Stretching 0-255

the values in my 2D integer array are greater than 0-255. How do I stretch the 0-255 range to cover my values. i understand there is a get StretchDouble method (or similar) but cannot locate it.

Ummm, you cannot stretch numbers, they are defined to
be what they are... otherwise I'd stretch my student
benefits so that I could actually live a life...
What are you trying to do?The color band for an image is 0-255. i have a 2D integer array with values in excess of 255 which i am going to covert to a 1D integer array and thereafter an image. Therefore, how do I re-assign the values in my 2D integer array to the 0-255 range.

  • Stretched VLAN

I'm trying to setup a stretched vlan between two of our sites, but am having little joy.
I have a 2600 router at each site with the fa0/0 interface connected to a 100Mb COLT line.
The fa0/1 interface on each connects directly to a trunked switchport on a 3750 switch.
Basically, I want to create a vlan with an ID of 50 which spans both sites.
I've tried allsorts, but am drawing a blank.
Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance...

    Paul,
Thanks so much for your reply. I think I'm nearly there, but I have one more question for you...
The detail below is how I have my interfaces setup on the routers at each side:
    ROUTER A:
    interface FastEthernet0/0
    no ip address
    speed 100
    full-duplex
    interface FastEthernet0/0.50
    encapsulation dot1Q 50
    bridge-group 50
    interface FastEthernet0/0.254
    encapsulation dot1Q 1 native
    ip address 10.0.254.25 255.255.255.248
    interface FastEthernet0/1
    ip address 10.1.254.1 255.255.255.0
    speed 100
    full-duplex
    interface FastEthernet0/1.50
    encapsulation dot1Q 50
    bridge-group 50
    interface BVI50
    ip address 10.1.50.28 255.255.255.224
    ROUTER B:
    interface FastEthernet0/0
    no ip address
    speed 100
    full-duplex
    interface FastEthernet0/0.50
    encapsulation dot1Q 50
    bridge-group 50
    interface FastEthernet0/0.254
    encapsulation dot1Q 1 native
    ip address 10.0.254.26 255.255.255.248
    interface FastEthernet0/1
    ip address 10.2.254.1 255.255.255.0
    ip ospf network broadcast
    speed 100
    full-duplex
    interface FastEthernet0/1.50
    encapsulation dot1Q 50
    bridge-group 50
    interface BVI50
    ip address 10.1.50.29 255.255.255.224
My idea is that I would segregate the traffic on to different subinterfaces to keep things simple.
Interface fa0/0 on each router is connected to the leased line. From ROUTER A I can ping the other fa0/0.254 ip address, but I can't ping between fa0/0.50 on each side...
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Loops not stretching to match tempo

I moved my loops to an external drive and then remapped them but now when I drag one into my arrange window it will not match the tempo. I also can't stretch it manually. I'm sure I did this before and I'm having trouble finding information about it both in the manual and online. How do I do this?

aha, thanks! I notice though that it does not always snap to the grid even though the time does change. Is there a way to do this manually?

  • I am attempting to plug my mac into my tv. I am using the mini dvi to s video adapter. When I plug it in, the display goes all wonky and becomes stretched and enlarged.

When I attempt to connect my mac to the monitor using a mini dvi to s video adapter the display becomes enlarged and stretched. I cannot seem to fix this using the system preferences or the quick keys that allow you to zoom in on the display. Any suggestions?

I am using MAC OSx 10.5.8 (9L31a) as my operation system.  The TV says "No signal.  Check connected device's power, cable connection and source selection."  Seems to me that that goes in hand with what the Samsung tech said about the Mac needing to be forces to use the external display.  But how do I do that?

