Strange problem with LabPython when calling datetime.strptime()

Here's my code.
Whenever this is run, I get the following error:
Error 1050 occurred at PYTHON Execute Script__ogtk.vi->Writer.vi:<type 'exceptions.TypeError'>, attribute of type 'NoneType' is not callable
The code works perfectly in python. Any ideas of how to get around this problem?

As noted by nyc, LabPython is not supported by National Instruments.
To help you, I give you a piece of advice :
If you want to integrate in LabVIEW a script in Python which has been developed by you, I suggest you to try to replace all the VI by the Python 2.2 Script node
If you want to share the library "python.27.dll", I suggest you to try to reverse the first and the second VI (first, use Python New Session.VI and then use
Python Set Servers Path.VI)

Strange problem with reminders when waking iMac

I'm having a strange problem with reminders in Mountain Lion, and I thought someone might be able to help. If I have a reminder set, and it goes off when my iMac is asleep, after waking the iMac I can't dismiss the reminder. I can click on "Close" or "Snooze" once, and there is the puff of smoke like it has been dismissed, but the notice is still on the screen (even in the Dashboard view), and hover over it only gives the spinning beachball and I can't access notifications with the two finger swipe. So far, restarting my iMac is the only solution I have found to this situation.
Is anyone else having this happen? Is there an easy solution? Thanks!

Strange problem with SQLPLUS when client and server on the same box

Hi,
I have the problem with SQLPLUS when clinet and server on the same machine.
With client and server on the same machine i am running the command
sqlplus -l username/password@connect_identifier as SYSDBA.
With this command, even if you pass in wrong username or wrong password or both as wrong you can able to connect to database and execute queries.
Once Connect_identifier is correct and trying to log in as SYSDBA ,sqlplus will log in to DB with any username and password.
How to get rid of this behaviour. Is there any way to do this.
I am running this command by creating a process in C#

XSLT Mapping - problem with prefixes when calling template

I am having a problem with using an XSLT mapping in XI to combine various fields from 2 input messages of different structures into a single output message. I understand that XI puts a wrapper around the 2 input messages so the structure of the XML I am mapping is:

When I test the mapping it works fine until it calls the FormattingTemplate. Then it throws out a "transformer exception" error saying the prefix 'ns2' is not mapped to a namespace.

When testing the stylesheet locally with XMLSpy, it works fine, but I have just noticed that it adds information in the root tag of the target message as follows:
<(root of target message) xmlns:javamap="java:systemDate.CurrentDate" xmlns:ns="http://example.co.uk/example" xmlns:ns2="http://sap.com/xi/XI/SplitAndMerge">
I checked the root tag of the target message in XI and it does not automatically add this information. Thus I added it in my stylesheet so the information above is projected in the target message, but the same error message appears when the call template function is called. Do you know if I need to somehow add a namespace to templates other than the main one? If so, do you know how I go about doing that?

We have a situation where PR to PO conversion needs to happen through a custom program which submits ME59N in batches. During this conversion, it's a business requirement to update the PO's GS Partner function based on the manufacturer in the first item's inforecord.
In order to do this, we have implemented the badi "ME_PURCHDOC_POSTED". The only method within this is "POSTED"
In order to update the PO, I use "BAPI_PO_CHANGE" inside this badi with IN BACKGROUND TASK addition. The reason behind this is that this BADI is called before the commit that creates the PO happens. And by calling the BAPI_PO_CHANGE in a background task, I ensure that it's run after the commit has happened.
This approach works extremely well, but fails in certain scenarios when executed for large PR to PO conversion where certain PRs exceed 300 line items.
Since the background task call cannot be debugged, I used the enjoy bapi_po_change exit EXIT_SAPL2012_004 to dump the return table to a custom table or the application log, to check what has happened.
In the instances that this has failed, the return table's content was -> function "change purchase order" performed in test
I assure you I have NOT used the test flag. I even applied a couple of SAP notes that mention this issue, but still had no success. I am waiting for a proper response from OSS at the moment but this is a real headscratcher.
Also importantly at this point, the PO was successfully created.So the partner function change should happen without issues :'(
Have any of you come across this issue before ? What steps have you taken to overcome this issue ?

Strange problem with titles when exporting to Quick Time

I recently finished a project. It includes some simple titles - mostly lower third consisting of 2 lines, left justified. When I export to QT, the centering on the titles mysteriously changes - flipping from left to right. I keep going back to the timeline to double check and even do them over again, but the same thing keeps happening over and over again, often on a different titles. I've also tried copying the timeline to a new project. When I export the files through compressor, a completely different set of titles uncentered themselves. When I go back to the original timeline however, all the settings are correct. This is most aggrivating! I've never had this problem before. Any suggestions appreciated.

