of this message, recieving is okay, but sending doesn't work
and when I try to type in the general message field of what I'm sending, it's very very slow
oh, and I'm using 10.4.9 (don't want to go to 10.4.10 yet)

Actually, according to the title of your post, sending is OK and it’s receiving that doesn’t work...
Assuming the title is wrong, and your description of the problem is correct, this could be caused by some Launch Services cache or preferences corruption that affects the built-in spell checker. The following article describes how to manually reset Launch Services — the notes at the bottom of the article also provide information about the side effects of deleting each of the files involved:

If you prefer using a cache cleaning utility instead of following the manual procedure described in the previous article, take a look at this other article for general troubleshooting and cache-cleaning procedures. Actually, you should also verify/repair the startup disk (not just permissions), as described there:

The most appropriate utility for this particular problem probably is Tiger Cache Cleaner, but you may also want to consider other utilities, such as OnyX, or Cache Out X, which are free. Whatever utility you choose, be sure to read this first:
Side effects of System cache cleaning
As an example, this is how you should proceed with OnyX:
1. Quit all applications.
2. Launch OnyX and enter your administrator password.
3. Go to Maintenance > Reset and check LaunchServices database.
4. Un-check any other pre-checked options.
5. Click the Execute button.
6. Restart the computer.