    Hi guys ,
Something really weird happened to me , i have the following code  to create a  flat file , suddenly it is truncating the lines in 250 ,  its funny i see  wa_ti_fich+330(5)   in the debugging and it has data , but the whole wa_ti_fich is only 255 long , ive tried with type char600 , with the same result , i cant use type string beacuse is not allow for unix file .
data: begin of ti_fich occurs 0,
            linha(527),
          end of ti_fich .
    wa_ti_fich-linha+49(15)  = montante.
        wa_ti_fich-linha+64(2)   = '02'.   "codigo moeda 02
        wa_ti_fich-linha+106(2)  = '01'. "Codigo de la situación.

        wa_ti_fich-linha+496(2) =  itab_saida-regio.
        wa_ti_fich-linha+501(5) = itab_saida-pstlz.
    append wa_ti_fich to ti_fich .
please don send me links for scn  or google with similar subjects because i ve already checked it , believe me .
    thank

255 is the maximum output lengh for CHAR variables in the Old Debugger. So it is normal that you don't see the end of the string in the Old Debugger.
If you have a newer R/3-Release you can use the New Debugger and choose the output format "Tabular". In this display format, the contents are portioned into 50 characters each and thus you'll see the complete string. In older R/3-Releases, where the New Debugger is not yet available, you will have to input manually offsets in the debugger to see the complete string.

  • Dynamic SQL and 255 bytes per line limit

I would like to create a Dynamic SQL statement that is longer than 255 bytes. What do I need to do to embed a carriage return or something so that the resultant string is broken up into multiple lines?

Please ignore. This was a stupid question!

  • How do i use the stretching tool in soundtrack pro

i have a split track song with muitiple track.got them all loaded in soundtrack pro, when i play the track there are i lot of skips please help big project for fathers day

O.K. so do you need to slow down the music, or speed it up? That's what the stretching tool is for, like in a video scene where the music slows to the tempo the actors are speaking. To use it; you must have an audio file: export multiple tracks by selecting them and choosing Export from the file menu. If you're trying to interlace audio then you should export each track individually and paste them together in an audio file. Next select the audio you want to change then drag the parameters of the selected music: either forwards to delay, or backwards to speed up, just like changing the crop of a photo. Be aware that you can drastically change the audio, trial and error works best, just use Edit>undo till you get it. Also try removing some clicks and pops in analysis.

  • Crystal Reports XI String [255] limit with the File System Data driver...

I was trying to create a Crystal Reports XI report to return security permissions of files and folders.  I have been able to successfully connect and return data using the File System Data driver as the Data Source; however the String limit on the ACL NT Security Field is 255 characters.  The full string of data to be returned can be much longer than the 255 limit and I cannot find how to manipulate that parameter.
I am currently on Crystals XI and Crystal XI R2 and have applied the latest service packs but still see the issue.  My Crystal Reports Database DLL for File System data ( crdb_FileSystem.dll ) is at Product Version 11.5.10.1263.
Is it possible to change string limits when using the File System Data driver as the Data Source?  If so, how can that be accomplished.  If not, is there another method to retrieve information with the Windows File System Data being the Data Source?  Meaning, could I reach my end game objective of reporting on the Windows ACL's with Crystal through another method?

    Hello,
This is a known issue. Early versions you could not create folder structures longer than 255 characters. With the updates to the various OS's this is now possible but CR did not allocate the same space required.
It's been tracked as an enhancement - ADAPT01174519 but set for a future release.
There are likely other ways of getting the info and then putting it into an Excel file format and using that as the data source.
I did a Google search and found this option: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/16772-45-display-explorer-folders-tree-structure-export-excel
There are tools out there to do this kind of thing....
    Thank you
    Don

    Hi,
I have a requirement to show data as stretched text in the rtf output. I tried it by electing the data field in the rtf template and changed the spacing to 3 point in font tab. But when I preview it, the text appears normal.
Is there something which I am missing? Is stretch text supported in BI templates or not?
    Thanks.

The HTML validator finds one problem that might be related:
    http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.historicalfictionbybobturpin.com/upload_test/blog.html
''"Warning: Byte-Order Mark found in UTF-8 File. The Unicode Byte-Order Mark (BOM) in UTF-8 encoded files is known to cause problems for some text editors and older browsers. You may want to consider avoiding its use until it is better supported."''
I'm not sure if this is related or not, but it might be useful information for your programmers. I tested your link on my Linux computer, but I did not see any problem with the page using Firefox 5 or Firefox 6. (Perhaps the problem only affects Firefox on Windows computers.)

  • How to turn off the Stretch Alignment feature?

Hi, I am just learning how to use the text formatting options and have been experimenting but for some reason  any new text box I create now and type something, the Stretch Alignment is on and stretching everything I type.  How do I turn that off?
    Thanks!