No - it's nothing I haven't done before. I'm simply using the Boris Title Crawl with the chalkboard font. Very simple stuff. When I export to a FCP self contained movie, the centering switches from left to right within the shot - so the titles looks animated. When I go back to the original timeline, all the settings are correct. Sometimes if I redo them, the problem corrects itself..but then another title goes off center It makes no sense.

Problem with sqlplus when called from forms

Dear friends,
I have the following problem, we are using forms 10g and database 10g,we are using client_host command to call sqlplus from form and the query which is being run by sqlplus is supposed to take an input from the client and return results. there is no problem in that. but the problem is the sqlplus window opens only in minimized mode and the users wants it open in maximized mode by default.
this is the code i am using to do this

I'm not sure allowing end users access to a sqlplus session is such a good idea. A savvy user having a bad hair day and becoming disgruntled could wreak havoc on your database if he/she has the right permissions. Besides, I've heard rumors that Forms is really good at accepting user input, querying the database, and displaying the results :P

Strange problem with Subviews on 1.0 Beta

I'm having a strange problem with SubViews on 1.0 Beta. I'm not sure If I'm being stupid and have done something wrong, or if there's a problem here.
My application is directly based on one of the examples, so the structure etc is almost identical. I've simplified the files below to avoid confusing the issue.
The default landing page (greeting.jsp) looks like this:

Interestinly, I tried adding a ${SystemStatus.system2Available} into the body text, and it was rendered as literal text (i.e. not evaluated as EL), which is very curious -- makes me wonder if the included file is included as text, rather than JSP, although the custom taglibs and <f:form> tags etc are not in the generated HTML.
If I lift all the content between the <h:form> tags (inclusive) out of sysstatus.jsp and put it in greeting.jsp in place of the <jsp:include> tag, all is well.
Any ideas? All help gratefully recieved!

Personally, I think it is a bug in the rendering model of JSF itself because if you include any non-JSF tags, they don't get rendered according to my understanding of the what the spec says (in the location the tags are written).
The only workaround that I could come up with is to use straight JSF tags in all of your layers. Things are then rendered the way that they "should" be rendered.
You could try wrapping all of your HTML tags in <f:verbatim> tags and see if that helps.

Strange problem with connection to Integrator Server

I have a strange problem with making a connection to my Integrator Server.
I have one workspace folder that I share between Integrator version 2.4 and 3.0 (I have several versions installed for testing purposes)
When I try to create a new Integrator Server Project in Integrator Designer I get this nice 'Connect to CloverETL Server' panel.
By default: the connection URL is http://localhost:8080/clover. So by default Integrator Designer wants to connect to my 2.4 Integrator Server.
When I change this to http://localhost:8301/clover by using the drop-down box and fill in my credentials everything is looking fine. I click Next.
The problem now is that every time I switch to the next or previous configuration windows the connection is reset to the default http://localhost:8080/clover.
So it seems like Integrator Designer resets the CloverETL Server URL each time I switch to a different configuration window by using NEXT or BACK.
The problem occurs in both versions of Integrator Designer.
Does anybody know that the problem is? Can I change the default URL to my 3.0 Integrator Server?

I'm using iPlanet App server as well and experiencing similar problem. I load my SQL Server driver by Class.forName("com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver"), then use DriverManager.getDriver() to obtain the Driver.
However, the Driver returned is not the SQLServerDriver as expected. The Driver returned is com.netscape.server.jdbc.Driver! And then when I do Driver.getConnection("jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://MyServer"), it throws an SQLException saying that it doesn't accept a jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver subprotocol. Well, of course it doesn't, it's not a microsoft Driver at all.
I suspect the problem is that the netscape Driver's acceptsURL() method ALWAYS returns true in iPlanet app server, thus when you getDriver(), the netscape Driver is always returned (and always returned as the first one since it's default?). Thus even though the same piece of code works fine as a standalone application, it just doesn't work on iPlanet app server.
My work around is:

Mind that my above code does not have an performance issue. If you look into the source code of how DriverManager get a Driver for a particular URL, it also loads the whole set of available Drivers, then call acceptsURL() method on each of them to find the first "suitable" one. Thus time complexity is the same.
I know this is not a very elegant solution and it defeats the purpose of having a DriverManager. Does any one else has a better way to solve this problem, like a way to specify the priority of each Driver so that SQLServerDriver is returned before the netscape Driver?

