String dilemma... how can I do this?

Hello.
Lets say I have a string that looks like this..
String s = "1:0.375  2:0.33  5:0.244  88:433"What I need to do is, add 1 to every number preceeding the colon sign. In other words, the String should look like this:
String s = "2:0.375  3:0.33  6:0.244  89:433"Your help and feedback is much appreciated!