There is no "stretch alignment" option for text, so I'll assume you mean either justified alignment or horizontal scaling.
If you're getting big gaps between words, change your alilgnment from "Justified" to "Left"
If letters themselves are getting stretched, make sure horizontal alignment is set to 100% and nothing higher.
If these are both set correctly and the words themsleves are getting stretched, you may have scaled the text block itself using the Scale tool. Easiest thing to do is delete the text block and add the text into a newly created text block.
Avoid scaling any text blocks with the Scale tools as this will also distort the text. If you just need to make the text block larger or smaller, use the Pointer tool, and drag any one of the four control points of the selected text object.

  • Stretching image to snap to preestablished paths or guides.

    Hi, everyone.
I have an important task at hand and don't know how to do it in Photoshop. I hope my explanation will make sense. Here is my situation:
I have an existing image that I must stretch (using whatever tools are best for this) so that this image assumes the shape or contour of some pre-existing guides I will scan into Photoshop. Just imagine, for the sake of simplicity, that I have an image with 6 circles. The circles are orange inside and red outside. This image has been brought into Photoshop with a digital camera. I also have oval or elliptical contours on a printed book that I must scan and convert to a path or guides. The oval or elliptical contours are also 6 in number and laid side by side just like the circles. Here are the questions I have:
    1. What is the best way to bring these elliptical shapes into Photoshop ? How can I transform them into guides or paths so that I can stretch the circles and have them snap to the elliptical guides to match their shape ?
    2. Can an image snap to a guide located on a separate layer ? In other words, if I place the scanned elliptical shapes on a different layer, will I be able to stretch the circles so that they snap to these elliptical guides ?
    3. As I stretch the circles to transform them into ellipses I need the transition from borders between the circles (orange) and background (red) to maintain their appearance (the transition is a somewhat smooth graduation and not a harsh one. What is the best tool for this job ?
    4. I need the elliptical shapes to be connected but also individually manipulated. In other words, if necessary I need to be able to scale all elliptical shapes together so each maintains its proportion to all others. However, I also need to be able to scale individual ellipses while others adjust. In case I increase the width of ellipse 2 I need ellipse 1 and 3 to decreased their widths to accommodate this change. I hope this makes sense.
I would appreciate it if you could share your experience and suggest what you think is the best way to address this task.
    Thank you in advance,
    Joe.

Instead of trying to crop and use the Ken Burn's effect. Have you tried to choose the "Fit" option? Or you can try this option will might allow you to export it out as a "landscape" image which hopefully will be what you're looking for.
Click the crop button and then click the button that says “Allow Black.” Now you can adjust the size and position of the green box to choose the new dimensions of your video.
To finish up, choose Export movie. HD 720p (1280 x 720) will preserve the original quality as much as possible. If that works, you can try to re import the video back into iMovie and see if that solves the problem. Hopefully that works.

  • Time stretch audio file to match tempo of track

Hi everyone, I am a new user of Logic express, and have found the info on this site extremely helpful, in conjunction with SFlogicninja's tutorials on youtube.
However, after watching a recent tutorial on Time stretching audio, i am now completely confused. Similar to the tutorial, i am trying to fit an audio region(an acapella track) to the tempo of the project. I have beat mapped the region to establish a tempo, but would like to experiment with slowing down or speeding up the track as a whole. As the acapella was created outside of Logic, i am bouncing the acapella track in order to be able to 'follow tempo'(as shown in the inspector). I have disabled the 'normalize' checkbox and bounced, but the bounced track still does not have the 'follow tempo' option in the inspector.
Any ideas as to why my bounced files cannot follow tempo. I can do it with audio that i create in Logic, but if i import any files, i was under the impression that by bouncing it within Logic, i could still obtain the same results?
I'm running out of hair to pull out!

Oh really, it is supposed to be fixed in v 9.1.7
Then I'll have to give it a try.
    Hi
    Seems to work OK here

Did I understand correctly that just by ""renaming"" Logic 9.1.6 inside the application folder it will keep it functioning in case I wanna revert to it later??
Yep (but you will probably still need one called "Logic Pro" to get Software Update to see it)
I have mine setup to quickly switch from 32bit to 64 bit (2 copies with different names) and also previous versions.... works fine
