Structure field name combitantion errror

Dear Friends
I have a structure and it has component 'kln' is division of qals-losmenge by qakl-anzklaseh but in the structure combination is not accepted.Have any suggestions for this.And it offers me enter a field into entry/help check part of structure definitons.

I know but what can I used for this situation I entered as a table qals and as a field qlosmenge but it doesn'T accpeted.Have you any suggestions.

How to get text of itab header and structure field name dynamically?

HI.
I'm just trying display itab to web.
of cause I can use <htmlb:tableView> but I need display by loop itable for my special reason.
the table is dynamic structure that means header line should be changes depends on structure description.
'<htmlb:tableView>' certainly can display header line dynamically with just itable only.
but don't know how to get these text and structure field name without 'tableView'.

DDIC structure means struture made from SE11?
if yes,that's what I'm trying to display table.
and my sepcial reason is this:
my final purpose is download dynamic table to excel file.
but when I download table comes form "<htmlb:tableView>" with changing http response header that shows some link error and useless icon and no table grid and etc...
"<htmlb:tableView>" resulting lot of useless tags and script.
think iterator has no function removing extra tags
so I'am trying to make simple html table.
but problem is that itable is not just one structure can be more than 100 kinds of structure.
in this situation is there any way to display dynamic itab into simple html table?

Structure field names at run time.

Hi Experts ,
i am not sure whether this is right question or not. i have on structure say X with fields name and age. is there any way to represent this field with the help of another variable at runtime.
ex : Can i represent X-name as X-i where 'I' is s a string and will hold 'NAME' as a value.
can this be achievable. kindly give reply.

LDB PNP, selection screen, org structure field name ?

Generally, what are the names of the additional selection-screen fields? There are twenty odds pnp...., the standard ones. But what is the name of the org. structure, the 4th button selection options group fiels? (I need ids of all Org units from org. structure subtree, or the root org id at least)

Get field names of an internal structure

Hi,
In my program, I have a structure created via begin-of/end-of.
A table is based on this structure and later on, I use a macro that deals with the field names and values.
I'd like to make the macro dynamic, in that it gets the table field names with hardcoded values.
Is there anyway to get the names of my structure field names via an FM or through coding?

Two ways:
1) If you define your structure based on a data dictionary structure, you can use function module DDIF_TABL_GET to get the structure field names.
2) In NetWeaver version 6.0 and above, you can use Run Time Type Services (RTTS) classes for this purpose.
Here is sample code for RTTS:

Master table for RFQ(Request For Quotation). Field name is RFQ

I need to know the master table for RFQ(Request For Quotation) number . The field name is ANFNR . In the T.code ME42, i found that it is using the structure RM06E. But i need to know its corresponding master table

the table EKKO (EKPO Items table) and you can find the Quote number in EBELN field. Don't go by the structure / field name on the screen
Forgot to metnion that you need to use the right document category and the document type.

Does length of CBO table's field is shorter than structure field?

length of CBO tables's field name is 16 and structure field name 30.
how this happen?
I was trying to make CBO table include some structure.
and that says field name is too long.
is this not possible all structucture can include CBO table?
or should I change table properties like tech. settings?
does anyone can solve this problem?

Hi!
Unfortunately there is no way to enter more than 16 chars long names into tables. Nor with an included a structure.
As the sap help sais:
"There are some restrictions for certain objects. These objects are included in the following list together with the maximum length allowed:
Transparent tables and their fields: 16"
Correct the names within your structure (use less than 16 characters for the field names).

You may use of COMPONENT of your structure.
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <F>.
ASSIGN COMPONENT I OF STRUCTURE F TO <F>.
To find index of component you may use
DESCRIBE FIELD f INTO td.
(But SAP beware us)

I have an OSS note, it tells you step by step how to config the badi u need.. but does not mention about the logic u ll use.. it is up to you....
so i need to find the field names and tell take these and post them to these columns...
i dont know if i make any sence, but this is all i need to do...
so i have the body i have the logic but i dunno the import and export fields...
i believe the table is ckmlkeph.... and field that populate the columns are kst0XX, but i cannot see the field name and table name if i select a line in the column and F1 ????

Field name DUMMY is reserved (Do not use structure as include in DB table)

We are trying to add a custom field, e.g., called ZZZ in LIS Communication structure MCEKKO (Purchasing Document Header) by creating a new custom append structure and add the field ZZZ into it, then activate the new append structure, but get warning msg like "Field name DUMMY is reserved (Do not use structure as include in DB table)".
We do find a field called DUMMY in the structure MCEKKO. How to get rid of the warning msg and successfully activate the new custom append structure with the new field ZZZ?

I am having a screen where i enter a value in a field and that field is a structure field, I would like to know in which table and what field is this value storing?
Can anyone help me out in finding the field name? and what is the procedure to find?

Hi Satya,
In the field data section (technical information), you can double click on the field name then the system will take you to SE11 (Data Dictionary). From here, you can check whether the field is available in tranparent table or structure.
In general, as naren mentioned sales order header data stored in table VBAK and line item in table VBAP, VBEP, etc.
For request delivery date, it stores in table VBAK-VDATU.

Method t create dynamic structure if the field name contains space

HI all,
I am creating a dynamic internal table. Everything id fine but when creating dynamic structure if field name contains space its giving me dump.Can you please suggest me any other methos which takes space in the field name.
Iam using the following method:
gr_struct_typ ?= cl_abap_structdescr=>create( p_components = gt_component ).
In the gt_component i have one of the field with space like ( RU STAND) and its giving error.
Any help will be appreciated.

If the space in the fieldname is a mistake then you could simply use:
CONDENSE ld_fieldname NO-GAPS.
However, I guess your fieldname should contain this space:

How to find table name for a structure field

There is a field in contract display screen (VA43). Item overview tab. The name of the field is Value released (RV45A-AWERT). Can anybody let me know the name of the table and field that has this value. I have to display this value in a custom report.

You can the see list of tables used for VA43 through transaction SE80.
If you want to see the field is used by tables then go to transaction code SE84.
1) Select ABAP dictionary->Data elements.
2) Give the field name in the Data element under Standard selections and click on execute.
3) Check the data element and click on where-used-list(CtrlshiftF3)
4)Check table fields
5)It will display list of table fields used by this field.

Field names Missing in the (Excel) Mail attachment