Strange Problem with Mail & Address Book

Hi,
I'm having a strange problem with Mail & Address Book.
When I go to compose a new message from Mail and hit the Address button (to show my email addresses), it won't launch the contacts window!
I get this log from console;

Strange Problem with tableView:didSelectRowAtIndexPath:

I have a strange problem with selecting rows in a table view (iPhone OS 3.0):
I select a row in the table view and the method tableView:didSelectRowAtIndexPath: doesn't get called. After that I select another row in the same table view and the method gets called, but with the indexPath of the first selected row. When I select a third cell in the table the method tableView:didSelectRowAtIndexPath: gets called with the Index Path of the second selected row and so on
When I click on the same row for example n times in succession, tableView:didSelectRowAtIndexPath: doesn't get called, but when I select another row the method gets called n times with the index path of the first row.
I'm using different table views in my app and in only one of them I have this problem. Unfortunately I have no clue whats the cause for that behavior. (the problematic table view is created and used like the other ones).

Strange problem with purple-remote

Hi, I experience a strange problem with purple-remote (program which allow to control Pidgin via D-Bus) :
To get the current status message, you have to type
$ purple-remote getstatusmessage
This works, but when I type
$ echo $(purple-remote getstatusmessage)
this fails with the error

Strange problem with motherboard H67MA-E45(B3) =( please help

Hi, I have a strange problem with my motherboard . I have a H67MA-E45 (B3) (MSI-7678) , when i try to update it ( http://www.pcbrain.it/images/stories/msi/H67MA-E45/bios/14.JPG ) , i choose the fourth option "Select one file to update bios" , but the bios did not recognize the update file (E7678IMS.1C0) into the Usb flash drive , but if i choose the second option (select one file to boot) the file is recognized. First I made a backup of the bios, and into the USB flash drive has been created a file called "E7678ICX.162" (my current update). Why the extension is IXC ?!? it should have been IMS ! . I tried changing the file extension "E7678IMS.1C0" (the new update) into "E7678ICX.1C0" and when i select the fourth option , the file is recognized! . Obviously I have not started the update , but if I proceed with the update, changed the name of the extension, is it safe? Or do damage?..please help me :(

Still think there is a batch conflict or possibly a bad stick in the new sticks. Might test each new stick individually for a bad one. Again, the other solution for an 8BG kit may be the new Kingston HyperX PnP's. Could you post a screenshot of CPUID's CPU-Z Memory & SPD Tab for one of the new sticks?
Added: Actually, screenshots of the old sticks Memory & SPD Tab may be of help too. It may be tRAS or tRFC differences between the two kits. Just speculation at this point though.

Strange problem with Domain Values

Dear All,
I encounter one strange problem with Domain Fixed Values.
Background:
We have a custom domain ( ZXREF2) created for custom data element(ZXREF2) which has replaced standard dataelement in BSEG for field XREF2. This domain has 12 Fixed values. The idea was to have F4 help for field "Reference Key2" in FBL5N/FBL01 tcodes. It is working fine with these 12 Fixed value, means, on F4 we could see all these 12 values and when selecting a line from F4 the entry got thru the screen validation ( plz note hat this validation is like checking the mandatory value so this is done even before PAI).
Problem:
The requirement was to add a new line to F4 values( tecnically, 13th record in domain ZXREF2). We added this line to domain and moved to Quality system. Its working fine in both Dev and Qality, but the strange problem occured after moving and testing in Production.
In production, we could see all 13 lines in F4 help. BUT, after selecting the new one( 13th one), and after the value appears on screen field, when Enter is pressed, it gives error message "Enter Valid value".
This error message also comes when we enter any value which is not there in F4. That means, system is able to recognize the new value in F4, but falied to validate that.
We thought that, this might be the problem with Buffer, and request Client to re-start the system. Even after system restart, it still gives the same error message.
Please note that, the error message is triggered even before PAI of the screen called. So noway( I already tried system debugging) we can debug this error message to findout the rootcause.
Any quick help would be highly appriciated.

I guess DB Utility ( SE14 ) is to be run only when there is a change at structure level, to make Runtime and Database objects in sync. Here, we just added a new line to existing domain, and this added a new row to the Database table DD07T/DD07L.
Could you please expalin it more clearly if your view is different that what I just described.
